We had a great meal at Thea. Everything we ordered was really good. The dumplings were full of flavor, the lamb chops were tender, and the skirt steak was cooked just right. Dessert was a highlight. The chocolate cake was rich, and the lemon olive oil cake was light and fresh. Overall, the food was excellent and we really enjoyed our time here. We’ll definitely be back.

We came here for brunch to celebrate our friend's birthday, and honestly, it was such a good pick! The restaurant's on the 6th floor of The Global Ambassador Hotel. Parking looked kind of tricky, so we just went with valet. Our server was super friendly and helpful, which made everything easy. We started off with a few mocktails, Dolce Vita, Peach Bisous, Café Paradiso, and some coffee. All of them were really good, and that coffee was strong and so tasty. Then came the Goddess of All Dips, six dips, six flavors, all amazing. We also got the Greek Street Fries and Zucchini Chips. Both were yummy, but the zucchini chips were a little too greasy for me. For mains, we shared the Turkish Meatballs, Pressed Yellowtail & Avocado, Chicken Souvlaki Skewers, Truffle Filet Skewers, and a Margherita Flatbread. Everything was delicious, though the truffle skewers didn't really have that strong truffle smell. And of course, dessert was the perfect ending, we had the complimentary birthday cake plus the flourless chocolate cake. Both were sooo good! The view from up there was also really nice, facing the mountain, I can only imagine how beautiful the sunset must be. Between the food, the setting, and the laughs we shared, hanging out with my girls is truly my kind of therapy.

Location, location, location! Excellent Mediterranean rooftop restaurant facing the beautiful Camelback Mountain. The flaming cheese appetizer is a must! The Shrimp Scorpio was excellent. Espresso Martini was worth the price. We just ordered 5 different plates so we could sample and shared, and it was plenty for 3. You can go the sushi route, the Greek route, flatbread route, etc. so there are lots of options! This hotel is a place to see and be seen so dress accordingly, and go at sunset for great pic opps! We weren’t sure where to park, so we parked in the garage across the entrance by Bergen, and it was $15.00 fyi.

Thea has exceptional food and ambience. And our server, Kaipo, did a wonderful job suggesting just the right dishes based on our individual preferences. He also helped celebrate my sister and Brother in Law's anniversary and make the evening even more special.

We had an AMAZING experience at Théa as always and what really made it extra great was our server Emma! We had Emma a year ago here too and she remembered us! We had a group with lots of super complex and difficult dietary restrictions, and Emma was beyond accommodating. She was so patient and really took the time to listen to everyone’s different needs, and she took extra care to make everyone feel like it was genuinely no problem at all for the restaurant to accommodate them. She was so warm, and she remembered everyone’s name and all the details shared. At the end of the meal she thanked us all individually by name! We were blown away by her attentive service, kindness, accommodation, and warmth. Emma is amazing! And we always love the food and vibe here!

Reserved for lunch on the weekend and had a wonderful experience. Everything tasted very flavorful and well seasoned. Personally loved the whipped ricotta and flatbread for their smooth and crispy texture. Definitely worth a stop for the mountain view.

Michael was an amazing server, truly made it a beautiful experience. It was my first time here and I will definitely be back. He went above and beyond, was friendly and added a good laugh with our service. I couldn't be happier with my experience tonight. Amazing.

Great drinks, delicious food, and superb service! Need I say more?! This is a great place to bring friends and loved ones for some great Mediterranean food with a view. The restaurant is located inside the Global Ambassador hotel. Go past the lobby and boutique and take the elevators on the right to the 6th floor. Limited parking is available but we opted for the valet service ($10). It was packed on a Saturday at 5ish. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Our server, Emma, was fantastic. She curated our meal to what was needed and it couldn't have been better. Drinks: Summertime love - 10/10 this was fruity and refreshing. It was on the sweeter side but I absolutely loved this! Decadent spicy margarita - this was husband's drink. He loved it! It has a decent amount of heat. Food: Tuna Crudo - 10/10! The quality of the fish was great. Our server recommended pita bread to dip in the Crudo sauce and it was a game changer. Would highly recommend this! Crispy Greek potatoes - 8/10, the potato wedges were cooked well and the tzatziki sauce was great. Manti dumplings - 8/10, slightly saltier than we personally liked but it was still very good. Branzino - 10/10! This was my favorite. The fish was cooked perfectly and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Totally reminded me of the one I had in Greece. Portions are good enough to share between 2 ppl. I highly recommended making a reservation at this place. I will definitely return.

Was visiting and this place was highly recommended. Below is what we got + what I thought! Espresso martini: best I had in a while. Loved the vanilla notes. Spanakopita: pretty standard Hummus: very flavorful Whipped ricotta: a must get Pita: not my favorite compared to other places Crispy tuna: loved the textures Grilled platter: lamb was a bit tough, but the rest was great Crispy potatoes: pretty standard so cannot go wrong Grilled octopus was not for me but it may be for you! Texture was not my favorite but the flavor is good. Overall, was a good experience and beautiful setting.

