I had a great experience at the Yardery. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with their signature yard sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The fries were perfect—not too crisp, just the right texture. Kourtney who attended me was very polite and made the visit even better with a friendly, pleasant conversation. Highly recommend!

Cool and fun hangout spot. Really good food and they have a good selection of beers and various alcohol. The atmosphere is very relaxed and a great family environment as they have a lot of outdoor games and activities for both kids and adults. It was intimidating at first because I didn’t know where to sit and where to go, it’s open seating but you can always find an employee and ask for help, I still gave 5 stars because it’s just a great place overall. Everyone is very kind and helpful so the staff will take care of you and they are very efficient. There is a downstairs bar and upstairs bar, it also has seating all around the property, including upstairs, downstairs and surrounding areas.

This is our third time visiting The Yarderly. This is a great place!! The food is delicious, the vibe is chill! The service is great! It is a fun. place for families. Sandy was our waitress today and she was very attentive to our needs and making sure our experience was a 10+. I highly recommend you try this place.

The Yardery is one of those places that never disappoints. The food is consistently good, the service is always friendly, and everything comes out fast and fresh. They have a good variety of beers on tap. We always go for the Kona Big Wave, which has tons of flavor but a nice lower ABV that makes it easy to enjoy a couple. The Crispy Shrimp is one of my favorite appetizers: perfectly fried, not greasy, with that addictive Yardery Fire Sauce that has a little kick. The Hot Honey Chicken is another winner: hand-dipped buttermilk fried chicken tossed in honey hot sauce and served with a bread and butter pickle. It’s a big portion and crispy all the way through and definitely enough to split. The Crispy Avocado Tacos are a great option even if you're not a vegetarian. Loaded with black beans, cheddar jack, pico, and cilantro ranch. Very unique and surprisingly hearty. The Pulled Pork Sandwich is also excellent, made with house made pulled pork, fried onions, Bama sauce, and slaw on a brioche bun. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We usually go on Saturday afternoons when it’s not too busy. The upstairs seating has a beautiful view overlooking Lake Dora and the Grantham Pointe lighthouse. It’s one of the best lunch spots in town. If I had one suggestion: maybe mix up the music a little. It’s a lot of country, all the time. But other than that, this place is fantastic. Great food, great people, and a great view.

Our first time visit to Yardley. Usually, Mt Dora has an infamous reputation for parking issues. However, The Yardley is adjacent to three parking areas, so no problem. We walked up and sat ourselves, no wait. My wife stepped up and ordered the pulled pork sandwich and optioned the sweet potato fries. I went for the Baja fish trio with regular fries. We also ordered a pair of tropical drinks to go with the warm weather and the outdoor setting. Our food was up in a reasonable time. Everything was as good as it looked. We also ordered the giant pretzel to go. It was good too! Our service was excellent. The only downside was the music was really loud, I understand the layout of the restaurant is entirely outside, but it didn't need to be turned up the drinks are pricey considering everything is served in plastic. Also, more regular fries would have been really nice. Enjoy!

Five Stars -- A Must-Visit Spot in Mount Dora! Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Yardery! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was spot-on -- casual, fun, and full of great energy. The outdoor seating area is beautifully done, and the whole atmosphere just makes you want to kick back and stay a while. Our server, Haley F., was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and had great recommendations. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible -- and we absolutely did. The food? Incredible. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they put real care into their dishes, and it shows in every bite. We're already talking about what we'll try next time. This place is officially going in our regular rotation. Whether you're a local or just passing through Mount Dora, do yourself a favor and make a stop at The Yardery. You won't regret it!

We came here over the weekend for lunch and had a great experience! There were two floors to pick from, and both covered and uncovered seating areas. Upon arriving you are able to pick your seat! The service was quick and prompt! The food did come out quick, but not all at the same time. Not a huge deal but it was a few minutes between each entree being delivered. The food was really tasty and you can tell was made fresh! Everything we ordered came out perfect! One downside was the cutlery, they only offered individually wrapped plastic forks and knives, which not a deal breaker, but even the hot honey chicken was giving that fork a good workout! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely come back! We enjoyed our time at The Yardery!

Went here last spring thought the food was great Tonight not so much Had the three pigs appetizer pork was good but the rolls not so good French fries in the spring were great but now tasted like they were fried with the fish and in the spring I think they were fresh sliced now some bad frozen ore ida is better

We hit up The Yardery on a Saturday night with a crew of six, and it was honestly a great time. Plenty of seating (hallelujah), awesome live music (David Townsley crushed it), and a menu that, while not huge, had solid choices. The buffalo chicken flatbread was the star for sure. The drinks were creative. I loved the Lavender seasonal cocktail, although it was a little too sweet for my taste to order more than one. If you like your drinks flirty and full of personality, that one's for you. Clean bathrooms, good lighting, and a super cute outdoor space with games like cornhole and ping pong. It was packed with families and kiddos running around, so just know it leans very family-friendly. Not a bad thing-just not your quiet wine-bar vibe. Also, big bonus: it's dog friendly! We saw lots of happy pups lounging around like they owned the place. So if your furry friend enjoys live music and snacks dropped by toddlers, they'll love it too. There's both upstairs and downstairs seating, it's beautifully lit at night, and parking was surprisingly easy, with nearby lots available. Our server - Jamie, I think? - was a gem. Friendly, fast, and came through with this handy little tablet that let us split the check by item. No math, no drama. Loved that. All in all, we had a blast. Great food, great energy, and good times. Already planning our next visit!

