Overall, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable. My experience as a guest was that everyone working there was very nice, the room was great, and the drinks I had were good too. BUT be warned if you have to stay by the elevator. I was here on business at the law school, and I was kept up well into the night by screaming, literal screaming, right outside my room. I understand sorority recruitment was going on, but these were both male and female voices and I wish I had been placed further knowing I needed a good night's rest which is the number one thing I was paying for. The next night I got moved when I brought this up to the front desk. It was a nice gesture, but also a hassle and did not resolve the fact half my stay got pretty messed up. Then, even after confirming at check-in I paid all fees upon booking, I see in my credit card statement yesterday that some unexpected charge went through, so I called to ask what that was about. It turns out there was a miscommunication and that there is a destination fee charged each day. The fee is no problem, but the issue is the communication and that it came as a surprise. I would love to say I fully recommend this hotel, but for the value I got considering the horrible night's sleep the first night and then the surprise charges, I would not recommend if your goals are a restful night's sleep and a transparent bill. Maybe my experience can help you decide though based on your goals for your stay. I was reluctant to pay the steep price for the hotel each night, but it was the best option for walking to the school. It also looked nice and peaceful and like it would be worth it. In the future, I would likely opt for a different hotel where I can get a restful night's sleep unless the hotel responds to my email or reaches out to me and provides a gesture of a resolution so that I feel like everything was addressed. For now, I still give the hotel 4 stars because, like I said, it just depends on your hopes and desires for your stay.

5 - excellent. My room was very loud last night over the roof top bar. Janell helped me to switch it to the other side of the building without question. Even sent a new key up to my room so I could make the switch without going to the lobby. ||Daniel, at the front desk then followed up to make sure I was happy. Oh while they are at full capacity their service was top notch.||Restaurant-|Maney bartender - Xavier and Joseph were excellent at their craft and made me feel welcome. Food was excellent. 5 stars||Liz Bell

The Thesis hotel was a very pleasant surprise! My family and I just came back from vacation and needed a place to stay until our flight several hours later. My husband picked here and I had no clue what to expect especially because we picked a day rate on the internet, from 9am to 5pm. Clean, set apart, luxurious, and not too expensive. A total vibe that everyone recognizes upon entering.

Nice hotel. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. Well located. Lovely setting. Would happily stay again. All the staff were super helpful and welcoming with the exception of a rather curt check in. We passed it off as a one time oddity and all was good from then on. All our needs were met.|The restaurants on property were very good. |Highly recommend.

Google
You would only stay here if your child goes to Univ of Miami. Place is nice, but front desk reception is painfully slow. Early check in (before 4pm) is $100! And this is when we tried to check in at 3pm! You have to ask for a second key even though he saw me and my wife together checking in. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

From the moment we stepped through the double doors, Janay at the front desk set the tone for an amazing stay. She immediately greeted us with a genuine smile and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. First impressions are everything & we knew we made the right decision booking here the instant we met her. She made us feel right at home.. have you ever wanted to hug someone after they checked you into your hotel room… No? Well you haven’t met Janay yet. She truly is a gem.||During our 3 night stay we encountered many treasures.. from our bartender Toby at the bar/restaurant Mamey, to our server Mia at the upscale restaurant The Collab, to the assistant general manager Luis, we couldn’t have been cared for more. Drinks, food, vibes, & customer service was on point at all corners of this hotel.||The THesis Hotel is a small boutique hotel but what it lacks in size it makes up for in high end vibes, unique character, & outstanding customer service. We had the most amazing stay; I will absolutely be returning to this property and I highly recommend you do the same.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – The Best Hotel in the Miami Area||My stay at the Thesis Hotel in Miami was nothing short of exceptional. This is truly the best hotel in the Miami area—classy, elegant, and beautifully designed. Everything from the atmosphere to the attention to detail made the experience feel special.||What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Every person I interacted with was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuine. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of, and it made all the difference.||If you’re looking for a place that combines style, comfort, and top-tier service, look no further. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Thesis Hotel to everyone I know.