Overall score 3.5. I did research of best restaurants in Phoenix with a view, and Thea certainly topped the list. While the mountain views and patio vibes were as billed, unfortunately the food missed the mark for us. First, I've never been to any place claiming to have 'brunch' without any actual breakfast items - might as well just call it lunch, but oh well. Thea claims to be Mediterranean and its dishes are meant to share for two. The menu was a juxtaposition of several countries' dishes, including Greek, Italian, and even Japanese (sushi). - Drinks: We ordered the frose sangria, spicy margarita and a dirty Titos martini. The marg was the highlight, while the martini was good but I thought overpriced at $22, and the frose was ok but a bit overpowered by the aperol not common in sangria. - Apps: We got the hummus and muhammara. Both came in small bowls with sliced pita, with an extra plate of pita provided. I wouldn't say these were exactly large enough for two, and actually on the smaller side compared to other places that offer larger portions of the same dips for the same price. The muhammara was a bit overspiced which overpowered the taste of the red pepper. - Sushi: We got the crispy tuna rice, which was probably the smallest portion I've ever seen. The bigger disappointment was it was sitting in a sauce that made the rice soggy and not very crispy, while the dollop of tuna wasn't spicy, and the dish was also overpowered by sesame seeds on top. We also got the Over the Rainbow roll which was dull and flavorless, akin to a similar roll you would get in a grocery store for much cheaper. The roll also included cucumbers which would have been good to mention on the menu for those that don't like it. If you're a Mediterranean place also pulling off sushi, it better be executed really well, and both of the ones we ordered were just basic. - Flatbreads: The flatbreads were decent, we got both the margherita and the parma. Both tasted good and had fresh ingredients, with the parma a bit on the salty side because of the prosciutto. - Service and ambiance were good. Our server was attentive and dishes were delivered timely. The mountain views definitely created a pretty patio setting. Price point of dishes overall was on the pricier side, but expected for the area and the fact that it's in the Global Ambassador. I could best describe Thea as an Instagrammable type of place where young people posing for pics to the backdrop was the vibe.

Beautiful venue on the rooftop of the Global Ambassador hotel. Very nice ambience. The only issue is if you're sitting outside on a cold windy day like we were. The heaters were not enough and people were wearing their coats. They do have some throws which helped a little. Service was great. The food was delicious for the most part. Very tasty and flavorful. We tried a lot of different dishes- muhammara, spicy tuna and crispy rice (very good), yellowtail and avocado (excellent!), Mediterranean olives, crispy falafel for appetizers. For dinner- open face lamb pita (which is basically a gyro sandwich but smaller x 2 pieces), roasted branzino (in a Mediterranean style sauce- sooo good). However, the mixed grill was really disappointing. The price is high and definitely not worth the money, you get a few small pieces of meet and some pita. I can't believe we paid $85 for that. Would skip that one. Overall a nice dinner. Would visit again.

I came to Thea for a baseball mom's holiday gift exchange and dinner. What a beautiful evening at a beautiful restaurant. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our waitress was great as well. Their espresso martini was perfect. Not too sweet and just enough cream. I loved it. The whipped ricotta appetizer was so good! I will order that again. My steak skewers were absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection. The meat literally melted in my mouth. There are so many more items I'd like to try on their menu! I look fwd to my next visit to this fabulous hotel and restaurant!

Went to Thea with a few girlfriends to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday night! It's located inside the beautiful Global Ambassador hotel. It was a busy night and the downstairs lobby bar was definitely happening as well. Beautiful people everywhere. I tend to like that. Lol. I'll have to show up for the bar sometime soon for s cocktail. They have valet parking and a garage close by for parking also if preferred. Had reservations for 7:30 and was seated promptly! I was absolutely shocked by that ,but delighted. I had no need to grab a pre dinner cocktail at the adjoining bar. Lol ..We started with the whipped Ricotta, comes with pita bread! It was very yummy. If you've enjoyed the goat cheese at George and Gather in Chandler,you would be a fan! I had the spicy margaritas! They were perfect and I was feeling fabulous after. Lol., I ordered the salmon with the grains, it was delicious and the sweet yams. They were the best yams I've ever had, considering I'm from the south a good cook and so is my mom, that's saying a lot! I tasted the sushi with mushrooms because one of the girls is vegan; I'd go back for that sushi roll anytime also. I love mushrooms , but would have never thought it could taste so good as sushi! Our server provided amazing service and was very pleasant. He brought me a cute little ice cream dish for my birthday, I shared it with the girls since It wouldn't be something I'd choose for desert while out unless it's accompanied another tasty desert! They should definitely upgrade the birthday desert experience. I'm just saying Buck n Rider gave me macarons. Lol.. I hate it was too dark to catch the view behind me. I'm looking forward to going back in the daytime in the near future for that and remember to take more pics. The night overall was a 10/10! I'd definitely recommend:)

Unbeatable rooftop sunset views. Whipped ricotta was the table's favorite. Service was okay, could use some improvements with more attentive service with filling up water glasses.

