I happened to find this little gem by chance.. as soon as I walked in and was greeted I knew this would be a special visit.. everything about it oozed class and excellence..a wonderful dining experience...

We came there by chance as we were driving by and it is a very nice place to visit, quite popular by the business of it, the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing with a feel of luxury. The dishes are prepared carefully and served with a spectacle that adds to the experience. The mix of flavours and ingredients enhance the experience. Staff very friendly and caring, would definitely recommend if in the area.

Phenomenal. Picturesque setting, delicious food and impeccable service. Updating seasonal menu items keep you coming back for more. Well deserved Michelin star. The set course menu is amazing value Highlight: The Fillet of beef, girolle mushroom, tomato and sweetcorn salsa, wet garlic, Woodspeen herb crumb red wine jus, summer truffle salad. Unusual but amazing combo! Will be back!

The atmosphere was warm and elegant, with a beautiful open kitchen that added to the charm. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was crafted with precision, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients and incredible flavors. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us feel truly special. The wine selection was excellent, perfectly complementing our meal. If you’re looking for a refined yet welcoming dining experience in the UK, The Woodspeen is an absolute must-visit! Can’t wait to return.

An amazing treat, fabulous Michelin starred food. We were all very full by the end of the three course meal. The Tarte Tatin was my favourite (no photos as it was so delicious I forgot to take a photo before I dug in!)

Highly recommended. I had lunch with three friends. The food was fabulous, the charming service was attentive yet not intrusive and the nicely spaced, bathed in natural light dining room created a lovely atmosphere. We ate from the lunchtime special menu which changes daily. I had delicious chicken will a glorious sauce and great vegetables. The grounds are delightful with marvelous sculptures. It would be a joy to dine al fresco in the warmer weather. A return event had been planned already.

Delicious Sunday lunch, the only shame was no beer on tap but hardly a show stopper! Food was delicious and tarte tatin dessert a sticky, gooey highlight!

Amazing food and wonderful service. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough! Everything that we ate or drank was fantastic, yet something we had never tasted before. A truly memorable meal in a lovely setting.