Even though I prepaid my room, and I got there at 2:00PM, I was told I would be called when my room was ready. That check in is 4:00PM. (Policy is that check in is 4:00PM and checkout 11:00AM). Reception said I would be called, when the room is ready, before 4:00. Finally at around 7:00PM that I returned without any call, they were full and didn’t honor my prepaid stay. And didn’t offer to find me a nearby hotel. They said it was a 3rd party reservation and that happens. If it’s only through Hilton that I’m guaranteed a room, then don’t do the other companies like Expedia etc? And when I booked I was charged, and the policy was that it was non changeable. But even though they had the monies ahead of time. I still can’t believe that the Hilton brand would condone this. And I was there early, they still rented my room out to someone else. The front desk girl said she called 3 times and left a message. Not true!!! Then the other person at reception that took over the shift ,said that it was an issue with the company I booked through. That the company had called me to transfer me to another hotel. Not true again. I spoke with the company afterwards and they called the hotel. The hotel gave the excuse that it was a maintenance issue. To leave people stranded at 8:00OPM, I had to cancel all my plans and start a drive back to my home. When I got there at 2:00 why didn’t they say their untruths and deceptions, I could have booked somewhere else at a reasonable time? So if you book there, you may have to have a backup plan! Beware !!! This drink ticket is supposed to make up for ruining a staycation and being deceived. Strung along till 8 PM when it’s too late to find somewhere else to stay. Compensating the room that I paid, but never received!! I didn’t use it, they can shove it in their bank account!! lol. DON’T STAY THERE

Yelp
I came here for a wedding weekend and it didn't disappoint. The staff is very nice with great service and friendly and the location is excellent! It's a 20 second walk to a very nice morning coffee shop and close to a lot of things. The rooms are nice and modern and comfortable with cozy beds.

Yelp
For the price of expect better overall. Pros: beautiful hotel Bartenders and servers very friendly Front desk staff vey helpful and friendly Super comfortable plush beds Plush velour throw blanket on each bed Very nice looking hotel Free champagne upon entry Convenient location to Watsco center Cons: Very poor water pressure (in shower) Phone lines didn't work to call front desk or staff Weak ac unit, room never cooled down No exhaust in bathroom Lighting in room very dim No room microwave Restaurant service is extremely slow and over priced Loud event out in their garden area made surrounding rooms suffer through noise Shower was walk-in but not clean in corners/walls Toilet kept running No space to lay oout suit case or drawers to place items Very thin walls

Yelp
Nice location, beautifully decorated from the moment you enter, nice restaurants and bar areas on the main level along with nice comfortable roof top terrace. The Collab restaurant had great service, good food and nice ambiance! A great place to have an event or take your significant other for an intimate experience. We will be back!

Yelp
So I will say that I actually haven't stayed here but I've been here multiple times. I actually toured this for my wedding but I don't know that the area is truly suited for weddings. The ceremony area is the outside hallway between the two popular restaurants that faces us1 which just isn't conducive for o a nice peaceful wedding imo with the way miami drivers are. The rooftop is really nice and really cool. This is one of the places where the reception can take place. I don't love it for that but for a hang out drink spot it's perfect. It's half covered half uncovered with lots of sporadic seating so you can find your spot! The restaurants in the hotel are very well known and I find them good but probably not mind blowing

Yelp
Beautiful hotel across the street from the University of Miami. Friendly, accommodating staff, clean rooms, very classy. Hotel restaurant is excellent with beautiful atmosphere!
google avatar

Yelp
The hotel is perfectly situated across from the university of Miami and gets extra points for cleanliness. High ceilings and clean modern decor. But point deductions for no dressers for your clothes or racks for suitcases. No mini frig. Great food from the restaurants but a confused mess at the car valet. Oh and they didn't have my reservation at check in. The hotel changed ownership to Hilton two weeks ago so maybe there are computer system glitches that will get ironed out
google avatar

Aliya A.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the salt water rooftop pool! And Sheneta on the night staff for the front desk went above and beyond! Five star hotel without the high price! The Collab restaurant was to die for you can get a side of Caviar for $8 and they have Piper Hiedseck champagne by the glass...I was in heaven!

