Nice place with a lot of variety. Prices are actually not that bad on drinks. Great happy hour deals. Just sucks it's out in the open so everything gets wet if it rains. (Which in Miami it rains half the year) Food was good from the two food trucks I tried but a bit over priced. 4 stars due to the bad seating area and a lot of flies everywhere because I guess they don't clean the tables often.

Nice concept. Bar is in the middle and the place is surrounded by Taco trucks with a variety of different types of food and drinks. Handcrafted cocktails available too. Some great art on site as well. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and live music. Moderately priced with several local brews on draft. Really big space.

When we visited Miami last week, someone told us we should visit Wynwood Yard for a reggae festival. We had the best time, When we were in the area, we were a little skeptical but once we arrived it was like we found a hidden gem? This place was great! They had live music, drinks, food trucks, other vendors, and kid play areas. It definitely accommodates the whole family. Highly recommend visiting Wynwood Yard when in town!

Almost every food vendor we went too had an item or two that they were out of. We like the concept and the set up just some slight issues with vendors not having items or equipment in the kitchens not working. I get sometimes these things can't be avoided but seems to be an issue with a few of the vendors this weekend. I did appreciate the variety of options from Asian to cuban, poutine and healthy there is definitely something for everyone. Bar staff is ok but that is what you get at most bars in Miami. The drink menus isn't bad either with some tasty concoctions. We went with the our kids enjoying a Saturday afternoon however the sent of marijuana in the air was not great for "family fun".

Very fun area of the art district. Definitely date night, girls night out material. We spent about at least an hour checking out the murals aka 'Wynwood Walls' and the small inside galleries. I was telling my cousin while we were walking around that it was the mother land for instagram lovers! Filled with funky art, it is so easy to get a "cool" pic if you're into that. If you're not it's still a joy to the senses.

This place is amazing. It's very laid back, the music is great, the food trucks make it so you can get just about anything you want. Definitely a great experience.

Google
Great atmosphere and a great place to sample different dishes from the food trucks around the yard. Music was good, the setup was good and there was a nice buzz. The cleanliness could have been slightly better, as I saw a barman standing on the bar in his trainers to update a chalkboard and there were some flies floating around the bar but these are only minor things!

Yelp
Mortar and Pistil is basically a bar in the middle of Wynwood Yard. They didn't "wow" me with their drinks but that's fine; I felt the love that was put into each drink made for me. I had the "Shit I'm Balding" and this drink comes with Jalapeños and I didn't even taste the Jalapeños in it. The drink was not spicy. Again, I felt the love and I basically drink anything so I didn't mind. I'm just trying my best to be honest for the Yelp Review. I really appreciated all the hard work the bartenders were putting into each drink the day of my visit. The cocktails are a bit pricey especially knowing they serve them in a disposable plastic cup. Maybe if it was served in a glass I would see why they're priced at about $13. During my visit there was Cutter Citro Guard Candles all over the place. Wynwood Yard is an outdoor area so they had these candles lit to push nosy mosquitos away (Mortar and Pistil is the bar inside "Wynwood Yard"). They have portable restrooms trailers outside that are air conditioned and maintained very well for vein what they are. I recommend staying away from the non-air conditioned single Friendly Johns (these were pretty nasty). Plenty of shelter around the bar area. If it rains you won't get wet. Lots of cool tables with chairs and comfy sofas you can lounge on. What makes this bar extremely cool is...you don't have to go far for a bite to eat. The bar doesn't serve food but there's plenty of food trucks nearby such as Kuenko and Mr. Bing (ice cream truck). Plenty of off-street parking and I think they have a private lot out back where they have all the portable restrooms. I will definitely come back to this bar to have drinks when I'm in Wynwood Yard.

Yelp
I had an amazing HH (until 7pm) experience at Mortar & Pistil, with $5 well drinks and sassy bartenders who know their stuff. I wish I got our bartender's name, but he mixed us severaaaaal tequila lemonades (and made sure we liked it after tasting it before he moved on to other customers). There were 4 or so bartenders circling the bar, which wasn't packed on the Tuesday night I visited for an event at the Yard, but every stool was taken and there were people milling around, cocktails in hand. They were friendly, quick, and they looked like they enjoyed what they were doing! I can't wait to find myself back in the Yard, with it's plentiful seating and unpretentious crowd of millenials in all sorts of dress - boho Coachella-style fringe shorts to business casual, everyone will fit right in.

Yelp
It's great that wynwood yard has a bar sitting in the middle - it's not so great it happens to be this one. The best thing this bar has going for it is the location. The cocktails in its program are only OK (I've had one or two that are a cut above - but it's definitely hit or miss), but I'd say everything is pretty overpriced for what it is. Aside from the fact that the offer is totally meh, I don't think I've ever once received good service here. Always slow, inattentive, order incorrect, etc. I won't stop from grabbing a drink here when I pay a visit to one of the great food trucks in wynwood yard - but I certainly don't look forward to it.

Yelp
While waiting for a Yelp event to start (Yelp Falls Into Fitness: Sound Off Yoga at the Wynwood Yard, if you're wondering), I decided to have a couple drinks at the bar right inside the Wynwood Yard. Mortar & Pistil is right in the middle. There's a lot of seating and when I got there it wasnt very busy. I was hot and wanted something refreshing. The bartender came up to me, I told him I wasn't sure what I wanted and he told me he would take care of me. All he asked me was my spirit choice. I ended up getting this tasty vodka lemonade with a punch concoction. It was just what I wanted in a drink... refreshing, light, and perfect for the muggy evening. Another bartender (Kevin!) told me they make all of their own syrups and a lot of the bartenders like to experiment at home. He also gave me a great tip, that blueberries and sage go great together. Overall I really liked this place! I thought the drink prices were a bit steep, but you're paying for quality. I think they may have happy hour, but I didn't arrive in time for that. I would love to check it out ASAP. Do yourself a favor and go over to the Wynwood Yard, its so pretty and relaxing. A great vibe and a great place to hang out. There's also a bunch of other small restaurants around there. Just stop at Mortar & Pistil first to start your evening right.

Yelp
People clearly haven't been here enough to review this place if it only has 2 stars. That's laughable. This space is a perfect addition to Wynwood. I visit this place frequently and was sad to see it wasn't reviewed better. This is a great open space with a bar and multiple delicious food trucks within it (most of which are 4 and above). The staff is friendly and makes special takes of different drinks every day (margaritas, mojitos, etc) as well as craft beer from Miami. Overall this is a great space to grab a drink on the way home from work, a first date, or just coming to hangout with friends. A must in Wynwood

Yelp
I was contemplating a Piña Colada but the bartender informed that they had no coconut cream. So we asked if he can make a Mojito and he said yes a very good one, so I ordered a Mojito. Bartender prepared it in front of us and once shaken we saw that he prepared 2 16oz cups full of ice and filled cups with mix that only came up half way (so I told my husband that maybe we are sharing my Mojito since he said it was so good). Bartender did a straw taste and by the look I noticed he was not satisfied but served it anyway. Long story short, he did a trial and error on the same drink various times and made it worse. We were puzzled when we were billed $30.81 because we had ordered only 1 Mojito and a bottle of water. Well bartender had charged 2 mojitos. I had to go back and request the credit.
