This spot has always been a go-to spot for us. Great place for dinner located in a beautiful setting right across the street from the Delaware River. The place has a nice balance being located in a historic building with tasteful modern decor. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and helpful. They always have a good menu and mix it up regularly to keep it fresh. They have good entrees as well as salads and sandwiches. There’s something for everyone!

We stopped in for a nice lunch date, the food was really good. The place was nice and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Did not take us long to get seated and get our food as well. My bf got a chicken burger and I got the salmon entree. Both were delicious 🤤 my most favorite was dessert! Which was the dark chocolate flourless cake 🍰 which was EXTREMELY good for my sweet tooth! The decor was so pretty and the scenery where we sat was so peaceful and perfect view of river 😍

We came today for afternoon tea. Everything was AMAZING. We all agreed it was probably the best afternoon tea we’d been to. Great selections and the food was incredible. You will not leave hungry!! My family and I will definitely be back.

This kid friendly american restaurant in Yardley is a must see. They have dedicated parking. Great menu that isn't overwhelming. The portions are large, so it's a good value. Crab bisque was remarkable. I highly recommend it. It has some Cajun heat. Burger was properly cooked and flavorful. Fries were very good. A little sweet like kettle cooked style. Can't go wrong with steak, although I'd take my gravy on the side next time. Desserts were good. Cocktail good. Can't go wrong.

We had my daughter’s baby shower in the East room with the veranda. It was such a beautiful event. The staff was wonderful and took such great care of everything. The food was so delicious. We had lemon chicken, grilled flat iron steak, vodka rigatoni, roasted potatoes, margarita salad and chocolate mousse for desert. Everyone commented on how good the food was. I highly recommend having your event here. You will be happy you did!

We had lunch here back in mid March. The Cod with mashed potatoes in mushroom butter sauce special was the best fish dish I've ever eaten. Please add it to the regular menu!

I was visiting my brother in Yardley and we came here for lunch. Everything was so nice from our server, Napoleon, to our delicious hot food, to the very nice decor. Definitely would recommend this place.

Google
Celebrated my wife's birthday. The Yardley Inn has a great shrimp cocktail with avocado and the filet mignon is cooked perfectly. A nice place with great staff and the food is great. They also have a weekly special of 3 course meal for $36. Not too bad.

Yelp
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at the Yardley Inn! We were greeted with complimentary champagne and enjoyed our delicious meal on their lovely patio with impeccable service. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
"Thank you Ben" we all say in unison (Ben was so incredibly kind, efficient, and caring, going out of the way to make my grandma feel young again, teasing about carding her, and sharing smiles and laughs with everyone!!)

Yelp
This was my first time at Yardley Inn and it was a due to a recommendation from my fiancé. Her favorite spa is in Yardley so my aunt and I took a ride up with her and stopped in for lunch while she was at an appointment. We couldn't find it on their website but brunch is only on Sundays (we heard a couple of other guests ask about brunch while we were there too). We arrived to a packed parking lot and a very busy looking Inn. It appeared they had some kind of shower or event in a private room and there were plenty of available seats in the bar area. We were seated by the windows looking out over the Delaware river. We started with a coke and an iced tea (too early for drinks and we had a long drive home). Our server was great. He was very friendly, made decisive/confident (and great) recommendations, and had a really good memory. My aunt started with a cheesesteak with shaved ribeye and said she never had a cheesesteak like that before. She said the steak melted in her mouth. I ordered a burger per our server's recommendation and was very pleased with my decision. The patty was big and juicy, the bun was soft and buttery, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Very solid burger in my opinion. We also both loved the French fries and it was clear they were hand cut in house. Prior to ordering I asked about the chicken cutlet sandwich for my fiancé and told our server we'd be placing a to-go order for my fiancé. As our food came out our server asked if we'd like to put in the order for the chicken cutlet sandwich. I thought that showed he was actively listening and attentive. Along with that he was very appreciative, personable, and professional. My fiancé also thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich and fries. While we have a long drive to the Yardley Inn, I'm sure I'll be back again. Next time I take the ride with my fiancé for another one of her spa days, I'll make sure to stop back in and try something else off their menu since our experience was so positive.

