Google
Cute and quaint winery. I actually visited this place for the first time almost a decade ago, so it's been around for a while. They have a decent amount of wine options, and the ambience is great. The outdoor view is pretty, considering it's in a city. I've had a lot of Texas wine. This winery's wine doesn't rank among my favorites, but that's just based on my personal wine preferences. If you like trying new wineries, then this place is worth a visit.

Loved this little spot. Would give a 5 if they had a dry red...(maybe they were out). My husband is a fan of sweet wine so he was very pleased. The mini charcuterie and the bread and oil were very good!!!! Sat outside by the creek. Pretty. Forgot to take pics before diving in but...empty plates speak volumes. Yummy!

Google
I highly recommend this place!! If you are just passing through Abilene, it’s worth a stop! They are great about having themed drinks, music and food trucks on the weekends, comedy shows and trivia nights! They have a wide variety of wine and delicious food!

Google
We attended the trivia contest! What a great eventt, we had lots of fun. People should remember it's not business friendly to bring outside food and beverages. How is the place supposed to make money?

My first time coming here, one of the ladies that was helping me was very sweet, but the other lady that was working there kept jumping in, and was very rude.

Google
Amazing winery! They have the best Chocolate Cherry Port. The staff were super helpful and the patio is simply stunning. Highly recommend!

Google
Some of the wine could be better, but we ended up buying four bottles of the ones we did like. Never been here before, glad we came and will be back. Really good charcuterie and food to go along with your beverages.

Google
The Winery at Willow Creek is a hidden gem in the area. The wines are amazing and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny day and the indoor tasting room is cozy and intimate. I had the pleasure of attending a wine pairing plate and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the wine selection was spot on. I highly recommend visiting The Winery at Willow Creek for a unique and enjoyable wine tasting experience.

Yelp
Very good wines made locally. The selection is great, and the service is on point. They are known for hosting food trucks and musical events. It's a nice atmosphere. They're offer weekly specials and a military discount.

Yelp
Found this little gem today. Decided to go try it out on a nice Friday afternoon. I never would have known it was there. We were greeted by the friendly staff when we walked in. We did the wine tasting. You get to pick 5 wines for 10$. We also ordered the charcuterie pretzel board. It was absolutely wonderful. It had a huge soft pretzel on it with salami, 2 different kinds of cheese, grapes, nuts, pickles, olives, melted queso and ground mustard everything on it tasted great. They even have a butter board. We will have to try it next time. It was a beautiful sunny day so we chose to sit outside. We will definitely be going back soon.

Yelp
The wines were amazing my favorite is the chocolate cherry wine ! My wife enjoyed the pomegranate wine. The cinnamon bites were good too and complimented the dessert wine very well !

Yelp
This is the best kept secret in Abilene! They have a relaxing atmosphere, friendly (family-oriented) staff with great service and their selection of wine and food is awesome. They host comedy clubs, trivia nights and other fun events to include local artists and food trucks.

Yelp
This place has the best staff and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and get another bottle of wine. The desert wines and moscato are my absolute favorites.

Sharon A.

Yelp
Great service and atmosphere! I definitely recommend the wine club membership. You get a box of three wines every quarter. I chose the sweet wines and the selections are always wonderful. The membership includes 2 member and 2 guest glasses of wine each month and a bottle of your choice on your birthday month! You can sit outside or inside. You can even bring your dog with you!

Lesia S.

Yelp
What a delightful place. Lots of drink options, nice food options, a beautiful back yard to sit in and comics to boot. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
smoking section outside, ok. we bought a table. 40 dollars for our table. they marked our name on the table. it was in the shade. a non smoker complained about the smoke. an employee, actually, it turns out it was the owner, MOVED us from the shade directly into the sun where we sat for an hour and a half sweating. then when we asked for water, it took 20 minutes because a different person came by and asked us again what we wanted. my first time being here. when my friends say "let's go to the winery" I will suggest a classier place ... like Breakers where the employees don't harass the guests

Yelp
Delightful place in the dead of winter! Can't wait to come back when it warms up. Right on the creek so lots of ambience. Lacie (sp?) said I could taste until I find what I liked. I tried a white first although reds are my favorite. Their Viognier is a delicious surprise! Fruit forward but not sweet. The Barbera is made from grapes grown in Abilene. Who knew? Good, but I went with Coexist made from Italian grapes. Yum! And my "small" Cheese &salami platter was very generous. Will definitely be back. Try out this hidden gem off Treadaway!

