Google
What a hidden gem! We can't say enough good things about "The Woods" We are just disappointed we didn't find this location a week prior. Unfortunately, we found it on our last day/evening before we drive back to WA State. Please if you get a chance. Stop in and having some amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! Connor one of the owners was amazing to talk with and serve us!

Aurora M.

Google
To be honest, I would give this place a 2.5 way to be expensive for the quality of food we actually got. Our waitress was nice, only reason why I gave a 3 out of 5. The only thing is she was making our drinks because the bartender apparently called in, drinks were not good at all, and didn't even drink them but sure did pay for them. Sucks to pay for something that wasn't even good enough to drink. Again, she was very nice, but definitely not a bartender. I wouldn't recommend it. Nothing authentic about this place at all🫤

Google
I need to eat gluten free. The Woods is AWESOME. They have dedicated fryers and many gluten free options. The Baja Fish Tacos and Sweet Potato Fries hit the spot. The atmosphere is wonderful too. The staff is super friendly, inviting, and helpful. It was so good I returned the next day and had the PB&J Burger on a Gluten Free bun…so good! Highly recommend.

Google
Our favorite place to eat when we visit Tahoe! Amazing service with amazing food! There’s bites for everyone. Gluten free options & great kids menu!! We were feeling spontaneous and got the PB&J burger, who would have thought it became our favorite! The tater kegs are also delicious! Great for friends and family

Google
The establishment was billed as a restaurant and the menu showed better than average choices. We arrived and found it nothing but a sports bar. Our server was friendly And being that the place was empty, we were served quickly. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak And Sweet potato fries. When it came out the Steak was tough and chewy. The sandwich usually comes with swiss cheese, which is something I’m not fond of, so I asked for cheddar instead, which was granted. After a few bites, I called the server over and explained that I was not happy and he was completely accommodating and took it and had it removed from the bill. Then the manager came over with a slight attitude and tried to explain to me that all steaks cut are different, like nobody knows that, and also tried to blame the fact that I had cheddar cheese as opposed to Swiss that that made the sandwich no good. He was a little aggressive in an odd way and seemed to want to argue. when u own a “restaurant” it will happen that not everyone will be happy. the proper way to handle the situation is to take the food and remove it from the bill without arguing with the customer. All in all, I would not recommend it if you are expecting a nice restaurant with good food!

Google
Awesome find! We were looking for a bite to eat and Woods was the first spot we found on our drive. Service was welcoming and fantastic! Food was delicious and bonus for having so many gluten free options. Highly recommend!

Google
We came here for the Tator kegs... ended up getting a burger and chicken sandwich also (maybe a few drinks). The owner, Conner, served us himself. Between his welcoming and the delicious food and drinks, we couldn't have asked for more. Beyond impressed with this establishment, and next trip to Tahoe, we will be going back. The food was hot, fresh and well presented.

Bill R.

Google
My favorite sports bar in Tahoe. The sausage and pretzel appetizer was excellent and something different.

Ella T.

Yelp
We have gone here a few times and always have a good experience. The drinks are always fresh and delicious, the food is to die for, and the service is always great. The spinach artichoke pasta is the best things I've ever eaten. Every time we've gone the rooftop has been closed so we're hoping one of these days we'll be able to sit up there but just a warning it isn't always open even on nice days. Overall, we love this place and can't wait to try more items.

Yelp
We stopped by The Woods in South Lake Tahoe and honestly it was a pretty underwhelming experience. The food felt way overpriced for what we got and the flavors just did not deliver. I ordered the burger for 26 dollars and it was as simple as a burger could get with barely any peanut butter and almost no jam which was the whole reason I ordered it in the first place. We also tried what the menu called "calamari" but it was really just fish sticks and at 16 dollars that was a disappointment. My girlfriend ordered the fish tacos and they showed up cold. Service was okay, not terrible, but it definitely could have been more attentive. Overall this was a 3 out of 5 experience at best. If you are vacationing in Tahoe, my advice is to stay out of The Woods.

