"Just a two-minute walk from central Jackson, the location of this Old West-style hotel is hard to beat—as is its polished country décor (think cherry red leather couches fastened with brass studs, floor-to-ceiling pine wood wall paneling, and cozy stone fireplaces anchoring the rooms) and the perennially-rotating list of musical acts (both local and big-ticket) that churn through the doors of The Showroom, a venue found inside its Silver Dollar Bar. If you prefer the light of day, take a seat outside the front doors, and tuck into a hearty elk gyro (and some prime Jackson Hole people-watching). Booking the Cowboy Suite is a must-do here: Custom paintings by Western artists Tom Dorr and Lynn Roberts hang on the walls, and a private parlor features a wet bar and swanky oversized leather couches."

A truly royal experience from the moment we booked the hotel until after checkout. Dani treated us like family when booking the hotel and gave us the red carpet treatment. She made sure the room, our tours and overall experience was A+. She even was concerned that we made it back to our final destination ok. We won’t forget her service and warm hospitality. The concierge Tara, was outstanding also as she made sure our excursions were quite satisfactory. She helped us rearrange dates because of weather changes. Both Tara and Dani also suggested restaurants that we would enjoy. Housekeeping was great also as the room was immaculate every day. The charm and history of the hotel were remarkable. Greg was also very efficient as he made sure our luggage didn’t exceed weight maximums for our return flights. We will always remember the amazing hospitality and experience we had at the Wort Hotel. Thank you again for everything!!!

Well I suppose you get what you pay for. While the hotel has western charm, it’s not the nicest I’ve stayed in (given the price tag). The difference is the service. Wow. Everyone there was so helpful. Especially Jane who arranged some incredible outings for us. And the GM. Staff is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Google
On the historical register. Walk into a beautiful lobby with a fantastic stair case. Everywhere in the hotel are beautiful paintings - I love the old gaming hall themes. Bronze statues that I would have liked to put in my suitcase. The entire staff are so nice and always there to help you with finding places to go, restaurants, tours, etc.

We so enjoyed being downtown & loved the hotel. The beds are wonderful. We enjoyed the restaurant & had such a great time. |When ever we’re in Jackson, we will definitely stay at The Wort Hotel. |The art through tour the hotel, bar & restaurant is fabulous. Take time to enjoy the free museum tour!

Google
The Wort is located just a block from the square. You can walk anywhere within just a few minutes. The Wort was super clean and comfortable. The best part for us is there was a humidifier in the room. Being from Florida we definitely needed the added moisture in the air. Highly recommend the Wort

Google
This is for their silver dollar restaurant. I give 5 stars for quality, price and ambiance. You can talk to your spouse without yelling. Had biscuits and gravy with eggs and home fries. Very tasty and price was not outrageous like most other places in Jackson. Our new breakfast spot.

If you want the full-on Jackson Hole western experience, the Wort is The Only place to stay in Jackson. This is a first-class hotel with a fabulous western and historic ambiance. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean as a whistle. The on-site Silver Dollar Bar and Restaurant (live music nightly!) is where the locals go because it's simply lovely. The opulent Silver Dollar Steakhouse is on a par with the best steak and game restaurants Anywhere; the Wyoming hospitality, the Cowboy/Rockies vibe is one-of-a-kind. |Location? This is the closest hotel to Town Square and all the action. You are steps from everything Jackson Hole is all about. Do Not mess with a lesser choice and try to drive in and park (impossible if you're not in the Wort) and see town as a "commuter." You'll simply be out of the mix and you'll regret what could have been. Dani the Manager runs a terrific and enthusiastic staff who are beyond helpful (Mia on the desk, Bestie in the saloon) and full of ideas for you. Stay here, eat here, drink here, dance a little! We'd claw through a pack of wild Grizzlies to stay at the Wort again! MD in AZ

Yelp
Planning ahead. We took a look at this beautiful hotel for our next stay. It was our first visit to Jackson Hole and we wanted to see it for future bookings. Love that it is located in the heart of picturesque Jackson Hole and along with its charming blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort it's a for sure next booking. From the cozy fireplace in the lobby to the welcoming front desk staff -this hotel offers a welcoming vibe. Not to mention-the hotel's proximity to the slopes and local attractions make it the perfect base for exploring all that this mountain town has to offer.

