Crepes taste like tortillas, no flavor, no butter, no moist. Filling was ok - eggs and dill had no flavor either. Sweet crepe with blueberries was a little more enjoyable. I appreciated that it didn’t have heavy cream, but I wish the quality of batter was better

Google
We found ourselves downtown and hungry for lunch. After looking at tons of restaurants in the area we thought we would give here a try. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly! The food smelled delicious and we were ready for one of everything on the menu! We went with thier Fruity Smoothie, Cheeseburger Flatbread and the Monster Crepe! The food came out quick and was super good! Their portion sizes are plentiful and the ingredients all paired together very well. This place is top notch flavor without a hefty price tag! We are excited to go back and try something else on the menu because man this place is good! They also seemed to be Dog Friendly at their outside tables as we saw a few pups out enjoying the weather! They even have a fresh dog bowl. This little spot is definitely worth checking out for a quick meal!

Google
My boyfriend and I were in town for a convention and found this place because it’s close to our hotel. It was adorable! The service was great, my coffee was perfect, and I tried to marry my crepe. We were absolutely going to be frequenting the next time we come into town.

Google
Outstanding crepes! The burger crepe was definitely something not expected that I really didn’t know how delicious it would be. Great serving staff. We had a great breakfast

Google
Great spot for a crepe or sandwich breakfast. This morning I had the Portuguese crepe with ham, basil, eggs and tomatoes. Stuffed huge with lots of flavor. Friendly service and clearly a gathering place. Outdoor seating is nice though the birds are a little aggressive - they know where to get the good stuff too!

Google
Love the vibe. Rustic farm decor and feel. Staff was super friendly. They have tables inside and outside. At some angles of the inside table arrangements, it can be a tight squeeze. I ordered a smoothie - I don't know if it was fresh ingredients, but it tasted like it.. Berrylicious Crepe - it was good. I would recommend adding honey with the filling, BUT that's just me. It was tasty nonetheless! I would come back again, but would try a savory crepe next time.

Google
Absolutely loved stopping in to the Wooden Rooster 🐓. Staying in St Pete and walked by this bustling little place- saw the word crepes and free refills on coffee and said YEP I’m in. The berry crepe was amazing and the cold brew was refreshing and not too sweet. Definitely worth the stop in. Yum

Google
My new favorite spot!!! I’m originally from Europe, so I take my crêpes very seriously! 😂 super cute atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food and coffee options are amazing! Definitely going back! Highly recommend it 🥰

Yelp
Really nice vibe! Employees were all super sweet and helpful. We got the norwegian, the beast, and the pancrepe-- all delicious and good portions We also got some cold brew coffees, they do free refills!!!!!!!!!!! really great experience visiting st pete

Yelp
Great restaurant. The blueberry lemon muffins are very good and I highly recommend. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The crepe was only ok which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The service was fantastic here !
google avatar

Yelp
The coffees were great. We had a iced double expresso and a hot latte. The breakfast, both Norwegian Crepe and Pancrepe were tasty. Friendly services.

Yelp
NO KIDDING DELICIOUS FOOD!! It was very busy, but the service was still great. Order at the counter, pay and find a seat. Not fancy, feels like a great local meet-up spot. LOVED it! I had the b.e.a.s.t. Which isn't what it sounds like. The balance of meat and freshness blew me away. My wife had the gluten free ABC crepe, and that (g-free) is sometimes disappointing... not here! She finished before I did! She was so excited to have a delicious option. About $40 for two drinks and crepes. Given the location and the freshness of the ingredients I felt like it was actually MORE than fair. Can recommend!

Yelp
Everything was right about this place. The coffee, decor, quality of food and variety, friendliness of staff. We are visiting the area and will be coming back daily.
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh hot coffee, tasty breakfast crepes & friendly service.....No Better Way to Start your Morning! Nice "Neighborhood" vibe inside & plenty of outdoor seating as well.

Kassandra S.

Yelp
Amaaaazing sandwiches. I did a BYO and did turkey and Asiago cheese on a baguette and it was 10/10. Also, all adds ons are extra and after I paid, I realized I forgot to add cheese and the staff added it for me tor free, so service is also 10/10. I didn't get on, but coffees/cold brews looked excellent too!

