We came on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated on time for our reservation. They did check our ids as the space is for folks 21 and up. They have a live DJ (imagine a day party ambiance). The DJ played a mix of hip hop/r&b (old/new). It is a loud space so if you don't like too much noise, don't come for brunch lol they were busy when we came in. their wait staff were juggling multiple tables, but our waiter was super sweet and very helpful recommending selections. The location is great especially if you want to go to Fremont Street after (3 minute walk).
We came here based on the recommendation from a friend that stated "this was the best French toast I've ever had", so, of course, I have to see if this is true. I was a bit nervous because it does have bananas in the toppings. I like banana in certain things (love banana bread), but I'm not too fond of the fruit by itself. The waitress suggested that I get the syrup on the side (which has chunks of pineapple and banana and it).
Hawaiian Banana French Toast - 4/5, the French toast itself was great! I do wish it was a little more crispy on the outside, but it was still delicious and so moist! glad the waitress suggested I got the syrup on the side. The syrup was balanced, and tasted more caramelized. So glad it didn't have a strong banana flavor!
Eggs - 2/5, they were okay, but supposed to be soft scrambled
Bacon - 3/5
Red velvet waffle sliders and veggies - 3.5/5, overall these are great, but wish the chicken had a bit more flavor. Super random, but the pickles were great lol.
Bottomless mimosas - 5/5 $23 for bottomless mimosas sounds like a good time to me! I don't drink but my friend days, and she enjoyed them. Super quick refills as well!
