THG's Hot Chicken Scarborough

First time trying this joint and definitely won’t be the last. Grabbed the Wednesday special for $18 and it included two sliders, one chicken tender and crinkle cut fries that are seasoned with a nice kick to them. Food is delicious and great value for what you get. A fraction of the cost of the big chain. Daily specials are a great deal! Service was quick and friendly.

THG’s chicken has become a family favourite for us. The meals are a dream - so fresh and flavourful and has left a lasting impression in our hearts and pallet:) The portions are a good size and so tasty - no matter what you order. I can’t wait to have it again soon :) P.s. the restaurant is always busy so order ahead of picking up :)

This is a mom and pop version of Dave’s Hot Chicken but better! I like the daily deals. I got the Wed $18 for 2 sliders, tender and fries. Pretty good! The chicken tenders in the sliders were crispy and juicy. The buns are soft and the mayo/comeback sauce goes so well to dilute the spice. I also like how high you can go with the spice levels. Only thing I’d like is maybe an option for dark meat (chicken thighs) in the sandwiches as I find those to be way juicier.

Amazing food. Amazing service. We lost our receipt but they remembered our order and as we walked in after waiting 20-25 minutes we received our meal on time as promised. Yes the meal we ordered took close to half hour to be made but it was well worth the wait so just a heads up to order ahead and you must wait. Keep your receipts because we pay for the receipt as well! Ask for utensils and napkins. Only downside is there isn’t any space to dine in and it can get busy quick which results in a line up. Well worth the visit, highly recommended!

This meal single handedly changed the trajectory of my life. I started crying when I received the holy grail equivalent of dinner. I found this place on a TikTok review and risked my precious 30 dollars on it and I don’t regret a thing. Not only was the chicken tenders actually tender, but they were still so crispy after a 70 minutes delivery which seems like witch craft in my opinion. Everything is seasoned to perfection and they give you such high portions. I had to brace myself for impact eating the Mac knowing it would be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Its texture and flavour is out of this world and is the pinnacle of Mac n cheese perfection. I genuinely feel bad for people who have yet to experience true first love like this. I also asked for no sauce and they complied no questions asked, granted all business should do that but not all business actually listen. I’d consider starting a cult following dedicated to this restaurant. Thank you.

Tried THG for the first time after having it was promoted on social media. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong which I found out only after reaching Pickering. We had ordered all hot but one box of sandwiches was mild. So the hot was great but the mild was bleh. I hope staff pay more attention especially since this place is takeout only

Pretty decent fried chicken, but felt like on the slightly pricier side. Got TO’s hottest and didn’t think it was that spicy at all? Quite disappointed at that tbh. Otherwise, pretty decent flavours, good fries, and I like the comeback sauce (very similar to the Chick-Fil-A sauce), but nothing particularly stands out. The person taking my order was incredibly helpful. The place is very clean, but there isn’t really any space to eat (they have a small table, but it’s more for waiting due to the space available), so it’s more of a take out place.

First time ordering from THG. The buns were a bit hard but delicious sliders nonetheless! I got 1 hot and 1 mild. The hot was not spicy at all. The service was amazing & the food was fresh. Will be coming back!