Celebrated a birthday here and it was awesome to step into a world of rich Mediterranean flavors and endless Camelback Mountain views at théa, rooftop restaurant at the Global Ambassador! Totally recommended! The view! We got GODDESS of all DIPS: Whipped Ricotta, Baba Ghanoush, Muhammara, Tzatziki, Kopanisti, Hummus drips served with bazlama, pita & crudités. Greek Street Fries, Zucchini Chips served with tzatziki, Truffle Filet Skewer, & Cheeseburger with fries. Everything was delicious and presented fabulously. The service is top-notch! Service, support staff, everyone!!!!

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Théa! We had an assortment of yummy drinks and small plates. We loved the hummus and tzatziki served with pita. Our waiter was even sweet enough to bring us more bread because we had extra dip left. We also tried a couple desserts- the sorbet, lemon olive oil cake, and flourless chocolate cake. All desserts were good but nothing crazy. I do think this place is a little over priced but you do get excellent service, boujee ambience, and a great view.

Loved the atmosphere and the professional service. We ordered quite a bit for my daughter and myself just to try some options. Each was brought with precise timing after the other. The food was tremendous- perfectly prepared. I cannot say anything but raves about each item. Although we were seating comfortably and views are great throughout, I strongly recommend reserving an outdoor table and watch the sunsets and the amazing view.

Thea is located on the rooftop of The Global Ambassador Hotel, which is absolutely breathtaking! As soon as you pull up, you are greeted by the gentleman in valet. When you walk inside, the staff greets you and guide you to the correct elevator where you need to go. We had made our reservation to sit outside overlooking the Camelback mountains but it started raining so they closed it off. (I was super depressed) Regardless, we were seating to where we could still see outside to the mountains and a bit of the sunset. The decor was simple, elegant, and beautiful! The service was top notch, and the food, divine! Everything was delicious, the whipped ricotta with honey and wild oregano is so delicious! We also ordered the Turkish meatballs, which had such a beautiful flavor profile, very earthy and moist. The Mediterranean olives were brought out very warm in a bath of olive oil, they even brought us a small dish to put the pits. The potstickers . . . I wish they sold them in stores, they were fabulous! And were also got the crispy potatoes, which I know, I know, how good can potatoes be? Amazing! There's are absolutely amazing! And I ordered an old fashion, and honestly for $21 it's worth it, I was very tipsy and it took me over 45 minutes to finish. My husband got the roasted branzino, nice light flakey fish, seasoned perfectly. I went with the chicken and I was very pleased with it but felt like the rice was a bit dry. And for dessert, we wanted to choose something off the menu but before we got the chance our waiter brought us a complimentary "Happy Anniversary" dessert which was a kind gesture but not what we would've selected. It was a light lemon dessert. All in all, next time I'm in Arizona I'm making another reservation here. There was so much more I wanted to try but on a short trip, I'm glad we were able to get a reservation!

1000 stars to Théa for the view, the food, the aesthetic, and the service. My boyfriend made reservations for us to celebrate our anniversary, and after our first time dining here, we definitely want to come back. He specifically reserved 5:15pm on the outside patio so we could see the mountains (and how the sunset changes the color of the mountains), and the view just made me want to dine here (even more) every single day. The restaurant itself is beautiful, both inside and out, and I love the decor and colors. We did everything tapas style since the menu sounded so enticing. Firstly, the "Sunseeker" and "Summertime Love" cocktails were both refreshing and on the lighter side, which was perfect. To eat, we ordered: fried calamari, manti dumplings*, Greek street fries, and shrimp scampi. All of it was flavorful, and I have no complaints, but I put an asterisk next to the manti dumplings because those were our favorite! Spiced beef, Greek yogurt, crispy garlic and chili!? Don't tell me that's not the perfect combo. The blend of flavors to balance one another was *chef's kiss*. And we probably ordered the kofta (skewers served with rice) about 30 minutes after everything else because though I was full, my boyfriend wanted to try it. So good! We love our Mediterranean food. And we also ordered espresso martinis, which had a punch, but also tasty. It reminded me of a tiramisu for some reason. And lastly, shoutout to Gavin, our amazing waiter. He checked up on us the perfect amount of times, he was knowledgeable with the menu, he was very personable, AND he takes really good photos (most important, of course...) But really, he made this dining experience that much better.