Rhiannon K.

Yelp
Very cute rustic hotel! The staff here are super friendly and make it feel very welcoming. There is a grand staircase right when you walk in that takes you up to their second floor. It has a little seating area beneath a deer head with the rooms on each side. I love that the room keys are physical keeps. My room was nice and cozy. Everything looks pretty clean. I woke up with a sore throat that I thought was from the heater and I didn't use the humidifier that was provided in the closet, but it persisted for a couple days after I left so I figured I got a cold. Could be from anything/anyone but I was playing with that cute little bear since it was so soft and think it must be that cause how would you possibly clean it between guests. Seems kinda obvious but I'll know not to do that next time. Haha. There's the silver dollar restaurant/bar downstairs that's convenient and they have a Happy Hour. The location of this hotel is perfect since it's right downtown so everything is steps away. Only downside is that the elevator is in the far corner of the hotel and there's construction going on. We got lost looking for our room on the second floor after taking it because there were two doors we were supposed to go through but there was no signage indicating that. It would've been much quicker to go up the stairs but I didn't want to carry all my luggage up.

Yelp
Interesting place lots of charm and character. Plenty to look at while you walk down the hallway to your room specially the carved doors. Comfortable bed, clean linens and towels. Very friendly staff at the reception. Restaurant is limited as they are under renovation so don't expect much but they have a full bar and decent sandwiches. It's close to everything and just an overall cute old hotel.

Dustin E.

Yelp
I'm not quite sure how to review this place. It's a wonderful hotel, very clean and a sight to behold. It's a historic hotel, there's lots of interesting pictures on the walls and lots of history to be read and absorbed there. The staff was awesome! The front desk staff was very helpful both before our arrival and after. We stayed in room 211, which overlooks Broadway, the main street in town. The windows are soundproof. Or very tight at least. The air conditioning unit is not. We had to wear earplugs every night in order to get some sleep with all the noise wafting up from the street until all hours of the morning. It's probably best if you ask for a room that is not above Broadway. On the plus side, my wife was able to watch the Independence Day parade right from our window. She loved that. The housekeeping staff was absolutely marvelous! Our room was always spotless, and they provided me with a fan because it got warm in our room, which I very much appreciated. The AC unit was VERY loud! The bed was a big disappointment. It was sunken in the middle. We would try to sleep on the edges, and in the middle of the night we would find ourselves bunched up in the middle due to inertia and the big slope. This mattress clearly should've been replaced years ago. The sign on the bathtub with the directions for the water temperature was exactly backwards. Why? Someone should be paying more attention. The Wort charges a premium price for a room with several issues. Again, the staff is amazing! But you may find a better value and better rest elsewhere.

Charles D.

Yelp
Silver Dollar Bar inside the Wort is a fun place to have dinner and drinks. I will go back soon

Viking B.

Yelp
the worst. my room was directly above the bar band and it was so loud it was vibrating the bed, complained and they said they had no other rooms. on a Tuesday night in April, there web site said they had rooms available . unbelievable . water pressure terrible. will never come back

Rob F.

Yelp
The food really wasn't that great at the restaurant. There are many more places to spend the amount you'll spend here and get better food. The atmosphere was ok, but I suggest you walk around for a bit and I bet you'll find something else much better. It's just not good. The waitress was nice but didn't have a handle on things.

Reed O.

Yelp
Very historic hotel in the heart of the town. However this is an underwhelming hotel for $600+ a night. It compares to many $150 hotels I have stayed in even post pandemic. My issue also include a broken faucet not fixed when requested, carpet is dirty, toilet seat worn out (30+ yrs old?, the AC unit bangs when it turns off & the bathroom fan is about 100Decibals. Basically a very overpriced hotel in a great location. I wish I would have stayed at Spring Hill suite for $150 less a night, new & miles added... oh well

Gina K.

