Brooke is the best! She instantly picked up of the texture of my hair and my waves, while I've been told by other hair dressers that my hair is too fine to wave. I gave Brooke a general idea of the way I wanted my hair cut and she absolutely fulfilled it. I left feeling confident! The head massage she gave during the washing process had me instantly relaxing. I'll definitely be back and cannot recommend her enough!

Brooke is the best! I have been going to her for years now; I literally followed her here from another salon because she's so fantastic. She's always so friendly and fun to talk to, and she's very collaborative. She gives me time to explain my ideas or what I'm looking for, and she advises me expertly from there. I've never left an appointment unhappy in the slightest. I trust no one else with my hair at this point, and cannot recommend Brooke enough! Thank you!! The salon itself is so awesome, too! I love the decor, all of the other stylists are so kind, and the services are at fair prices. The connected restaurant definitely is a wonderful touch, too. It's so fun to get fries while you're getting your hair done!

I started coming to The Young American Salon when my stylist Kara Szot became apart of their team. The atmosphere at The Young American is so welcoming and filled with kind people who all are passionate/love what they do. Kara Szot has been my stylist for the past 6 years and I cannot imagine ever going to anyone else. She goes above and beyond to achieve my desired hair goals and I’m always happy with the outcome. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and down to earth. She communicates with me throughout my appointment to make sure I’m happy with how it’s looking. I’ve gotten different types of extensions done by her as well as color and each time the color match and install of extensions couldn’t be more perfect. I’m so thankful to have found Kara and look forward to many more years of appointments with her and I’m also thankful for the fantastic atmosphere she now is apart of that I get to experience! It’s a win all around.

Brooke did SUCH an amazing job! I had no references so we talked out the style I wanted, and they really took time to understand the vision. They went crazy on my hair, did a beautiful highlight, and honestly my hair feels too cool for me to even wear on my own head. ☺️💕 Brooke was so kind and sweet as well, and the vibe of the shop was amazing!

My husband bought me a gift card for Christmas on a whim. I had just tried my fourth salon after having been with the same lady for 20 plus years (she retired). I have thick, unruly hair, and getting the right cut is hard to find. Sam, the owner, did such an impressive job on both color and style. I left feeling terrific and so pleased to have finally found a great place. I'm about to schedule my third appointment. I highly recommend them!

Best haircut I've ever had. Great experience. Love the decor, love the music, love the products, love the people, love the vibe. Sam cut and colored hair. She took her time and really paid attention to detail. She even gave me a styling lesson. I don't generally enjoy getting my hair done, but Sam was fun to talk to and I felt great walking out of there. 100% recommend this salon.