Delicious and great service!! We went on a Saturday night after the sun had gone down. We had reservations and got right in. (It's busy--make reservations!!) Next time I go I will go an hour or so earlier and sit outside for sunset views!! Service was great, friendly and timed well--especially for a busy Saturday night! Shared the hummus and zucchini chips with the group. I'm dying to know how to make the zucchini chips--they were absolutely delicious!!! The tuna crudo is INSANE! Like maybe the best I've ever tried!!! The pressed yellowtail was good, but the tuna crudo is a MUST if you are deciding between the two!!

Théa is a Mediterranean rooftop restaurant located on the 6th floor of The Global Ambassador Hotel. Highly recommend making a reservation for the outdoor patio seating to dine with a beautiful view. My friend and I made a reservation for Friday 4:45pm. The time was perfect - it started with a sunny view of the mountains, then we caught the sunset, and Arizona sunsets are the best! We were there until it got dark around 7:30pm, and as we walked by the railing, we saw the street lights and cars - that kind of ruined the vibe (lol) but we were leaving anyway. FOOD: The menu is designed to be shared, like tapas. They have so many good dip options, or you can order all six, "Goddess of all Dips", which would be great for a big group. We tried the Whipped Ricotta, and it was our favorite dish of the night! I saw the table next to me get a flaming dish, and I had to order it - Flaming Saganaki (kasseri cheese that they light at your table). It had a nice crust to it from the flames. Honestly didn't think the cheese needed to be paired with anything (comes with pita). The Tartufo flatbread was packed full of truffle flavor! It was very creamy with the combination of ricotta and parmesan cream sauce. We love potatoes, and debated between Greek Street Fries or Crispy Greek Potatoes. Settled on the latter and were happy with our choice. We also had the Seared Salmon - loved the crust from the sear and the flavor of the fish, but did not care for the flavor of the ancient grains. For dessert, our waiter actually advised us against ordering the Citrus Panna Cotta! He said he doesn't like the flavor combo, and some customers haven't enjoyed it either. I appreciated the honesty! He recommended the Lemon Olive Oil Cake and Flourless Chocolate Cake. We thought the chocolate cake didn't fit the Mediterranean theme, so we tried the olive oil cake. It was a bit dry and did not have enough of the raspberry compote. The raspberry compote and lemon curd were very tart, but the cake and whipped labneh helped tame it. DRINKS: Both of us drove, so we ordered from the Zero Proof section. The Dolce Vita was really good - "tequila", verdita, lime, and soda water. My friend enjoyed her Peach Bisous as well - "amaretto", honey, peach, lemon, and luxardo cherry. We had a great experience between the ambience, service from our waiter Gavin, and the food & drinks. This would be a great spot to day drink and share a few plates, or go for date night. I definitely want to come back and try their cocktail menu and have some more Whipped Ricotta!

Located on the top floor of the Global Ambassador Hotel, théa is a Mediterranean focused restaurant. Indoor and outdoor patio seating is available with spectacular views of both Camelback Mountain and downtown Phoenix. The menu is well executed with descriptions for everything. The hostess served us water and told us our server would be right with us. It was quite busy being the day after Christmas but the staff works well together to deliver drinks and food in a very timely manner. Our server, Gilmore (sp?) was on point all through our experience. Be warned you "may" be seated at low couches and chairs with a low table on the patio. They do have other regular tables but depending on how busy they are you may have to wait longer. We ordered a large variety of dips, mezze, skewers and vegetable items and one flatbread, one sushi roll and one salad. For our party of six it was plenty of food to share and we all got to sample a little of menu items. All of the food was very well prepared and delicious! Standouts were the pita bread and dips, the brussel sprouts and Flaming Saganaki. They have an extensive wine list but we stuck with the specialty cocktails, which were all very well received. The dessert menu is limited but we choose the citrus panna cotta, flourless chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream and the baklava. Overall the desserts were ok, but nothing to write home about. The chocolate cake was not the deep rich chocolate I expect for flourless cake and the baklava was fine but no better than anywhere else. The panna cotta was the favorite with honeycomb brittle and citrus supremes. Presentation was wonderful! The experience was enjoyed by all but was more of a once in a while outing due to cost

We chose théa Mediterranean Rooftop to celebrate our anniversary, and overall it turned into a really memorable night though it definitely started off rocky. When we arrived, they couldn't find our reservation, which immediately had us panicking. My boyfriend asked if we could possibly wait for a table to open, but unfortunately the first girl who helped us had a terrible attitude. It was such a turn-off and really disappointing, especially on a special occasion. Thankfully, another host stepped in a girl with red and black hair and she completely saved our night. She was so sweet, kind, and genuinely helpful. She got us a table and turned the whole experience around. I truly wish we had gotten her name because we're so grateful for her. Once seated, everything was amazing. Our waitress was the absolute sweetest incredibly attentive and warm. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed every single bite of our food. We ordered about four appetizers and two main courses, and everything was delicious. To top it all off, at the end of the night our waitress surprised us with a sweet treat for our anniversary, which made us so happy and felt very thoughtful. Despite the rough start, the kindness of the staff who stepped up and the incredible food made this a wonderful anniversary celebration. Thank you for an amazing night and extra thanks to the host and waitress who truly went above and beyond.