Wonderful experience! Ordered room service and it was amazing! Very clean. Outstanding service. All around, I highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Stayed here for my brother in law's medical school graduation. We chose the hotel due to its close proximity to the Watsco Center but quickly found that though close in proximity, the walk isn't exactly safe. There's a section with no sidewalk and you have to walk down a block or so before crossing a very busy highway. We had infant children with us so that plus the humidity in formal attire, we ended up ubering anyway. Most of their nice amenities are on the 3rd floor which includes a nice covered terrace with fans and their pool with ample number of chairs and umbrellas. The pool is a flow over pool and great for kids, deepest part is 4 feet deep. The rooms were fine, though quite variable. The 1 king beds were a lot smaller in size than the 2 queens, at least the ones we stayed in (we booked 3 rooms in total for our party). Your stay comes with a nice $ credit for their restaurants so we enjoyed using that. Overall, good stay. The showers were just a little old but service was excellent. Note, you can request a fridge and microwave that housekeeping can deliver to your room!

Yelp
A very pleasant newish hotel in Coral Gables. They have two nice restaurants inside as well. Go check them out. I have been to Mameys already and was very impressed with it. Go check out my other review regarding it. This hotel is new,, laid out pleasantly and has a small but perfectly adequate pool and pretty patio area on the third floor. A great spot for happy hour.

Yelp
Came here with my daughter while we went to try and find her housing for the University of Miami. The hotel is nicely appointed, and the staff was friendly and courteous. Check-in was a breeze, yet it's hard to tell where the check-in counter is as it doesn't look like it typically would, it's more of two posts that people stand behind and not one large one. We came on a weird day, because we saw many Secret Service and local police securing the area. It turns out that the presidents of two countries happen to be staying at the hotel at the same time. The room was very nice comfortable beds review was across the street from the University of Miami campus and very convenient for us . We did try the restaurant for breakfast and unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with the food. Service was great and the coffee was great, but not much else for me. Perhaps it's just wasn't my style food even though I just ordered eggs. It was extremely pricey though and not very tasty for me.

Yelp
The Ivy Terrace at the THesis is an interesting use of overflow space outside the Theory Ballroom. A hallway outside of the garage, it has been fitted with seating, Astro turf, potted boxwood, cafe lights, and of course hanging vines over columns and trellises to create an intimate outdoor setting. The view of the cars is not ideal, and the space is a bit tight for larger parties but it is creative use of what would otherwise be dead space.

Yelp
Wow! We stayed at the Thesis Hotel during our son's wedding festivities. We really enjoyed the property and will definitely visit again!

Kimberly B.

Yelp
Poor service and restaurant was even worse. It's unfortunate because the food is great. After 2 hours of being there we spoke to our server only twice! Never checked on us just took the order and gave us a check at the end of the meal!

Yelp
We went to this beautiful hotel for an event and I had an amazing experience. The service was fabulous, the food that we got was so delicious and that people working here were so nice. The event was at an area where was also nicely decorated like if it was a backyard but the declaration gave me such a positive vibe that I love it I didn't wanna leave honesty! Parking, is not free and they have many levels with specifications which one is for visitors or four residents so be aware of that, so you don't park where is for residence. As far as the food, I had their mac & cheese sandwich, their tuna tostones, and there empanadas. I love them all.

Yelp
What an amazing hotel! We were here at Christmas time when they had their outdoor courtyard decorated with lit up huge presents. The first floor restaurant Mamey is super chic and has quite a bit of seating inside and outside. The pool is stunning, such a beautiful design. The place is located right off US 1 so you get quite a bit if noise from the busy highway while outside. Inside is very quiet and ultra modern. Staff are really friendly here, providing lots of local information and directions. They offer valet parking here as well.