Yelp
In Saint Petersburg, look no further than The Wooden Rooster for your morning coffee and a wide variety of scrumptious breakfast crepes! The receptionist at our hotel kindly clued us in to this place, and we headed there daily!! Superb friendly and quick service, a half block off Ocean on 2nd. You'll thank me later! This morning I chose the Berrylucious crepe with a Cappuccino!
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
Such an amazing 4th of July brunch at The Wooden Rooster. Can't remember everything we had unfortunately but definitely a spot to check out if in Saint Pete!

Yelp
Having a serious breakfast (bacon) craving, we made our way from our hotel to The Wooden Rooster. A few-minute walk from the Birchwood in downtown St Petersburg, upon entry, we enjoyed a comfortable modern rustic setting with both table and bench seating including a very comfortable Swede couch and leather sitting chair that meets your eye. The friendly and wonderful staff make you feel at home as you review the menu. They have both regular and gluten-free crepe options as that is their specialty. My wife was very pleased with her gluten-free Norwegian crepe with smoked salmon, cucumbers, cream cheese, and dill sauce. For my money, the ABC crepe with avocado, bacon, and cheddar cheese was wonderful as well as my side of bacon. All the sauces are made in house and fresh and savory. Additionally, I loved that my cold brew came with free refills. is a casual cafe located in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg, Florida with a second location in Downtown Sarasota. We offer homemade crepes and sandwiches, seasonal soups and salads. As well as handcrafted coffee beverages, craft beers and wines.

Felonice M.

Yelp
When traveling I don't often go back on the same trip to the same place but this gluten-free Norwegian Crepe was amazing. The dill sauce that is house made I could just dip everything in it. Very generous with the smoked salmon. It is a fast-casual setup. You order at the counter, you get a number and they bring it to your table. Both times we were there. It was busy right after we got there. Definitely a good place for a quick delicious breakfast.
google avatar

Shannon C.

Yelp
Delish!! Had the Norwegian (Two scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, dill sauce) and it was amazing!! The lady suggested it and it was perfect. The place is small and cozy but worked out fine for us. BTW, this picture does not do it justice!
google avatar

Shalini R.

Yelp
Delish crepes and cute breakfast spot! Love the indoor and outdoor vibe! Lots of cute shops to explore nearby too!

Yelp
The greeting upon arrival was very friendly. I had the TLT which was delicious. Turkey with arugula, roasted tomatoes, basil and a drizzle of herby aioli. I also had a small side salad, which was fresh and a nice side. Really yummy. The other two crepes were Gluten free and both were devoured. My grandson ordered a made to order dessert crepe that was fun. He chose the ingredients for that one , Nutella, peanut butter and marshmallows - with fresh strawberries on the side, too sweet for me but very fun to share without going over the top. The facility is very cute and CLEAN! We would definitely try some of their other selections given the opportunity.
google avatar

LaToya L.

Yelp
Delicious crepes that are made fresh and served out. Cashier helped me decide which crepe I would order. The vibe was nice hometown coffee shop vibes.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
This is primarily a crepe focused restaurant, and they do have great crepes. We came for breakfast on a Sunday and the wait time was well beyond what it should be (30 minutes wait after ordering). Besides that, the portions were large, food arrived warm and was tasty. As long as you have an hour for a meal, go ahead and give them a shot. Hopefully they will get their service time shortened and the service time did not impact my rating
google avatar

Lizzy L.

Yelp
Very cute place and the staff couldnt be friendlier. The hummus with veggies was cery good! But a tiny cup of lile 3-4 ozenes for $10 with veggies. Not enough hummus to get thru the veggies lol. The two crepes i had were "just ehhh" nothing memorable and too much or too little sauce to enhance the dish. Maybe because mine were gluten free but the insides and their recipes need revamping. Im always grateful for gluten free options( and a lot of folks are looking for this) but then they were out of all the gluten free pastries. this place could be really great with a little help, maybe i just got the wrong things. But it wasnt busy at lunch hour. ...? ‍
google avatar

Brennan S.

Yelp
Had an amazing crepe at Wooden Rooster. The Burg is an egg and mushroom omelette that really packed a lot of flavor. The service was great and the vibe was comfortable and relaxed. Will be coming back again!!

Lisa G.

