My friend and I had our first-ever wine tasting at The Winery at Bull Run, and it was unforgettable. We were lucky to be served by Elle. she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! She explained the wines beautifully and even shared some fun facts that made the experience extra special. We loved it so much, we ended up buying a bottle of the Delaney such a delightful wine! The winery itself is beautiful, with plenty of seating and super chill vibes. There was a live band playing while we were there, and it added so much to the atmosphere. Some ladies and couples were dancing, it was actually so fun to watch and be part of! Highly recommend visiting, and if you get Elle, you’re in for a treat! 🍷🎶

Great experience, the wine tasting was good and the wines were delicious. Very chill vibes and I like that they have lots of space options. Great staff which made it awesome. I live far but I'll swing back when in the neighborhood. They also do wedding venues as well.

Caught the sunset here for a friend’s birthday celebration. It was really nice. This was my first time at a winery and I wasn’t disappointed. The heated tents were a major plus considering the cold temperatures. We enjoyed muddled wine as well. Everything was clean and organized with thorough signs and instructions. Parking was easy. There were even places for adults to bring their kids and they host several events and there was live music happening too. It seems very accommodating. The wine tasting was cute and affordable. We learned about the Norton grape of VA. I wasn’t impressed by the tastes of Bull Run but I still enjoyed the experience. They even let you keep the wine glasses. Meghan was the curator and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely come back here and I would recommend others to come as well. It was a beautiful evening.

It’s a beautiful location with good wine! Hear me out, I don’t typically like Virginian wines. In fact, I’m a bit of a snob. The Chardonnay was basically unoaked, with 98% stainless steel barrels. The viognier was another great one! The wines were fairly priced considering it’s a winery and they had many options for food. We booked the General’s Quarters for a birthday and I would highly recommend it. No children are allowed and you get a bit of shade with cute string lights overlooking the vineyard. 10/10 would go back!

Google
Great tour at the Winery at Bull Run. Its scenic and relaxing with great wines. We bought a couple of bottles of our favorites to take home.

This was our first time visiting Bull Run and we absolutely loved it! We did the wine tasting and enjoyed all six wines (3 white and 3 red). Paolah was very knowledgeable and definitely made the experience more fun! We enjoyed live music and pizza outside at their picnic tables next to the vineyard. Would highly recommend!

Google
Absolutely great Value for the wine tasting! We got to try 3 whites and 3 reds, they definitely have some unique flavors to offer there. The view was stunning with the leaves 🍁 changing colors in the fall weather! Their staffs were super knowledgeable and helpful! Just wish they could offer flyer set to take away instead of standing at the bar. Felt kinda rushed. They have food trucks offer foods on the side. You could see horses if you are lucky. Highly recommended in DMV area!

A group of 4 of us enjoyed our time at Bull run. Though there are things that made us decide not to join the wine club. The tastings must be done at the bar inside, standing up. They have a full tasting of 3 reds 3 white and two half tastings of 4 red or 4 white. That's a bummer for a number of reasons and not very friendly for anyone who can't stand for long periods. We decided to go for a bottle of the reconciliation which was delightful. We tasted their Norton forward blend which was also good. They did offer us 2 free tasting pours before we decided on which bottle to get which was nice. We weren't given water when we did buy our bottle, I saw on another post that you might have to buy bottled water if you want water which isn't ideal. I can't confirm for sure that is the case but again, we weren't offered water. We got pizza from the truck, it was just okay. Definitely from frozen. Oh and someone else commented on this but they don't cut the pizza all the way through so it was a struggle to eat it. One more thing- clearly it gets really busy here sometimes because there is a lot of crowd control measures in the parking lot and even walking up to the tasting room. They could do a better job of making the tasting room also, I think.