Yelp
Good wine, location and service. Nice seating area outside to relax and enjoy a glass (or two).

Yelp
I've been trying and trying to get into wine for some time but could never find a wine that tasted as good as it smelled to me. Fast forward several years later and I stumbled upon The Winery at Willow Creek. When I first came in on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty slow. I got a moment to talk with one of the employees about how I've been wanting to like wine and thought I'd give there there selection a shot. She was extremely helpful and eager to help me find something I might enjoy. I went for there tasting sampler; 5 wines for $4. $5 if you want to try a Port. Out of the five I tried the Dragonfruit Raspberry was definitely a winner. So much so that I took a bottle home with me. Needless to say, it was so satisfying finding a wine I actually enjoyed. The following Friday, which happens to be today, my husband and I went back to check out their music and food truck event. It was so busy! And rightfully so! The music was excellent, the food truck was kicking out good grub, and people were just downright enjoying the company of one another while sipping their beverage of choice. We even brought our 16 months daughter along and she had a blast running around, watching the fish, and interacting with the other little ones who were there as well. We both got another set of tastings and got a cracker plate as well. The cracker plate was mostly good, we didn't really care for the hexagonal crackers they had. But that's just personal preference. We also found another wine we liked; the strawberry! We didn't pick up a bottle this time since were still working on the previous bottle. But once that one's out we'll be get another. And just like my visit a week prior the employees were helpful, friendly and polite! I highly recommend this place to anyone who may be looking to find a wine they might like while not really having a palette for the wines you typically have access to. The events they host are a blast and can be enjoyed by anyone!

Yelp
So the other guys are right. This place rocks, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing time. I dont even drink wine. Went in and Brittany helped us. She explained everything so the 4 of us did the wine sampler thing. You try 5 different wines of your choice for $4. Found one we liked so we bought a bottle and added a sausage cheese platter. Wine, food, and music was absolutely great. We kicked back and had a great time. The outdoor patio is beautiful and sits on a creek that actually had water in it! Had such a good time we're taking friends back Valentines night. See you there? Oh yah, I drink wine now!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to come back to in Abilene. The wines are incredible. You have a wide variety to choose from that will satisfy your preference whether it's red, white, rosé, sweet, dry, or something you didn't know existed but absolutely need it now. You can also pick 5 wines from their list for a wine tasting. Cheese boards, crackers with cream cheese, and pretzels are additional options to have with your wine.
google avatar

Miriam B.

Yelp
Come here for the patio and the special events they have with Gypsy Blu food truck and Vagabond Pizza. The cheese plate on the wine menus is also a great choice if no food trucks are around. I really appreciate how helpful the staff is in helping you choose a bottle or glass of wine. However, almost all of the wines are sweet! Very sweet. Pucker your lips sweet. The flavor combinations are, how should I say it...interesting? The best choice on the menu is the white cranberry but they have been sold out of it the last two times I have been there. If there were more dry varieties, I would def come more often. A pinot noir on their creek side patio would make for a great day.

Yelp
Being the most Interesting Man in Abilene, I wanted to let you all know: I don't always drink beer sometimes I taste wine. The Winery at Willow Creek is something new in Abilene Texas and something you might not expect to find, a Micro Winery! Yeah that's what they do they ferment, bottle & sell their own brand of wine. If you are looking for something new unique or different to do in Abilene stop give it a try.

Yelp
Comfortable! Kid friendly! Well priced! Lots of variety! Yummy apps! We will keep coming back! My only request is that they would remove ashtrays outside and discourage smoking.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss if you're just driving by, but it is well worth a visit. The atmosphere is just wonderful. While the inside is nice, but small, the outdoor seating area is serene. The patio sits next to a small creek where you can often see fish popping their heads out of the water. Across the creek is a golf course, so the area around the winery is green and peaceful. The staff have always been very accommodating and--even during their busiest times--are always willing to let us sample a wine. The food is good too, with platters of cheese, crackers, and deli meats. I'm very glad to have found this place and in the summertime, it is a regular haunt. Bonus: My girlfriend and I are both professors and on Tuesdays, the winery offers a free glass of wine to teachers. They do ask for a little proof!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I expected a little more of the wine, but for Abilene it was great.

