We saw "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" at Theatre Arlington tonight! What a great play- the acting was incredible and made me feel like I was part of the action. I loved the special effects and their use of the modular set! Go see this one- you’ll be amazed at how wonderful it is!

Took adult acting here. And saw steel magnolias last year. Plan to see more exciting plays here and hopefully audition also for near future.

This was a planned event with several members from my church. The theater is somewhat old but it was clean. The theater staff and cast members in the play were professional and courteous. The Cast members came out greeted, took pictures and held conversations with the audience. I took several pictures with them. We enjoyed every second of the event.

Beware - In The Heights is Offensive. 50% of the play is in Spanish. Show management makes fun of English speaking guests in the audience with no apology. Do not attend this offensive play

Just saw Chicken and Biscuits at Theatre Arlington. It was one of the best shows that I have seen here yet. The cast was amazing and I have not laughed that much in a long time. The entire show takes place as the audience attends the Patriarch's funeral of rival sisters and their "just out" gay brother. Can I get an "AMEN?" Go see it if you can. Theatre Arlington has been renovated and the BARlington features some nice selections. You can even order when you walk in for intermission and it will be waiting for you. No lines.

Yelp
This is the place to go for some great local theater!!! I have come here off and on for years! Thankfully they send me emails, bc I tend to forget about this place! The most recent play we came to was "Dead mans cell phone". It was an enjoyable and comical production. They offer student discounts 30 min before the play. If the production is not sold out, you can buy a student ticket for only $5!!! What a great deal! Regular priced tickets are around $25. This is still a reasonable price for an enjoyable afternoon/ evening of local theater! Sign up for emails to be updated on future plays!

Yelp
Went to see "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". The show is billed as having a cast of "Teens and Tweens" and as such had numbers of children in the audience. The shows bathroom humor, four letter words and bawdiness escalated throughout the show. Including a running gag about "hamsters'(think bedroom) and an entire song about an erection(children in front row). My wife and I finally walked out when 'a Jesus' suddenly came swinging on a rope from side stage bumbling around. This was a lewd and crude punch in the face to unsuspecting families. They should have billed this as "Skip's Naughty and Bawdy Spelling Glee".

Yelp
This theater is a great local spot, they always have good shows. The theater is small so any seat you get is going to be good. They offer refreshments and snacks before the play and during intermission. If you're into the arts you should check it out and support local talent.

Yelp
We went to see Plaid Tidings Holiday Edition of Forever Plaid during 2017 holiday period. Larger venue than expected and excellent show. Going to see local community performance is always fun. They did a good job. UPDATE Sep 2018 We had a fun time at '9-5' the musical for Sun matinee. Ordered tickets online and waiting at will call. No hassle. Talented cast and funny entertaining show.

Yelp
We were so impressed with the production of Rent! This theater had surprisingly good sound. Seats were all good. I would definitely visit again. Prices with tax were only $26! Great date night!

Yelp
Great venue for small live performances! Really enjoy coming here! Nice having a good live performance spot in Arlington so we don't always have to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth.

Yelp
A nice little theater near UTA in Arlington, not to far from the ballpark, six flags, etc. A good place to see a stage production of a lot of great local talent, which is great if you've got teenagers who want to run around the mall or one of the other attractions in the area and you want to do something a bit more cultured. They do a class for kids once a week for an hour and a half that sounded interesting but they are just far enough a way from home that it's just not do-able for us. I was at a Sunday afternoon matinee show of Rent with a friend who actually did the graphic design work for the '12-'13 season. It was awesome to get to see her work showcased on the wall. We enjoyed the show and actually got to congratulate some of the actors and stage hands on a great show as they came out. We will for sure be back, may bring my 4 year old for a show when they have one that she would be able to sit all the way through.

Yelp
Just went to see the production, Sylvia, last night. I didn't notice the "warning sign" before we went in that said "not meant for children under 16, Adult language". What I saw was not just adult language but vulgar, obscene language that was shouted across the theater. I haven't heard such filth in a very long time. The worst part was that this would have been a great play and the language was not necessary. I will not be returning to this theater for any production. They advertise as kid friendly. I think not!!!

Yelp
Quaint theatre but staffed with incredibly rude ushers...FYI...also difficult to manage for physically impaired patrons (several sets of stairs, etc.).

Yelp
OK this is not a movie theatre and it is not johnny highs country review , this is theatre Arlington . Literally the best kept secret in town . They put on high quality live productions that can make you either laugh hysterically or move you to tears . with a great professional staff you are taken care of completely . they have amazing student rush deals , as well as season subscriptions that make it worth the while to come back .