Yelp
I enjoyed an absolutely delicious and probably the most perfect quiche ever today. it was the quiche of the day which was spinach and tomato. It came with fruit and a lovely salad.. Great service ! we sat by the fireplace and it was really cute!! There is a big look like a bridal party there today in the area we usually eat. I had a lovely meal and I look forward to coming again !!

Yelp
Our first visit to the Yardley Inn was just fantastic! The welcoming atmosphere, brimming with warmth and old-world charm, makes it an ideal spot for dining and special occasions. The ambiance, service, and food were all excellent, creating a memorable experience. We visited on a weekend when the place was bustling with activity (including a Bridal Shower!). Complimentary bread, sweet and delicious, greeted us upon arrival. The Arancini was outstanding, the Brussel Sprouts were crisp and flavorful, the Chicken Piccata was perfectly cooked, and the Rigatoni Ala Vodka was delectable. While the Chicken Cutlet Sandwich was good, the cheese was a bit too strong for our taste. The fries on the side were fantastic. To accompany the great food, we ordered several drinks, including the New Fashioned, Swan Song, Tuscan Vista, and the Cancun Cooler. We enjoyed all of them! We finished our meal with a perfectly brewed Cappuccino. Our server was incredibly hospitable and polite, contributing significantly to a special experience.

Yelp
This is a great and charming tavern in the quaint town of Yardley. I've been here before because my friend loves it. Today my good friend and I sat at the bar around two and had a great lunch. Spent over two hours. Excellent cheesesteaks and fries. A nice cocktail by the super friendly woman bartender who has an afternoon shift and loves her job. Pretty views of the Delaware and you can't get a nicer tavern feel. We were too busy gabbing the whole time! Enough lunch left over to be my dinner. Cheers.

Yelp
Yardley Inn has been a staple restaurant in the area for a while. I feel like the chef has changed. The food lacks proper seasoning and is overpriced at this point. Not worth it with so many other good restaurants in the area.

Hilary L.

Yelp
It was my father's 85th birthday and we reserved a table for 8. Right before we arrived, the Inn called and asked if we would like a private room and I said YES. It was unexpected but very pleasant and great to have this service. Location is right on the river with a view. We had 3 appetizers which included the cheese board, Cornmeal Fried Calamari, and chicken wings. For the entrée, my husband had the Braised Short Ribs, one of my brothers and I had the Greek Whole Roasted Branzino, and some of the family had the Seafood Lasagna and crabcakes. The service was excellent, and food was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would recommend this place to others and would return.

Yelp
Beautiful charming and historic place on the Delaware river. Hanger steak and Caesar salad with steak were both described as excellent. The cheesesteak I got was outstanding and one of the best I've had from a quality standpoint. The meat was tasty and appeared to be of higher quality than your typical steak/ pizza place. There was no gristle and meat was tender. Good ratio of cheese mixed in all on a fresh roll that supported it all well. The fries that accompanied were also very good. Key lime pie with a really thick graham cracker crust was delicious. This was a strong 4.5 but gets a 5 because of the beautiful view of the river

Yelp
I booked a reservation for 5 over a week ago. I confirmed via email. Three days later I received a text to confirm, I did. My reservation was for Monday 9-16. Sunday night I received a phone call to confirm my reservation (just after 8pm), I asked why the other confirmations were not noted and received an apology for the late call, last words were we will see you tomorrow. I received on phone call Monday morning approximately 10 am stating they would not be open that evening and my reservation was cancelled. It was stated the work being done to the inn had not been completed. I asked if they realized how inconvenient this was and that their lack of planning greatly impacted my planned event. Weak apology was given. I will not shoot the messenger nor will I ever give them my business again, this was a total blunder on their end and is very poor customer service. FYI, my family runs two restaurants in Ct, I worked them most of my early life and can expertly say this is not the way to run this type of business. With a weeks notice to cancel on the day of the event is unforgivable.

Andres C.