Yelp
This place totally sucks. I wish I could give zero stars. Where to begin: After a full day of travel, we checked into a room with broken ac, broken refrigerator and broken telephone. After a solid hour of waiting on maintenance, they fixed the ac after two visits. We were told the hotel phones were broken and they were aware of the issue.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Highly recommend! I have eaten at Mamey downstairs and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend. I had cocktails in the downstairs bar this time around and I loved the comfortable bar seats, and the ambiance (you do feel like you're in a tropical oasis). I had bar snacks on their rooftop deck bar and the food was incredible (grilled cheese with guava sauce and taquitos), as was the ambiance. I felt like I was in Polanco, Mexico City or somewhere in South America overlooking the city. It was blissful. I hope to use the rooftop pool the next time I stay (lucky for me, we have offices close by, so I have a feeling I will be back often). The valet guys were very friendly and helpful, and it didn't take long to get my car at all. The front desk was really friendly, and the hotel rates are very reasonable. You also get to park your car for free if you are a FL resident (Wahoo!) It's only about 5 minutes from the Coral Gables mall, and walkable to ton of things. I love this area of Miami!

Bruce B.

Yelp
The hotel itself was ok. I paid in full on line. When we arrived, they said if we eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel we would get $25.00 off. So, we ate at Mamey's. It was awful. When we checked out they gave us the $25.00 and charged us $25.00 for Guest Amenity Fee. Total rip off. On top of that, my husband started feeling ill thru the night. Not sure if it was from Mamey's. I went downstairs, since the phone in the room was not working, to get some Tylenol. They did not have it but did have 2 different types of Ibuprofens. The girl said it was the same as Tylenol. No it's not. The need to educate their employees and carry at least one form of Acetaminophine.

Mike W.

Yelp
After staying here I can say that this is a place I would never return. I had countless negative experiences with the staff and communication. Location is difficult to get around in Miami unless you just want to visit UM.

Yelp
My boyfriend stays at the Thesis Hotel Miami when he is in Miami for work and they always take great care of him. I come down some weekends to visit when he's here and the hotel experience is my favorite part of my visit every time. The director David Reid was so amazing, always checking with us to ensure everything was great and always accommodating all of our requests. The staff here is on point, always going out of their way to ensure our stay is perfect. Having such an incredible restaurant downstairs is a huge plus too!! I can't wait to go back!!

Richa M.

Yelp
This hotel is terrible. The rooms are small and unhygienic. Despite asking for cleaning several times the hotel was never cleaned.
google avatar

Kate J.

Yelp
Impeccable customer service. Warmly greeted upon arrival, a kind gentleman carried bags up to my room for me while I checked in. Was given a glass of champagne at check-in. Felt like royalty with all of these accommodations. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Had no trouble sleeping. Very pretty hotel. Great location. Would stay again!

Yelp
needed a place to stay for 2 nights with my husband as American Airlines abandoned us (shocker). Loved how new this hotel was, great nearby restaurants & shops. Only downer was the pillow cases looked like it had been run over - there were a few staines, & also the shower wasn't very clean. I loved how they had the shampoo, conditioner, & body wash already mounted to the wall. Overall great stay 10/10 for service, 9/10 for cleanness.

Yelp
I came down from Atlanta to get surgery, and despite the fact that hotels closer to my surgeon that offer discounts, i chose to stay here because of their resturant mamsy downstairs. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I stayed here a total of 8 nights. The beginning started off well. On night 2, i was sent an edible arrangements, there are no refrigerators in the room so i called down to ask if they had a cold place i could store my fruits. The lady said "we have refrigerators and microwaves all you had to do was ask" ok. So i asked for both. They brought up the refrigerator qu

Yelp
2/5 Pretty property, friendly staff, clean rooms, but...this hotel is loaded with students from the University across the street. I believe this property was built with that in mind, for future students and family to stay while they visit the University. The location is right off of US1 a very busy highway with non stop traffic, it's very noisy from the traffic, the metro train, the music in the restaurants, bars and if you're lucky enough to to have a private party during your stay. It was so crowded at all times of the day and night. The elevators take forever and when they do arrive, your pushed out of the way. There is no fridge in the rooms which was a disappointment. I was in town to visit family who lived near by which is why I chose this property, and they allow pets so I was able to bring my dog. So if you do not mind the noise, the crowds, I would recommend the property, but if you're looking for a quiet place this is not it.

