Theos Hot Pizza

This place had the best star rating in the area and we were craving pizza so we decided to check it out. We ordered a Supreme pizza and after one piece each we ordered another one because it was so good we knew one pizza wouldn't be enough. Maybe we were just really hungry, but this pizza hit the spot and was delicious. You can get pizza by the slice or you can order a whole pizza, which is what we did. They cooked one up fresh really quick for us and the wait wasn't long at all. They're not really set up for an "in-store dining experience" but they do have four stools at a counter for people, which was great. We walked more than 20 minutes to get here and the guy was super nice about us eating in their shop and even got us paper plates. Overall, stellar experience and excellent pizza. I would definitely recommend.

Delectable pizzas if I do say so myself! So grateful they are here and open pretty late, too! Must try their pizzas, only one size and very easy to order what you want. Thank you THEO!!! chill spot and you can eat right out front if ya want!

Fantastic pizzas. Ordered 3 large specialty’s, all were amazing, and on one of them I added the catupiry cheese due to a bunch of other reviewers saying that to add that cheese is a good idea. It was worth the 7.99 up charge. That cheese is amazing! Pizza was also.

One of the better pizza options in PB, definitely worth a try. Slices are a good size and make up for the higher price per. One is enough for me unless I’m real hungry. Crust is pretty good, touch on the flakey side as if it could be worked a little longer in the initial knead.

I’m a big pizza fan, coming from Brooklyn I never met a pizza I didn’t like. I was excited that I was able to order a pizza that had two different specialty toppings. Went for the vegetable and the spicy meat. The vegetable had actual slices of tomato on it, which watered down the dough and made it soggy. No other vegetables were easily identified as everything was ground down, except for an occasional mushroom or onion. My husband side of the pizza was delivered as promised except again very soggy, and could not eat it without a knife and fork. The spicy part of his description included at pepperocini on top after it was baked. For some, this may be tasty but I was somewhat disappointed.

I always loved Theos Pizza, but sometimes it comes very average , today Theos deserves 5 stars!!! What an amazing tasty, hot and fresh Pizza. Thanks Theo! It was the best pizza I have ever had in San Diego!!! Congrats Theo!!!

My favorite pizza in San Diego right now. So amazing I love the texture of the crust and the size pizza you get for what you pay. Excellent choice if you want to go halves with a friend on dinner you cannot go wrong here. I try to get a large bacon and corn pizza any time I can.

With so many pizza joints to pick from, I saw a parking spot and decided to give it a shot. There was a Brazilian soda so that intrigued me. I wish I had time and more dough :) to try the cheese but opted for the white spinach, best green topping pizza life to date. The Brazilian soda was also spot on as it was not too carbonated. The owner Theo was working late and love his hustle. Def will stop by again and skip the chain names on the way (btw mention Neymar is ur fav soccer player) vibe was chill and old school which I loved.

Ordered delivery from Theo's tonight and everything was SO good! This was our first time ordering from here and we're definitely gonna keep them on rotation. We ordered the 'Theo's 3' for $39.99 and it's an amazing deal. We had the Hot Chicken Pizza, garlic knots, and chocolate strawberry pizza. The pizza was thin and the dough had a nice amount of salt and flavor. We loved that the chicken was shredded and not dry like a lot of other pizzas with chicken. The garlic knots were nice size and the chocolate strawberry pizza was the best! And all for $39.99...that is unheard of these days!

Yummy pizza spot right by the beach! We went twice during our beach vacay. They are quick and delicious, the pizza is light and flavorful. The garlic knots are huge and yummalicious! Quick, easy dinner especially when you have kids. The shop itself is small, so it's definitely a pickup spot only, can't dine in. There's no parking lot area around the shop, so we walked from our hotel each time. It was a nice scenic stroll just a little ways from the beach. The service was great over the phone and in person.

My girlfriend and I are visiting on vacation and the past two days our dinner plans either fell through or weren't planned. we LOVE theos! From the plain cheese with several delicious cheeses to the meat lover's. Everything is delicious, hot, and speedy!