Yelp
Arrived about 5 on a Thursday and although they didn't look busy it took awhile to be waited on but once we were our waitress was attentive. Margaritas were large and flavorful. The Linen drink was also good. Food: Mega tots 4/5. Crispy on outside and moist on inside but not as flavorful as expected. Better with ranch which we requested on the side. Duck confit chicken wings: 3/5. Didn't taste any duck fat. Dry rub is sprinkled on after they are fried. Honey mustard dip was good. We went for the rooftop bar but didn't go up as from the location it didn't seem it would be worth it but I will let others comment on that. We are visiting and it looked pretty popular with locals.

Yelp
Came here with a group of 6 and sat on their upstairs patio. Service was incredibly slow even though we were part of the only 3 tables in the whole restaurant. Food took very long to come out, same as drinks. I ordered the avocado toast, part of their 4th of july special, which was criminally horrible. It was basically inedible, with absolutely no seasoning. I asked for salt and pepper, and even then i could barely eat it. My boyfriend ordered the woods burger, which still needed a lot of help to eat (no sauce). Also skip the calamari, it was also fairly bad. The server additionally seemed off? She asked us 3 times if we had asked her for something. And my boyfriend ordered a sprite, which he did have to ask for after almost 10 minutes. He got the sprite after a few more minutes, then she brought out another one? For being one of the only tables it was very odd. I don't think i'll return

Yelp
Stopped here for a lunch on Friday during Labor Day weekend. Our waitress was nice and explained the menu items very well. I ordered the BLAT, and the sandwich was solid. Full of bacon and I liked the addition of the avocado. I wish there was a little more spread because the sandwich was a bit dry. Overall, this place is super solid!
google avatar

Yelp
I had to try the peach martini with cinnamon. A rich and "festive" flavor. The salmon in the tacos was grilled just right. Avocados added the right touch of enhanced flavor and texture. The sweet potato fries were done nearly perfectly with the outside crunch and inside smooth texture. The red beet salad was also a good choice.

Yelp
Do not miss this place! The tater kegs were amazing! The service was incredible and they brew their own beer. Fantastic!
google avatar

Yelp
The service here was fantastic and the PB&J burger is a must-try! A great place to stop by while visiting Tahoe.

Yelp
The appetizers were delicious and the entree was tasty, especially the fried spicy chicken with Benye paired together was dynamite!! I don't usually order entrees like this, but I had the perfect bite of my friends and now I want to come back tomorder that very same dish. The Benye has this perfectly soft chew to it and was not at all dry. My husband and I had their burger which was good, but he mentioned a bit greasy. I liked it with the sauteed onions and crispy fries. We also, ordered a beer salad and oranges paired with yogurt. So delightful! The service upstairs on the balcony was exceptional and the gal that helped us was sweet as cherry pie! This place is also dog friendly and very calm on a Sunday afternoon. We definitely will return again to have beers and watch a game downstairs!!

Yelp
Great little sports bar in South Lake Tahoe. Nice number of screens. Very clean with clean restrooms. Good food. I had the crispy duck fat wings, tempura vegetables, B.L.A.T sandwich with potato fries. All were delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Tasty cocktails. I tried the Cherry Delicious (hot drink) and an Old Fashioned with Angels Envy. 4 rating because the prices are a bit high compared to other sports bar establishments I've dined at. That said, I would not hesitate to go back.
google avatar

Stephanie J.

Yelp
Portobello mushroom burger was hands down of the best I've ever had... don't order the tacos, they didn't have much flavor we didn't even finish them. Fries were so good and crispy! Great selection of beer and a couple non- alcoholic too. Would have been nice to have a few more non-alcoholic options.
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Great sports bar, clean, modern vibe with multiple tv's and great selection of food and drink. Two stories and a great spot to watch a ballgame.

Lacey P.

Yelp
Great service from the bartender -- very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor, and the management's response made the experience worse. I ordered a cheesesteak and was told by the manager/owner that the cheese I chose affected the quality of the steak, which is an unacceptable excuse. The place is advertised online as a restaurant, but it's clearly just a sports bar. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Lina O.