Yelp
Stayed at the THesis after we returned back from our cruise. Roughly a 20 min Uber ride from the port to this location. The hotel is also conveniently located across the street from the University of Miami and 2.5 miles from Coconut Grove. We arrived early and they didn't have any rooms ready yet. We decided to lounge for awhile on the 3rd floor where the pool and lounge chairs can be found. After awhile we decided to use the bikes they offer. There are 4 bikes where an app can be downloaded and you pay by the hour. We rode our bikes over to coconut grove for some lunch and to the beach. It was a nice way to spend our time waiting for our room. The rooms are clean and modern. I would have preferred a few more towels as well. The hotel offers a hh around 4-6 and then had a band playing after on the 3rd floor located near the pool bar. It was really crowded so suggest getting there early. The restaurant does charge a service fee on any bill from the bar and the restaurant on the first floor. The pool is nice and they have towels and even sunscreen available for guests. My main complaint...after we checked in and got to the room and settled in my bf went to the hotel gym and while he was out the front desk issued our room to another couple so I was by myself when all of a sudden the door opens with another couple walking into our room! That was a surprise. And then our keys stopped working and had to get new ones which was slightly annoying. I would still recommend staying at this hotel.

Yelp
Bring your own washcloths, apparently they run out easily and "forget" to restock them the next day. Phone does not work. Pool and third floor casual restaurant area closed off for private event on the only day it was weather permitting to go. No notice or warning, we found out when we got to the door and was turned away (we checked in that day, so it would have been pretty easy to pass on the news to us. You can here everything from hallways and adjoining rooms because there are HUGE gaps under the doors. Coffee maker had to be run twice to work and even if we wanted it the next morning it wasn't restocked at all. No ice on our floor and no signs indicating where to get it. I had to knock on a random linen closet where I heard voices to ask, because like I said before our phone didn't work properly. Later I luckily figured out it was just the hand receiver that didn't work at all and I was able to get the speaker to get a dial tone (yes I double and triple checked the wires to make sure they were attached. Upon check in for 4 guests we were given 2 washcloths and 3 towels. I'm convinced they are purposely not stocking the rooms properly to make it so you have to call housekeeping to bring you missing items for a tip. Only cups in room are two coffee cups, nothing to put a toothbrush in or drink some water. I guess it's a BYO everything type of hotel that pretends to have a third floor with music and pool access. Honestly, I still can't get I've the absurdity of a hotel running out of washcloths. That like McDonalds running out of ketchup. Do better. We will never stay here again...ever and I suggest you not to as well.

Yelp
Overpriced. HUGEEEE waste of money. Rooms are tiny and crappy. Don't. Stay. Here!

Yelp
Best valet in miami- thank you Robert and Ricardo! My stay at the hotel felt like I was visiting friends. Will stay here again because of their hospitality! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
My husband took us there to celebrate my bday. The service was great! The valet guys, the bellman, front desk, restaurant staff everybody was helpful and nice. The food is very good. Make sure to order the shrimp taquitos and the jerk margarita. The pool was pristine. My husband asked for flowers and the manager went and bought them and they also provided a bottle of champagne (this one on the house). Highly recommend it.

Yelp
My gold necklace disappeared from my room. I talked to the staff before checking out and they said they would conduct a research and call me back. No one ever did. I called three times within the next two weeks and each time, they said management would contact me. It's been a month and still no call. If you plan to stay there, lock everything up. Or don't bring anything valuable.

Yelp
Success of any hotel boils down to ambiance, comfort, food and drink, and the most important service. Between Shevonne, Paula and Paola, this is a very well trained team of service excellence. Anything my wife and I needed was accommodated. They made our experience a 10. The hotel is lovely with comfortable modern decor, great food,.staff, pool, bar, etc. A complete winner across the board.

