THG's Hot Chicken

This is a mom and pop version of Dave’s Hot Chicken but better! I like the daily deals. I got the Wed $18 for 2 sliders, tender and fries. Pretty good! The chicken tenders in the sliders were crispy and juicy. The buns are soft and the mayo/comeback sauce goes so well to dilute the spice. I also like how high you can go with the spice levels. Only thing I’d like is maybe an option for dark meat (chicken thighs) in the sandwiches as I find those to be way juicier.

First time ordering from THG. The buns were a bit hard but delicious sliders nonetheless! I got 1 hot and 1 mild. The hot was not spicy at all. The service was amazing & the food was fresh. Will be coming back!

First time here, definitely not my last. Ordered their “Dirty Mac & Cheese” and their “Chicken strips & seasoned fries”. Was not disappointed. Seasoned well, spiced well, and tasted great !! Great portions. No place to sit and eat however, if that matters to you. Either way, great spot for Nashville Hot chicken & all that. Will be coming back. Thanks guys !!

Heard the rave about this place. I was super skeptical because places give the influencers the giant pieces. THG’s IS NOT LIKE THAT. It’s as if they are serving you the whole chicken breast, which equals one tender. I appreciate it a lot. The flavour was there, the spice was there. It was delicious. The said it would be a 20 min wait, it didn’t feel so long. The food came out pretty quick. The space is just a bit cramped.

Solid spot for fried chicken sandwiches & tenders. The sandwiches may look small, but they are very filling. And depending on the spice level you choose, it actually hits, as in Xtra hot is legit Xtra hot. Fries are a nice touch, need to try the other apps next time around.

Delicious sliders & tenders, great spices, and flavourful sauces. Been coming back multiple times with friends and family. The medium spice level hits just right for us but they have even spicier options for those daring. Their comeback sauce compliments the sliders and fries really well. Recently tried their Mac and cheese which was great too. Definitely check out their weekday deals! HS Halal. Take-out only!

Wow, the food is so fresh and you can tell from the oil that they keep it clean all day. The place is clean and staff is amazing. When I come in I must say, Sannu has wonderful customer service and makes you feel at home. She knows how to answer calls for order and deal with you face to face without making you feel ignored. Very professional and I highly recommend visiting Scarborough THG

They definitely bring the spice. Very hot and as it is a powder or shake added to it takes a little bit to build up. Chicken stayed crispy even with a 45 min commute. Fries were good and they even still had some crispy. I had combo #4. Beware this is a lot of food. I ended up saving one of the sandwiches for the next day.

There was a guy in front of us on our way to THG on Sheppard E speeding and illegally passing cars in front of him. I thought the dude was probably having a toilet emergency, but no, bro seriously swung into the THG plaza and parked in front of THG & rushed into THG. He just couldn't wait for the chicken sliders and broke bunch of laws on his way to the restaurant. Crazy work The spot is for take out so there's no seat.

I've been a fan of this place since I stumbled upon their food truck in Mississauga. Now If ever I'm in Scarborough, especially late night this is a spot you got to check out for some hot chicken. The menu has been evolving to include their Nashville Shrimp, Chicken Wings and limited weekend Dirty Bird Ballers Mac which includes lobster on their mac and cheese. I really enjoy the chicken tenders, the seasoning is point and I can go as high as medium spice due. Add that cheese sauce its a banger of a meal. They're really quick with the turnaround after ordering and a very friendly staff that helps you out. This is a take out spot in Scarborough that is well decorated and I can't wait for their Mississauga location to open up.

We got the hot box combo 5 which comes with 4 jumbo tenders, hot fries, sliced bread and pickles, it was a decent portion for 20 bucks, the tenders were juicy, moist, the sauce tasted like chick fil a sauce it was okay, the fries I liked the crinkle cut fries, with some heat. Service was pretty quick, and I am really intrigued by the art work inside, whoever did that deserves kudos, the chicken had good heat, definitely not as good as Chica's or Tokyo hot fried chicken . The ambiance is really nice, really unique artwork, meat was moist I should've ask for spicier that's my fault. Thg has some work to do to improve but overall it wasn't bad.

Already know I'll be going back! Got the Thursday deal so $5 off a combo 4 (normally $30). Came with 2 jumbo sliders, fries, and 1 more tender. Way more food than I thought because each jumbo slider had two tenders inside. Got the spicy chicken and it was amazing! So juicy and the sauce with it was perfect. Perfect for two people. Also got the Mac and cheease side for $6 which was a good addition to help with the spice. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area!