Yelp
Wonderful stay - it's not perfect but it's charming, cozy, fun, convenient and the place to be on weekends. Brought kids to ski and enjoy the town. Can't wait to go back.

Pat E.

Yelp
After many people recommending The Wort Hotel we decided to go and check it out. Well once we walked in we were informed we had less than an hour to enjoy the Silver Dollar Bar, they were having a private party and we needed to order our food in the next 10 minutes. Well we should have taken the hint and left. We ordered a couple of craft beers, they were served nice and cold. Ordered Nachos, Tempura Fried Mushrooms and French Onion Soup. Nachos had been heated up under the broiler guacamole tasted like the store bought pouch, shredded beef was not warm at all, sour cream was a big scoop and the black beans were out of a can and were also cold. Tempura Mushrooms did not look nice at all they looked and taste like they were from the frozen department. French Onion Soup was not nice either tasted like Campbell's the cheese was swiss cheese and not the gruyere as they had stated in the menu. The soup wasn't hot but more like luke warm.

Maureen H.

Yelp
The hotel has a fabulous location as well as extremely friendly and helpful staff. For the price of a stay, the AC is ridiculously LOUD. It was not that warm out when we stayed, but the rooms were muggy. The AC WAS SO LOUD we tried opening a window, but there were noisy fans running outside as well. Not sure how a ch a nice place doesn't upgrade the AC when you're charging these rates.

Shauna C.

Yelp
Location great, awesome restaurant, meaning spacious, western theme without being kitschy. Menu not exciting, basically meat and potatoes. but it is good. Wait staff not much friendly, nor fast. infact last time I was there. (late summer 2021), it took easily 45 mins to get our meals and the waitress was really quite rude. they have live music on the weekends. Fun place to people watch!

Todd H.

Yelp
I'm not normally for the old school hotel... I find they usually lack amenities, but The Wort is the exact opposite. In the heart of downtown is this charming, romantic gem. I've stayed in ALOT of hotels... probably around 200 nights a year and this is right in the top three. First, it's on the National Historic Register... walk inside and you'll feel really cozy and at peace. Sounds corny I know, but it's true, just look at my pictures. Rooms are old school ranch, western... and it couldn't be a better fit. Each rooms has all the amenities... plus some you don't expect... When I woke up in the morning I was like, wow, I wish I had a humidifier... so I look in the closet and there is a humidifier... Umbrella check, Keurig check, fridge check... They also have a great restaurant you'll want to visit. I'm coming back... ASAP... check it out, you won't be disappointed. FIVE STARS!!!!

Katie S.

Yelp
One of our favorite hotels we've stayed at. We stayed in the Shoshone Suite and the decor is so on brand and room is large and beautiful. We were also made to feel right at home - from the front desk staff to the housekeepers to the bartenders downstairs! Everyone has been amazing. Wonderful, quaint hotel, and very well maintained. We left for breakfast, returned at 9am and room was already cleaned. And when we first checked in and went to dinner, room was tidied up when we returned. Impeccable housekeeping. We hope to come back!

Javier L.

Yelp
Yee Haw!! This here hotel was the perfect watering hole where my posse and I could get some great rest as only a cowboy and his girl can! From the beautiful lobby to the awesome pictures everywhere, this historic hotel made me feel like i was in the old west complete with all modern day conveniences! From The large wooden door that needed an actual key to the taxidermy that peppered the foyer, the building exuded all a western movie could offer! The bed was high and comfy and the bath rooms were great! The warmth the staff demonstrated from check in to the restaurant was solid! Although it seemed a steep price, pardner, this western staple was well worth it!

Jim C.