Yelp
This is a perfect place to stop for lunch or a coffee. We got the cheeseburger crepe and the bees knees and they were delicious! Quick service and friendly staff in a great location.
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
I give this 4 stars because the food was good. Cute little place in downtown St. Pete that has a rustic vibe to it. The service was very friendly (shout out to the waitress that recommended lemon pepper for the Avocado toast) and prompt. My friend got the banana Nutella crepe while I got the skinny goat. We split the Avocado toast. The food was pretty good and it was filling. Love that this place gives free cold brew refills. Try the lemon pepper for not just the Avocado toast but for the crepes as it really adds a nice touch. Not sure how busy they may be on the weekend but came on a Monday morning and a fair amount of people came in. Not a bad stop if you're in the area.

Yelp
Loved this little cafe just off the hustle and bustle of Beach Dr for a casual weekend brunch. I didn't realize you have to place your order at the counter, but the food was served promptly to our table. $25 bottles of Prosecco was nice to accompany our meals. The smoked salmon plate was nice but the highlight was the Norwegian crepe, which was filled with a generous serving of smoked salmon and topped with a delicious dill sauce...yum!
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
Delicious lunch! Visited downtown and walked by this place and it was so cute! So many options and very easy to order! Our waitress helped us decide between the baguette or the crepe, and her suggestion did not disappoint! I had the Apple Melt crepe. It had thinly sliced fresh turkey plus apples and a caramel drizzle ontop! Amazing! My daughter had the TNT Sandwich and it was so flavorful. The baguette was so soft and warm! We were able to sit right outside the restaurant to enjoy!
google avatar

Gabi Z.

Yelp
This crepe place stands out because they offer unique combinations that aren't often found at restaurants. For example, I had a crepe with asparagus, lobster, eggs, and hollandaise sauce. The crepe itself was perfect. However, the eggs were flavorless & the asparagus was a little undercooked. The sauce really made up for it. Overall, I would go back again but would recommend to get a crepe with entirely different ingredients.
google avatar

Liz C.

Yelp
This place serves mostly crepes. The scrambled eggs were really dry come to find out they make a huge batch and serve throughout the day. So it's not technically "fresh" when you order eggs. Service was fine, people were nice. But I've definitely had better breakfast food esp for this price
google avatar

Lori G.

Yelp
Love this place. . . everytime i'm near downtown St. Pete this is my place for breakfast. Huge and wonderful breakfast sandwich and EXCELLENT Avocado toast!
google avatar

Yelp
Great little cafe on busy 2nd Ave N.E., St Petersburg FL. Cozy room w beautifully selected wooden chairs ( not one is the same !) and a nice wooden bench kitchenette . Decor, superb! Menu is varied as far as hot & cold beverages & yummy pastries - the highlight being their selection of crêpes . Wonderful , kind and prompt service complete great coffee shop. Don't miss it- it's not a distinguished St Petersburg Chamber of commerce for nothing !! Thank you. Christina!! Will b back
google avatar

Yelp
love it here! matcha latte: 7/10 skinny goat crepe: 9/10 mixed berry salad: 8/10 whenever i am in st pete for a day this is where i eat. very reliable, easy, and has great menu options! you can sit in there or take it to go, there is always lots of seating open inside though. single bathroom in back and workers are nice
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Menu selection is great, but they were out of six things on the bakery menu when I arrived. The one muffin they did have was extremely dry so I wasn't sure if it was stale. However, the creeps that my friend and I ordered were delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly. I would give them another shot, but probably not on a weekend if they are going to be out of so many items.
google avatar

Yelp
A frequently visited spot for people looking for filling breakfast options and early AM cocktails. Got the ABC crepe (with substitutions), skinny goat crepe, and vegan tartines duo. ABC crepe was phenomenal and filling. Definitely recommend with avocado. The skinny goat crepe feels healthy but tasty at the same time, definitely a great option if you like goat cheese! Vegan tartines duo is my go to, it's classic, large portion, and always satisfyingly filling. If you're looking for crepes this is your spot but will admit not many non-crepe breakfast options. Street parking only. Small breakfast spots with a few indoor tables and outdoor seating. there are board games which is a fun activity too! Service is fast! All in all, a great reliable breakfast spot.
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
This is a great place for a quick lunch. They have the best gluten free crepes we have had outside of France. Try the apple brie and Carmel crepe. It is amazing. It has a French farm house feel. They also have outdoor seating.
google avatar

Cassie C.