The meal, the view, the service all amazing! I was in Scottsdale for the weekend with family and we decided to check it out. Wow! We were not disappointed! You can make reservations, but we walked in on Sunday evening. There was a thirty minute wait. While waiting we ordered drinks at the bar. They have an excellent selection of wine, cocktails and beer. While waiting we walked around the beautiful patio with spectacular views. There was a drone show happening in the distance! This was also a great spot for some group pictures. Our table was ready shortly after getting drinks and taking some pics. We were a group of six and seated in a private dining area. The service from staff was impeccable! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. This made for such a nice experience! Our server, Shane, was amazing! He was attentive and gave us the best recommendations. We started with sharing some of the small plates. All were delicious, flavorful and perfect! My favorites were the Turkish meatballs and falafel. Shane suggested sharing an entree between two. He recommended the blistered half chicken and the yams and WOW!! The chicken was tender, juicy and had a citrusy and light mint flavor. The yams with the whipped labneh were the perfect pairing to the chicken. We enjoyed every bite of our food and cleaned our plates! Sharing was the best suggestion! We unfortunately were too full for dessert, but the dessert menu sounded delicious. Everything about this meal and dining experience was spectacular! It made for a memorable last night in Scottsdale. The only downside is I don't live closer to return and try all the other dishes. If you are in the area definitely make théa a priority!

I thought this might be stuffy and overrated because of the location and hype, but wowww was I wrong. From the start to the finish, this was a 10/10 experience all around. The design of the restaurant showcases the views, of course, but no thought was spared on the acoustics and overall experience. For reference, we ate at a similar Mediterranean place the day before, and the experience from there to here was like night and day. While the tables are close together in both restaurants, at Théa, Here, I could easily hear my dinner companion. It felt private, even though we were surrounded by people and the restaurant was packed. The music was not too loud and only added to the overall vibe. Now, onto the service. Our server, Rose, was fantastic! He was there when we needed him, not overbearing, provided honest food and drink recommendations, and was friendly, kind, and had great style! The food, oh my goodness, the food. I can't wait to come back. Everything was perfectly cooked with so much flavor! The chef here must be passionate because it certainly comes through in each dish. I think my favorite example of this is the Greek salad. A very simple item, hard to make memorable. And yet, I am now dreaming of this salad daily. The dressing, the ratio of vegetables to cheese, the saltiness balanced by the fresh flavors of the vegetables and the different spices - immaculate. Shrimp scampi - same thing. Easy dish, hard to make standout. Yet here, it was to die for. I would like to bottle the sauce and drink it, that's how good it was. I ate here until I could eat no more. And now, I can't wait to come back and try more! Also, the cocktails. Wow. Excellent, well made, not at all watered down or too overpowering with the alcohol. Balanced. Well-made. An experience if I've ever had one. Théa knows how to do it right! Make a resy, they do book up. And if you can get a sunset one, even better.

Rose was an EXCELLENT server and made our four year anniversary special. I'm forever grateful to him and the staff for making our evening. The food was superb! We had the chicken and steak skewers, Balami bread, rainbow roll, and the bacon wrapped dates. Highly recommend coming to Théa! We will definitely be back.

The ambience is incredible, from the amazing decor to comfortable seating and unmatched mountain views. Visiting at sunset on the patio is a must! Every bite is carefully crafted and perfectly executed- fresh, unique spins on Mediterranean classics and delicious originals. Everything you think you know about Mediterranean cuisine is tested in the very best way. Highly recommend the zucchini chips and pressed yellowtail. Special shoutout to our server Julien who was so knowledgeable and personable, and really made our experience extra special! Can't wait to revisit.

My 3rd visit to this restaurant, definitely in my favs list. The menu was slightly different this time but no complaints! As always, make reservations! Our waiter was great, he was always checking on us making sure we were doing ok with food/drinks. The Vibe was lively and bubbly! Definitely must add to your list.

Michael was absolutely amazing and made the dining experience unforgettable. Every recommendation he offered was spot-on, from the fresh and flavorful Greek salad to the perfectly prepared truffle filet and yams. The food was exceptional, and the service matched it every step of the way--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Thea continues to impress and never disappoints. I love dining here whenever I stay at The Global Ambassador. A spectacular experience from start to finish.

