An Olympian’s Guide to the Best Pastries in Vancouver

"A place praised for both its general food quality and its inventive doughnut textures, sharing a team with AnnaLena; he says, “The food there is really good in general — they share a team with AnnaLena. They also make some cool mochi doughnuts with such an interesting texture: a real chewiness from the mochi, but with the softness of a doughnut. So it has to be on the list. Their pastries and coffee are also very good.”" - Aman Dosanj

My friend and I came here on a Sunday morning a little before 9am because we've never been successful getting in during regular brunch hours. If you can believe it or not, there was still a line! But it was really short so we got in as soon as they opened their doors. We ordered a black sesame mochi donut, the shakshuka, and the avocado benny. We both thought the donut was way too sweet (especially the icing) and I could barely taste the black sesame. The avocado benny was recommended by the staff and I really liked the flavours. There was a unique citrus taste to it which I enjoyed, but the hollandaise sauce was a bit salty. The tater tots were pretty average in my opinion and the portion was kind of small for the price. My friend enjoyed the shakshuka and thought it was pretty good! Overall, I was kind of disappointed because we had been trying to come here for months now, so maybe our expectations were too high. I thought the food was pretty average for the price point, but I'll probably return to try out their cereal milk mochi donut!

If you're looking for a fantastic branch to satisfy your sweet tooth, I highly recommend checking them out. Their mochi donut is truly a standout. It has the perfect balance of chewy mochi texture with a crispy, slightly sweet glaze on the outside. Their flavours are innovative, offering options like egg nog and whatnot. Aside from the mochi donuts, Good Branch offers a variety of other delicious treats and beverages, but the mochi donut alone is worth the visit. Whether you're a donut lover or just looking to try something new, this place won't disappoint!

We went today at 11am and waited about 30mins before being seated. Due to the weekend crowds, I heard that later arrivals had an average wait time of an hour. Then it took about 20 to 30mins for all the food to be served, but it was worth the wait. Their beef brisket hash and the benedict are delicious, but the best is the cereal milk mochi donut, definitely a must-try! Their hojicha latte is also nice!!! The last, during our meal, we had an unpleasant experience. The server who handled the situation was very professional, and we were very satisfied with the speed and result of the handling. We will definitely come again!

Google
We went to Their There for brunch on a weekday, so the place was calm and not too crowded. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which created a comfortable start to the meal. The food itself was tasty and well prepared, although the prices were a little on the higher side for what we ordered. The only part that disappointed me was the coffee. It did not taste fresh and it had a slightly burnt flavor. Overall the experience was nice and the food was enjoyable.

Google
Have gone here for takeout and brunch dine-in. The mochi donuts (brown butter and strawberry yakult) were really good (5 stars). Perfect chew but note they do sell out quick on the weekends so go early morning! The brunch experience was average. It took approx 1 hour to get a table on a Sat (you put your phone number down). The fried chicken and pancakes were ok but small portion for the price. The dine-in space is pretty small and can get pretty loud but the servers were friendly.

Google
I had such a wonderful experience at Their and There! I ordered the avocado eggs Benedict, focaccia, and a café latte, and every single item was spot on. The avocado eggs Benedict was creamy and flavorful, with perfectly poached eggs that made the dish feel indulgent yet fresh. The focaccia was light, airy, and full of that rustic flavor you only get when it’s baked just right. And the café latte tied everything together with a smooth, rich finish. Beyond the food, the overall vibe of the place is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a spot where everything from the food to the atmosphere comes together so well, but Their and There really nails it. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Went with a group of friends and waited 45 minutes before we got a table. The wait from the time we ordered and drinks coming and then the food coming was quite a delay. Friendly staff though. It was worth the wait. I scarved down my Beef Brisket Hash in a flash since it was so tasty and easy to eat, plus hunger is a good spice. Tried out my friend's Chicken & Pancake with shaved foie gras. Regretted not getting it. Was unfortunate I couldn't try everything but I'll come back again some day to try the other items in the menu, including those delicious sounding mochi donuts.

Google
The best brunch in Vancouver right now! The food was exceptional, combined with a coffee shop level coffee it was all I needed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming too.