Yelp
They penalize their customers with a 3.5% service fee to use a credit card. Another place we are not returning!!!

lea s.

Yelp
I always got the calamari, well this time it came without the sauce, and was just told that it was changed, unfortunately that wasn't the only change, if you are in the mood for calamari, don't get them here, now it is about 1/3 calamari and 2/3 of fried/ cornbread hot and mild peppers, in disguise as calamari, and they are just nasty. As a regular customer I'm disappointed and will not not come back for more

Meredith M.

Yelp
Why Fix what's not broke? Drove over an hour looking forward to getting the Roasted Griggstown Chicken Salad. It has been a staple on their menu for YEARS! If they wanted a Greek salad...just add one. Don't do a bait & switch by keeping the Griggstown name but turning it into a completely different salad.

Yelp
Yardley Inn is back on track and we are so happy! Great bar-lotsa fun and very friendly atmosphere with bar patrons! Exceptional site right on river with awesome terrace areas. Food is once again delicious, unique and generous. Still well priced! I love you once again.

M. B.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. The staff is highly professional and friendly. It was a nice evening.

Donny I.

Yelp
Really cool ambiance and vibe. Service was decent. Food was good. Halibut was cooked perfectly but under seasoned. Oysters were excellent. The burger was ordered medium but came out well done. Was still enjoyable. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back!

Theresa P.

Yelp
Met my friend here for lunch today. I ordered the Chicken cutlet sandwich. I asked the server to hold the pesto. The chicken on the sandwich was so dry and burnt to a crisp around the edges. It obviously was cooked in a deep fryer with overused oil. And they left the pesto on the sandwich. Ricotta cheesecake was the best part of a $44 lunch, no appetizers or alcoholic beverages included.

Yelp
It's been quite a while since we've been back to the Yardley Inn and tonight it absolutely was a grand slam home run. Exactly the way in an evening out should be, especially when you're spending good money. My wife and I dined out with another couple this evening we came in early so we can have some enjoyable time before they got crowded and just relax which we did. Our server was very helpful very respectful overall the food was incredible beautiful plate presentations, and we all left Happy and fulfilled in our bellies. My wife and I start off by sharing the Springberry salad which was arugula mix greens with goat cheese spiced almonds white honey balsamic dressing it was absolutely delicious. For my entrée I had the Farro island salmon which was served with roasted baby carrots, sautéed spinach, cherry tomatoes, and a passionfruit butter sauce; it was fabulous. The husband of the second couple had the same and was equally as pleased. My wife had to handmade Ricotta Cavatelli- Beef and pork Bolognese and it actually was really tasty. It's refreshing to know that we have Yardley and in our backyard and we're looking for that exceptional meal with exceptional service and a fun night out.

Trisha G.

Yelp
My friends and I came here to enjoy lunch together. I ordered the Taco du jour, but in my opinion it wasn't worth the $19. Nothing was really seasoned, including the guacamole. The tacos were also pretty dry and overall had nothing special to it. It was your standard taco. My friend also ordered the cheesesteak and asked for no onions but they put onions anyway. My other friend had the salmon but also claimed it wasn't anything remarkable. The service was great, however, and we loved the warmth of the restaurant.

Dave W.

Yelp
Long awaited dinner with my brothers and our wives and it was great. The menu was varied and our server, Nicole was charming and informative. We shared and order of the Fried Cauliflower (Orange Miso glaze, Wasabi Aioli and Everything seasoning) and it was terrific. Certainly something different. One brother chose the Crab Bisque. Entrees consisted of a Berkshire Pork Chop (Alabama White BBQ Sauce!) that was cooked to perfection, New York Strip Steak that must have been good because the plate was wiped clean, two orders of Faroe Island Salmon, Herb Crusted Halibut and a Shaved Ribeye Cheesesteak. Our meals were delivered piping hot and plated nicely. The wine list is nice and we chose a bottle of the Daou Cabernet (Paso Robles). The Inn has a full bar and their specialty drinks looked interesting. Desserts consisted of Flourless Chocolate Cake (decadence +++), Cassis Cake with two different flavors of mousse and Tiramisu. All in all a great dinner in a comforting facility. Our only complaint was the noise level in the dining room.

