Stayed at the Woodward Building for three nights. Reserved a one bedroom but got upgraded to a two bedroom two bath. The apartment was modern and squeaky clean and bright.
The beds (we tried both) were comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances.
You will not get daily room service, and you will need to dump your trash down the shoot when you leave.
One room bedroom had a small TV, the other had a IPOD boom-box. Free WiFi comes with the room.
The living room had a big screen TV, with comcast, coffee table, couch and chairs, as well as a dining table with chairs.
The building has a 24hr Internet lounge that has a big screen TV and couches, as well as a few computer terminals that are free of cost to use, and where we could print for free too!
There is a very cool roof terrace to hang out on, a fabulous view of the district.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The public transportation was great, the McPherson Metro Station is just a couple blocks away, cabs are in abundance in this part of town, and there is a bus stop at the corner.
The restaurant in the building is called Potenza. It is Italian, easy to use but the food was just okay... I heard the Pizza is good, but I made the mistake to have chicken instead...
The building also has a wine store off the front entrance so we were never without libations!
This was a nice departure from my hotel stays in DC. I would absolutely do it again.