Yelp
Had the absolute best time at the THesis Hotel this past weekend. From the service, the smell, the impeccable rooms- everything was perfect during my stay. I also visited the third floor (Mamey on third) for drinks and appetizers during NYE and I loved it all. I 100% recommend the THesis hotel most importantly for the VIBE it gives and the attention to detail that is so hard to find these days in our city. I also got the chance to meet the F & B director, Frank, and he was absolutely phenomenal to me and my family- treated us like family. Thank you, THesis for the great experience and memories.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I decided to have a "staycation" this weekend and he chose to book at THesis. This hotel is brand new (we were the first guests to ever stay in our room) and is located right in front of the University of Miami. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the room, there were plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout the lobby, and our room had two masks, a set of gloves, and a bottle of hand sanitizer. They also left us cookies and a box of delicious chocolates. The staff was super nice and helpful! All in all, we can't wait to come back!

Sam S.

Yelp
Horrible service for a hotel of this caliber. Checkin was challenging and then no coffee maker in the room. Called at night to get a coffee maker and was assured that I would have one in the morning by 8 am. Nothing even by 8.30 am. Called 3-more times between 8.30 & 9.00 am and still nothing. Despicable service. Spoke to multiple people but the only person who finally came through was Melvin.

Danica E.

Yelp
I stayed here in January while visiting a friend. This place is super cute, the staff are lovely, and the restaurant is fantastic. For the experience I'd say it was super affordable and well worth it, especially given how expensive most hotels are in Miami. Definitely check out the craft cocktails at the bar near the pool and the ceviche at Mamey's.

Yelp
English Very Nice place but I passed for the worst experience in my life yesterday! My daughter her wife and kids, a month baby and 6years old girl, came from Orlando to pass the week-end in the hotel to celebrate aniversary. The night began with a nice gift from the restaurant chef and I stayed in charge of my grandsons... In the middle of the night sleeping with the babies an horrible moment began. The guests in the next room began to scream loudly and knocking at the shared door of the room and woke me and the baby from there, as I did not answer, they came out semi naked into the hallway to knock and scream at the main door of my room. They repeated this act numerous times leaving me terrified and not knowing what to do. In panic I called the front desk that answered that it was calling immediately security: they never came. Meanwhile the screams of "hello" and the knocks on the two doors continued, leaving me in a panic. I called the front desk again and they didn't answer me anymore ... My daughters arrived and found me shaking with the baby in arms, they also called the front desk and since they didn't answer they came down to complain. They gave us a room in an other floor but no one ever came up from the hotel to help change the belongings in the room or to talk to the irresponsible people in the next room. Today my family left the hotel that took over the parking fees etc ... but that doesn't make me forget what I experienced yesterday when Miami is full of crazy persons shooting and assault people for free! Very very bad experience... the manager or security should have come to rescue me immediately and not put my integrity and that of my grandchildren at risk.

Yelp
I travel for business to Miami very frequently. I found Thesis Hotel Miami several months ago and it has since become my second home. David Reid, the Director of Rooms, always goes above and beyond to make sure my stay is a pleasant one. Everyone at the front desk is courteous and friendly and room service is on point. Orno, one of the two restaurants at the hotel, serves delicious food and drinks. At the bar, Jose, Roger and Victor serve up amazing cocktails and have become good friends. Mamey, the other restaurant at the hotel, opens early and serves a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend Thesis to all of my friends all of the time.

Yelp
Such a great location. A quick lyft or Uber to Miracle Mile, Coconut Grove, The Design District, etc. The rooms were cozy and already the perfect temp when we arrived. The pool and outdoor bar were gorgeous. Would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to explore the major neighborhoods in Miami without paying Downtown/Miami Beach prices. Only cons: parking was a bit expensive at $35 per night for self parking. And 2- I tried to make a reservation at the hotel restaurant and was not able to because it was full of outside guests. I would've loved to try it.

Yelp
Beware. Unfortunately, a debit and credit card was stolen from out of a closed bag in our room closet and used to the maximum. We reported it to the hotel soon as we discovered the issue and was told an investigation would be done, however, management never got back to us and did nothing to make it right. Very disappointing.