Yelp
Best burger I've had in south lake hands down!!!! I got the woods classic burger with impossible patty and side of sweet potato fries. After a long drive up to Tahoe this was much needed.
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
Great place to watch a game, they don't serve food after 6:30pm often. Tonight June 19th 2025 I came in at 6:30pm and no food service only beer or drinks. TOTA sh*tshow. Unless you rent the entire venue for $7,000 for the night you'll be totally ignored. It's a total sh+show.
google avatar

Geoff A.

Yelp
The service was great but out of the 8 served 3 finished their food. The menu should warn about the fish tacos being pretty spicy. I paid $5 for bacon that was rubber. All around it was a terrible meal.

Lauren H.

Yelp
I called in a ToGo order right as the kitchen was closing. I lost track of time but, they were so kind and helped me out. I got the beet salad and it was fabulous! Super fresh ingredients and I really loved the cheese. The candied nuts were killer too. The owner was very friendly and I want to thank the chef. You rock.

Yelp
Stumbled into this place by complete chance. I had screwed up pretty good and put us in the wrong place driving and just wanted to eat and go to sleep. We were on the way to Sacramento from Sonora and I fucked up bad and ended up back in Lake Tahoe. About 70% of the "way to Sacramento" it was dark, as hell, my bride was like, we seem to be in the mountains. What? No we aren't. Yes, we were. Long story short, I let the gps map guide me and didn't pay attention, ended up backtracking many miles to the wrong location. This was bound to be a horrible meal. The good news is that it was a fantastic spur of the moment find and we both enjoyed it. We ate, drank, laughed, found a place to stay while we dined, and ended up having a great time despite my stoned haze. I even got lucky that night! Hell yea!! On to the review... We got Tater Kegs to start. Personal Jesus kind of good my guys. The sauce was great and I enjoyed them a lot. You must buy these if you come. Charity got tacos and I got chicken and b things. Can't spell it right now. Been partaking. Moving along the tacos were great. The corn that came with it was better than any other corn ever! Black beans were some great little black balls of beans infused with love, kindness, and fiber. Fried Chicken and b things were out of sight. Sweet. Spicy. Sticky. Sugary. Just like I like my women except the food will be gone as soon as I poop. I ate it all! I don't remember the inside in the slightest. Like I have no recollection of the server, the bar, the seating. Clueless. Is that normal? Must have been a good place to eat if I remember the food so clearly. I was really, really, stoned at that point. Beers were at the party as well. I have it bookmarked like it was a breadcrumb so I can get back if I am ever near. I would love to see the inside of the place. Just know.... The food is good man. The service is probably good, not sure. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My pictures helped a lot in this review. Take pics folks and duckling label them, please. Duck

Yelp
Ambiance is ok feels like a locals restaurant. You're greeted by a poster that says to sit on your own. Only one waitress available for dinner. She was nice but somehow managed to skip our order. Apparently, the table next to us ordered the same exact thing, as well as another table. Which both got served before us , when we got there first. Waited another 10 min for our food. Food was good and waitress was apologetic, she comped our drinks and appetizer. Waitress was aware of double order while bringing food out and still chose to serve the table that got there after us and then still served a second table. Small mistake that could have been corrected but was not ! Overall experience would not recommend

Yelp
Visiting from out of town with the family and we came across The Woods on Yelp as a lunch option. Upon entering, it was super empty and there was a sign instructing us to seat ourselves. The ambiance was more of a sports bar than a restaurant. Our server was kind, but didn't get his name. He handed us our menus and first thing we noticed was the menu was different than what was on Yelp. He explained the chef recently changed so the menu items are different. Here is what we ordered: - THE PHILLY: 9/10. A little different from the typical philly and was saucier than I'm used to but still very delicious. - FISH & CHIPS: 8/10. Very simple dish, can't miss. - DUCK CONFIT CHICKEN WINGS: 10/10. We ordered the buffalo style without the toppings and it was cooked well and full of flavor. - CRISPY CALAMARI: 0/10. These aren't calamari rings, they are squid sticks that are breaded and deep fried. I didn't like the texture or thickness. The cocktail sauce was really good, but the calamari itself wasn't my cup of tea. - BEIGNETS: -1000/10. Don't bother ordering these. They are small (I mean smaller than a donut hole) deep fried bites topped with powdered sugar. The outside was fried to a crisp, but the inside was RAW BATTER. Literally spat it out as soon as I bit into it. Overall, the food is a hit or miss. Some menu items better than others. Wouldn't recommend this place for family groups or groups with young ones.