Michael M.

Yelp
So here we are at the Yardley Inn, and upon entering we're struck at how charming a place it is. We're seated in an atrium area with a view of the river. Really idillic it's a bit after 3PM so we have the place to ourselves! We order a bottle of Bordeaux. Chateau de Parenchere. A nice full bodied French red. Wonderful! We've started with tab bisque soup. Wow. The roasted Bruxelles sprouts are savory in a wonderful sauce. The main course is Yardley burger, red onions, roasted tomatoes, cheese and cut fries The food is thoroughly good. What a nice find! Highly recommend

Lis F.

Yelp
Lovely setting and the food was truly delicious. John was our server and did a great job!

Zoya K.

Yelp
What a lovely place. The service was excellent, and the food delicious. We ordered the shrimp cocktail (they serve it by the amount of shrimp you want), with 4 very large shrimp. I had the lemon chicken which was very well made, and my friend had a salad. It was nice, not the best. For dessert we both had their crème brûlée. Very good. Creamy, rich and a pure delight. I'll definitely be going there again The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the salad wasn't great and the place was a little dark inside even at midday

Mary S.

Yelp
We sat at the bar only. Terrible service...I guess if you aren't a regular, they don't pay much attention to you. Literally skipped over us and our empty drinks. Appetizers were so-so. We left since we were being ignored.

Chris P.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a couple of years. Food was very good. Our waiter, Keith P., was a whole other story! He was quite rude. We were a group of 9. He was surly, practically threw our plates at us! We only gave an 18% tip and that was being gracious. Plenty of other restaurants we can spend our money at! He needs an attitude adjustment pronto!

Danielle D.

Yelp
Went here last night and was very disappointed. Placed an order of French fries for my toddler when we placed the drink order so they would come out sooner. Server forgot to put them in so they got placed with our appetizers. We waited 50 minutes for our appetizers and had to ask a bus boy for them as our server disappeared. We got the fried broccoli special as an appetizer, it had cinnamon sugar on it. I don't remember reading it had cinnamon on broccoli, maybe someone grabbed the wrong spice to garnish? I ordered the garlic crusted strip steak medium rare. It tasted nothing like garlic and was cooked medium well. At $42 this is not something to mess up. I ordered a dirty martini, and it was not dirty at all, was almost sweet. We didn't complain to the server because we never saw her and we also didn't want to wait anymore than we already had. We go here everywhere after seeing the Peddlers Village lights. Was an expensive, disappointing end to our evening.

Harry G.

