They do offer an Express Lunch (12–4pm), perfect for busy office days, but this time we went straight for their comforting classics 👀 To start, we shared the Beetroot #Hummus with crispy chickpeas, olive oil & flatbread: super creamy, earthy and genuinely delicious. For the specials of the day: 🐟 Roast #Cod — perfectly cooked & flaky, served with dreamy whipped mash, spinach, capers & brown butter. A winter hug on a plate. 🍔 Classic 7oz #Burger — stacked, juicy, with their secret sauce (SO good), fresh toppings and those skin-on fries you can’t stop eating. The Wren Tavern is definitely one of those City spots you end up wanting to revisit all season long ❤️

Hidden in the cute area of Bow Lane in the City (bank area) is a gem when it comes to pubs. I ate lunch which is a busy time, and yet inside it was peaceful and quiet. Prices are of course London prices but the service is lovely, the music relaxing and the food good pub food.

Had such a lovely time at the bottomless bingo brunch, my table even won an entire bottle of Prosecco! Had amazing service throughout my time at the Wren tavern and great food. Would recommend to anybody looking for a fun afternoon in the heart of the centre! :) Thank you so much for having me.

Located in the city of London, very close to st Paul's cathedral. The pub is nicely decorated and cute. The food was awesome. Poached eggs were perfect. Really filling portion of fish and chips. Drinks were also good.

Classic pub, looks amazing to host all sizes of friend groups! Tried the pie – the gravy was really good, just needed more flavour on the pie itself... but I can see how this place would be buzzing during peak times! 🍻 #Pub #Pie #Food #Friends #GoodTimes

A really lovely addition to the area. A very attractive bar in the style of a traditional pub. Lots of alternative seating (booths, high tables etc.) with a dedicated ground floor dining area. The dark wood and dim lighting creates a cosy atmosphere. The downstairs cocktail bar is equally attractive. A very good selection of keg beers, including some less common options. Also a couple of hand-pulled real ales. I visited just before the after work rush, but it does get very busy. The pedestrianised area out front makes it very popular for fair weather drinkers. I’ll definitely drop by to try the food next time.