Yelp
The place to stay in Jackson as you can easily walk everywhere in town. You get a real metal key to your room door like the old days. The king bed room was very spacious. Turn down bed service each night accompanied by Silver dollar chocolates. Only negative was noisy AC unit in room. The staff can book any activity for you - trout fishing, white water rafting, hiking, etc. The hotel has two restaurants, the Silver Dollar Grill (avoid) and the Silver Dollar Bar good for drinks, hamburger and live country/western music. Best places to eat - Go to Persaphone for breakfast, Local for happy hour and Snake River Grill for dinner. You will find tourists and locals at each of these places.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
Nice boutique hotel. Love the common areas and fireplace seating on two floors. It's very quaint and traditional. Great ambiance. Upon arrival we were invited to a wine and cheese reception and got to meet the general mgr. Very nice greeting for our arrival. The rooms are nicely appointed although ours was a bit small. The bathroom is tiny. Our second room for our adult kids was a better choice with two queens and a much larger bathroom. The hotel is PERFECTLY located in the heart of town making it easy to walk anywhere in Jackson. They have a great bar with live entertainment that is hopping at night but didn't get to dine in the hotel as we had other plans so I can't review that.

Jess B.

Yelp
Bit of a wait due to a mix up, but well worth the wait. Excellent food, large portions, and strong drinks. Happy hour didn't disappoint. Our bartender was wonderful. Lots of history at this place. Western charm all around. If you get the chance to have Jerry as your bartender, you won't regret it.

Frank W.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with old Western charm in the heart of Jackson Hole. Great restaurant, rooms and lounge. Highly recommended :-)

Sheila Y.

Yelp
I am posting my message to the General Manager as it details the horrors of our trip and to serve as a warning for any prospective guests as there is much better in Jackson. Also, beware as a lot of people and even one staff member we saw are not wearing masks. We had visited the Wort on two other instances in 2016 and 2017 and had a wholly different experience than our last visit from March 15-20. To begin, I sent an inquiry regarding a repeat guest rate as anywhere else we have stayed on more than one occasion always offers typically 20% off their best rate. I received an email from Mr. Zazzaro noting the Wort was offering a rate to us of $199/night. I told him immediately that this was the same rate posted on Tripadvisor with no response noting that he would honor a discount on this rate. Instead he doubled down on stating this was a repeat guest rate. I'm not sure how we are benefiting as a repeat guest with a rate that any other person can get online. After confirming a room for MY HUSBAND and MYSELF, I get a confirmation for the deluxe room. I also received an email about the free Vault tests that were available for guests. I sent an email requesting two tests be available upon our arrival. This gets me to our arrival. We are dropped off in front of the Wort with our bags, including skis. There was not one single person to greet us or help with our bags as two staff walked by as I was struggling to get my bag up the stairs. We go to the front desk after laboring to get our bags in the lobby and the attendant informs us we have a two bed room. I was aghast. I don't know how more clear I needed to be that my husband and I were traveling. I told the attendant that we needed a king bed for the two of us (both restless sleepers) and were offered a room where we would need to pay an additional $50/night. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Not only no accommodation but asking for more money for a mistake made by the hotel. If the confirmation would have said or included two beds, I would have booked somewhere else. There was also absolutely no offer of our Vault tests! And there was never a follow up by anyone apologizing for this! We go to our room (222) and note the right bed was horribly creaky. Seriously I have no idea how anyone could sleep in it. We were stuck for 5 nights in a tiny queen bed for two adults. The terrible experience continues... I was lucky enough to get one reservation at Snake River Grill in the dining room on the 16th at 5:15pm. That day I called and spoke with Sinjin around 12:45pm to confirm that the ski shuttle would pick us up at 4:30pm and received confirmation. At 4:05 we arrived in the shuttle zone waiting....and waiting...and waiting. By 4:32pm I called the Wort to inquire as to whether the shuttle was running late. I was told they would call. A few minutes later I got a call from the shuttle driver saying he was not scheduled and would be 20 minutes out. I could not believe this as we were planning on getting in by 4:50ish to make our tight dinner turn. Instead, my husband was forced to get a real time Uber, which still took 10 minutes. We called the Snake River and they said we could be tardy, but it would cut in to our dinner time as they needed the table by 7:00pm. We did not get to the Work until 5:30pm. We had to run to our room and got to the restaurant by 5:45pm. We were winded, dirty and stressed. We had to rush through the best dinner of our trip in one hour and 15 minutes. It was awful and all because of the issues with the Wort. I spoke with Sinjin and said we were not sure we were going to stay given this awful service. Instead of offering the reimbursement of our cost he told me if we checked out all he could offer was a credit! After ruining our entire trip with the wrong room, no Covid test, no shuttle pick up and guests walking around with no masks. Only after I relayed some of this did he relax this position. The next day we were again promised a shuttle that AGAIN failed to pick us up. Yet again, another $50 Uber ride with no assurance we would be reimbursed, which should have been offered straightaway. Instead we were offered drink coupons for a bar that was stuffed to capacity and breakfast coupons. We wanted a real solution. The following day we connected with the driver because he texted my husband. I was told by Sinjin on Tuesday that there would be a Wort insignia shuttle, which is what I remembered in prior trips. This was a small black car that we unsafely shared with two other passengers. One was barely wearing her mask the whole way with the windows up! I could not believe what I experienced and it was the same the next day! During that trip the gentleman in the front was talking the entire time on the phone barely wearing his mask. This is not a safe environment for guests on any level! I had written this trip off as unfortunate until what happened that I consider to be the needle that broke the camel's back. I was in such poor

