Me: So where are we meeting for dinner?
Friend: Booked a rez through Yelp at there.
Me: Ok, but what restaurant?
Friend: There.
Me: (after Yelping "There"). Sounds great! See you There!
When we first walked in, I thought...is this it? Not gonna lie...the space was small but cozy and the vibe was super chill...my kinda place!
So one might think a teensy restaurant like this wouldn't serve up some yummy and eclectic food...well let me just say...it's a "shared" experience and their menu was da bomb!
We ordered an array of delicious tapas and flavor-packed bites!
Started out with some fine wine, a Basil Hayden Old Fashioned (basil hayden bourbon, brown sugar, aromatic bitters and orange zest) and Shishito Peppers...YUM!
Followed that up with Shitake Steamed Buns (red wine and butter marinated shitake mushrooms, sautéed in coconut hoisin sauce and a scallion garnish) and the Spicy Duck Steamed Buns (organic duck breast, samba mayo and scallions)...all devoured within minutes!
Heck! There's no way we could stop just 'there' so ordered the Avocado Lettuce Wraps (tempura fried avocado, jicama, sweet chili jam and micro greens) and Elk Lettuce Wraps (Colorado Elk, ginger, crispy garlic, white sesame, scallion, yuzu soy and finished with hot sesame oil). Both OUTTA THIS WORLD!
While it's a smidge off the beaten town path, I can't believe I've never been here-there-here before! It's def become my fav restaurant!
Make a rez peeps and the next time I'm in T-ride I'll see y'all There!