Yelp
If you want a winery that "fits" Abilene, this is it. The bottles are reasonable priced. The house made wines have a decent range but they seem to err on the fruity side. They cater to those that like a little food with their wine by having food trucks out fairly regularly, and then decide you need a little live music with that and get some interesting artists in to play some great blues, rock, and acoustic pop. All in all it's a nice night out with friends, or a relatively decent place for a date.

Yelp
Very tasty wines here. We had a few samples then enjoyed the view with a couple glasses ! Got the cheese plate as well and they were able to split it on the bill which I thought was cool . I'd go back here! We meant to but they are closed on Sunday :(

Yelp
One of my new favorite spots in Abilene! Fantastic wines, yummy food, and a few nights a week they bring in food trucks and have live music (Tuesdays is The Smokery, Thursdays is Vagabond Pizza). They also have a good appetizer menu, and cupcakes! The Blackberry wine and the Pomegranate wines are probably my favorites, but they always have something new in the works. Highly recommend checking out the Winery, it feels like a little vacation!

Yelp
This is a must stop while in Abilene for all! Great atmosphere and best wine ever and don't forget the music and food!

Yelp
Hidden in behind a church, great little spot. Delicious peach chardonnay. Love that they are pet friendly.

Kira M.

Yelp
What an adorable spot! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The patio is dog friendly which made the evening with my boyfriend, enjoying a bottle of their delicious Tempernillo by the creek, absolutely splendid! Very reasonably priced too. Great experience. We would definitely recommend for a laid back, evening with a bottle of wine. We will be back!

T. Dean M.

Yelp
I would give this winery a five, but their nice dry reds are limited and they allow smoking on their patio. (Who wants an ashtray aroma with their wine?) Their ambiance is nice, the view is pleasant and their "Daily red", a Cab Sav, is a pleasant A- rated wine. Their Malbec is a nice "B" rated wine. We were greeted a little less than cordially, but the second lady that served us was very nice. We're not local, but would give this place a second try.

Yelp
The Winery is a little piece of Abilene I wish I had discovered earlier. Driving from the highway you will see the Winery's sign where you then have a short little road to drive down. Walking in the staff were nice and the Blackberry wine tasted great; not too sweet, nice fruitiness. The patio area out back is still a joy to sit by the creek and take in a bit of the outdoor scenery. The atmosphere was nice with some music playing on in the background. Definitely a great place to carry on a quiet conversation and enjoy with friends.
google avatar

Alicia H.

Yelp
I was impressed with their large selection of wines, as well as the quality. I went in just for a quick wine tasting after work (in from out of town), and ended up buying a bottle of the Tempranillo because it was too good to pass up! I also enjoyed chatting with the owner and staff there. Very friendly, and definitely a nice place if you dig sweet wines- they have many of those in addition to a selection of the more standard wines.
google avatar

Malory S.

Yelp
Amazing wine, atmosphere, staff, and food. I have been here several times with friends and family or to get a bottle or two for the house. I always feel like a valued customer and am always satisfied with my wine choice because they are all fabulous! So many fruity flavors and varieties that even the pickiest wine lover will find something to suit their pallet. Highly recommend this establishment!
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
This is a great intimate venue. Staff is always welcoming when you come in the door. Great place for dates, they often have live music. Some activities include the food truck (great choices!) Also, the grape stomp. At night the lights look really serine. The tempernillo is perfection!
google avatar

Laura Lee H.

Yelp
Very much enjoyed my first visit to The Winery, last night. I really liked the frozen "wine-ritas!" The live music was nice, and the volume was low enough we could still carry on a conversation. Great atmosphere, very low-key and friendly. I'll be going back!

Yelp
the wine here is fantastic, i took my GF here for just a look see and and ended up buying 3 bottles. they have platters you can have with a bottle of wine and a pretty nice patio area. the pomegranate wine was pretty good but i prefer raspberry passion fruit was my favorite.

Aaron G.

Yelp
I love this place. Great wine. A lot of sweet wines, you can sample any wine and buy by the bottle or glass. Very nice outdoor seating with heaters and blankets for cold nites. I've been here several time and have enjoyed it every time.