Yelp
A pretty famous winery in the area, it took me years to finally stop in. On a gorgeous day, with the parking lot full, the outdoor area was so nice and didn't seem as packed as it was. Inside it was a mad house- I'm surprised they didn't have two separate lines for just the wine/food ordering. We really enjoyed their rose and one of the reds. I also got the Punic box for 35$- over priced but had a great selection of items so was decently worth the price. The winery is segmented by kids or adults, and there was ton of outdoor seating. Sitting near the fence was awesome when the horses are out. It appears outside food was allowed which is nice. Bathrooms were clean and parking was plentiful.

Yelp
Lovely winery with great views. The grapes are actually pulled from their other wineries in the Shenandoah Valley. Love the space. They had a lot of indoor seating for the cold winter days. They even had a covered patio, though when the door was left open, it got pretty nippy. They have tasting at this big bar area, so be ready to stand. They only do tastings at the large bar area and all the staff is passing the bottles back and forth for the tastings because there are set menus for the tasting. A red, white, and two mixed tasting menus. The wines were good, my favorite being the chardonnay and the meritage. The chardonnay was a surprising one for me since I don't typically like chardonnays nor whites as much as reds but this one was pretty smooth and probably my favorite out of the list. The meritage was good and fit well with my style similar to a bourdeaux. This place was a great spot for groups and friends. I didn't check out the basement area, but there seemed like decent amount seating downstairs. They were also offering a deal on one of their wines for the holidays, though when we got it, it was the last of the batch.

Yelp
The Winery at Bull Run is a classic if you're in the Manassas area. The property is large and in a historical area. As soon as you walk in, there are high tops to the side, a bar to purchase snacks straight ahead and a bar to the right for tastings and purchases. I did a tasting of 6 wines for $18. There were 3 whites and 3 reds to try. You also had the options to try 4 whites or 4 reds for $12. My favorites were the Chardonnay and Meritage. Their Norton is worth trying since it is a Virginia Grape. I thought the most recent vintage tasted like fireball. Theres plenty of seating downstairs, outside and around the winery. Highly recommend to bring the whole family!

Yelp
Winery Day Out was a Hit !! I located this winery on Groupon. I bought a voucher for 2 for a tasting. December 7th is the day. Hubby and I took the 2 hr trip to visit. This winery is located on a huge property w attractive view of vineyard along the drive up to the tasting room. Once we entered the tasting room, there was plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. An attractive tasting bar to the right, merch and snacks for purchase, and more. We walked up to the tasting bar and interacted w Paula. She assisted us the entire time and was pretty awesome. She was soooo knowledgeable about each wine. Paula helped make our 1st visit to this winery a great experience, and meaningful. Each pour was perfect and generous. There was a musical performer on the enclosed deck. It was nice and warm out there with the heaters provided. Before leaving I was able to get plenty of pics of the many picturesque backdrops outdoors. I look forward to returning in the summer to capture great outdoor seating vibes, food trucks, and part II of wine tasting.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to check out The Winery at Bull Run. Adorable spot with lots of parking. When we arrived, an employee greeted us and offered the option of the family friendly area or the 21+ area with patio. We opted for the 21+ area which was serene and overlooked the vineyards. While the two areas weren't far from one another at all, there was minimal noise which was appreciated. My friend and I both ordered the mulled wine which for the chilly day was a great flavor and perfect for the fall season. We also split a pizza flatbread, which was a nice snack but wouldn't consider a full meal. So glad we went and look forward to stopping by again!

Yelp
We absolutely love the winery. We have been club members since the beginning. Lately we've been picking up our club delivery and heading home. Today we came in for a tasting. Paolah was amazing. She was very informative and made a tasting that we've done before very interesting. It was great. I'm very happy we decided to take the time and come in and enjoy the winery as well as our wine club. We picked up a couple bottles of 2017 Norton too.

Yelp
I came to this winery to see a band one Saturday evening, and to my surprise, I fell in love with the winery itself! Parking was easy, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food truck food was pretty decent too! I tasted their Riesling and it was so delicious that I purchased a bottle. It was a good time all around!