Let's get the good out of the way. The atmosphere is excellent. It is covered outdoor seating (think giant porch) in downtown Mount Dora. It is just up the hill from the lake so you get a nice breeze. They have corn hole and a ping pong table. It is very cute. The servers were very nice although clearly overwhelmed. I do believe this will solve itself once they have been open for a bit and get into the groove. The food was mediocre and took a very long time to get. I am sure once they have been open for a bit the timing will get worked out. What really drove down the rating was the amount of feathers that were still attached to the wings. I am well aware of where they come from but I would like all the plucking to be done before I get the wings. We removed at least 5 separate feathers. It will be a while before I go back.

My first visit to The Yardery was really great! It had been raining and the upstairs was closed off (not sure if the two were related or if just staffing; private dining; etc) so we sat downstairs at a high top. Brandon was quick with welcoming us and giving some recommendations on the menu. I got the Mount Dora Sunset and it was delicious. Perfectly balanced! I ordered the wings as my meal and my partner chose the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was enjoyed and the wings were ok. They were meaty, but a bit dry when I bit in to them. The cardinal sin of not having blue cheese dressing for wings was a disappointment, however these wings are not hot by any means and I will say their ranch was tasty. Hand-cut fries were delicious. Based off of this experience my review would be 4 stars. I enjoyed this visit so much much I came back a week later on a day off for lunch with my bestie. This visit was not like last time. (Which is a good reminder of why I usually wait until I've tried somewhere more than once before reviewing.) We sat upstairs and it was fairly busy (at least compared to the last visit) with 3 other tables eating and a handful of folks seated at the bar. I was very excited to get another Mount Dora Sunset and my gf ordered a margarita. First thing I noticed is that the drink looked very different from last time and the flavor was definitely different too. Same ingredients but maybe the measurements weren't the same? It wasn't awful, and I wasn't going to waste the rum so down the hatch it went! I got a buffalo chicken flat bread and my gf got the Baja fish tacos with the twisted street corn side. The flat bread was good, a little crisper would have been better so I'll remember that for next time I go. My friend said the tacos were good, a little sweeter than expected, but good and the street corn was devoured. Service was where this visit fell short. I don't think it was to blame on our server but more so on the set up. I haven't been here on a hopping weekend but I can't imagine it would run smoothly. It seems they have the bartenders doubling duty as the servers which as you can imagine is stretching them thin. Again, maybe they are better staffed at the busiest times, but we encountered 2 people to take orders, make drinks, run food, clear dishes, etc. and it didn't give the level of service you'd want or expect. I asked for a side of ranch dressing that showed up as I was ready for a box for my leftovers. And a refill that I had given up on happening just after. Again, I don't blame the staff on this, but it seems they may need to either increase staffing or find a better system. I'll be back for sure and will update if that visit changes my rating.

So glad for this new opening in Mt Dora! It's definitely more spacious than the Sanford location. Great smoked meat, tons of room, and located right in the heart of downtown Mt Dora. There are games to keep kids occupied, which is great. Servers are friendly and helpful. You can choose to sit downstairs or upstairs. Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm.

Our waitress Courtney was great, sweet and quick service. Burger was yummy, pulled pork sandwich was good a little soggy, Caesar wrap was good but more creamy than Caesar-y, mac & cheese was very yummy large portion, wings were unique and yummy. Drinks were good reasonably priced. Brussels we're good. House made ranch is AMAZING. Playing upbeat country music full bar lots on top good vibes good staff decent food. The second floor has a good view .

A welcome addition to the Mount Dora dining scene. If you have kids that you want to let run around and burn energy while you get a drink and burger, this is your place. No kids? Then go upstairs to the lounge and dine topside. Great service when we were there. A little steep price-wise but that seems to be the case everywhere. Thanks!

This is a great gathering place with plenty of tables. All open air, some covered, some not. 2-levels of bars and seating. They had loud country music playing and full bars. Small food menu but their wings won the best appetizer of Mt Dora in 2025! I had a pretzel and Parmesan wings. The pretzel was amazing. The wings were a bit hot for Parmesan. I can't eat spicy food, which is why I ordered the Parmesan. Service started a bit slow but it turned around and Courtney was great. We will be back

We love the Yardery so much! My family and I used to frequent their location in SANFORD. We are stoked that one has opened up near us in Mount Dora. The service the food and the drinks are all amazing. The vibes are immaculate... Easy walk from the boat ramp to the yardery so we stopped in for lunch on any given boat day. Would recommend the artery to anyone in the mount Dora area.

