Loved visiting this coffee shop. Delicious coffee! Can't wait to go back and try a pastry! The seating was fine since it was the 2 of us, I think we just caught them on a busier day so it was a little loud sometimes but not enough to where I wouldn't come back. It's worth it. There's seating outside too once it gets a bit cooler. Definitely go try out a great coffee!

This place is one of my favorite spots in town. Every employee is so kind and welcoming. The owner really emphasizes this as a community space and that is absolutely what it feels like. They have amazing drinks, I love the coffee and the chai. Their specialty drink “The Rob’s Way” is delicious, even as someone who is not usually a fan of lavender in my lattes. They have baked good for other local businesses that are all delicious. I think they hit it out of the park on all fronts and I love to be able to support a business like this every week.

What a cute little place with quiet and yeah, engaging atmosphere really good food and coffee. Everybody is so friendly. My friend brought her little sheltie dog and the place is really dog friendly. They have little dog biscuits for free. Wish we had something like this where we lived.

Great coffee shop. I had a decaf Americano that was very good and prepared quickly. Loved the atmosphere. May have been an old car dealership. Good art, too.

Great place. You can bring your dogs here. Overall pretty good food and coffee. I also really appreciate how much they encourage community involvement and have local artist hang/sell their pieces there. You do have to be mindful that they rotate their drip coffee pretty frequently so you’re not gonna have as much consistency in the flavor of your coffee if you just go in and ask for light/medium/dark roast. You have to be more mindful of what country/flavor profiles of whatever they’re serving that day is. They are one of the two coffee shops in Norman that roast their own beans on site. I wish they would make more sausage burritos because every time I come on Wednesday mornings at around 8:30, they are always sold out.

We are out trying to socialize our puppy and this place was perfect! The women who works there are so kind and the woman who got so hype seeing our puppy was everything!! I've been waiting for someone to give that energy when they saw him! It was such a good first experience and I can't wait to go again! Not only were the employees so kind but the coffee was delicious!! 🫶🏻🩷

I had a little extra time passing through Norman, and I decided to check out The Yellow Dog Coffee Company’s new location. They had moved since the last time I had stopped in quite a while ago, and the new location was welcoming and spacious. There is plenty of seating for any size of group, for any occasion. The baristas were conversational and friendly. There is a variety of baked goods available and other merchandise. However, what I truly appreciate about The Yellow Dog Coffee is their consistent quality of coffee. It truly is great coffee! Staff was very friendly and so many different options! The space was huge with lots of different seating options which is great. Matcha was very good and will definitely be back!

Coffee is wonderful here. I get the cold brew Robs way with almond milk. I rated 4 stars because I wish they had more of a variety for food choices, and when it rains the roof can start to leak on you.

Go to stop whenever i'm in norman, matcha and all the coffee is great. The staff is very caring and are super friendly. There's tons of indoor seating as well as some outdoor, the couches are especially comfy.

Best place to get coffee and study in the town. Coffee is a 10/10, it's very quiet and peaceful too. Also the service is always top tier and quick which is something rare in the state of Oklahoma.

After being here more, some suggestions! They cannot seem to mix syrup and iced coffee, or at least my barista couldn't, so not a fan of cold brew with oatmilk and lavender, but i did love their cappucino! The barista Maddy is just THE BEST!!! So sweet.

Best dirty chai ever! I love to sit on the couch and read for a few hours. The baristas are chill, and the environment is calm even when there's a lot of customers inside.

I love their coffee and the bohemian vibe of the eclectic space! Definitely recommend to newcomers!

Ordered Rob's Choice latte which had honey, lavender, and oat milk. Could definitely taste the honey and oats- it was really delicious! It's a super spacious area with various seating options. Staff was very friendly.

Used to be a fave of mine until recently. I used to love that their coffee drinks weren't too sweet. They must have changed their recipe because the drinks have been too sweet on my last 5 visits. Also, they're always out of the everything bagels. Last 8 visits, they've been out. I'll still frequent the location. Just have to remember to order my drink with half sweetness and will have to come to the realization that they'll be out of bagels!

Delicious peppermint latte and scrumptious chocolate muffin! Everything came out super fast and they were very friendly and accommodating. Really great seating with plenty of room and comfy chairs. It's a lovely quaint atmosphere. Plus, they allow dogs! I will definitely be going back again soon.