Yelp
The Winery at Bull Run offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled amidst picturesque vineyards, the winery provides a serene and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of the winery is its affordable wine tasting options. For $18, visitors can enjoy a full tasting of six wines, including three whites and three reds. The half tasting, priced at $12, offers a choice of four whites or four reds. This makes it an excellent choice for those looking to sample a variety of wines without breaking the bank. While the wine tastings were enjoyable, the food options proved to be a bit pricier than expected. The flatbreads, though tasty, were on the smaller side and lacked a standout flavor profile. However, the Parmesan tots from the food truck were a delicious treat, albeit a bit expensive for the portion size. Overall, The Winery at Bull Run is a fantastic destination for those seeking a scenic getaway. The beautiful surroundings and affordable wine tastings make it an ideal choice for a leisurely day trip. While the food options could be improved, the winery's charming ambiance and picturesque setting more than make up for it.

Yelp
This is one of many BEAUTIFUL Virginia wineries with some amazing scenery. We come here once or twice a year and share 2 to 3 bottles. There is plenty of parking available, although it's always better to get there earlier to grab a good parking spot and a good table. Being that we have been so many times, we usually get the same wine--DELANEY.. in the beautiful blue bottle. Occasionally we feel a little adventurous and try a different white wine. The bottles are roughly $30+, but the prices have gone up each time we go back. It's always been busy inside when we are waiting to order our wine. But the ladies are always so genuine and nice. Sometimes if we are a little indecisive when deviating from our Delaney, they suggest an alternative and provide a small taste. I haven't tried any of the red wines but want to try the mulled wine one day...which I say every single time.. I love that we can bring outside food, which we always do, since we eat a lot. When we came during the pandemic, there was a security guy standing outside and he allowed us to bring the sealed water bottles, I tried to bring my gallon of water, which was already opened, but the security guy said absolutely not. But to be fair, that was only one time. The outside seating includes first-come picnic tables, which are nicely spaced out, so no one is invading anyone's space. We always grab a table in the back, but close enough to get another bottle and to use the bathroom. Sometimes they unlock the outdoor bathrooms, but we usually just go inside. There is also covered seating available to hide from the sun or rain....or snow. There are trash cans outside so no one needs to leave their trash or litter. We always come on the weekend, so there have been times it is packed, but also empty. They make food on the other side of the benches on a grill; since we always bring our own food, we haven't tried their food yet. If I remember correctly, there is also a family area, for those who bring small kids. The last time, we were here, two women came by on their beautiful horses.

Yelp
Had a generally enjoyable time here. We had a wine tasting and that was worthwhile because it let us sample various wines. We really only liked one and that was the one we got a bottle of to take home. The food options are kind of disappointing. The charcuterie box $35 looks like something you get at Starbucks or a lunch able. So we opted for hummus and chips. The vibe was nice and inviting and it was a crisp fall afternoon.

Yelp
We had family visitors from outside state, so we took them this winery where was close to our place. The wine tasting is always a good option! The staff are always friendly and we like the atmosphere! The outside seating area has so many tables and I've noticed there are new reserved seating areas for picnics, birthday parties, wedding receptions and so on. But, the weekend in June was super crowded and we barely found a picnic table. Beautiful scenery and wonderful time! Visiting to this winery always brings us fun memories!

Yelp
Got here a little before closing time on Saturday with a few friends to celebrate my birthday. Seating is first come, first serve. There were plenty of options for seating and because we got there a little later in the day, many people were leaving so parking was rather easy. We opted to sit outside on a picnic bench which could easily seat 8 people. We didn't have much time to try a lot of the wines, so we opted for a bottle of their Sweet Victory wine which had a smoky, but sweet taste and the dessert wine which is a nice summery wine. What we all loved was the scenery! There were horses on site, large green expansive fields, and great photo opportunities with the large mural painting of Enjoy Virginia Wines at the front. I definitely would recommend this winery, and return. It's not too far of a drive from DC which also makes it convenient!!