Yelp
Cute place. So pack when I got there. Parking is tough, because it was in the main street. So decided just get their mochi donuts. They have: Cereal milk Ube coconut Brown sugar So good. Chewy. A tad too sweet for me. But I still like it.

Yelp
1:48 pm on a thursday. walking around kits on a miserable rainy day, i made my way to their there on west fourth, looking for shelter from the downpour. puddles everywhere, umbrellas colliding, that familiar vancouver rhythm of drizzle and grey. inside, the air felt warm, sweet, and familiar. the baristas were friendly, easy smiles, quick chatter, the kind that instantly softens the day. i ordered a caramel apple oat matcha latte, an interesting combination of matcha, apple syrup, oat milk and caramel drizzle. it arrived in a warm, heavy glass, pale green beneath a drizzle of caramel that caught the light. the first sip tasted like apple pie in a cup, thick, decadent, soft sweetness, buttery caramel, and the mellow depth of oat milk. underneath it all, the matcha gave just enough bitterness to keep it grounded. rich, cozy, slightly over the top, but exactly right for a day like this. i used to come here a lot for their mochi donuts. the black sesame one caught my eye, followed closely by the brown butter, sitting neatly in the display case. i thought about it for a moment or two, then looked away. my small act of restraint. rain tapped steadily against the window. people came and went, shaking off umbrellas, brushing water from their sleeves. outside was cold and miserable, but inside, it felt still, warm, fragrant, and safe from the weather.

Yelp
always a long long line unless you order takeout super chewy donut, the hojicha taste is really strong (a good thing) but doesn't match well on a donut imo

Yelp
I love this place! It was my first time coming in for brunch, though I'd visited once pre-pandemic just for coffee with a friend. I'm so glad I finally made it back -- it's just as good (if not better!) than I remembered. The vibe is busy yet welcoming -- clean, modern, and full of energy. I ordered the beef brisket hash with an Americano, and it hit the spot. The flavours came together perfectly -- hearty, balanced, and satisfying. Definitely felt like a nutritious brunch bowl done right! What I also appreciate is their efficient seating policy, which means you don't have to wait too long to be seated (a rare brunch win in Vancouver!). The staff are friendly, attentive, and keep things moving smoothly. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a solid brunch experience that's both delicious and well-run.

Yelp
This place is super cute and has fantastic food. The breakfast sandwich is one of the best on the continent. And the spicy fried chicken was super good and incredibly decadent. The staff were all very friendly and lively.

Yelp
Was very excited to try Their There its pretty hyped up in my age group. The ambience was friendly and well lit. Be aware theres a bit of a wait for tables. Once seated I ordered the hojicha latte and the avocado benedict. My friend had one of the breakfast sandwiches. Sadly i really disliked the hojicha. It's been my go to order at cafes; and this one was the worst of the bunch. Wasn't smooth atoll. Tasted heavily seaweed-ey. ...And I hate to report that the avocado Benedict was disappointing and tasted heavily of vinegar. Perhaps it was the tomato jam, but i REALLY disliked both. It was very busy so the server only checked in at the end of the meal. But it was very evident that I barely touched my breakfast. Not blaming them, just making a note. I wont be returning. My friend swears I need to give their matcha and donuts a chance. And she really enjoyed her sandwich. Sad to say i dont recommend.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the mochi donut is sold out when I arrived at around 2 pm, so I didn't try it. I got the matcha latte and the shakshouka. It was a heartwarming meal with great balance of herbs and tomato along with a runny egg and a side of crunchy bread. The beef brisket is another great option for a delicious meal. It's crunchy and very flavorful. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, the place is full and we waited 30 minutes for two. It was well worth the wait. Would love to come here again for the mochi donuts :)

Yelp
Dare I say up there for one of the best fried chicken sandos I've ever had. I got the spicy fried chicken and everything about it hit the spot. The sesame zucchini pickles had a good crunch and was packed with flavor. There was a good amount of spice and the lime aioli really pulled everything together. The tater tots were golden and had a crispy outside which I loved. Definitely enough to share with a friend. The lychee matcha tonic blew me away. I've never had anything quite like it but it was so refreshing and was not overly sweet. The staff was friendly and there was a decent amount of seating. It was decorated nicely as well. A 10/10 from me :)