To be fair I'm not into social coffee houses. I am however into coffee, and have been for a very long time. I told server I like a strong drip brewed Colombian coffee. He suggested a Brazilian they had on special, and I asked it was made with Arabica or Robusto beans. He corrected my pronunciation of Arabica as a-ri-ba-ca instead of the long second a. He was wrong and snobbish.

This was my first visit after purchasing a "Bean to Cup Coffee Experience" for my husband back in February. After his bean to cup experience he's done nothing but talk about coming back. He also purchased 2 bags of beans that we've been using sparingly because they're soo good!! We live in Lawton, OK so getting this way doesn't happen often but today I was heading to get my car serviced and decided to stop by and support this local coffee shop! Boy was I happy I made this decision!! The staff is so helpful and friendly and I just love how the shop is decorated. I enjoyed a pistachio iced late, and local made sausage breakfast burrito and a Sooner scone to enjoy tomorrow for breakfast. 10/10 love this coffee shop and the owner! And you know I'm snagging a few bags of beans!!

I love coming here and I'm so sad that I recently had such a poor experience! I sat down and within 10 minutes was told I'm not allowed to "loiter" I told the man speaking to us that we'd come and order pastries in a moment. Not 10 minutes later he told us the owners said we had to leave. When I asked if I could just order right now he said "no I missed my chance" and kicked us out.

This place is in a very unusual location that is not close to any main roads but the building Itself is very modern. YDC is smack dab in the middle of a wine and charcuterie bistro and an interior design shop. My first thought upon entering was that it's very LA-like; Hip and bare-bones but funky enough to attract it crowds. They also still take Covid measures seriously. I ordered an oat milk lavender latte which was just how I like it, slightly sweet but you still taste the coffee. I noticed they roast their own beans which is a major plus in my book.

Such a great place. We were traveling through town and stopped in here on new year's day for some coffee and black-eyed peas. A great way to start 2023!

It is a great place to go study or hang out with friends, there's many different seating styles including some with tables and chairs and others that are just a grouping of arm chairs. The staff is very nice and helpful and the drinks are good and the everything bagel is my favorite snack. This is my favorite study spot in Norman.

Love love love this place. The new location on Porter is super cute. Staff is kind and knowledgeable. Owner, Rob, is usually on site and welcoming. Love to get my drink "Rob's way." Parking can be a bit tricky - but it's worth a short walk. Locally roasted beans, delicious cold brew and fabulous comfortable atmosphere. Love the way they have transformed this space!

Terrible. Simply awful vibe. Go to Grey Owl instead. Have given them a few chances but nothing changes. Save your money for good coffee.

Bitter and burnt roast. Save your dough for Gray Owl on Gray Street, Norman, OK. They are friendly, with an awesome environment.

Service is always great, staff is always friendly and my caramel macchiato is always perfect. The ambiance in the coffee shop is relaxing and they often feature live local musicians. Follow them on social media for details...

I stopped in to have some coffee and get some work done prior to a conference in the area. I had a latte that was delicious, served up by friendly staff. It was a great space to sit in a corner and get some work done. Highly recommend

The latte I got was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Will need to go back soon to actually try the baked goods and some other coffee drinks. The owner was there and was super friendly and told us all about the new location that will be opening soon. My only complaint (and the reason for the 4 stars vs 5) is there was only one outlet my laptop could work on (I needed a three-prong outlet) and it was blocked by folks who were occupying the table in front of it. The owner mentioned that it should be remedied in the new location so I hope that is the case.

Yellow Dog Coffee is taking local own and local roast to new levels. The shop is nice and quaint and smells of fresh roasted coffee and fresh baked cookies. It's amazing! Bottle it up and sell it as an air freshener. The coffee is decently priced and it's located right near Main Street downtown Norman. The staff are friendly and eager to serve you. There is plenty of parking down the street if the front lot is full. I ordered a cappuccino (drink in only, but I'm sure they'd pour it in a Togo cup if you ask nicely). The coffee was very deep and earthy, some of the best I've ever had. The best part, is they are so close I don't have to drive up to OKC to get a cup of awesome high end brew. You can also buy it ground or whole by the bag. I'm definitely a fan now! They offer delivery service for the beans and their cold brew if that interests you. 5 out of 5 I would definitely go there again even if it's just for the free smells.

Yellow Lab Coffee is a gem in downtown Norman. The large windows give the coffee shop a light and airy atmosphere. The coffee itself is PHENOMENAL, and their pastries are from local shops, all of which are great. The lack of tables makes this place not the best study environment, but I'll be sure to be back for a cup of coffee or hang out with a friend!