Yelp
Nice winery with great views of a field/meadow and mix of Reds & Whites. I enjoyed a glass of the sweet white wine Curvee Blanc (tastes like a Riesling), while my hubby got the full tasting with a complementary engraved logo glass. The wines were a bit drier and it was a bummer that the dessert wines and cider couldn't be part of the tasting. Our server added the Rose as a bonus free tasting. I appreciated the server gently nudging us away from the $35 "premier charcuterie board" which was just a small sample of crackers, pretzels, cheese to recommending a spread (only $12) that came with 2 bags of Stacey's pita chips. which was def the better deal! The service was a little stand-offish as we didn't get oyster crackers initially with the tasting like other customers (I requested them after the tasting) and our server frowned at my hubby and I sharing a tasting. The covered patio seating and benches with beautiful views of the large vineyard and meadow of horses was relaxing and tranquil. The weekends can get pretty packed, recommend coming on a weekday. Monday was awesome with only a few other couples/families. It's a nice winery to visit if you're driving through or in the area. I've been here 3 times in the past 10 years for tastings and a wedding. While I enjoyed my experiences, I wasn't blown away by the wines or the views and prefer wineries in Loudoun County that are a bit less packed over the weekend. Would come back again when I'm in the area.

Yelp
It's a cute tasting experience with a nice view of the horses and the vineyard. There's a lot of picnic space, so it's perfect on a sunny day. My friends and I went for the 6 wine tasting (3 whites and 3 reds) and it was overall a pretty positive experience. Service was quick and informative and the bar was busy, so it wasn't a long time for standing.

Saniya S.

Yelp
I had gotten a Groupon for their tasting and came here with a few of my friends. The tasting area was pretty packed but we were able to get some space and start our tasting quickly! We were able to try 3 white wines and 3 reds. The Chardonnay and the Norton were my favorites! Honestly all 6 wines we tried were great. I love the seating area outside as well, it was so serene and beautiful. I'd definitely recommend coming to this winery :)

Yelp
Wandered upon the winery as a spot to hangout during our date weekend. It definitely was a great wine tasting experience followed by an amazing time to reconnect and relax. The woman who served us was non pressuring and very helpful. This gave us an amazing afternoon.

Yelp
My family and I randomly dropped in on a Thursday and it turned out to be trivia night. As we arrived to the bar and checked out the menu, we knew immediately we would do a wine tasting. Madi walked us through each wine and also serviced other guests but never forgot about us. Her customer service was inviting and top tier. I even had the pleasure of meeting Colleen, who is one of the managers. She too appeared sweet, authentic and personable. After finishing the wine tasting, we bought a bottle of rosé and the smoked pimento cheese that comes with 2 bags of pita chips. Everything was pretty good. Additionally, we were able to join trivia, hosted by Drew. Drew did a fantastic job, keeping the energy upbeat and keeping everyone entertained and engaged as he shared the answers. We'll most certainly be back for a wine tour.
google avatar

Lola A.

Yelp
Had a lovely time attending the The Fifth Annual Barrel Tasting here. Everyone was so kind and nice to talk to. I loved how for the barrel tasting they had hors d'oeuvres paired with each wine from Founding Farmers. I found a wine I liked and purchased a bottle. Everything was very organized and clean and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's such a fun experience and educational at the same time. If you're someone like me who is always trying to expand their palette and find wines they like, you'll really enjoy this. I'd come back just to hangout in their tasting room too. The only con is that the food at the tasting room (pizza from them and cheesesteak from the food truck are not good at all, would not recommend the hot foods).

Yelp
I recently visited The Winery at Bull Run and had a wonderful experience overall. The decor and vibe are on point, capturing a traditional winery setting that feels both charming and historic. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing day out, the service was great, and the scenic views add to the overall appeal. However, I did find it a bit on the expensive side. Some items felt overpriced, which really sucked. Despite this, the quality of the wine and the overall experience still made it a worthwhile visit. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a nice day out, just be prepared for the prices.
google avatar

Yelp
This was our last stop for my birthday winery tour. The wines were great and the staff was so helpful. They made ordering for a large group incredibly easy which I appreciate. The outdoor space was so nice and I recommend that you do a tasting. Colleen was an amazing guide and added to our group -- we wanted to keep her! (To anyone planning a winery trip we went to pearmund first and then la grange)