Yelp
I dined at The Woods on Valentines Day. Got a rec to come here for the nachos! Unfortunately they changed their menu and we didn't get nachos :( We ordered the calamari, fish n chips and wings. The calamari was in strips and you only got 5 pieces for $15. It was slightly overdone- aka too chewy. The best dish was the fish n chips. Very tender fish and the fries were delish. The wings were good but standard- it was a small portion (6 wings) for $17. I did appreciate all the TVs and the service was decent. For the price of this establishment, I would rather go to Freshies. It was just OK.

Sophie S.

Yelp
Very very good!!! We loved it. Got phillys, fries, sautéed veggies, salmon, and the woods burger. All were amazing. Steak was slightly tough but it was amazing regardless. Good service too!

Steph M.

Yelp
The food quality was HORRIBLE. We ordered a BLT and salmon tacos. The BLT was cold and with literally only one uncooked piece of bacon. Couldn't even eat it lol. They ran out of rice so the salmon tacos plate was incomplete and not good. Please don't sell food if you can't cook them or don't have the ingredients. The prices are insane for the type of food they served us. I really don't recommend coming to this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Fish and Chips and Salmon Risotto were cooked excellent with tender meat. Service was friendly and attentive, thanks guys. Food is much better than Sprouts next door
google avatar

Yelp
Had a wedding reception here. Everything turned out wonderful. Great food. Friendly help staff. Shout out to Levi for being so great! Will definitely visit again for those tater kegs!! The patio is wonderful in the evening!
google avatar

Yelp
A nice locally owned bar and grille. Despite an Order mix up (which the owner fixed) the food was solid Peanut butter n jelly burgers were nicely charred, fish tacos were plump and flavorful. Chicken cesar wrap was nicely layered with some tasty grilled chicken. See you again !
google avatar

Jane F.

Yelp
Great bar! We stopped for a beer and a snack... Bartender was very friendly for a slow mid week lunch! Food was good and the lunch special was unique. They let us walk upstairs and check out the place... seems like a fun bar!

Dani B.

Yelp
We REALLY wanted to like it but just couldn't. We ordered wings and artichoke dip off the appetizer menu. It took about 30-35 minutes to receive. There were 8 people inside, unknown how many outside. The drinks were good and the place was clean. However, it shouldn't have taken that long for simple appetizers.
google avatar

C M.

Yelp
This place has a view of the lake from the second level. The service is always friendly and responsive to your needs. The crab cake sliders are the best in town and you can't go wrong with the fish and chips or the fish tacos. The food is always fresh and hot. I highly recommend you stop in and try it out...
google avatar

Yelp
You guys, it's so bad. 7 people in the place when we arrived. Drinks came right away, which was great, but couldn't get the beer we ordered because the tap was messed up. The Food came with a long wait despite the restaurant being empty. Eventually one of the chefs came out with a single burnt piece of pizza and said "I messed up your pizza. I have to remake it, but here's a slice while you wait." It was a kid's pizza so if you're a parent you know how clutch it is to get their food quickly. We waited a total of an hour for a kid's pizza. Before it came out my wife gave up and took him to another pizza place. When the pizza finally arrived I said don't worry about it, they left. We'll take a box. Surprised the waitress didn't even seem phased by the issue and didn't offer a discount or comp. Over $100 for two drinks, two entrees and a kids pizza, and I wish we'd spent it somewhere else. It wasn't good, at all. Food was less than mediocre.
google avatar

Yelp
This is really a 2.5 star review. We came with our dog and it took a while for us to be acknowledged. After we were directed to the upstairs patio, we were promptly greeted and had our drink order taken, followed shortly by our appetizer (buffalo wings). It took over 45 minutes to receive our wings after placing the order, mind you this was at 6pm and we were the only ones in the patio at the time. The wings were decent. About 20 minutes after placing our meal order, we were notified that they were out of Caesar dressing, again, before their peak dinner time. Instead of the chicken Caesar wrap, I ended up changing my order to the fish and chips, while my wife had the burger. The food and timing of things was just completely unimpressive. The waitress was nice and we can't fault her for any of that, as all of that was out of her control. Unfortunately wouldn't come back here.