Yelp
After watching the sunrise at St. Petersburg Pier, walked over to this cafe and was happily surprised with how great of a find this was! You will not be disappointed with a crepe and cup of coffee from here. Both are decently sized portions, flavorful and the coffee is smooth. As an added bonus, they've got some table games you can play with friends while there! The only downside is the size of the staff. It's on the smaller side so you tend to wait on the longer side for your order. Just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush.
google avatar

Charlotte N.

Yelp
Right in the middle of downtown, we found this cute little place. There were tons of gluten-free options. There were also tons of freshly baked goods and deserts. The food was very yummy. The stars of the show were the Banana Nut Bread and the Homemade Cheesecake. We will be back again.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
When you walk into the Wooden Rooster it feels like you have walked into a cafe in a small town. It's cute. It is home-y. And the food is great. I got the Norwegian and it was so good. I love salmon and I love cream cheese and I love crepes, so this was my perfect combo. I also never thought I was a huge dill fan so I was apprehensive that I would not like the sauce... but it didn't seem too dill-y or maybe I actually don't mind dill! I also got an iced vanilla latte, and it was good too. I often think that a lot of places that serve lattes make them too watery, and this one was not at all so that was a plus!
google avatar

Annabelle F.

Yelp
3.5! Was a staple for me in high school but haven't been itching to go back. Great savory and sweet crepe options and great iced coffee options. It's a bit pricey for breakfast for two but I always leave feeling full! Great location to do a morning walk before or after eating !
google avatar

Geeg S.

Yelp
Crepes were delicious! The caprese was perfectly intact and tasty. The service was quick and kind. The ambiance was chill. Will return again.
google avatar

Kaitlin B.

Yelp
This is a cute breakfast option in DTSP that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Saturday morning, and it took around 45 minutes from ordering to getting our food. We weren't in a hurry, the weather was nice, and we had coffee so we didn't mind but If you're wanting something quick and they're busy I would go elsewhere. The coffee and the crepes were delicious however and portions were really generous. We ate outside and the tables were super close together so conversations was awkward at times, but overall it's a nice breakfast spot! They offer sweet and savory crepes so you're sure to find one that you enjoy.
google avatar

T S.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients, nice presentation. Love the vibes. Our favorite was the tartine, topped with generous sprouts (they are fine and fresh!), hummus (that doesn't taste salty and filled with presertatives), the pesto is delicious. The Norwegian crepe was beautiful , the eggs soft and fluffy, the salmon was mild. We r coming back here...cos they serve good food with good vibes.
google avatar

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Gluten free crepes, are you kidding me?! So good! The ladies were sweet and so helpful in guiding me through the menu. The inside is super cute with good music and they also have outdoor seating.
google avatar

Maddy G.

Yelp
I was happily surprised by the Wooden Rooster! I went on a weekend and service was fast and friendly. There's indoor and outdoor seating, both comfortable to spend as long as you like. I've never seen a gluten free crepe option which is such a nice inclusion! I got the Portuguese on a gluten free crepe and it's the best savory crepe I've ever had! I saw a sign saying they do a trivia night so I'm curious what they serve in the evenings. I recommend for brunch with friends or just to pop in for a coffee on a nice day
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
This was on my bucket list of places to visit. Stopped in for coffee and to eat a little something for breakfast. What a great ambiance. We ordered the flatbread, cranberry & white chocolate scone and 2 lattes. The service was prompt. Just a great little place to relax and enjoy some coffee. We loved the decor. Food, lattes, and vibe overall.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Very cute little breakfast spot within walking distance to many hotels. Delicious coffee and fantastic breakfast choices. Highly recommend the bacon, ricotta, tomato and basil flatbread. It can be shared and it's delicious- topped with aoli.