Yelp
OMG, I couldn't wait to share my fabulous experience for my fall picnic in the Vines at The Winery at Bull Run on October 15th! As many don't know it has been 4 years I haven't been there and was excited when Jennifer reached out to me once I asked who would let me invade their winery!! Feedback for the picnic experience - 5 stars for Warrenton Picnic Co. She worked with my vision and delivered with the decorations (I have used her before ) Winery. She picked the perfect location since setting up in the vines was difficult due to the terrain. Staff and management - 5 stars with communications and working with my vision. Clear communication and prompt answers to my many questions A backup plan was offered if rain that day * Guided tasting: 5 stars - At first, it felt she was in a rush, but I asked her to slow down a bit and give us a minute to enjoy the wines. In depth history of the winery and wines were on the menu lol ! My ladies enjoyed the picnic set up, the attention that was given to us during our picnic and the great wines as well! I wonder if I am the first person to have a picnic there? Lol am I? Jennifer McBride VanderKleut ?

Yelp
This winery is definitely the place to be on a Saturday afternoon. It opened at noon and it was packed. There's plenty of areas inside and outside to sit. There's a bar inside for wine tastings. The tasting price was only $18, which included 4 whites and 3 reds. I was surprised, but all of the wines I tasted were so good! I didn't eat any food there but they had an outside vendor sell food and Bull Run sold snacks like charcuterie boards. The views outside are beautiful. It's the perfect place to be on a warm weekend afternoon.
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
The wine here is delicious, the views amazing. We enjoyed this beautiful day. I was highly dissatisfied with the pizza they sell for $24. It resembled the mediocre frozen pizza you can find at the grocery store. I would not recommend, probably go for the food truck next time. Stars are for the wine, service, and ambiance. Just don't get the over priced pizza.

Yelp
Not happy at all. We drove from Chesapeake to visit the winery today. After the long drive and we arrive, they are closed. I look again at the website and it says open at 11. We called and nothing and to say disappointed is an understatement. If a business is going to be closed, you should really update your voicemail and webpages.

Todd M.

Yelp
Great place for drinking wine indoors or out. It's located basically on the battlefield with history all around.
google avatar

George N.

Yelp
Such a fun place for small groups of friends or couples. Great wine and delicious snacks. LISA one of the ladies at the bar who does wine tastings was so much fun and so friendly. Helped make the wine tasting unique and a great experience. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Yelp
Beautiful location, and great wine. Came here after a 5K race. They offered a free glass of wine for runners. Very generous of the winery to host 200 sweaty athletes. Nevertheless, they were very welcoming. I had a very solid Meritage. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Yelp
Looking to do a family and friends day trip to a winery? This is not the place. If you have "kids" you are directed to the basement (they literally call it the basement, not even lounge, or something not negative), or you have to sit in the outdoor patio, which, with an 8 month old in under 50 degrees, really isn't acceptable. The basement looked nice, but no one was down there and not really the vibe you're going for if you're at a winery. There was plenty of room indoors. First, the guy at the door made the above clear, and with our hands full (strollers + kids), did not even offer to help with the door, he was literally standing next to. Second, I used kids in quotations, because there were other kids (under the age of 5) sitting inside, yet guess there's an arbitrary age cutoff for the mandatory shaming to the less desirable parts of the property. I just really don't get the business model. Wineries are meant to be family friendly spaces intended to bring people together. If they don't want kids there, they should make a clear policy so people don't waste their day making an hour trip out there.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
Good thin crusted pizza in 12 or 16 inch pies. You can order online for pick up. This is located on the backlawn of Bull Run Winery next to the tent. The pizza is hot and fresh, made to order. It's especially tasty whilst drinking. The chardonnay. Dessert and white wines were all delicious. + parking shared by the winery. + fresh taste + served hot + can still pick up without having to buy wine, etc.
google avatar

Samuel D.