Christina W.

Yelp
Perfect location smack dab in the middle of everything. Staff was super obsequious and the room was charming as heck. As this was the only place I've stayed at in Jackson, it is hard to compare other locations with it. However, I highly recommend staying here regardless.

Alon G.

Yelp
From the exceptional customer service to the pleasant interior decor to the great room service food (truly, the breakfast surpassed our expectations), this was my favorite of 3 stays in the Jackson area. There is a historical vibe to the interior with a lot of wood carvings, including on some of the room doors. Our room was huge with cozy beds. If I'm ever back in Jackson, this is 10/10 the hotel I would look forward to staying in.

Randy B.

Yelp
We came into town a little late after driving thru Yellowstone all day and we were starved. We took a look around and found The Wort and we were not disappointed. Very friendly girl waited on us and she had some very good recommendations for food and drinks. The local beer was outstanding along with the elk sliders and bison and elk meat balls. So if you find yourself in Jackson, WY late at night hungry, I suggest you stop in and have a bite.

Tracie T.

Yelp
The food was great the service was exceptional I had a build your own omelette which was very good. The pancakes were great -light fluffy, & nicely flavored -comes with pure maple syrup and butter -real actual genuine butter.

Janette C.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Great at recommendations for new comers. Had a great smoked fish starter. Delicious ! Highly recommend. Dinner was also fantastic. Glasses kept refilled. Priced reasonably. And the locals eat and hang out here :)

David B.

Yelp
Me and my friends stayed for four nights at the Wort Hotel. It is awesome. You've got everything you want here, it is clean, everyone is professional and courteous, and it is accessible to the Square and Teton Village. The historic aspect of the place and the regional charm make it an excellent spot for every discerning hotel goer.

DC B.

Yelp
The Wyoming Dept. of Revenue investigated and informed the hotel to change their policy. They cannot charge a "community surcharge and tax." The hotel is not a taxing authority. Several hotels in Jackson were found to apply this unacceptable fee.

Marta W.

Yelp
Special family occasion, cousin ordered sturgeon $37.00 meal , received 2 bites of fish literally, loud noisy And expensive!!! Ridiculous no more!

Lex P.

Yelp
Upon arrival no one was there to greet us. I had to ask where to park our car because valet was not available. We had to take our own luggage out I get to the front desk and no one is there. I wait for a couple minutes and just stood there until the reception desk came out from the back. I had to get a pet friendly room (115). I signed a waiver and on that waiver it said no smoking. I walk into our room and it smells like cigarettes. I go back to the front desk and wait at the front desk again as no one is at the front to let them know how bad it smells of cigarettes. Front desk comes to the room with me and says "oh yes it does, I can have someone come fabreeze the room". No thanks as I can't stand the smell of fabreez. The AC was SO loud at night. Got zero sleep. It was almost like my room was a room at motel 6 except I paid 800$ a night to stay in a shithole with bad service. Won't return.

Gordon A.

Yelp
The pub is awesome!! Great beer choices. Food is super delicious & affordable. $12 for a Ruben & Potato salad, which was super legit. Also, the live band and swing dancing was fun.