Yelp
We came for the donuts, thanks social media. But in reality, this is a dope coffee shop to check out for brunch. Inside it's clean, with nods to hip hop culture - BearBricks and sneakers used for decor. The vibe is simple - the food is executed well. Hojicha Latte - amazing. The notes of toasted rice pair perfectly with the creamy milk (in my case oat milk). It seems pretty popular in BC, and had I known, I'd probably be ordering more. Delish! Chicken sandwich - crispy, thin fried chicken breast. It's not over seasoned or over dressed, and best of all, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy. The bread is nice and soft! Brisket hash - the corned beef was tender, flavor packed and there was a huge amount nestled amongst the tots, hollandaise and poached eggs. Speaking of poached eggs, they were cooked to perfection. The micro green salad on top had a nice acidity and added balance. Donuts - pan and brown butter donuts just wow. Never have we had mochi donuts like this and I'm really perplexed why more places don't do it this way. Fried like a regular donut instead of shot out of a weird beaded form, it's chewy and crispy. It is the best version of a mochi donut made my mankind. Bravo. Come here. The neighborhood is cute and a nice stroll after brunch.

Yelp
Excellent food. Very much recommend their beef brisket hash. They had a good amount of beef with their dish and the flavours were well balanced. The staff was constantly available and food was served quick.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a few colleagues, so since I was in the neighborhood I stopped by to get a mochi donut. I got the raspberry lychee donut and oh my goodness it was soo good. The texture was nice and chewy, but still fluffy like a donut. I wish there was a location closer to me because I definitely would be coming here more often.

Yelp
A notable breakfast spot that foodies in vancouver know! It's busy usually for a reason, I've gone two times and thankfully didn't have to wait for a table. The menu is quite small and they're known for their mochi donuts. I must say best mochi donuts I have ever had. They rotate flavours once a while. Recently tried Pandan coconut and it changed my life, a viet girl dream The bennie's are simply and delicious with a side of tater tots. I highly recommend the Matcha pistachio rose latte as well. The ambiance is casual, with beige cafe with natural lighting. There is a selective amount of seats but they make use of it.

Yelp
We went for brunch but we'd been there before for coffee and donuts. The service is great and the dishes we had (brisket hash & pancakes and waffles) were both good and had some creative flair. When you do the restaurant part here expect the modern higher prices, smaller portion but high quality. I like this place because it really seems to have dialed in the model of having people come for take-away small stuff, or sitting down for a meal and are decent at both.
google avatar

Fonda C.

Yelp
I got there around 1:40 on a sunday. And it was estimated for a 45 mins wait for two. Our table was ready within 20 mins. The food came out quickly and the beef brisket hash had a very good amount of beef.
google avatar

Elaine L.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the brunch here - it's a cozy spot with reasonable prices and quick service! - Fried Chicken Sandwich ($16): loved the crunchy fried chicken with the tangy pickle - Beef Brisket Hash ($22): such delicious bites when theres a little bit of the tater tots, pea shoots, hollandaise, and the beef brisket! Also loveeed the mochi milk donut ($5), so delicious and unique!

Yelp
Wonderful cafe. Top notch espresso drinks and food. Excellent spot for breakfast, lunch and coffee needs

Yelp
So good. Expect a wait if you come on a Saturday like I did, but it is totally worth it. Sadly they were out of donuts by the time I arrived so I didn't get to try those, but I thoroughly enjoyed what I did have. I ordered an oat milk flat white and the egg & tomato breakfast sandwich with a side of avocado. The flat white was artfully crafted and tasted how it should. And the sandwich...oh my gosh. I am going to be dreaming of that later for sure! The bread was soft and slightly sweet but still structurally sound, the egg was fluffy, and the tomato jam and sauce were flavorful, perfect accompaniments. The sourdough crunch was a fantastic addition as well! The avocado was excellent too...it was mixed with something (maybe pesto?) and had a great taste. Service was friendly as well. An absolute great start to my Vancouver visit. Thank you, Their There!