Kim B.

Yelp
Came in with a party of 11. We were seated pretty quickly. Once seated, service was very slow. Had to go to the bar to get another drink, even though there were only a few tables in use. We should have known better, this is a crazy weekend in Tahoe and they should have been packed. The tater tot app was good, but very very small for $16. The spinach artichoke dip was very bland. They completely forgot one entree, the chicken sandwich. So one person just had to sit and wait, once it came out, it was essentially 2 chicken fingers between the bread, the side salad was literally lettuce drenched in ranch. She didn't eat it. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and felt it was inedible. It really looked like dog food. Fries were good. I didn't complain or send it back or ask for a refund, but I did say it wasn't good and the presentation was off putting. Our party spent over 600 and 2 people didn't even eat their dinner. This was our second bad experience and our last.

Yelp
should've read reviews before we came here. Walk d in at noon on a Saturday, place was empty Now I know why

Yelp
Wow this was really bad. Stopped in with several friends. We ordered drinks and the cheaper by the dozen. Took an hour to get our food. Tacos were terrible. Wings decent Tater kegs mediocre Nachos (if you can call them nachos) were one of the worst things I've eaten. Will not be coming back.
google avatar

Harpreet S.

Yelp
We were excited when we walked into this place thinking it's such a cute spot near the lake to grab food, but we were quite disappointed overall. The parking around the restaurant is limited on a busy weekend so sometimes you have to find neighborhood parking, our disappointment started with the host being our waiter, then being our bartender, then being the food runner, and probably even the busboy? With this being a long weekend it was crazy to see him taking care of the entire inside, they had an outdoor back patio... not sure who was serving there but probably him + one other person- so the whole experience was so long and the food wasn't that great. The ahi poke- the color was more on the brown side vs the pink, but thankfully we didn't get sick! The best salad was delicious! The BLT was okay- but the bread was a bit over toasted which made it not that great. Hopefully our experience was one off cause the servers were nice but perhaps a little under prepared for a long weekend.
google avatar

Roy A.

Yelp
Beer and service are the two best things going here. Struggling to figure out what ambiance the new owners would like to create. Is it a sports bar, disco, tavern? Who is your target audience? The food is just okay. Burger came out well done as ordered, but forgot cheese and side plate to share. Side salad looked like it had seen better days. The loaded tots were were decadent, but very heavy. Decent beer selection. No Wi-Fi.
google avatar

Ken F.

Yelp
First off the food was amazingly delicious and it was happy hour to boot. Liz was our server and did a fantastic job of making the experience worth our time. We had Tods' bourbon bites, Tater kegs, and Woods Beignets. So good! Normally they have rooftop seating, but it was a Monday and not busy enough to warrant opening the upstairs. Nice place and great atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here because of the reviews. Atmosphere is great, however the wait was a little long to get our initial drinks and menus. Literally 1 server downstairs with full tables. We were told they were backed up but I'm sure businesses know to hire more on football Sundays. Orders came out .. Chicken noodle soup: no noodles Pork Belly Mac: Smallest serving bowl I have ever seen Rib-eye sandwich: Steak was cold, flavor was yummy, I asked for a side salad (server didn't ask what dressing) and it came drenched in a Asian style dressing mainly tasting of soy sauce. It saturated my pickle and basket of food. I removed the salad and asked for another salad with a side of blue cheese dressing. He brought out a plate of lettuce and again drenched in dressing. I had to eat around it. "Stuffed Tator Tots"- Small and I wouldn't call them stuffed. Disappointing to say the least Wings- 24 piece with Buffalo sauce and it didn't have that much heat. Had to ask for ranch to dip the carrots and celery because it wasn't provided initially. Mediocre even though it was "duck confit". Kids burger- Asked meat and cheese... no cheese and asked to have the cheese brought out. Overall disappointed in the lack of attention to the food being served and overly priced meals with a gratuity tacked on with a party 6 or more. Would not come here again .. well, def not for the food.

