Great first visit here. They have a large wine and cocktail menu. I enjoyed the mini glass bottles of diet coke. Our server Theresa was exceptional at explaining the menu, watching our cues and timing our dinner. Nice variety in oysters and they were very fresh and shucked well. The Nicoise salad was phenomenal. It's large enough for an entree, but we split it as a starter. I want to go back for another soon. My husband was excited about the Steak au Poivre (hanger cut). It was a nice cut and very tender, but he had to skip the sauce bc it had gluten in it. It wasn't as flavorful without the sauce and could have used some basic salt and pepper while cooking it. I enjoyed the Tagliolini pasta - it's very rich and reheated well as leftovers. They were running about 20-30 min past our reservation time which was a bummer for a Friday night - I'm guessing still working out some kinks - but they were full and kept seating people all evening - definitely a hot spot with lots of good vibes and energy.

We’re definitely coming back for dinner! Brunch was already impressive, and you can tell this new spot is quickly finding its rhythm. While they’re still smoothing out a few service and timing details, the overall experience makes Therese absolutely worth a visit—especially if you love French cuisine. Portions are generous, and many dishes are perfect for sharing if you’re not a big eater. The full bar is a great touch, making it an easy place to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family. A wonderful addition to the Edina dining scene—French casual dining done right, with the bonus of being just steps away from covered parking. That convenience is priceless during Minnesota winters!

Great new restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, especially for opening weekend. The decor was very cozy and modern. Loved the food and drinks. Great selection of French food options and there's definitely more I want to try on my next visit.

We had a great experience! Ordered a few things to share and we loved all of them. The beet salad and snow crab lettuce was phenomenal

Unfortunately, this was a pretty disappointing experience overall. I left smelling like my local dive bar, and there were fruit flies swarming our table for the entire dinner, which was really hard to overlook. I ordered the chicken presse. I understand the preparation is deliberate, but the very soft bound texture was not to my taste, even though the few bites that were more purely chicken were quite tasty. The purees and jus also just felt decorative, but it needed something more substantial to make it satisfying. Overall I left really hungry, which was frustrating given the $59 bill for one entree and mocktail. I tried a bite of the steak and fries that my friend ordered. She asked for it medium-medium well (which I agree should be illegal), but it came out closer to rare to medium rare. It was just alright and the fries were standard/average. Other friends enjoyed the mussels and burger, though both felt fairly typical as well. Service was good overall, if a little clumsy at times - understandable for a new restaurant. DDP can be hit or miss, and sadly, this visit felt like a miss.

wow! dan del prada does it again. just as we expected, high quality stuff--once we started eating, we couldn't get enough. we had the snow crab lettuce cups, beef tartare, pork, and lobster ravioli and they were all just lovely. this will surely become an edina staple. a job well done. we also thought the drinks were so cool. the manager on loan from martina was very welcoming and accommodating. vibe was our fav! food came out at a very nice pace. overall 10/10 would love to make another visit soon

We eat out frequently in the Twin Cities and are always excited to try new places. I rarely write restaurant reviews, but I felt obligated to write this because we were so incredibly under-whelmed with this place. When we turned the corner outside the restaurant, we were immediately hit with a thick smell of burger grease coming from the kitchen. The inside of the restaurant is very similar to that of the former occupant - The Lynhall - not much changed in terms of decor. The menu is small, which is fine, but the restaurant is missing many classic French staples despite being a "French" restaurant. We asked our waitress to describe the menu to us, and she just told us three things that were "the best." My cocktail was mostly ice (which is typical of DDP restaurants). Quality control and consistency was poor for the entrees - 3 of us at the table ordered the same entree, and they all came out looking slightly different. But at the same time, they all tasted the same - like soggy, oily fish despite being described as "light and flaky" by our waitress. I enjoyed the bibb salad and the scoop of ice cream I had for dessert, and that was about it. After arriving home from dinner, my favorite jacket still smelled strongly of burger grease the following morning. Overall, we were super disappointed and will not be returning. Honestly missing The Lynhall right now.

Quality ingredients, creative menus, great customer service and a strong wine list. Dinner for two last night was very good. The mussels were excellent. Since I am not fond of the fried bread trend, we asked and receive fresh baguette slices to go with the great broth. The portion is perfect for two. For the entrees, we split the long spar rib and the risotto. The long spar rib is outstanding; the red wine reduction sauce is amazing. The risotto with mushrooms is very good. However, in hindsight the combination is very rich; pairing the spare rib with the beet salad might make more sense in the future. The domaine gauby les calcinaires is the perfect paring with the spare rib. And the service was excellent. The ONLY improvement we HIGHLY recommend is: please install a 2000+ CFM hood over the cooking range, vent it to the outside so that the air inside the restaurant is free of smoke and more breathable. We look forward to many more visits AFTER that hood is installed!

Atmosphere was great. Love the location, little walk since there isn't parking near by. Server was outstanding. The portions are perfect. Now foods - We got French Onion Soup, White fish, Salmon and Risotto. The BEST French onion soup I ever had!!!!! Amazing !!!!!! Fish was great, not a big fan of capers, but the sauce was delicious and it helps. Salmon, my oh my... the little potatoes inside the fish was the star of the show, I can't get enough of it. The sauce is incredible. Overall, I loved everything about it. And the sauces are the best ! Will definitely go back for more :)

Good evening everyone. Went to Therese earlier this and was truly let dow: 1. The staff nice. Nolan did a nice job 2. The escargot was just plain bad. It had a kind of Parmesan burnt thing on top that was so salty it kind of ruined the dish. We pulled it off and to our dismay the bread was beneath the snail! So it was soggy as hell. 3. The risotto had some lumps of cheese that just didn't. We didn't eat the cheese but added the mushrooms from under the lobster things and made okay 4. The place has a haze to it. Our eyes were all red. A staff member told us the they don't have a ventilation hood. Even if your cooking on electric the food smoke needs some way out and. And finally 5. Ordered a double Tito's dirty martini. THEY CHARGED ME .50 CENTS FOR THE ICE AND $3.00 FOR THE OLIVE JUICE! Such a poor piece of services to show on a bill.

Went for dinner one night after work, excellent martinis and creative serving option. Dessert was fantastic. The proteins were done very well though have room to catch up to some of the sister restaurants in terms of steak. Service was great and attentive, the atmosphere was aiming for Parisian and for the most part achieved it. Would be a great place for work dinner or a date night out, probably favor smaller parties is the larger ones. The fries were remarkable as well, looking forward to trying to burger.

Excellent food and service. Did a wonderful job designing the space to add warmth. Very experienced staff (our waiter was formerly at Martina). Snow crab lettuce cups are one of my favorite appetizers in the city. Look forward to returning to try more of the menu!

Great first lunch at Thérèse. Escargot was delicious as were the French onion soup and the Bibb lettuce salad. The burger (we ordered without the chicken liver pâté) was very tasty, but the veal sauce made it seem more like a very good Salisbury steak sandwich. And the burger is more of a knife-and-fork than a hand-held due to the disintegrating bun. The fries were great, as were the pepper steak and the mushroom risotto.

Went with another couple last night. Cocktails and service was good. We had oysters, escargot and 4 entrees. My pork chop was colder than room temperature when it was brought to the table. 2 other entrees were barely warm. Food was decent but not amazing. Definitely not worth the price.