Yelp
Was around the area, and decided to visit even though it was raining. I bought 2 doughnuts togo which cost me $10 in total. I love their mochi doughnut, it's chewy while still airy and not too dense. Flavour is more on the sweeter side which is not my thing but still it's a great place. I hope one day they would make savoury doughnuts.

Yelp
Went to Their There after it's been on my to-go list for a long while. Super busy even on a weekday - waited probably around 40minutes for a table for 2. Once seated, the interior is very aesthetic - love the muted wooden tones. Tables at the back are much more spacious than the space out front. I ordered the pancakes and chicken with tater tots, flat white, and a cereal milk donut. Total bill came out to $43.58 which is quite pricy for the amount of food we got. Chicken was decent but nothing special. I did like the pancakes though, very fluffy and the sweetness mostly came from the syrup and whipped cream. Tater tots were SUPER salty for some reason. They were highly recommended on Google but I don't understand the hype for this. Flat white was tasty as well. Cereal milk donut was really sweet but I did like the texture/mochi-ness of the donut itself. Super filling and best to split with someone if you don't have a large appetite. Would return to grab some donuts and coffee to go but am not inclined to return to dine-in.
google avatar

Yelp
Always go to for the mochi cornflakes doughnut. Service is great and ambience ... seems ok, a little too noisy for me.. typically just do a take out for the doughnuts.
google avatar

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Grabbed two donuts to go around 11am. I've had Mochi Donuts from TT plenty of times before, did they change formula or did I get a bad batch? Both Cereal and Sesame's base was so dense, with lack of chew. Cereal was slightly better in flavour however they really are adhering to "not that sweet" motto. I like my dessert/donut to actually taste "somewhat sweet". Sesame was too mild. If I wasn't the one ordering, or taken a picture, it was a tough guess. I later went home to ready my palate with milk before consuming. It wasn't much of an improvement. At almost 5ish dollars a donut before tip. I'd have to pass now. One more sour note is when paying, they really are looking/pressing you to hit TIP on a takeaway order. The sound of my donuts tossed on the counter top was memorable as clearly I failed to tip enough.

Yelp
I was driving by on 4th while visiting Vancouver and this place caught my eye because it has such a great name. I ended up coming back the next day with my partner and her friend to try it out and it was soooo worth it. I've never had shakshouka before and now I have such high expectations if I try it anywhere else because it was perfect. The homemade focaccia completes it too. The peach cobbler matcha was a little bit too sweet for me but it's a unique flavor I've never seen before so had to give it a try. Service was great, all the people who work here are super friendly and cool. The decor inside is a vibe & loved the plants everywhere and wooden counters. Definitely coming back when I'm in town again!
google avatar

Queenie L.

Yelp
Cereal Milk Doughnut I didn't feel like the glaze tasted a lot like cereal milk but it just tasted rather sweet. I am a fan of the cereal they put on top as it was a nice balance of textures on top of the doughnut. I definitely recommend this place for their mochi donuts. I feel like they do it so well and its perfectly chewy and mochi-like.
google avatar

Carissa T.

Yelp
Amazing eggs benny and amazing mochi donut. Go early so you don't miss out! Love that they give you kewpie mayo with your tater tots, so fun. Also the staff is super friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Having been following them on IG for a while, I was excited to finally pay them a visit during my stay in Vancouver and it did not disappoint. We came in on a weekday for brunch and were able to get seated right away. It's a pretty cute space, bigger than I'd expected. Both food and drinks were delicious. Portions were pretty generous. We tried one of the mochi donuts and liked it so much that we ended up getting the 2 other flavors available and a miso chocolate chip cookie to go. Service was friendly and attentive at all times. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Yelp
My fave mochi donuts in Vancouver! I've tried many spots but their there is the best. I went in on Sunday around 10am. They had paid parking outside at the front which was great. Didn't need to stay long as I just wanted to grab some donuts. They are $5 each and worth it. They do change the flavors but I enjoyed the white rabbit and brown sugar. The churro had some spiciness to it. Service was quick and attentive. They did look busy if you wanted to sit down and eat. I can't wait to be back to try their chicken sandwich and ofcourse for more mochi donuts!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute rainbow UFO coffee cups that will zap you into awakedness. So many little details in the shop, loved the elegantly relaxed and cozy feel with the greenery accents. Very cute spot for a relaxing coffee date. They've also got pastries that I gotta check out next time. I got a Flat White ($4.50+): kinda small for the price, but it's the price you pay for a fancy respectable coffee shop I guess. You're also paying for the experience. Staff/barista was also very friendly. Their coffee menu is quite small, just the basic/classic espresso drinks. Also, I didn't know that they're from the same team as AnnaLena, a Michelin Guide Restaurant in downtown. Parking is pretty crappy around here, but it's worth the visit!
google avatar

