It’s a unique spot that is very rustic and everything is handmade for the decor. It’s a slower paced atmosphere and don’t be in a rush. The people are very nice who work there and great food. Limited on making substitutions for menu items. Sundays are salmon chowder soup and other days it varies. The new vista way sandwich was great with buffalo chicken and chipotle Mayo.

Gorgeous place! The atmosphere is peak, the employees are kind, the food is tasty. Glad I finally got the chance to experience this place, absolutely will be going back!

I recently stumbled upon this incredible place, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The food was simply fantastic. We decided to try their salmon sandwiches 🥪 and salmon 🥣 , and both were beyond delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality of the salmon was outstanding. The soup of the day was a pleasant surprise, and it warmed my heart (and my stomach!) on that chilly day. To complement our meal, we indulged in hot apple cider, which was a delightful choice. It added a touch of sweetness to our overall dining experience. However, what truly sets this place apart is its ambiance and the people who work there. The vibes were so inviting, and the atmosphere was filled with positivity. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their warmth and enthusiasm created an environment that made me want to return again and again. This hidden gem has undoubtedly earned its place among my favorite spots to visit. Whether you're seeking a delicious meal, a cozy atmosphere, or simply a place to relax and enjoy the company of friendly people, this place has it all. I highly recommend giving it a try. A friend recommended this restaurant to me sometime ago. I remembered when I relocated to Vista a few months ago. I am not quite sure how, but I ended up here three or four times between last week and this week! 😊 So yes, I highly recommend Yellow Deli to anyone who would like a joyful and quaint spot for a delicious cup of coffee or some chili. I really like their decaf black coffee in the press! And, I learned you are not allowed to use technology at the tea bar! Enjoy!

The wait is very long for the right reasons! The food is good, it's funny how some people that passed by our table would say "THAT SMELLS GOOD" Imagine a restaurant run by Hufflepuffs. Yeah, it's like this. Starting from people to the decor and even to the food.

The hot sandwiches are excellent. High quality ingredients, exceptional skills in the kitchen. Always a warm, welcoming and memorable experience. Been here many times, and look forward to my next visit!

Love this place! Can’t beat the atmosphere and I love the teas! Don’t miss out on the chili and also the cheese pie is a must try! You will regret not trying the pie!

My husband and I came here for lunch for the first time. The don’t take reservations. We put our name down and was told that they were busy today and it would be 1/2 hr to and hour wait. We checked after 45 mins and was told that there was still a wait. We explained that we had an appointment to get to and he found seating upstairs for us. We were told that the soup would be the quickest to serve so I ordered the cup of lentil soup which came with bread to have there and our sandwiches to go just in case we had to take leave. I had the Ruben sandwich and my husband had a the Alaskan salmon sandwich. The soup was so flavorful! It’s one of the best lentil soups I’ve had. I would highly recommend it and definitely get it again. I ate part of my Ruben sandwich which was delicious. It wasn’t super salty as most Ruben sandwiches are. It was just right. My husband enjoyed his salmon sandwich and was surprised how much he liked it. Overall, our experience was great (food and service) and they were accommodating to our schedule in having us seated and trying to get our meal out to us. I would recommend this place if you’re not in a rush or have any time restraint. We look forward to coming back when we have more time.