Yelp
We've been here a number of times since moving to the area last year. The food is generally good - we've enjoyed the burrata and the branzino many times. The flourless chocolate cake is one of my favorite desserts (hint: if you've ever complained about food being "too rich" then this is not for you!) Yesterday's visit finally motivated me to leave this review. Yes, we got our favorites and enjoyed them (and also the turkey sandwich, which was surprisingly good as well). We also brought our 2-year-old this time. We don't eat out with him too often because we're always self conscious of being "those people." But the staff was just incredibly nice and accommodating. They brought him some fruit shortly after we sat down to keep him busy -- without asking and without charge -- and brought his meal out quickly. They paid him a ton of attention -- as did the other patrons -- and he had a terrific time. A memorable experience for us for sure, and we look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
As a frequent patron of The Yardley Inn, I have to say that the bar tenders are top-notch. They are attentive, friendly, and always make sure your drink is exactly how you like it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. However, my recent experience with the manager, Michelle, left a sour taste in my mouth. I witnessed her handle a situation with in which I was a part of a nd had been coming to the bar weekly for years, and were suddenly treated as second-class citizens because of our age and how we dressed compared to the people she felt were more her age. Michelle refused to hear out anything we said as the other clientele was beyond disrespectful and putting their hands on my partner and cameras will show it,it was clear she only wanted to hear one side as she then sat the patrons and probably comped their meals while we were asked to leave. It did not matter that she was told we were regulars and had always behaved well and respectful and never caused any issues, she refused to listen and insisted that we leave. This was incredibly unfair, as I have seen patrons who dress in a more upscale manner behave just as poorly or worse than us, It was clear that Michelle was not interested in being fair and was only interested in catering to a certain type of clientele. I also understand from wait staff she treats employees as beneath her. It showed that day for sure. I I was disappointed by this behavior from the manager, as I had always enjoyed coming to Yardley Inn but I will not in the future. Her refusal to not only listen, but also had not followed up to my request for an update since she informed me she would be checking into things the following day and still nothing. I hope that Michelle and owners takes the time to reconsider her actions and remembers that all patrons deserve to be treated with respect and heard from, regardless of how they are dressed and that in this case catering to the people that instigated this horrible situation deserved similar punishment and not treated like royalty that they truly were not, considering the words they used and physical manor they used on my partner to start the altercation. the cameras they have at the bar will clearly show that the other clientele started it by physically touching her and saying horrible things to her and then acting shocked when there was a reaction. I hope these one time customers were worth knowing how you treat regulars and will not return.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed. There was a crowd (reservations and walk ins) when the restaurant opened at 11:30 on Saturday. All of us were just milling around until the hostess wandered up with a surprised look on her face. she seemed like she had no idea why any of us were there, despite reservations, and was frankly very unwelcoming! Everyone ended up seated at the same time, reservation or not. Our server was very friendly, but the food was lack luster. $15 for a small cup of crab bisque. I was shocked at how small it was, especially for the price. Small, crumbly muffins were provided for the table. They tasted good but fell apart. I had the pick-3 appetizers - Brussels sprouts, baked feta, stuffed jalapeños. Bread with the baked feta was soggy and it was bland overall. Stuffed jalapeños were Applebees quality. Brussels sprouts were the stand out. Other diners had cod (fish was good but sides were unimpressive), chicken salad, and quiche. It was all just ok. Nothing was good enough to prompt a second visit.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Nice spot hidden along the river in Yardley. Great for families. Parking is easy with complementary valet. Service was fast and easy. Lemon chicken was OK but the crab ravioli really stole the show. Fantastic cheese / sauce balance and quality crab meat. The burrata app was also fantastic

Siva R.

Yelp
We were so excited to go here after seeing the rating. The only think I frankly enjoyed here the glass of water. We ordered devils egg, rice balls, pork belly and octopus, branzino. All vegetables in the food were not fresh and no flavor at all. I don't think we are going back here. Service is friendly. Ambiance is cozy and classy.

Charlie P.

Yelp
The place is really nice on the river, old building, a lot of charm. The drinks and beer selection is good. The staff are friendly and laid back (i.e. nice slower paced service, I didn't feel rushed.). The food was mixed reviews. The apps were pretty good, we had calimari and a Mediterranean board which was good. We ordered a duck special for an entree which was inedible due to the overpowering amount of salt. We also had a pasta dish with mussels and sausage which was mediocre. Not sure it was worth the price. If I ever go back I'd stick to pub grub like burgers etc.

Paul M.

Yelp
This is a place you want to like. Nice staff. Nice location. The down side is the food. 8oz filet was on the menu for me tonight and it had no flavor at all and was over cooked. The wives meal was similar. She had a pasta with mushrooms. Tasted just like butter nothing else. I guess If you like bland food it's fine. I for one wanted something tasteful and unique. Still not a bad place, just not quite worth the spend. Better places in town or in New Town. The location and view of the river is very nice though!

Linda C.

Yelp
Great food, love the Cheese Steak, calamari, Yardley burger and deviled eggs. Yardley Inn is a favorite!

Shonti T.