Ambiance and service: 5 Food: 3 We picked Thea for our last night in Scottsdale. It is a bit further out, in more of an industrial area. The benefit is a great view of the mountains. We made a reservation for patio seating. We were hoping to see the sunset, but the seating was not on the right side for this view unfortunately. It was still a lovely view. We arrived a bit early and were able to order drinks at the outdoor bar. The bartenders were friendly and helpful, the Greek Prince was suggested, it was nice and refreshing. The cocktail prices are high, though this seems to be the case at all the high end restaurants these days. The restaurant and patio are beautiful, it is worth the visit just for the atmosphere. The menu is modern Greek/Mediterranean, as well as sushi. Our group of four shared a variety of small plates. Overall, everything was good, but not amazing. We did not try any sushi. Based on some of the reviews I was expecting a bit more. We thought the meatballs and the truffle filet skewer were the standouts. There were a few complete misses including the carrots. I also had an issue where one of the plates had an ingredient not listed on the menu- one I'm allergic to (this is my biggest annoyance at restaurants, listing most ingredients but leaving off just one or two). They did quickly correct it, which was appreciated. The service was great. Overall, I would recommend for a drink and a couple small plates, enjoy the environment and the view, but perhaps not dinner.

We came here on a Sunday evening at 5:30 to celebrate a birthday. Thea is in the Global Ambassador hotel and worth walking through. Once you take the elevator to the rooftop you walk out to see a gorgeous view and a golden hued, airy restaurant. We were seated and introduced to our server Sloane, who was top-notch. She was friendly and regularly checked back in through our dinner. We started our meal with the whipped ricotta that was superb and an order of the olives were the perfect compliment. They have a fun drink menu with most of the cocktails being around $20 and a good wine list with glasses ranging from $16-$34. For dinner two people shared the mixed grill, which had a little bit of everything in it- chicken, souvlaki, lamb chops and more. It is a great way to try many things that are on the menu. I had the Manti Dumplings and the Spicy Tuna and Crispy Fried Rice. Both were so flavorful and beautifully plated. They offer a birthday dessert but we could not eat anymore, so Sloane included it in our take home package. Very nice! And overall a great experience. With the savory food and the terrific service, I will be back.

I'm always on the hunt for sushi and Mediterranean food. So when I came across this restaurant and saw their menu had BOTH, I had no choice but to come here for a meal. Upon arrival, I didn't realize this spot was located in a hotel. You take the elevator to the rooftop and you are immediately greeted by super nice staff and beautiful views. The restaurant interior and the mountains you could see from your table were absolutely gorgeous. Onto the food! I started with the Muhammara of course as this is one of my favorites of all time. I also got the Pressed Yellowtail and Avocado, the Manti Dumplings, and the Chicken Souvlaki Skewers. The Muhammara was absolutely incredible. It was perfectly nutty and sweet, and encapsulated all of the delicious flavors of an exceptional Muhammara. I was licking off the bowl! The Pressed Yellowtail and Avocado was also exceptional. The fish was so soft it was buttery and the rice was so yummy and it was truly the perfect bite. Combining my favorite fish and spread from separate cuisines as appetizers for my one meal was one of my dreams come true honestly. I also got the Manti Dumplings, which were nothing special. They were solid though, but I don't think I would reorder them as they were a tad bit dry for my liking. Lastly, the Chicken Souvlaki was also pretty yummy and this is definitely a safe option in my opinion. The chicken was tender and flavorful and this was a good main option. I really had a great time here overall and definitely would love to return in the future. I do want to try more things on the menu but also get my tried and true favorites. I would even come back here for the views alone. This has to be one of the best views in the area from a restaurant. I would highly recommend checking out this spot!

Honestly, this was one of the best meals I've had. It rained so we ended up cancelling our brunch rezo but came in at dinner instead. The place was bustling with folks dressed to the nines. The espresso martini was solid, as was ALL of the food. I was so impressed with the spanikopita and the saganaki. The spreads were also amazing. The fries were good but probably wouldn't get them again. Overall, it was a great experience from service to dinner.

Booked for brunch at 1:30pm. What a cool spot in the Global Ambassador, 6th floor. Amazing interior seating as well as full wrap around patio. We booked the camelback patio view which was great. Had a few glasses of wine, the meatballs, rainbow roll and whipped burrata all amazing. Service was amazing and very genuine. Combination of both locals and folks from out of town.

I celebrated my birthday with friends at the restaurant. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Our drinks were great. Our service was phenomenal and we never felt rushed. Our waitress was helpful with good recommendations to share with the table. They never rushed us. The ambiance is very pretty. The I side of the restaurant is nice. The views are impeccable. We loved the rooftop views of the valley. We enjoyed drinks on the rooftop patio after dinner and listened to the DJ. The firepits are a great touch. It was crowded and definitely seemed to draw a trendy crowd.

