Thes ''Greek Creative Cuisine''

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor, and we never regretted it. We tried the greek moussaka, sea bream, greek salad, and naxos potatoes. Everything was super delicious and well cooked, with creative presentation from the chef. The moussaka exceeded all my expectations - it’s number one among all the ones I’ve tried so far. I highly recommend visiting this place during your stay in Athens!

The food was amazing! We had the tarama, greek salad, grilled calamari and moussaka. Everything was great! We felt very welcome, the service from Andonis was absolutely top notch! Thank you, we will come back

By far the best restaurant in Athens I've experienced. Creative but not pretentious, they manage to put a twist on classics like moussaka and actually make it BETTER. Add very friendly service and a complimentary mastiha. Honestly this restaurant alone would be reason to visit Athens.

(Yelper) Amazing Greek traditional food! • Pork 5/5 • Chicken baked pasta 5/5 • Greek lamb 5/5 This was the best meal we had in all of Greece. The marination and softness of the pork was amazing. The depths of flavor was insane. The lamb was also incredibly good. It looks strange, but it is some of the best lamb you will have.

We had a wonderful dinner this evening at Restaurant Thes. The food was beautifully prepared with surprising and delicious flavor combinations. The waiter was very funny, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you love good food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Great Greek food with a modern twist. Some surprises in the menu such as the tzatziki avocado or the pastitsio. All accompanied by a good and quiet atmosphere and an excellent service. I definitely will come back in the next visit to Athens.

We had an amazing dinner out at Thes — a highlight of our visit to Athens!! Sitting outside on the bustling street was so fun, all the dishes were amazing, and the service was top notch. We felt very taken care of and enjoyed everything we ordered. Plus who doesn’t love a surprise free aperitif to close out!

Thes "Greek Creative Cuisine" just got featured in the Trip Advisor 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards, so we had to check it out when we were in Athens. We had dinner there and really liked most of the dishes, though some were hit or miss. The Greek salad was super tasty, but the seafood pasta didn’t impress us—just lacked flavor. The menu has a modern Greek vibe with some creative twists. The staff were really nice. They took time to explain each dish and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. They were also great at suggesting the perfect wine to go with our food. But I should mention, there was an hour wait. Make sure to get a reservation if you’re going. The place is clean and has a chill vibe, with some outdoor seating available. Overall, it was a lovely experience!