Yelp
Visited Yardley Inn on a dinner date with my wife after work on a pleasant Thursday afternoon. We sat under the tent out back. It's a nice space. You can see the Delaware River, and although your sandwiches between River Road and the parking lot, there is still plenty of green canopy on a nice spring day. We ordered margaritas. They were too strong for my wife and had to hand it off to me. Had a shrimp cocktail for appetizer. The shrimp tasted fresh and was nicely prepared with a side of jicama, avocado, and balsamic. At a cost of $4/shrimp it wasn't amazing enough to get again though. She got the filet, with potatoes a gratin and spinach. Steak was tender and cooked the way she asked. Potatoes were flavorful and crisp, spinach was good as well. I had goat cheese and herb ravioli. Waitress told me the pasta is made in house and I don't doubt her. The pasta and sauce was really good and fresh. The filling kinda tasted like the herb infused chèvre you can purchase at the supermarket. It was still really good though. For dessert wifey got the flamboirsue (sp?). I got the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Can't go wrong with processed sugar, but it was nothing to write home about. Service was good. A little on the spendy aside, especially $4 a shrimp. I find that a little unnecessary. Four stars!

William B.

Yelp
This is one of the best if not the best Restaurants in Bucks County great service and atmosphere and the food will definitely never disappoint plus all food is grown and purchased locally.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Not only did the excellent (absolutely delicious) food come quickly, and not only was the restaurant very clean and beautiful, but our server, Ben (I believe that was his name,) went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Ben was extremely kind and helpful, helping a handicapped friend scoot their chair forward as well as bringing an extra spoon for people who initially shrugged off an ice cream dessert. Other servers were also incredible during our meal, as they also offered to help the handicapped friend stand from their chair or move about. Overall, I highly recommend the Yardley Inn; our experience was next to perfect, after all.

Vivian K.

Yelp
Love the food. Brussels sprouts are sooo amazing. Frank is the best bartender. Cozy place on a cold evening!

Kathryn M.

Yelp
Sometimes it's just nice to eat local. I enjoy sitting where I can see the river. Good ambience. Service is very good. Enjoy their Caesar salad with shrimp!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Yardley Inn is one of those spots I've had bookmarked since I moved to the area and I finally got to stop in yesterday. Turned out to be a great experience. Our meal was absolutely outstanding! We were quickly seated upon arrival and the server swiftly brought out drinks and fresh bread. She also came back quickly to take our order, which was great since we were pretty hungry. The service throughout the evening was excellent. For our meal we started out with the "Tiers of Taste" which is basically a choice of 3 apps served in a tiered stand. Our choices were the Devils on Horseback, which are chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon, the deviled eggs, and the charred Brussel Sprouts. We also added in the Bigeye Tuna poke which was prepared with onion, tomato, black seaweed, and sesame oil. For the main dish, I went with a grass fed Filet Mignon with asparagus. The food was so good! I was totally surprised! The quality and flavor were totally on the mark. I particularly enjoyed the fresh tuna and sesame/seaweed flavor in the poke. The portion was huge for an appetizer and I had a bunch of it, but I could totally have eaten another serving for myself. It was that good! The Devils on Horseback were also great. While it was a touch too sweet for taste (I wish there was more balance between the sweet and savory) it was still a solid dish. The Brussel Sprouts and eggs were also pretty good, but they didn't make as big of an impression as the aforementioned dishes did. As for the main, the filet turned out great! Predictably it wasn't on the level of a steakhouse steak, but for a local restaurant, it was damn good. They perfectly cooked it to a medium rare just like I requested and it was a great cut of meat. No sinew, no funky parts. Solid steak all around. I loved my meal so much that we came back 2 days later for lunch and they did a great job again, so it wasn't a fluke. Bottom line, this place has top notch food. Five stars. Great restaurant!

Paul M.

Yelp
Out for New Years Eve for the first time since pre-covid. Was extremely pleased. It was a special menu (usually not a fan) but we all had a different entree & loved it! Don't hesitate to go there.

Yelp
I'm so sick of restaurants charging 3.5% to use a credit card. 1st if all, they don't pay 3.5% fees for credit cards. 2nd of all, they don't tell you until you get there, so you don't bring cash. To make it worse, they add the 3.5% before tax so you're paying tax on the 3.5%. We won't be going back. Food was fine, not great and restaurant was too loud.