Yelp
Aaaahhh, this place took me back to the streets of Paris when I visited some five years ago! I had been passing by this place quite a bit for a while, so it was high on my list, and I'm glad I finally got around to check them out! I love crepes. It's hard to find a place that does crepes for some reason (RIP Oooh la la Crepes, I barely knew ye) so I was looking forward to getting my hands on some crepes. They do sweet crepes, savory crepes, but also sandwiches in case crepes are just not your thing, as well as salads. There were so many toppings to choose from. However, I went the simple route, and ordered the Croque Monsieur (hand and cheese with bechemel cheese) along with a side salad to round out the meal. I think I made a great choice. First off, the crepe itself was very light, thin, and held together nicely as I forked and knifed through it, with a good, eggy texture, yet not rubbery, and not like a pancake the way crepes can sometimes be. The ham was tender in texture with a sweet, smoky flavor, and went so good with the Swiss cheese and the sauce, which was generously coated on, but did not weigh down the crepe. Side salad, of course, is side salad, but I will say that the contents in it were crisp, fresh, and I loved the dressing, which gave the whole meal a nice finish. Honestly, the meal was so light, I could've eaten this on a non-cheat day, but it was a cheat day nonetheless, and it really hit the spot. I do notice they have scones, macarons, and different flavors for latte which I know I have to come back here to check out, but I didn't since I've already had coffee on the way here. But I've found my new coffee spot!
google avatar

Romeo D.

Yelp
Their crepes are really something to try and enjoy. Went there on a Sunday morning for coffee and a croissant. Both were really great and so also ordered a Berryliscious crepe and loved it. Super awesome service made this an even better experience. The atmosphere is ok - it's really the food that impressed me!
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
I come here for the crepes only, so please keep that in mind when considering this review. The crepe options are great. Savory, sweet, spicy, fruity: you name it, they can do it. I applaud them for the variety of options, and the ability to create your own. I prefer savory crepes, so I order the the Apple Melt (turkey, apple, brie, spinach, caramel drizzle) and the Whole Enchilada (pork, cilantro, avocado, cheddar cheese, salsa). The flavors are good, but almost $11 a piece and I never find myself full when leaving. It's also not a quick carry-out option and the time from ordering to receiving your crepes is 15-20 minutes around 2 pm. I will be coming back, but there is room for improvement.
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
This is a great location in downtown to stop for breakfast with a mimosa to go with it. The Norwegian crepe was absolutely great and had a lot of protein between the eggs and salmon. The cream cheese was nicely blended in to give the crepe nice balance and the crepe was very lite with a soft texture. The mimosa was fabulous as well. Would love to stop by again when in St. Petersburg.
google avatar

Yelp
Saturday morning at 11am. The Wooden Rooster was a bit chaotic and loud. There was a long line for ordering. All of the tables was full. I snagged a table while my friends waited in line. I thought the crepes was just okay. I got the Cubanito crepe. The crepe was alright. It was kind of strange having mustard on my crepe. I might try a sweet crepe next time.
google avatar

Kate B.

Yelp
Quick, friendly service. Decent crepes, but expensive. I had the full Monty with turkey. It was pretty packed, the crepe itself was a little dry in a few areas. My fiancé had the Portuguese on a sandwich, said it was really good. We shared the berrylicious sweet crepe. Neither of us were a huge fan. It was very raspberry-tasting and there was a lot of berry syrup. The cheese inside was good and the fruit too. Overall, decent crepes. Paid about $50 for the two meals and drinks.
google avatar

Rosemary N.

Yelp
I love that they offer gluten free crepes! So many to choose from! I chose "The Beet" which is spinach, beets, goats cheese, wrapped in a gluten free crepe. A balsamic glaze is drizzled on to the crepe and then it is topped with fresh made pesto, Delicious! Quick service. I love their outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed outside. Gender neutral bathrooms. Paid street parking.

Yelp
I love being surprised by a 5-star meal, & that's exactly what happened today. A bunch of us cycled long distance down the Pinellas Trail & the turn around point was St. Pete. We chose the Wooden Rooster to be our refueling stop for brunch & we hit pay dirt. I ordered the Norwegian, which is a crepe-wrapped bundle of goodness. The bundle included salmon, scrambled eggs, & cream cheese. The wrap was topped with an exquisite dill sauce. I can tell you it took one bite & I was in love. The salmon-egg-cream cheese trio made my palette sing. The dill sauce brought it all together, & I felt like I was having a breakfast fit for a king. The price was about $10 which seemed quite reasonable. The service was amazing as well. This was the best refueling stop I've ever had on a bicycle trip.