I was expecting some greasy dried out pizza and it was delicious. We got two Brazilian styles (didn't see them on the menu) and they were actually pretty delicious. Honestly best pizza I've had in PB.

I have been a customer for a while and all the pizzas were delicious. On November 10th I ordered a sweet chocolate pizza with strawberries and the pizza was hard as a rock and burnt, making it impossible to eat. I had to throw it in the trash. I left a message on this restaurant's Instagram and to this day I have not received a response. I am disappointed.

Ordered delivery and our pizza came fast and hot. The crust was thin and tasty. The pizza was delicious. It took us no time to eat the whole thing. We didn't have any leftovers. This was delicious and perfect size. I highly recommend ordering from here. Being my daughter was with we didn't have any fun toppings but the selection looks great!

The pizza is pretty solid, got the half and half with the red hulk and white spinach. It's a great option to try 2 flavors at once. The crust is crisp and the toppings are plentiful and evenly spread out. The red hulk has a savory pesto on it that just works really well. Great flavor and well balanced. I like it over the white spinach but the white spinach was also good, I just liked the red hulk better. The large pizza that is advertised is just a 15 in pizza which in my opinion, is more of a medium sized pizza. Also, I had to pay cash because the card reader wasn't working l, but the employee was friendly. Inside is pretty small, but I'm assuming people mostly just do take out.

Ordered 22 pizzas for a birthday party and there was barely any leftover. My guests enjoyed the variety try of flavors and I really like the spinach pizza. I'd eat here again and highly recommend them for pizza parties. Also the service was great - the ordering and pickup was amicable and smooth.

No clue how this place gets good reviews. The pizza was a step down from Costco pizza and the garlic knots are horrible. Plus I saw who I assume is Theo in the kitchen wearing flip flops.....gross

Super friendly customer service and the guy on the pizza box serves you! Came in for a pie after thrusters and was glad I did! It was delicious the night of and delicious the next day too! The pizza is thin and crispy and the toppings are a perfect ratio. The crust has a great chew. Would eat again. Parking is tough but a great spot to take out for a beach day.

This is one of the great local pacific beach pizza spots!! Always delicious, on time and perfect portions for a very fair price! A medium feeds my husband and I both. We usually go for pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. I'd recommend Theos over other places on the same street. They're just better. Higher quality ingredients than competitors. Thank you Theos!!!

Wanted to check out what the good reviews were about. Very disappointing. The sauce is tasteless. The pizza is soft and doughy. $7 for a slice? Feels like I got robbed. I bet a bunch of drunk people inflate the rating odds this place.

Visiting PB. $4 Sign for a Slice drew me in. Great pizza selection; went with pepperoni + jalapeños. Crust was thin, crunchy and satisfying , just the way a slice of pizza at 9PM should be. Generous toppings, perfect amount of sauce.

We ordered a large carry out pizza right as the store opened. I felt like the cooks rushed it because I was waiting. It wasn't well prepared. Mediocre toppings. Disappointing.

Visiting and saw great reviews. Unfortunately there were flies on the garlic knots and when I brought the concern to the employee he said there is nothing he can do. I would suggest covering food. The pizza is sitting out under no heater.

Great location next to the bars and open late, but the pizza is not good. I got fresh slices right out of the over and they were very doughy and greasy.

I was with our small kids and I was looking for a great pizza by the slice option. We walked by and he had just opened at 4pm. Theo was just starting to make our pizza fresh so we waited about 10 minutes for cheese pizza to be finished. My kids LOVED it! The pizza slice was huge. And the garlic butter bread knots were devoured too. Thanks Theo!