Made reservations based on some recommendations. So glad we did. Beautiful venue, great attentive service and most importantly amazing food. The mezze style of dining is fantastic. Make sure you come with a group of 4-6, that way you can order and try more items. I wish we have more space to order more. I'm a big fan. Best meal we've had in the area to date.

Wow. The vibes were immaculate and classic from the servers to the decor and views. Came by on a Sunday afternoon and sat indoors since it was hot out, but the Camelback Mountain views and skylines were still visible from the windows and everywhere you looked. Connor was on top of it and sweet as our party slowly arrived. They were unfortunately out of the dumplings, but we did enjoy sharing the following: - Whipped Ricotta - dip was light and airy, though the pita bread felt a tad basic - Tuna Crudo - pretty good, definitely could taste the truffle ponzu and my friend said it hid the taste of the raw fish (which she preferred) - Spanakopita - first time having this and it was good! The flakiness of the pastry was done perfectly - Turkish Meatballs - I'm not a huge meatball fan, but appreciated the small spicy kick to it - Moroccan Roasted Carrots - delicious for veggies, though I would've liked more pistachios - Truffle Filet Skewer - my friends ordered this and I only had a bite, but wow. The outside was nicely grilled, but was unbelievably tender and melted in your mouth. This was by far the best thing of the night and I'd go back just for this We were also celebrating a few birthdays and the server was kind to surprise us with desserts and a candle! Unsure what it was, but it tasted like a vanilla bean filling with a lemon cake inside, topped with berries and a chocolate plaque with Happy Birthday. As for drinks, I'm a sucker for anything strawberry guava so asked to have it as a mocktail and it wasn't too bad! A bit sweet and tart, but refreshing for the hot weather. Will definitely be back when the weather's cooler, as their rooftop is massive with the views all around and for that filet skewer alone. There's also a parking garage across from valet parking Thea will validate at their hostess table.

From the reservation to the dessert this place is always hands down incredible!! Best private table for my daughter's 21st, we had amazing service and delicious food and drinks! Always coming back for more and especially with a sunset view of the mountains. We started with the Greek street fries, fried calamari and muhammara dip... best dip!! Ended up ordering grilled skirt steak, margherita flatbread and the Greek salad. I honestly don't have a favorite bc I haven't had a bad item on this menu. Just do family style like we did and order everything to share. The drinks were delicious as well, frozé sangria and the skinny marg were great but the Whiskey sours are spectacular!

This restaurant came highly recommended from Scottsdale friends, so we had to try it while we were in town for a girls weekend. We went early for the sunset and it was spectacular! There are so many outside tables and the rooftop wraps around the entire restaurant, so there are views from both sides. The servers are used to people taking photos so they jump right into help take a picture of the group. Our server could not have been more friendly and helpful. He suggested great dishes, explained some unique terms, and made us feel like we were hanging out with our best friend. The drinks were delicious. The appetizers were amazing. And the entrées were fabulous. We were celebrating a birthday so they were so kind to bring out a dessert for us. Everything was fabulous and I highly recommend. The prices are a little bit on the high side, but to be expected for such a trendy upscale restaurant. Even on a Sunday night, it was super busy and people were, dressed up! We left around 7 o'clock and by that time every seat was filled with people waiting for a table.

This place has a nice feel that can be upscale but still can wear jeans and a nice shirt too as well. We got seated quickly with our reservation and ordered some drinks. I got the skinny margarita and we ordered the hummus and loaded fries. Then I ordered the chicken kabobs and she ordered the lamb. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazing. We ended it with flourless chocolate cake and it really was so good.

The brood was back in town for my wife's birthday and father's day weekend. We elected to go and celebrate at Thea. Our grown boys have not been to Thea and requested we go. Reservations were made, nice clothes were worn and off we went for fine dining with a fashion side-show that Thea is known for. The staff is very attentive. We ordered the goddess of all dips, six different mezze, fresh grilled bread and raw veggies. This was delicious and the varied dips were very good. The mantis dumplings had spiced beef, Greek yogurt, crispy garlic and chili. The dumplings were moist, tasty and well flavored. The Moroccan roasted carrots with harrisa, aleppo honey, herbs, feta and pistachios were scrumptious. The sumac yams with rose petal harrisa, whipped labneh and sumac date glaze were equally impressive. These veggie dishes were the highlight of the night and I can't stop raving about them. The stood out in a great way. The kebobs with chicken, kofta and gyro skewers were decent but not even close to the veggie dishes. This place was the go-to-spot when they opened but "the bloom is off the lily". Perhaps, the newness has worn off or the kitchen staff has changed at Thea. Don't get me wrong they are still good, but the costs today don't seem to match the quality of food. If you are looking for good food, a great crowd to watch and killer Camelback views at sunset, give Thea a try.