Yelp
A historic and charming restaurant set next to the Delaware River. This Pennsylvania restaurant is worth the trip to if looking for a change of pace and scenery. The craft beer list is impressive with an hearty offering carefully selected by the head barkeeper. Appetizers are kind of limited by choice but they offer a 2-3 choice tower that samples some of each. The Wings are phenomenal here! The Cod was a great and the oysters cleaned so well not a grain of sand! This is a definite go to on our list and it should be for yours as well.

Yelp
I don't get the good reviews. The food is ok. The service is TERRIBLE! Maybe because it's a small town with few alternatives? Just ONCE, I'd like to sit at the bar and not have to ask the bartenders three times for everything. Best thing I heard is that they're closing for a year - with any luck, there will be 100% turnover on the staff!

Yelp
Great place and location. Great appetizers. Friendly and attentive staff. I just wished the tacos that I ordered had more flavor in them. The "crispy" pork lacked the crispiness I was anticipating. The salsa on the side, I hate to say this, was more like tomato paste that came out of a can. The chips and guacamole were bland and uninspired. The true savior, for me, was really that 3-tier appetizer. The fried brussels sprouts had the flavor my tacos were missing. The bruschetta and cheese (either gouda or feta) had that crunch I was looking. And the deviled eggs just made everything heavenly.

Yelp
We have been visiting The Yardley Inn for many years, albeit only once a year now for our Anniversary. We did a double celebration as we went on Fathers Day. It's a tradition. The staff is absolutely lovely, no complaints there! However, I need to be brutally honest, it's not what it once was. I specifically asked for a window or patio seating on the reservation as I do every year & where were we seated? The bar at a small pub table. Fortunately my husband went up & spoke to the staff & we were reseated in the main dining room. My husband ordered a Whiskey Sour & it looked nothing like any Whiskey Sour we've ever seen or made, served in a tall narrow glass, almost colorless, w/a slice of lime. It also took forever to receive & we sent it back, only to receive the same drink again. Ordered the Roasted Beet starter, husband liked, also the cheese board, it's described on the menu as including chef selected cheeses, olives, prosciutto, fresh fruit, bread etc., the olives & prosciutto were forgotten, a tiny portion of bread & no description of the cheeses. We asked for more bread & were told there was no more bread that night. Huh? For our mains, we ordered the Lemon Chicken & Strip Steak, medium rare. Quite frankly, it was probably one of the worst steaks I've ever eaten, very rare, tough, tons of fat & gristle, the seasonings in the sauce were overpowering & extremely salty. I could barely cut it. The chicken was just ok; tasty but the thickening agent made it rather pasty. Now before anyone asks why we didn't send food back, remember this was supposed to be a happy occasion, celebrating & reminiscing many years of love & decided to concentrate on that instead of the shortfalls, but in the future, probably only for drinks & maybe appetizers. I'd also like to point out that they need to do some sprucing up/cleaning in the ladies room, dirt, dust & lots of bugs in the ceiling light fixture. Owners take note.

Yelp
Great food, service and location . Visiting from out of town and found the Yardley Inn online. It did not disappoint. Waiter was great and so was the experience

Yelp
Cliff notes: tasty but pricey, upper middle aged clientele. Long narrative: my husband and I went for dinner tonight. We go maybe twice a year. On the whole, their food is good to good+, but you are going to pay about 20% too much for your experience. Their shrimp cocktail is excellent, big shrimp served with a tasty jicama and avocado salad. We had the wedge salad; it was ok. Fresh but unimpressive. My husband had the filet: excellent. I had the short rib ravioli: good. The pasta was a little thick and chewy at times. Cookies and chocolate truffon for dessert: good+. The cocktails were delicious and appropriately strong. Our server Napoleon was great. The Yardley Inn is solid every time, as long as you know you are going to overpay. Also, some diners are loud and entitled. But hey, it's Yardley.

Yelp
$25 for a bland Turkey sandwich, a coke, and no service. We waited so long to be seated that we decided to seat ourselves and then we were treated like we were an inconvenience to them.