Yelp
The wine price adds up if you're not splitting it with a group, but they make great tasting wines and the staff is helpful when deciding which one you want to get or during a taste testing explaining in great detail about the wine you are drinking! I didn't try the food there yet but it looked good from what I've seen!
google avatar

Marie C.

Yelp
We hosted two events here! Sadaf was awesome to work with. She was helpful in a hundred ways. Her experience of the venue and customer service was wonderful. We had a Friday night event in the all weather tents (weather was perfect!) and a Sunday brunch in the Barrel Room. Both celebrations were catered by Cheesesteak Love. They have a great relationship with the winery so the collaboration was key to hosting two terrific events.

Yelp
Wow, this was a very nice day. My wife and 9 members of the family spent a few hours enjoying the views, wine tasting and good food, charcuterie boards and more. It is a wonderful venue and I highly recommend this location. We went in December. It was still very comfortable out on enclosed porch. I'll definitely be back. I think summertime will be amazing with the Battleground at Bull Run. Shout outs: Raphaella was wonderful. She engaged with us and did an excellent job walking us through the wine tasting, explains the Wineries processes, the grapes and the history. Just great and I hope she's here the next time we come. 5-star personality. Melissa, what a nice person, engaging and polite. Excellent hospitality. Thank you!

Yelp
Visited for the first time after living in the area the past five years. We came on 11/9 to celebrate a birthday. Literally from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, I've never felt more unwanted at an establishment. We drink a lot and have frequented many wineries and breweries. We will never return to this establishment. We were harassed initially by whichever staff member was assigned parking lot duty. We pulling into the wrong area at first. He was using hand motions to act out us being "morons" then proceeded to motion the action of "suck it" when we made our turn around to the correct entrance. Then was followed by a friendly middle finger from him. We passed 3-5 different other staff members walking up the hill from the parking lot. We weren't told until arriving all the way at the entrance that our birthday balloons aren't allowed due to "a horse farm" about a mile from their establishment.. The entire time, we were berated or stared at by varying other staff members. We were handed a rule sheet upon arrival. So we understood we couldn't light our birthday cake candles. We didn't even have a lighter on the table, our cake was already cut/eaten, and we were still made sure, by multiple staff members walking specifically up to our table, that we weren't going to light a birthday candle. Our vapes were literally resting IN OUR BAGS and we were told that if we wanted to, we had to go across the hill to the designated smoking section if we wanted to partake. It was like eyes were never taken off of us the entire singular hour and a half we were there. We couldn't even enjoy what was supposed to be a nice birthday celebration amongst sisters outside on a nice day. Anyone interested, we had a much better time at the Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farm. Way less stuck up, stingy rules. Way more laid back, friendly, attentive staff. Way better alcohol and selections. Be better bull run. You suck for this experience.

Yelp
Family outing on Mother's day enjoyed be eight of us. We were met before we parked by staff and received a site map. We were me at entrance and explained where everything was. Several varieties of wine purchased and enjoyed.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit to the Winery at Bull Run located just outside of Centreville. I thought it was fairly priced with a one time membership around $30 for regular tastings. The outdoor seating is gorgeous and they offer many events in the evenings that seem worth coming back for!

Yelp
Paola knows her stuff! So welcoming and sweet. Thank you for the lovely experience! We enjoyed our wine flight & we'll be back soon!