Jeanie N.

Yelp
Love this cafe! Bfast sandwiches are great and thoughtful. A lot of potential to be boring but some of the egg sandwiches add crunchy bits and play with the texture. Really delightful Matcha mochi donut I thought was just ok. Needed more matcha flavor. Not worth the calories in my opinion Fried chicken sandwiches for lunch are also great! How can fried chicken be bad? Lol Love that they source coffee from around the world and have really cool rotating roasters from Copenhagen to Saigon
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
Bacon Benedict was very good, a bit tart, but the eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was ideal crispness. The tater tots are the best I've had. It's a bit cramped inside.
google avatar

Mahak M.

Yelp
Love this spot for coffee and brunch! The miso chocolate chip cookie is to die for! Make sure you get here early as the line up for bunch started even before opening hours

Yelp
Their There has launched their NEW brunch menu and it is definitely worth checking out. I am in love with their chicken & waffles and tater tots. Their tater tots are crispy and come with a delicious coating that makes it irresistible. We Tried: Chicken & Waffles $22 Bacon & Everything Spice $21 Iced Latte Mochi Doughnuts x3 $5 My favourite mochi doughnut was their cereal mocha doughnut. Parking: street parking on a weekday was $6/hour Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

Yelp
This is the best mochi donut shop that I've tried in Vancouver! I will definitely come here again! First of all, the shop is so aesthetic! There's seatings at the back as well as open area seating in the front. There are also many goodies sold in the store too! There's candles, home decor, diffusers etc available for purchase. We got the birthday cake cold brew and it was so good! There was a nice amount of cream added and it reminded me of dunkaroos. I also appreciate that my drink was filled to the rim! The mochi donuts all have the same base, but the texture was incredible! Not too sweet and it was chewy! The white rabbit reminded me of the white rabbit candies I've had in the past. The cereal flavour had a nice texture from the cereal. And raspberry was my favourite! It was sweet and had some tart in it too, which makes it a good balance. Really, you can't go wrong with any of the donuts to be honest! I'll definitely come back and try out the other items in the menu!

Yelp
This was our first stop on the donut trail and it was such a good start. After doing some research, I knew I wanted at least 1 crueler and 1 mochi donut. I love crueller so I was expecting to like it better than the mochi donut but surprisingly I love the mochi donut!!!! I got the blueberry pancakes crueller which came with a "slab of butter". The crueler was soft and fluffy and flavor was there. The "butter" brought a difference taste to it as well which was nice. For some reason though, it didn't really work. I thought the flavor would work better on a different type of donut than a crueller. I also got the milk cereal mochi donut. This is not a typical mochi donut like those ring mochi donut. They are more like Asian pastry mochi, and it's denser and more mochi. It was awesome. The crunch from the cereal also brought a nice balance. The donuts are a little pricier but it's not bad at all. I also like that the place serves so much other stuff besides coffee and donuts. They have sandwiches and beer and other food and drinks so you can literally come here any time of the day and have something good!!

Yelp
I was determined to find a unique and cute coffee shop during my trip to Vancouver and I nailed it with Their There! Wonderful coffee and a clean cool space overall. Service was so nice and friendly. But the unique things were: -the variety of fun Mochi donuts! Wow. And they are the most Mochi-y of the Mochi donuts I've had. So fresh and chewy. -the crueler flavors were so neat too. Really enjoy the blueberry pancake. I didn't try it but I want to come back for the espresso martini, the smash burger (fridays) and then also the breakfast sandwiches. Thanks team for a great spot I'll come back to again and again during my trips to Vancouver.