Yelp
We stayed 2 nights and very expensive. The pool closed early for a private event (that we were not made aware of and so could not plan around). No coffee service or any of the 'extras' you would expect when paying up. Suggest you stay in coconut grove!

Yelp
My husband saw a clip about this hotel / restaurants on DecoDrive (local TV show) and booked it as a surprise for my birthday. When we arrived we ended parking in the parking garage and had problems finding the main entrance due to missing signage in the parking garage. The rooms was nice and clean and of course all brand new. Problem we were close to the main road and you could hear the traffic but worse of all not sure if the air handler for the AC was in our room but every 10 minute it sounded like a bus was driving through our room. The bed were super uncomfortable and it felt like they front of the mattress was lower then the bottom needless to say none of us slept much. When my husband booked the room he was offered a free breakfast and by check out the person in a desk inform us that due to our room rate we didn't quality for it. We had dinner at the Mamey which was a good experience due to the stuff - the stuff was excellent - super friendly and attentive and the food was alright - my husband food was not very warm. Overall the stay wasn't a good experience. The hotel is lacking some signage by the elevator or information in the rooms - as it wasn't clear how to find the restaurant, find the pool or even find the gym. Will not be back.

Yelp
Great stay! Staff is super nice, location is great and they are dog friendly! The bar and pool on level three is just stunning. It's a great place to grab a drink and catch some sun!

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful, and conveniently located just across the street from the University of Miami campus. We had a double queen bed room; it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large, with a beautiful barn door entrance. It's clear they paid attention to even the small details when decorating; the headboard of the beds had book-lights built into them! The staff was courteous and professional. We didn't use many of the amenities, as we were only in town for one day. But I definitely will stay here the next time I am in the area! I highly recommend THesis Hotel Miami.

Yelp
Staying at the Thesis Hotel in Miami was an amazing experience! The layout of this property was incredible. The restaurants were fantastic and the valet service couldn't be nicer! When I checked out from the hotel, my car was waiting for me out front! Now thats amazing service! The rooms are incredibly clean and safe! The infinity pool was breathtaking! I just had an incredible experience and I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top hotel in the area because you're not gonna find one better. Highly recommended! Yelp
We decided to book a few rooms in this hotel for our wedding party, day before to celebrate and the day of to get ready and come back after our wedding reception. I have to say, the whole experience was plain BAD! Let me get started with the fact that, as my bridesmaid and I called at least 5 times begging for champagne glasses to toast and celebrate as we got ready (as well as for our photographers to take those fun shots) but that was just to much to ask for from this team, keep in mind, we purchased the 4 bottles of champagne from the hotel!! We gave up and didn't include a toast and ended up drinking out of coffee cups (bridesmaids had to search for ice as well) As we got ready, AC stopped functioning, think about a wedding party in robes plus 2 technicians trying to resolve. We booked several rooms for 2 nights, made sure to inform the staff it was a wedding party, booked the most expensive room for the bride and groom for the night after the wedding and it was absolutely terrible, not even a congratulations note after my husband called a few times to organize a little sweet something to surprise me before heading to the ceremony, instead they gave us a handicap room with no view instead of the king thesis deluxe which is what we paid for, I mean, terrible!! As a former hospitality industry worker, I know how much these details highlight an experience, I can tell this hotel, you made our experience zero percent enjoyable and we will definitely not come back or recommend to anyone

Yelp
Stayed here 1 night, arrived very late after our flight. We got to check-in at 1:30-1:45AM, the women at check-in seemed bothered that we were there and barely spoke to us. The valet men outside told us where the self park was, so I asked the reception lady about it and she said she didn't know, she didn't attempt to find out, or offer us any info. She did the absolute BARE minimum. Our room was huge, smelled awful (as if a dog had made a mess and someone did a bad job of cleaning it by attempting to disguise the smell with air freshener) stains in the carpet and little gnats or fruit flies, mostly around the bathroom window and a few in the main room. I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The best part of our stay was checking out and seeing the morning staff, what a difference. These are the types of workers that should be checking people in no matter what time they arrive. The women who checked me out was smiling, friendly and talkative.