Came here for dinner during a girls weekend and did not disappoint. Incredible view of camelback mountain Our server was so kind, helpful, and fun to chat with Ordered the fries, whipped ricotta (the pita is comes with ), falafel, chicken skewers and sushi. Would order it all again except maybe not the fries. Highlight of the night was their take on an old fashioned. Delicious.

* Thea is located on top of the Global Ambassador Hotel. The parking is not in this hotel unless you want valet then just bring your Bentley to the front. Lols When you turn into the hotel you will see another building of fancy apartments across from the Global. Go to the side of that building and you will see an opening for the parking garage. Keep your ticket and Thea will validate it for free parking. * Make sure you wear something nice. Doesn't have to be fancy but no ripped t shirts and joggers up in here. Lols * Ressies is a must. There is a $25 fee to hold it so if you're a no show you pay that I thought it would be snooty walking into this hotel but not the case, I was greeted warmly by a gentleman inside who pointed to the elevators. The elevators are located on the right side when you walk in. Take it all the way to the top for Thea. There is inside and outside seating. I told the hostess my friends were already seated outside so I took a quick walk around to find them. One side has a great view of the Camelback mountains while the other side is nothing exciting. We sat in the middle on the couches and planned to take pics of the views later anyways. There is a brunch menu but you can also order off their regular menu. Food is kinda pricey but we just ordered a bunch of appies to share and it was pretty reasonable between the four of us. Everything was delish - baba ghanoush, manti dumplings, roasted broccolini, calamari, Brussels sprouts, feta or Brie (I forgot which one) and honey, and the truffle flatbread. My friend didn't care for the latter saying it was too much truffle but I love truffle so give it all to me. Lols My friends got cocktails and said they were good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My only gripe is at the end when I asked the hostess who was was walking towards me if she could take a quick picture of my friends and I. We were already standing there and ready. She didn't even stop, kept walking and said no I'm busy I can't right now. I used to work at a restaurant so I get it. But if it was me I would have at least stopped and acknowledged the customer. Even though it only takes seconds to take a quick pic. No biggie, I took a selfie of us, we walked out and I saw the same hostess just standing up front chatting away with another hostess or staff that I overheard wasn't work related. Oh lawd....

Everything, and I mean everything was fantastic - the view, ambience, staff, drinks and of course, each bite of food we consumed. With no reservation on a very busy Wednesday, we were seated within 5-10 minutes. While we waited we took in the breathtaking views of the mountains from the rooftop patio that apparently wraps around the restaurant. This must be the place to be seen, since there were many beautifully dressed diners, as well as casually dressed ones, too. As soon as we were seated, our waiter greeted us and took our drink orders - sangria frose. So refreshing on a sweltering 100 degree Phoenix evening. I asked for recommendations, and I seemed like he pointed out every item on the menu. We ordered several- spicy tuna with crispy rice, manti dumplings, tabbouleh, baba ganoush with pita points, lamb pita, olive oil lemon cake. He didn't steer us wrong -- every single bite was delicious! In and out in 90 minutes. Food came out quickly and hot/freshly prepared. I wish I could take the tabbouleh on the plane, it was so good!

I absolutely loved Thea! We were celebrating both myself and my friend's birthdays, so they gave us two free deserts! They were super cute mini ice cream cakes that were so delicious. We ended up switching from the bar to a table as our reserved seats on the rooftop were closed due to rain, but all the service workers were very kind about the situation. They are also very vegetarian friendly. My friends and I ordered a bunch of the sharable, and everything was delicious. The highlight was definitely the sweet feta dip though. They also give you extra pita once you run out. The falafel were a bit more spicy than expected, so watch out for that. Overall, the atmosphere or the restaurant is very nice and the food is delicious. A super great experience and I'd love to go again.

Michael made our experience at Thea more amazing then we could imagine. 100/10 service and energy. The whipped ricotta and dumplings are the perfect appetizers. We got a good mix of entrees and shared. Can't wait to come back!

What an amazing restaurant! From the minute you walk in, the ambience is refreshing and takes you away to another place. It's absolutely beautiful. Let's talk about that epic view! Whether you're inside or outside, there are views for days. There really is not a bad seat in the house. Now drinks and food. Our group had many different types of cocktails, and nobody was disappointed. We chose to do a ton of small dishes and everything was absolutely phenomenal. There was not one bad dish. We were celebrating my husband's 50th and they brought over his favorite dessert to end our meal. Definitely hoping to return on my next visit.

Christmas dinner with my sister, the resort is fabulous and Thea is a rooftop restaurant with multiple seating possibilities, for casual drinks or a private dinner. The service was attentive and considerate, never felt pushed or rushed to move to the next dish. We had the grilled octopus, the truffle filet skewer and the Branzino. All were delicious.

Nice views, nice drinks. Very sophisticated vibe. I don't have much to say about the food because I only tried the calamari. But I enjoyed my time there, it was a cute restaurant to get drinks with the girls.
