THG's Hot Chicken

Tried for the first time today and its a family favorite. Will be back for sure. Had Combo 2 which is 2 sliders and fries and Combo 5- 4 tenders, side of fries. Ordered a side of Mac N Cheese too. Chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. Big portions. Fries were one of the most meaty crinkle cuts I have ever seen. Beautifully seasoned and crispy. The side sauces were great too. This is mainly a takeout place. There is a window side high table with 4-5 bar stools. Place was popping so order ahead for pick up. Keep up the good flavors THG team.

We had a great experience at THG’s Hot Chicken in Scarborough. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. Also loved the texture of the breading. The sliders were great and the fries were excellent too, retaining their crispiness even after reheating. The chicken tenders were also really good, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ordered two of the Combo 2 (which was $4 off on a Tuesday) and two of the Combo 5. The total bill came up to $93. One small note on the heat level: we ordered the “Hot” spice, but it wasn’t quite as spicy as expected. Still tasty, just milder than anticipated — next time we’ll definitely go for X-Hot. There was a bit of a wait to collect our food, even though we placed the order about 30 minutes before arriving, but the positives made up for it. I also don't mind that the food is made fresh. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was absolutely impeccable — friendly, attentive, and professional. Overall, a solid spot for hot chicken, and we’ll definitely be back - with a higher spice level, of course :-).

Just wanted to let you know about the false advertisement at your Scarborough location which is illegal as per the government of Canada. Your restaurant advertises that on Thursday’s deal, there are 2 Jumbo Sandwiches and 2 Tenders, but we were only provided one tender. When informed the front counter yesterday, the girl said there is only 1 tender and the advertisement is wrong. This as per the law is the restaurant’s fault and needs to honoured to the customer. I’m a regular customer to your place, and during the holy month of Ramadan, this is absurd and absolutely cheating the customers. I will be formally submitting a complaint against the restaurant as the front staff mentioned if you want to complain please go ahead which shows that the restaurant is soo big in its ego and doesn’t care about the customers. I got the Hotbox 1 that comes with a fried chicken slider and fries. The fries were really well done, crispy with good seasoning. The slider didn't leave much of an impression. It was fine, just not something I'd spend my money on again!

THG’s chicken has become a family favourite for us. The meals are a dream - so fresh and flavourful and has left a lasting impression in our hearts and pallet:) The portions are a good size and so tasty - no matter what you order. I can’t wait to have it again soon :) P.s. the restaurant is always busy so order ahead of picking up :)

This is the dirty mac & cheese with original chicken. I thought, for some reason, that the original chicken would be spicy. Even though it wasn’t, the chicken was so good. I ordered through Uber Eats. I’ve been seeing a lot of hate on the mac & cheese, but for me, it was delicious—the sauce, the cheese on top, everything about it. I absolutely loved it. The chicken tenders, while not having any heat due to my own mistake, were so good—juicy and flaky. I really enjoyed how crunchy they were, even though they were sitting on top of pasta and sauce. They weren’t soggy at all! This place is a hit. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

First time trying this joint and definitely won’t be the last. Grabbed the Wednesday special for $18 and it included two sliders, one chicken tender and crinkle cut fries that are seasoned with a nice kick to them. Food is delicious and great value for what you get. A fraction of the cost of the big chain. Daily specials are a great deal! Service was quick and friendly.

First experience at THG. Food was really good and the whole family enjoyed it. Sandwiches were delicious and fries were fresh and crispy! Overall really good take out and we’ll be back.