This place is super cute. There's not a lot of parking because it's in the middle of Mount Dora, but there is a small parking lot across the street. I don't know if there's inside seating, but they have plenty of umbrellas and a covered awning area by the bar with plenty of seating and fans running. They have games on a lawn where kids can play, and you can bring your dogs! They even offer a dog menu & provide water for your pup!

Burger 8.8. Buffalo chicken flatbread 8.4. Great service and vibe. 100% will be back.

This place is so cute! It has a great outdoor area with a patio upstairs as well. The bottom patio is covered - we went when it was raining. They have a fun drink and food menu with lots of options. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. Will have to go back when the weather is nicer!

Great spot! The Yardery has an awesome vibe -- perfect for hanging out with friends. Tried one of their beers on tap (super crisp!) and the smash burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The yardery is also VERY dog friendly!! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill place with good food and drinks.

I would give this place a four star. It was a one star today then they provided good service to bump up to four stars. The menu is a bit Pricey. service providers were standing and with one another and not dealing with the seats or tables. I had to yell numerous times to get a waiter or waitress here at my table. This is my first time here and will be my last. They have outdoor service only which sucks. I would expect with the food prices as they are, you would get better service. They did get better once I complained. But it should not have to come to that.

My family and I went here & loved it! Food was excellent and the service was nice. It's family friendly- a great place to go with kids (which is awesome). The vibe of the whole restaurant was great. Mt. Dora needed something like this. We will be back soon!

Attended a planned event at The Yardery 9/27/25. The service was surprisingly good, given the crowd, and I loved my mule -- tasty and refreshing! Other drinks served nearby did not receive the same raves. What I did not realize is that the ENTIRE restaurant is outdoors, with no inside seating for table service, and half of the downstairs area is set up as a type of playground (so you may get an occasional stray ball or child visiting). The food service was odd -- this particular event was a reunion, with people who had not seen one another for decades and others (like me) who didn't know anyone, yet finger food appetizers (wings and flatbread) had been served family-style and completely picked over by the time we arrived, maybe 30 minutes after the start of the event. Needless to say, we did not try them. The buffet offered was also hot and mostly fried foods, which did not appeal while sitting in the hot sun, so we passed on those as well. Our choice -- but a caution that if you appreciate a temp of less than 90* while eating or socializing, you may want to time your visit accordingly.

My friends and I just happened upon this eatery when heading for the Cat Boats. OMG what a wonderful surprise. The food was fabulous and our server Luciano (I hope that was his name) was great. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was popping with flavor and freshness. The smoked chicken had just a kiss of smokiness and the Buffalo sauce was tangy and mild. A pleasant surprise indeed. What I really want to talk about though, is the FRIES! OMG please, please don't stop making those fries! Luciano said they were a new addition, and whoever made the decision to use this particular brand of fries, BRAVO to you! The fries were possibly the best fries I have had to date. I am persnickety about fries, especially since these days, they seem to be an after thought. I have eaten fries as far away as Brussels to Texas. These fries are what fries were meant to be! Crispy, and I mean crispy on the outside, and creamy potato goodness on the inside. Ladies and Gentlemen I recommend you run, not walk, to The Yardery and get yourself some fries! They are life altering!

In Mount Dora, we tried it out and it was wonderful everything about this place was great the food to drink the people that work there and the ambience we will return again and I recommend this eatery to anyone

Had the most amazing service, food and ambiance last night here at the Yardery. Haley was our server she was very attentive, personable & helpful. I loved that this place encourages you to "play" we will definitely be back!

Great service, great popular music! Sat at the bar for a solo lunch and just enjoy the ambiance. It's seat yourself and they have cornhole and ping pong you can play. Ordered the hot chicken and thought it was great crunch, spice and pickle that all balanced out nicely while enjoying some Palomas.

Went here for Happy Hour. Had wings and a draft beer. Food, service and atmosphere were great.

First time trying this place and my boyfriend and i loved it! Both of our meals were really good. The service was amazing and very friendly (I wish i remembered her name!) Only thing that in my opinion could've been better was both meals coming out at the same time. My boyfriend got his first and I had to wait about 5 minutes longer for mine. But overall really good! Also forgot to mention they have a rewards system where every dollar u spend u get points, and can earn discounts/perks the more points you get. Definitely will go back.

Wings were amazing and so was the service. Our server, Tatiana was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! The chicken sandwich was a bit overcooked and could use another topping like coleslaw. However the cucumber tomato salad was delicious and the portion for the price was very fair. Cool location with plenty of spread out seating.

Definitely coming again! Everything was great. Yes, it's really busy (they just opened). Yes, it was a bit before we found a seat (ho, there's a lot of seating!). However the staff did a great job checking on us and was accommodating. Food and drinks were amazing. We came with our 18 month old toddler and stood about 2 hours. It's the place to go, especially when you have little kiddos. Live music was also a great plus.

This all-outside dining place is different. It's like eating in your backyard complete with group games. Casual vibe and menu, their Yardery Burger and coleslaw was delicious. This place is perfect for families who need space for their little ones to move around.

Good food, good service and great outdoor space. Highly recommend them, come try. Good lunch stop.
