Vietnam Is The Number One Trending Spa Destination Right Now

Best known as a massive mega-spa in Bucharest, this huge complex is referenced as a classic spa destination, suggesting an expansive, resort-style environment focused on relaxation and wellness experiences on a grand scale. - Liv Kelly

The spa itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s very spacious with a lot of different areas to enjoy, and the food options are surprisingly good and great value for money if you’re spending the whole day there. Most of the staff we interacted with were fairly pleasant, and the overall experience had a lot of potential. However, there were a few significant downsides that really affected the visit. First, the changing rooms are merged for both men and women, which led to some uncomfortable and unhygienic situations. We saw couples being intimate in the changing areas, which definitely isn’t what you expect or want in a spa environment. As a Black woman, I also felt there was some unfairness when it came to service. At the pool bar, we repeatedly struggled to get the attention of the waiters, even when we were standing right in front of them. Meanwhile, Romanian and white guests behind us were served first. When we finally did receive our drinks, they weren’t made to the same standard as others, even basic garnishes were missing. Another confusing point was being told that treatments must be booked a day in advance, yet there’s no way to book online or over the phone. This doesn’t make sense for guests who are arriving on the day and would like to enjoy treatments as part of their visit. Overall, the spa is visually stunning and has a lot to offer , but these issues definitely let the experience down. Three stars for the beauty of the space and the potential, but improvements are needed in service, organisation, and guest comfort.

Absolutely one of my favorite experiences in Bucharest. The experience is one of complete release, from The checking in to the different packages. And how easy they allow for you to get things you know like robes, towels, slippers, swimsuits, and a wide range of refreshments, coffees, juices, food, etc. The Facility is very clean, and the first floor has a beautiful pool, which you can swim in indoor and outdoor. The outdoor swimming in. Winter is pretty luxurious. I would recommend everybody to have that experience. The mineral bats, The, dead Sea salt Bath is good. Along with the lithium bath and the tropical sauna is really nice to get your body into a space. That can enjoy the entire experience. On the top floors, you have the really wonderful son as my favorite are the Amazon sauna, and the Bavarian sauna. Both of them are quite hotter, and they also have rituals that are quite fascinating, and I think quite magical and Healing. I really enjoyed all of my experiences doing the rituals there. They’ve made some changes to the second floor where you’re now able to get more refreshments and juices and liquids to hydrate. And of course the mango tree restaurant continues to be excellent.I don’t and cannot find a fault to Therme . It is magical. I recommend everybody going to Bucharest to have this experience, and I really appreciate it. So very much. 10 out of 10 experience.

Absolutely fantastic experience. This place is just amazing, we were blown away by how clean and organized it is. The wristband system is very nice since you dont have to carry anything with you. We went on a monday so it wasnt so crowded and we really enjoyed it. All of the staff were helpfull and nice especially the people From the saunas that do a fantastic job. I cant recomend this place enough and will definitely visit again. Thank you for an amazing day

I visited the thermal baths as it’s one of the most popular attractions in Bucharest and I wanted to experience it myself. The check-in process was easy, the facilities are large and well-equipped, and it’s convenient that they sell swimsuits, towels and flip-flops at the entrance. However, the place was extremely crowded (weekend visit), which affected the overall atmosphere. The saunas and pools were packed, and there was no availability for massages in the Elysium area. For the 4.5 hours I booked, the €35 entrance fee felt quite high considering the crowding. I also spent around €30 on two cocktails and a beer, which felt overpriced. At times, the hygiene didn’t feel ideal due to the large number of people in the water. Regarding the staff, most of them seemed like they didn’t really enjoy being there, which came across in their attitude. At times they appeared almost unfriendly, and it affected the overall atmosphere. It’s one of those places you visit once to say you’ve been. I’m not sure I would return, but I’m glad I experienced it.

Went on a random Tuesday beginning of December and to be honest yes - as soon as you enter there’s chaos. We chose to enjoy our time as we paid and traveled however I would only go back with friends to have fun and drink, as opposed to relax and enjoy the idea of a spa per se… Be prepared for the following: 1. Small changing rooms with corridors filled with big groups (of people with particular body odours 🙃) and entitled cleaning crews. 2. Not finding any empty beds, at least not in the main middle pool, we went far back past the kiddies pools. 3. Long waiting queues for drinks at the pool OR restaurant meals - I cannot even begin to imagine what the weekends look like. 4. BRACELETS - whilst I understand the health and safety aspect of them on the rapids, I feel like it was not advertised enough and the staff was not helpful to provide a solution such as I’ll leave them on the side/come back for them or something similar. You go on endless stairs with so much effort avoiding the children running everywhere just to get to the top to be told you have to turn back around unacceptable. Also I feel it is lacking the multi cultural aspect of it where some people might have them welded on and cannot remove them, as an example. But no, staff are so used to saying no as opposed to explaining why not - tell me this at the bottom of the stairs, not the very top. Same with watches/rings/etc. 5. Influencers and wanna-be’s EVERYWHERE. Like, I don’t want to be featured in a swim suit in some rando’s video, I respect everyone’s privacy but asking for the same is too much. Other than that, the place is massive and there’s a big variety of drinks and foods to choose from. I totally loved my lunch 🥙

My visit to Therme Bucharest was truly unforgettable. The facility is beautifully maintained, with a smart layout that makes accessing pools, saunas, slides, and relaxation areas very intuitive. I especially loved how the Palm area lets you drift from indoor to outdoor water without needing to leave the swim space, and the Elysium saunas were exceptional. The food and drink options were excellent ano reasonably priced - The staff throughout were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated how clean the changing rooms and pools were. All in all, I would highly recommend Therme to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and fun. Ilook forward to returning!

Simply put this place is one of the greatest places I’ve ever visited. I see some of the low reviews and either these people expectations are out of whack or they are truly some first class only people. This place checks all the boxes. Clean facilities, well maintained, lots of staff, good food, reasonable prices and amazing attractions. There is something for the entire family here. If you’re looking for a good way to spend a day this is the place.

Very beautiful, new and atmospheric. Prices are a little steep tho, i would definitely recommend you buy the whole package to have access to all places, as it can feel a little limited for a whole day. The whole area except one part is adults only too. There are lots of opportunities to buy alcohol and beverages near every pool. Food options are good but the food quality could absolutely be improved. I would recommend to buy tickets in advance thanks to lower prices. Parking is easy and there are plenty spaces. Pools are very warm so you won’t be cooling down too much in heatwaves unfortunately. There are no purely swimming pools available.