Yelp
First time trying the woods but it definitely won't be the last. First thing that stood out to me was the service. I believe my server's name was Mariah and she was awesome. She literally covered the entire floor by herself and was super attentive to everyone and that's no easy feat. Now to the food. I have to admit it was difficult to choose which items to go with because everything sounded so good but I ended up going with the 3 little pigs nachos, duck confit fried chicken wings and the woods burger. Let me give fair warning that the 3 little pigs nachos is enough food for 2 people easily so keep that in mind if you're thinking this is just the typical portion. Not only are the portions huge but they load it with pork belly, bacon and pulled pork so literally every bite is packed with flavor. Also worth mentioning is they have the nachos on happy hour which is easily one of the best deals around. The wings were good and flavorful. I would've preferred them a little crispier but I won't hold that against them because I like my wings damn fried to a burnt crisp. My burger was flavorful and cooked to a perfect medium accompanied by crisp, hot fries. The space is large yet comfy if that's even possible. From my understanding it turns into a pretty lively place on the weekend so that's probably worth checking out. Overall I was thoroughly pleased with my experience and the food was good enough to make me want to double back and try more items. Very solid establishment that's definitely doing things the right way.

Yelp
The vibe is this place is good. They play great music but not so load that you can not have a conversation. The good is good. The Mac & Cheese need a bit of salt and pepper but was smooth and creamy. The service was fast and very friendly.

Kyra N.

Yelp
The owner, Connor, was so kind and amicable. Great views from upstairs patio. Very reasonably priced drinks. Would recommend!!
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
I'm surprised this place isn't busier, the food is really good. For SLT standards, it's pretty consistently good. And there are a few comfort food items that are pretty unique. When the weather is nice and their patio upstairs is open, it's a really nice spot to see the ongoings of Lake Tahoe Blvd (great people watching). I think the service could be better though. Not that it's bad but I'm always surprised when they don't ask me if I want another glass of wine or offer appetizers because they could totally sell me, but they seem to just do their jobs and take the order and drop off food.

Amber W.

Yelp
Beyond disappointed. I had a take out order, I called it in and she said 20 minutes. It took me about 20 minutes to drive there. Once I got there, i stood by the "please wait to be seated sign". There was only one table at the time, and another woman waiting for her take out order. The Burnett waitress would not acknowledge me, after about 7 minutes of patiently waiting, some other people came in and stood behind me. Finally the waitress came over and said take a seat where ever. I said I had a Togo order and I'm not with them, she just said okay. So I continued to stand there and wait. I'm not over exaggerating when I say I waited another 20 minutes before I finally got my food. The other Togo order got hers about the same time, and to say we were both frustrated is an understatement. 47 minutes for a cheeseburger and fish sticks. The Burnett waitress working on July 6th at 2pm needs a reminder on social Etiquette! At least acknowledge your customers and let them know if you need a minute! The blond working was literally doing laps around the other waitress, even tho she had tables outside. Now to the food... first thing, i asked for a side of ranch. Which they gave to me, and they also gave me a side of ketchup...inside the Togo box ...with no lid... it literally was all over my food, same with the fish sticks, had a side of tarter sauce and it was all over the fry's. So of course it was all soggy. After waiting 47 minutes I was hoping my food would at least be hot. I went from the restaurant straight to the car to eat (my husband was driving) and the food was Lukewarm The fish sticks were absolutely terrible, my husband isn't all that picky. Even if it's cold and "alright" tasting he'll still eat it. Not the fish sticks, one bit and the rest went in the trash. To the owner, employees make a place. Please make sure your people have proper etiquette. Simply greeting people as they come in can make a huge difference. Your waitress not acknowledging me for over 7 minutes was enough for me to walk out and not come back. Only reason I didn't is because we were leaving town and didn't have the time to wait again for another place to make my food. Being a restaurant owner in a very high tourist area with a million other places to eat you have to be competitive. P.S (Please for the love of god put lids on the damn sauce cups on Togo orders!!! Sincerely, Every Togo order!!)