Provided all take out correctly. Food was very good. The hottest spice did the trick! Comeback sauce is the way to go !

Was in this plaza and stumbled across THG's Hot Chicken! Super trendy looking place, however do plan on eating elsewhere as there are only around 4 tables near the window. Service was decent but a bit on the slower side, but this is chicken that we're talking about, so that is expected! THG's has specials running from Monday to Thursday, so check their website under the menu tab to see what they have! I opted for the Monday deal, which was the Hot Box 1 for $12. This included a slider and hot fries. Monday: Hot Box 1 $12 Tuesday: Hot Box 2 $16 Wednesday: Hot Box 3 $18 Thursday: Hot Box 4 $25 When I ordered Hot Box 1, I was definitely expecting a small, pathetic slider like you typically get when you order a slider from a burger restaurant. Instead, I got a huge and thick piece of a chicken tender that was basically a full chicken burger by itself. Super juicy, with beautifully crispy breading. What really sealed the deal was the chicken sauce - it definitely played a role in how good this burger is. The chicken they use for the slider is a tender, so there are some spots on the side where it's just bread, but the chicken is so thick that it's really not a problem if you are taking multiple bites at a time (which you definitely will once you sink your teeth in)! The hot fries were super crisp, not really spicy at all if that deters you. However, I feel like they could use more of that hot seasoning to really pack on the flavour (Don't be afraid to ask for more seasoning!). They were so delicately coated that it was a bit on the blander side. They do give you an extra container of that chicken sauce though, so use that to your advantage! Now, the prices are definitely high. However, the quality of the food I think it worth it, especially if you are taking advantage of the weekly specials. I have been thinking about the dirty mac and cheese and the chicken here and am excited to come back to try more. If you are having chicken cravings like I am, this is a great spot!

Halal. Walk in shop. I was hoping I could give this place a five star. However to be honest the actual tenders was nothing outside of what you can make at home. It needed more seasoning. The flavor wasnt fabulous. However the "chicken sauce" dipping sauce that comes with it was really good and enhanced the flavor and will keep me coming back. What also brought the rating down is cost. We got a combo five which had 4 tenders, some fries, a pickle slice and a slice of bread. That cost us $20. For the amount you're getting, and the flavor, I would say it was more like $12. If it included a medium sized coleslaw, and drink, I might say "okay", but it was literally just for tenders and a regular fries. Sliced bread really doesn't serve purpose. They took 30 minutes just to make four tenders and throw in some fries. So call 30 minutes ahead of time for your order and just pick it up. They accept credit card. Lots of parking.

I keep coming back for more! They have really good nashville burgers. It keeps you full. The chicken is spicy and tasty. Service is quick.

A nice spot in Scarborough for spicy chicken burgers. The burgers were big and really tasty. I think it's more worth it to come here than Dave's hot chicken. It's more affordable and the sliders are not tiny like at Dave's. The fries are also very good. I would return here again.

The food was very tasty the first time i had it and not so much the second time. The fries are really good, different from most places. The chicken is cooked really well, i believe its buttermilk seasoned. Lovely staff

I absolutely love this spot. The customer service is fantastic. The food is delicious and portion sizes impressive. The food does take about 10-15 minutes but it is made to order and I cannot explain how well done it is, they have truly mastered the hot chicken sandwich. The ingredients are fresh and the chicken itself is seasoned to perfection. Also the cheese sauce and fries are a must order.

Hands down the best fried chicken spot in all of GTA. There is never a time I can turn away THGs. The chicken taste soo fresh and the flavour is incredible. Just hoping they can expand the restaurant so there are places to dine in.

Located in a small yet busy plaza - this is a pretty good fried chicken spot. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, it was crispy and the bun was really soft. The service was good and fast. There is no spots to eat except maybe 2 bar stools. It's basically a pick up joint. The only real complaint is the Mac and cheese was creamy and worked well with the hot chicken BUT the Mac and cheese had zero flavour! Keep Eating, Angela

Chicken is similar to Dave's Hot Chicken and the sauce is like Chick-Fil-A. Take out only and wait times may vary. My order took about 30 mins but the chicken came out freshly cooked.

Easily the best Chicken spot I've ever been to. Service was exceptional. The food is made to order and was prepared perfectly. It's mainly a quick service restaurant so you can eat quickly while there. I loved every bit of it. I bought enough food to last me 2 days and I'd go back for more. Everyone should try it!