Yelp
Only four words to say: THE BEST DOUGHNUTS EVER! I would come back here over and over again just for their Mochi donuts. Highly highly recommend! Be cautious that it can be a bit of a wait on a weekend - but if you are here just for takeout, note that you don't need to wait in line!
google avatar

Bea F.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and would absolutely give it 5 stars if it was a tad more affordable. The ambiance is hip yet comfortable, the service is always friendly, and everything i've tried (drinks/food) is delicious. BUT the prices are extremely inflated. My matcha latte w/ oat milk (which only comes in one size) cost $8.13, which is insane! And yes, I know milk alternative is extra, but even without it, ~$7 is still not cheap for a 10-12oz drink. For an occasional treat I'll stop by, but it is way too expensive to visit regularly.
google avatar

Aidan M.

Yelp
Went for brunch and had a delicious brisket, tater tot, poached egg bowl of amazingness. Had a bite of everyone else's dish in my party and every single one was off the chain. Finished with their Mochi Donuts and those were really good as well. Definitely recommend this place for a satisfying meal.
google avatar

Paris L.

Yelp
I've only ever had the coffee here, but decided to give the lunch menu a try and I'm so glad I did! I had the tomato and egg sandwich, and everything about it was perfect. The bread was soft and slightly sweet, making every bite delicious. My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich, and he loved it too. We were seated by the window on a cold, rainy day, and the warmth inside made it so cozy. The service was excellent, and to top it all off, my favorite song from my favorite movie played while we ate. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
They're at Their There. And by they're, I mean everyone - friends, couples, families, etc. This coffee shop is small, mighty, and extremely busy. If you, like me, are planning to get some work done on a laptop, think again as it's strictly no laptop, no tablet with a recommended 1-hour seating time to accommodate the crowd. That said, Their There is still a great place to crack open a book, catch up with a friend, or grab a quick meal. The menu for both drinks and food looks absolutely scrumptious - with offerings like a Chocolate Miso Latte ($5.75) and White Rabbit Mochi Donut ($4.25), both of which I ordered, and Baby Kale & Crispy Brussels Sprout ($10) and Sausage & Egg Sandwich ($13), which I'd like to order next time. It's not everyday that you hear chocolate, miso, and latte uttered within the same breath, but these elements - all extraordinary on their own - only work to enhance the depth of flavour within this staple drink. I would say the Latte here is richer and more savoury, yet not overly sweet due to the addition of miso. By the same token, the Asian fusion theme was carried over to their Donut. It was certainly nostalgic to see one of my favourite candies growing up be the highlight of a classic Western snack. Not only that, the mochi interior made for a delightful chew and gave the donut yet another twist. It was surprisingly not as sweet as I expected either, and I found myself picking at the bits of White Rabbit flakes that fell onto my plate. Menu items aside, Their There also has a section for snacks, books, and home and lifestyle items. The lineup strategically wraps around this section, so that you cannot help but to browse while waiting in line. As far as seating goes, there are some window seats in the store area, as well as a raised platform for table seating. Depending on the time of day and your party size, there may be a wait, but the 1-hour limit for diners should reduce that. All in all, Their There is great if you're looking for a quick bite and want to try something more unique. However, if you're seeking a place to study or work, you may be better off seeking another coffee shop.

Yelp
These amazing mochi donuts I finally came here early enough on the weekend to try the donuts. They sell out quick! I got the white rabbit mochi donut, breakfast pancake cruller (3.75) and cereal milk mochi donut (4.25) My favorite was the white rabbit mochi donut. The flavor was sweet and reminded me of the white rabbit candy I used to eat as a child. It tasted so soft unlike other mochi donuts, it was not doughy or chewy at all The Breakfast Pancake cruller was also tasty like a pancake, and also has a soft texture with a piece of 'butter' on top Eat them while they were fresh!

Yelp
I'd seen photos of an assortment of mochi donuts, but when I came in they only had the cereal milk and brown sugar ones on display. That was fine though, as their CEREAL MILK MOCHI DONUT ($5) is hands down the best mochi donut I've ever had -- so chewy with a wonderful crunch from the cereal topping.