Yelp
This a review for the outstanding Civil War collection at The Winery at Bull Run, located near the visitors center on the Manassas Battlefield. This is a world-class collection of relics, better than you will see at any of the National Park Services sites in Virginia. In fact, if you go to any of the sites you will be disappointed because there are little to no relics on display. In many cases you will be underwhelmed by what you see. Not here. Owner Jon Hickox, a true Southern gentleman, has the former White Oak Museum, on his property and what you will see is truly overwhelming and educational. If you have an interest in the history of our great country, do yourself a favor and visit this outstanding museum-class collection. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I've been to this spot a handful of times, in college and now as an adult this spot has everything you need for a fun afternoon. Plenty of outdoor seating, beautiful open views, indoor tasting room for colder days, snacks and wines to choose from. The mulled wine was so so so delicious- perfectly sweet and warm for a cold November day. The service for our tastings was perfect! Very kind and knowledgeable on which wines go best with which snacks or meals. I prefer a sweeter wine and was in the mood for a red, my gf prefers drier whites. We settled on a semi sweet red and split the bottle while we catch up and hung out inside :) Oh- and with a tasting purchase (6 sips) you get a free glass to add to your collection! She also ordered a grazing box with a ton of crackers, cheeses, olives, nuts etc. this spot has it all and is perfect for couples, friends, family, intimate gatherings, and everything. I was next to a pair of new parents having their babies first birthday- what a perfect place to host adults and nuggets!! I think they outdoor area had heated lamps and tents.... Worth a visit if you haven't been there yet! Virginia is to (wine) lovers :)

Yelp
My husband and I visited The Winery at Bull Run on Sunday. It was our first time at the winery and we had such fun. I enjoyed a red spicy red, and the winery offered many snacks. I was pleased that they offered a vegan option, hummus and pita chips. Plus, the wait staff was friendly and very helpful. There was also a food truck available where my husband bought a lobster roll which he loved. The best part of the afternoon was the 5-piece local band called Chasing Magic that performed on their patio. They played all afternnon with songs of many eras. They were the best ever and very entertaining. The winery has a lovely patio and dozens of picnic tables among the trees in a beautiful setting overlooking a vinyard and horse ranch. The vineyard also has a nice area for families. I higly recommend the Winery at Bull Run if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon or evening.

Yelp
I hope you enjoy breathing in toxic silica while sipping their wines because this place is right next to a concrete mixing company. You can smell the dirty, nasty, dusty concrete and it's disgusting. It costs $10 to even get in to drink wine that's not even made on the premises. Good thing, too, because I'm sure the grapes are covered in silica dust. The only thing I liked about this place is that they don't allow dogs (not everyone likes dogs) and they don't let people's kids wreak havoc around the winery.

Yelp
It a nice place , good wine . Don't get a lot for the wine tasting for the price you pay compared to places around could add a lil bit more , they have a really cool cellar with a armory of civil war cannon rounds , view is amazing ,

Yelp
Great chilly Saturday visit to our favorite Northern VA winery to pick up our Generals Club wines allocation. Enjoyed our wonderful Generals Club tasting and also had a few glasses of our favorites listening to the live music on patio... Paolah was the most knowledgeable and engaging steward for our tasting that we've ever had in over 7 years!... will specifically look for her on future visits...

Yelp
we had a great time at trivia tonight! Christian was fabulous with asking us if we needed anything else, opening the door for us, and all around hospitable.

Yelp
Visited with a friend on Sunday for an impromptu meet up. We did a tasting at the outside bar. We opted for the full tasting versus the half. Afterwards, we ordered a bottle to share at the patio and ordered a pizza. The outside bar closed shortly after as the forecast called for rain, which thankfully held off. We then went inside to taste another wine and grab a bottle with some cheese and crackers. All of the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, while we were inside, our table was cleared off. The staff was nice enough to replace our waters that were taken away. All in all, we throughly enjoyed our experience.

Yelp
The setting is gorgeous and the customer service is impeccable. The staff are knowledgeable about their wines and all of them were very good. It had something for everyone, sweet and dry wine lovers alike. Fair prices for what you get. The only thing is I wish you could get just a pour of the dessert wines instead of having to buy a bottle.

Yelp
Easily one of the best wineries in northern VA. Great service and atmosphere. Inside you get to try out different wines to see which you want to get a bottle of. The customer service is great. We even ended up getting a membership for the wines. They had a food truck service tater tots and also had a separate place to order pizza. Everything tasted great. Overall, it's a great spot to hang out for a couple of hours while drinking wine and enjoying the weather.

Yelp
A great winery close to DC. A beautiful setting with a lot of seating. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the charcuterie box and it was good but the chips and pretzels are stale. I really enjoyed the wine. The Chardonnay and Viognier were my favorites.
