Unfortunately, I think this place has been more affected by covid than most. I visited Theo's Gyros over a year ago with my friend we ordered gyro's there and they were very delicious for a great price. Sadly, I returned today and saw that their prices had risen and the quality had dropped.
The guy who took my order and brought out the food to me was very nice and specified everything about my order because I ordered a greek salad, no pita, extra gyro meat, and tzatziki sauce.
I'm sad to say the salad was mostly lettuce only about 1 tomato sliced into quarters, a few olives, and barely any oil mainly just red wine vinegar. This wouldn't be a problem if it was $5 but I paid almost $10 for this alone. The gyro meat on the side was not seasoned well I could barely taste any salt and was an extra $5.50 on top of the salad I paid for plus $0.50 extra for Tzatziki sauce on the side (1 small cup).
In summary, I spent almost $16 not including tip on a small plate of mostly lettuce, unseasoned gyro meat, and a cup of Tzatziki sauce. That's basically the price of an entreé at any fancier restuarant.
When I visited over a year ago in comparison I paid $5 for a damn good gyro at a bargain price. The quality has unfortunately dropped and the price has risen. I would give this place a 2-star but because the wait staff was so nice and the fact that it used to be better I'll bump it up to a 3, average.