Yelp
A very aesthetic coffee bar that also serves donuts along with a few other items such a special flavored pringles and other random items like notebooks. When you first enter, you're hit by a nice aroma of coffee. I tried the Black Forest and Pancake Breakfast Crueller, and the White Rabbit Mochi Donut. All deserve a 10/10 rating. These people know what they're doing here! I love how light and fluffy the cruellers are and how soft and chewy the mochi donut is. It's absolutely amazing and their flavors are on point. I am in love with this place and highly recommend it. I don't think anything here could disappoint.

Yelp
Decided to stop by Their There for a late lunch. No lineup which was nice. I remember this spot as a cafe but now they offer table service and brunch. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich ($17). It was super delicious, juicy, and actually spicy which I really enjoy. I also got an oat milk latte which was smooth and tasty. The latte was $5 but the oat milk was $1. Wish the milk alternatives weren't so expensive. Total meal came to $24.15 - which is quite pricey. Overall vibes were good and attentive service but price point and no wifi = I'll get coffee and maybe mochi donut for takeout next time.

Yelp
I only got their mochi doughnuts for takeout and loved every flavour - black sesame, white rabbit and cereal milk. I would return to try additional flavours and their lattes. The decor is tasteful and the cafe had a nice vibe. There was a huge line for dine in around 1pm on a Sunday, so be prepared to wait! I didn't see that takeout was just walk in at first and I think many others didn't either as some people followed us in. Highly recommend checking them out!

Yelp
I dropped by on a sunny Sunday morning. The place was busy with indoor and patio seating. Luckily, you can walk in to grab take-out, which I did. Only three types of mochi donuts today. I grabbed an Americano along with the cereal milk and the brown butter mochi donuts. These donuts were squishy and packed with flavour. The cereal milk donut was balanced and cereal added some crispy texture. The brown butter donut was a real treat. It was simple but satisfying. I'll have to come back sometime for brunch, their sit down menu looked delicious.

Yelp
BEST MOCHI DONUTS & SANDWICHES!! The mochi donuts and breakfast/chicken sandwiches are especially good here. We would love to come here more often if it weren't always so busy all the time since their seating area is quite small. If I had to rank the donuts in order from most to least favourite it would be cereal milk, white rabbit, and then glazed mochi donut. GLAZED MOCHI DONUT - tasted like what it is like a chewy glazed donut. It was simple and tasty but got too sweet near the end CEREAL MILK - our favourite one! loved the crunchy texture from the cereal and it wasn't too sweet WHITE RABBIT - really good and super squishy just got too sweet near the end

Yelp
Their rotating cold brew cream tops are divine, we need these in every city! Food didn't disappoint either, mochi donuts and the chicken sandwich are bomb!

Yelp
Mochi donuts are here are awesome! More airy than normal mochi donuts, which I really like. Decent brunch menu and great coffee. One of my favourite spots in Vancouver

Yelp
I have been to many good restaurants and cafes recently and no doubt There There is one of the must-go. As recommended by a friend I came here right after having the Japanese ramen nearby. I used to enjoy a cup of coffee after lunch to get my mind refreshed. This very cozy and plain colour theme cafe has a small area selling gifts and fancy stuffs like funny shape candles, coffee mugs and some well-being goods. I went deep inside the shop to the counter to order my coffee and donut. I heard the chicken Sandwich was great but I was full after lunch, Sinai only order a Bergabomb Cruller Donut with my coffee and a Matcha Latte for my beloved one. It was sunny day and we had the foods outside the shop at the patio. It didn't take long for the coffee. The server delivered the foods to us. I came with certain expectation and it did exceed my expectation. The donut made of Earl Gray and Dark Chocolate blended perfectly. It's sweetness matched the flavour of the Flat White very well. I could have an extra cup of Flat White. The Matcha Latte was excellent with the right portion of matcha powder and milk. The barista surely knows how to do things right. The shop and cafe area are very tidy and the staff is friendly. I will definitely come again to try the chicken sandwich, donuts and coffee.