I got the white spinach pizza and garlic knots tonight. The pizza is alright, just very bland. I saw there was minced garlic on it but I couldn't taste it. I guess there's a lack of seasoning. I added parmesan and it helped since it's salty. As for the garlic knots- DO NOT ORDER! They're extremely dry and dense! I couldn't bite into it; seriously. So they went in the trash immediately. They were like dry, overworked bread-rocks. The marinara sauce is again, very bland. Idk if they use any seasoning but my guess is they don't. Sadly, I won't be ordering again.

Decent pizza at a very good price. The workers are super hardworking and awesome to the customers. Ingredients seem fresh especially on the margarita pizza. Parking is hard in the area but the workers are so nice they will walk the pizza out to you if you call them

Very nice guy working but pizza is not great and the garlic knots were beyond stale. It took 20 minutes to receive so was pretty disappointing

I love theos hot pizza! I've tried the Theos Hot Chicken, Classic pepperoni, and garlic knots. Their garlic knots are killer! Not only is the food great, but the customer service is top of the line! I am often greeted by Ury, who's kindness and prestige customer service keeps me coming back. He is such a hard worker and is the perfect definition of amazing customer service. I will always recommend friends to Theos!

Was thrilled to see a pizza place open up in pb that stays open late night (until 2am)! However, it is more so just open until they run out of pizza - so if you aren't there by 1:40 you aren't getting pizza. The pizza is very thin and honestly nothing special but definitely gets the job done when you are looking for food at 2am. There is usually just 2 people working at night - one in front and one in the kitchen. If you just order pizza from the front display that's already cooked you can get your pizza at checkout but if you order off the menu or a full pie then you'll have to wait 15-20 min for your food.

holy fuck theo can get it. I door dashed this pizza at like 12am while i'm baked like a cookie and this mf hit so damn hard. The garlic knots r thiccc asf and garlicky asf. I would eat 90 of these without gettin sick of them. The pizza is better than any chain and definitely better than dominos shitty ass. If u r looking for a pizza and want some good shit, bro, theo got u covered.

I ordered pizza here last night. I never even knew this place existed. I haven't been out in PB in over a year! I got this buffalo chicken pizza for my bf but I had one bite and decided that it was in fact going to be MY slice of pizza instead. Man that thing was so good. 10/10 coming back!!!

This pizza is incredible! We ordered several different slices (pepperoni, buffalo chicken, the Red Hulk) and they were all unique and fresh and satisfying! While we were there, a fresh Chicken Extreme, which is a classic Brazilian pizza, came out of the oven and they offered us a courtesy slice to try. It was decadent! Amazing! Loved the food and service, will definitely be back!

Is this exceptional pizza? No, is it a great late night option after concerts or when you have the munchies? Absolutely yes!! I am a fan of crunchy crust pizza and this hit the mark. Pass on the white chocolate pizza, it is sort of weird tasting with the ricotta, I would go with the chocolate one instead.

Just got our delivery. Spent $42. Large pizza is the size of a small. Garlic knots burnt and inedible. Will not be ordering again. Waste of money

Excellent pizza! Great flavor and the crust was baked to perfection. There were several options and my son loved the generous portions. I highly recommend this place if you want to get great service, great pizza, and have it fast!

Yummy thin crust pizza. Love that they stay open late! They have a nice selection in their menu with meat, veggie, and chicken options. They have some Brazilian style pizza and dessert pizzas! The chocolate dessert pizza and the Hot Veggie pizzas are my favorite so far. Definitely recommend anyone to order from Theo's Hot Pizza!!

Walked here on a Friday night because the website had a great veggie selection. I was the only one in there and was helped quickly by the nice guy at the resister. I ordered the hot veggie pizza and waited ~12 minutes until it was ready. I live about a 10 minute walk from the place so quickly went home to inhale it. When I got home, the pizza was cold but oh well the air fryer spruced the slices back up. The thin crust and all the veggies were incredible. It was like I ate an entire pizza but could say I ate a salad. I'll be back for sure. Somehow, this pizza was sweet. I intentionally got the hot veggie because I love spice. But something on it tasted very sweet. It was still great, but threw me for a loop.