This is such a great coffee shop. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are, too! The ambiance of the space is extremely calming. It's a great place to do homework or just hang out. The staff is extremely friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Even offered to change to music while i was studying to any genre i preferred. I had a Nicaraguan pour over with a Sweet Elvis scone and they were amazing. Free WiFi, great local art on the walls, and a great aesthetic. 10/10 stars, this is definitely my new favorite coffee shop and I have a feeling I'll be coming back again and again!

Visiting Norman for family weekend. We needed some decent coffee-hotel was not cutting it! Search local spots and this one stood out. Glad we stopped in. Had a vanilla latte & it was delish! I'm a lover of local roasters and try to grab a bag when I can. Looking forward to trying the beans as well! I will be back on my future visits to Norman!

Best matcha latte I've ever had hands down! Large inside area for hanging out and cute outdoor area also. Friendly staff. Highly recommend

Decided to stop in and get a hot vanilla latte. The latte was very rich and the espresso had a nice kick to it! They offer drip coffee, espressos, and cold brews along with tea options! They had baked goods and it sounds like soon they will be doing all the baking in house! Can't wait to go back again!

Their coffee is good! The atmosphere feels very incomplete, my sister described it as 'standing in someone's entryway'. There is a lot going on, so it just isn't really a place to sit and study. Definitely a good place for a chat with friends or a quick coffee spot! The owner is so sweet as well, and stickers are free!!

We really enjoy coming here , great coffee and live entertainment. I would have given it a 5 ,but they have these big huge beautiful flowers they planted for the environment( which I love) but they have taken over the sidewalk and you have to walk in the mud and in the dirt area . My hubby almost sprang his ankle just trying to get in to get a coffee.

This is a very nice coffee shop, right on the legacy trail. Good cold brew, nice atmosphere, very comfortable seating. Good for business meetings.

Found this great little coffee shop just off main street and I'm so glad I did! Delicious coffee, yummy freshly baked treats and amazing staff. Even bought a package of coffee beans to enjoy at home. Highly recommend!

Good coffee and pastries!! Local toaster which means fresh beans! A major plus is that they have oat milk. It is a good place to work or study.

I really enjoy their coffee. Specifically the cold brew for me. But my husband loves their roasted beans. The Ethiopian is his favorite.

The coffee was fine, but not much different not better than other local roasters around. They have house made cookies which are good but they really need more help on weekends when weather is nice to wander around downtown and it's close to the Library too. I hope service gets more efficient, but it's always good to see new businesses to give everyone options.

After reading the reviews about Rob's lavender oat milk latte, I stopped in to Yellow Dog to check it out. I had previously visited their location when it was on Main Street (and had enjoyed a delicious oat milk latte there with a friend). I love the decor and ambiance of the new Yellow Dog location even more - I just stopped in for a moment, but it's very spacious, with cozy and inviting decor, and looks like a great place to get a bit of work done while sipping coffee. The staff is also super friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them as they made my latte. It was delicious - I'd never had a lavender latte before, and I can say that the lavender flavor is very unique and goes well with the other flavors in the latte (honey and oatmilk). In addition to coffees, Yellow Dog also has really delicious muffins - I ordered chocolate and red velvet, and the red velvet one has a crystallized sugar topping and chocolate chips - one of my favorite muffins I've had lately!!! I will definitely be back to support a great local business and highly recommend Yellow Dog to anyone (especially people like me that can't have dairy - they offer a variety of nondairy milk options). I will definitely be back!

The yellow dog brew is so good!! Unlike any I've ever had! And the barista was so nice! He told me all about the brew and bean process and let me sample some cold brew! If you love coffee definitely go here! They also have a cool punch card for a free drink. Awesome

I've been a home delivery coffee beans customer for many months and was so happy for the shop to open. It's a lovely space with just the right amount of options. They have a sweet kids area with great books. There's only a couple of parking spots in front but plenty 50 yds away. Wonderful addition to downtown.

Lovely coffee shop with the best tasting coffee in Norman. Always a warm, friendly place to study or just enjoy a cup of coffee. They also do a local subscription service to keep your coffee stocked.

Great people! This coffee shop is filled with really friendly works. They are so helpful and want to save you money too! Ever time I go they ask if I walked up and offer me a walking discount. The coffee is really good. I really enjoy the Ethiopian medium blend.
