The Wing Guru

I live in the Whitehaven area not too far from the restaurant. I ordered the 3 piece whole wings with mild guru sauce and fries. The wings were fried hard. Seems like they may have already been cooked before I placed my ordered. The mild guru sauce was tangy and a little sweet but it overpowered the chicken. I would come back and try something else on their menu. I went back the second time and tried the meal again. The whole wings w/guru sauce was tasteful, fresh, and well prepared. They were delicious and easy to chew. I was very pleased with the service that was given.

Hey y’all today at 11:30Am to the wing guru to get lunch I had ordered Boneless wing Memphis Dry heat first timer y’all the staff was very welcoming helpful and on time with food no about the food oh my the flavor there heat garlicky Cajun right on and juice Go to my room bring her here. She ain’t well. I’m gonna go see on the floor. Big daddy said potty in his room he want you out with homemade ranch sauce Generous amount of season Crinkled fries When i left she was so kind telling baby you be back for sure I will I have told every one I work with . Thank you for being part of my good day

Five Stars I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Wing Guru Whitehaven location! I was there as a private chauffeur for an event and couldn’t leave my vehicle. Despite that, the wonderful staff, especially a young lady named Red, went above and beyond. She took my order and recommended the honey gold wings, which were out of this world! The wings were cooked to perfection, the fries were seasoned just right, and the service was impeccable. If I could give more than five stars, I would! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing wings and outstanding service. Kudos to the team!

My family and I tried Wing Guru for the first time and were not disappointed! We tried the 50pc party wings with Guru gold, lemon pepper and the Memphis BBQ flavors. We are already planning our next order and which flavors to try next! Game Day Win! 🏈👏🏾

Today, I wanted to give this location another chance. I placed an order @ 11:15, I order all flats seasoned wings extra wet and an order of fries. My fries were cold and seemed old and wings had no seasoning at all. The young lady was nice and my food came out in 20 minutes just like she told me. But, I’ve decided for the amount of money that is being spent in this establishment my food should be good and fresh. I’m very disappointed!!!

I have patronized this location weekly for about a year now because of the close proximity to the gym (Planet Fitness) that I work out of however, I have noticed a significant drop in the quality of the product, (especially considering the price point) and the service received, that I attribute to the staffing levels. After my last visit, Friday 1/31/2025, I will most likely never patronize this location again. I arrived for my weekly visit to two employees, a man and young lady, feverishly working in the kitchen preparing what I understood to be a rather large order. After what seemed like eternity, my presence was finally acknowledged by both persons but not addressed until the young lady was edged on by the male employee to finally take my order. Somewhat irritated, she came to the register and proceeded to take my order but after I ordered the wings and attempted to order some side items, she stopped and gave me a laundry list of why they couldn't prepare sides, ( " a fryer was down, they were in the middle of preparing a large order, the dog ate my homework......whatever"). I requested clarification by asking her, " so you mean that I can't order, what's on the menu, because you are a little busy?" She confirmed that and even commented that she "should have locked the door before I came in". In FRONT off me! Ratchet customer service at its best. I politely responded that I would happily take my money to one of her numerous nearby competitors, and left. As I stated, with the steady slide in the quality of the product and gold star employees like this, I don't envision this location surviving much longer.

Memphis let me tell you something...This Wing Guru has been North Memphis Certified!!! Thanks Marissa, Pat and Brandon....You all did an excellent job and the customer service goes beyond so many Memphis restaurants. Respect to the GM for putting this team together...Respect!!!

I ordered Triple J 5 wings combo. When I get my wings, I usually grab one and eat it otw to my house, which is about 6 minutes away. I bit into a wing and it was the wrist that I've had. It seems like they allowed the wings to be dried or over fried. I even reached out via email and asked for someone to contact me but no one contacted me. While waiting on my wings, I thought I could get my cup and sip on a drink but she said I couldn't get my cup until I got the rest of my order. Then when she gave me my cup, she beat me to the lemonade and was fixing to take it; i let her know that i wanted the rest of it. I've had other great times that my food has come out very good but this time made me not want to visit again. I had my mouth set on those wings. People complain that they are costly but I didn't care up until that day. The service wasn't pleasant.

Got there at 11:13 and the place was not open. Another customer tried the door at 11:19 and it still wasn't open. I called the number on the door... disconnected. I I tried the number on the website... not working. Service seems subpar. Just go somewhere else.

Nice employees, great food and clean restaurant. I ordered a 4 piece chicken tender meal.

Great wings, very tasty custom sauces. They give you the whole wing, not just half of it! 10 wings and fries was a lot of food. Still bare bones inside as they're just getting started, but can't argue with the wings!