Robert M.

Yelp
We will never come here again. When we came here there was one other table who already had their food and we still waited 35 minutes to get ours. Best part was, when we got our order it was wrong and waited another 15 minutes. Zero stars and we don't recommend coming here

Yelp
Service is improving if you sit downstairs!! Love the Linen (gin cucmber cocktail). Had the caeser with salmon on top, the salmon was perfection! our group had the fish tacos, fried chicken and ricotta balls and blat sandwich....fries are still good! I think we have been 4 times now, but this time we took friends from out of town! We have not had a wait time for a table, yet! Improving with timing and our overall time at a table was under an hour!!!!

Yelp
I'm not even sure where to begin. I got there and they brought over menus and I said I was waiting for a person, but they didn't come back to take my drink order until that person arrived which was 15 minutes later. Five other tables got their drink orders before me. I had driven an hour and a half to meet my friend so I was a little on the parched side. When we ordered, we explained that we wanted an order to go so please time that appropriately. Most restaurants will put it in just before they're bringing you the check so that the order is ready to go when you're ready to go and it is hot and not mushy. That's not what happened here. It came with our order and sat there as we ate our dinner and chatted. We eventually had to ask for our bill. The fish tacos were OK. They came with rice, which was absolutely Rice-A-Roni, except it wasn't fully cooked and had crunchy bits in it. On a positive note if you want to watch a game, they have plenty of TVs and a decent selection of beer. I won't be returning.

Yelp
I took my brother here this past Friday with our dad and my son, my brother very excited due to being new to the area trying something fun and he talked how it was always looked busy. When we showed up there was no one there which was ok with us we just figured then we would get great food and customer service..how wrong were we 1st off my brother doesn't drink so he asked what drinks they have and the women snapped at him "we have Pepsi products" then he went on to ask if they have teas or not. She replied " black" then he asked no fresh sweet tea and she said "if you want it sweet put sugar in it". Anyways he ended up asking if they could put strawberry puree in it and she glared at him as of he asked if the world was flat or something. She offered no help with getting a high chair she acted like we bothered her... She has no business being around other people. 2nd we ordered our appetizer brussel sprouts and a sausage and pretzel plate ....The brussel sprouts were RAW I could have made them better without the attitude, the sausage and beer cheese was cold. 3rd my brother ordered the fish tacos and I ordered a medium rare steak. I got my steak and it was overcooked so I asked if they could remake it, the chef came out and tried to tell me that the steak was cooked how I asked except for the one side of the steak after cutting it up to show me the difference of the cook...like wtf didn't even remake it for me. My brother said the fish just tasted like batter with no flavor he didn't want to send it back after witnessing how the chef acted towards me. Not worth the $130 dollar bill, and we tip well because that's the kind of people we are but I will never ever go back to that God awfulness. Don't waste your time unless you wanna deal with a child for a hostess and a know it all chef

Yelp
When seated we got our menus which were dirty, and none of the food was good. We ordered a cocktail I forget the name but the waitress recommended it and it was super good. The customer service is good but overall I probably would not be returning.

Yelp
We stopped here for brunch, but felt reluctant when we discovered it's a bar. Do we really want bar food for brunch? Turned out the answer was, HELL YES. Their pasta dish appealed to me, but my girlfriend was craving gluten-free waffles, not on the menu. We hemmed and hawed a bit, and the owner said they served gluten-free waffles next door. What are the odds? But this created a bit of a logistical problem. He said he knows the owners and would be happy to have it brought over to us. The pasta was ready quickly, but the waffles took a while, so they took the pasta to keep it warm while we waited. Then the waffles came, my pasta came back out, and there we were, each getting exactly the foods we craved. Then I took one bite of that pasta, and I could swear my eyes rolled to the back of my head out of ecstasy. It really was that good.