Lori T.

Yelp
This was an awesome place to stay while visiting Jackson. We stayed 4 nights. The absolute BEST location for touring Jackson and visiting the Grand Tetons, and just about 1 hour from Yellowstone NP (accessible from the Grand Tetons NP). Walking distance to everything and the service from the front desk, housekeeping, bell service etc was 5 Star all the way! The building itself is historic, charming, and gorgeous. Our room was very luxurious and the most comfortable bed of any hotel I've stayed at yet. The linens, the furniture, the wall art-all beautiful and welcoming. Great dining on site, and a stunning free art gallery lines all the walls throughout this hotel.

Vickie S.

Yelp
Our waitress was very sweet but.... had to send our drinks back as they were both wrong. Ruben sand was so soggy I just ate the meat. Wrong dressing on the salad. Hubby liked his French dip but I think he was just being kind. He has bragged on this place for years and couldn't wait to take me here.... maybe next time we are in Jackson Hole he will let me pick the restaurant for dinner.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
Stayed here in 2010. Amazing. Would go back and stay next time I am in town. The town is pretty nice and I went in the dead of winter. Was very cosy and close to a lot of places for food.

patty l.

Yelp
I spent two weeks at The Wort hotel last year (9/16) for a special birthday . Loved every minute of it . I spent six weeks in Jackson Hole this year. (2017) I love the bands and dancing there but the food has changed. The chili is mostly ground Elk instead of Elk pieces . Today I ordered the Elk/Bison meatballs. They were the terrible. Very dry with too much BBQ sauce

Lys M.

Yelp
I am very dissatisfied with this hotel and do not recommend it. After researching the hotels in this area, I made an online reservation for two nights over one month before our scheduled visit. I even confirmed the reservation on the phone. I received several emails from the hotel confirming my reservation. Upon arrival, I was told that they had no reservation for me and there was no room for me. When I showed them an email from the hotel confirming the date, the registration clerk confirmed that it was their mistake. She offered to find me a room in another hotel and the hotel would pay for it. She found lodging for lesser cost. She said that other hotels only had suites which would the hotel would not pay. She found a motel, not a hotel, which had two beds instead of one. I decided it would be simpler to get my deposit back and I would pay for the other lodging myself. For some inexplicable reason, they could refund me my deposit without having a reservation. I would hate to think there was another reason I was not welcome at this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel because of the manner that my reservation was handled. The hotel did absolutely nothing to rectify its error. Finding other lodging was something I could have done on my own. I am very dissatisfied and irritated that on my vacation, I had to deal with this. This hotel has an undeserved rating of four stars. Do not rely on online booking with them and do not expect to be treated like one should be treated in a four star hotel.

Tina H.

Yelp
The corn chowder was to die for, but the green BLT was "meh". The decor of the grill was pretty cool and I absolutely loved the mirror in the ladies room.

Melissa M.

Yelp
This place is a gem and a must see when you visit Jackson. Had the most amazing onion soup and a buffalo burger. I went with a big group and the service was very good and fast. Make sure to check out the bar!

Lisa I.

Yelp
I ADORE this hotel. My colleague and I stayed here during a work visit to Jackson Hole. My idea of a perfect hotel is based on how seamless the experience is--check-in was perfect in that it was not memorable (not painful or long), the housekeeping staff was inobtrusive, and the room did not gross me out once! This hotel is so cute, and so...Wyoming? The inside looks like a lodge with natural woods and animal heads, roaring fires, and free afternoon cookies and hot chocolate! Yum! The rooms were very spacious (probably for those bringing ski equipment), there was free wi-fi, and they were very clean. The location is great--"downtown" Jackson Hole, and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason, and I would stay here on my own dime.

Tiffany A.

Yelp
You would be extremely disappointed if you visited Jackson Hole and do not check into The Wort Hotel. It is included in the National Historic Hotel list and is rich in history and extravagance. You will feel pampered beyond belief by the excellent customer service that the entire staff provides. The rooms are emaculate and decorated with the finest quality decor and linens. It's a must see to experience for yourself.

June B.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and comfortable. Centrally located, best staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. Housekeeping twice a day and every amenity in the room you would ever need. We came here to vacation, not work so didn't need the Internet to be fast. Would recommend this place and stay here again!

Alex Y.

Yelp
I was in Jackson for business spending a couple days in town before taking a few days vacation and heading into Teton Village. While in town I stayed at The Wort based on recommendations from my co-workers and clients and I couldn't be happier that I did. The Wort is a historic building and is decked out with an old school charm, while providing all the benefits and amenities of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff is incredibly friendly and very professional. The attached Silver Dollar Bar is a good place to wind down at the end of the day and get a drink, as well as, in my case, to entertain clients. If you're heading to Jackson, or driving through to go to Yellowstone, do yourself a favor spend a couple days in town and stay at The Wort.

Yelp
This is one beautiful cute small rustic hotel inside a historical building! Its not cheap but its all worth for The money. The amenities are very nice. Love the way they put in individual bottle too! A touch of lemongrass sage scent just made me want to wash my hand over and over again (i just love the details that they put into, well afterall this hotel is a luxury hotel in town). The room is small and perfect! We check in around 3pm, droop off our luggages, left for site seeing, came back at 10pm, our bed were made ready for us to sleep in, old trash was all picked up (left with empty clean trash bin), and left 2 silver dollar chocolate coins for finishing touch on the bed! The interior of the room is very lodging and rustic. A cute black bear stayed with you inside the room. Basically you can hug the bear, love the bear BUT you got to leave the bear :) Also, the people is very friendly and they made us feel like at your home. The hotel is located right in the middle of the town and walking distance to restaurant and stores.

Yelp
Did some shopping in Jackson Hole and stopped in for lunch. Very delicious food, wait staff was amazing and the hotel is full of great history. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This hotel was very comfortable and cozy and even with the jackets and hats and scarves the hotel staff always knew us by name. We were bummed we could not get a suite, which is only slightly more expensive, but a much larger room. We really appreciated the sitting areas upstairs and down, especially since one of our kids was sick in bed nearly the entire time. This allowed us to get out of the room but still be near enough to keep checking in on her. The restaurant was great, and also very convenient based on our kid situation. Super walkable to everywhere in town and just one block to the square. We vacillated about staying here or in cabin outside of town and I am so glad that we chose the Wort. It really gave us the town experience and was easy for everyone to get out and about. We even walked to Snow King for a half day of skiing.

Yelp
I have lived in Jackson for 10yrs and the wort hotel is my very favorite breakfast spot! The food is always consistently good, fresh squeezed Orange juice is the best, and the service has never lacked. Luminita is a very sweet and efficient server. I always receive my order accurately and very timely, never wanting or needing anything extra. Breakfast at the wort hotel is what it should be everywhere. A constant and full, hot, cup of coffee. Consistent, hot food that comes out quick and friendly service! To top it all off, the atmosphere represents a piece of the true old west, something that has been greatly lacking in the Jackson community for long while now.

Yelp
Gorgeous lobby, spacious. I ate at the restaurant a few times as a kid and loved. The last time I ate here was in 1985.

Yelp
We were staying in Cody and decided to visit Jackson and stay the night. Found the amazing Wort Hotel and decided to stay 2 nights! This hotel has so much character and class. The staff is fabulous and the restaurant has delicious food! We went to the bar for drinks and entertainment and had a great time, the drinks are so reasonable too! This wonderful hotel offers great rooms. service, food and entertainment.

Yelp
Over all the silver dollar bar and grill was ok. The service was great and the setting was nice. I only had one problem. The potato's were undercooked. But over all it was a good meal

Yelp
Love this historic hotel and it's fabulous central Jackson Hole location. A smidge disappointing that I've asked for four days that the upstairs fireplace be lit and they say they will but have not. Also, supposed to have daily paper left on our doors everyday..not happening. On the plus said rooms are kept very well.

Yelp
Rooms are old. Main areas are historic and attractive but the place is old and does not have the luxury feel of a modern hotel. Front desk and restaurant staff were aloof. Will stay at a different place next time we're in Jackson.
