Thiem Hung Cafe

This place is one of the few remaining spots in the area that's still serving a large portion of food for the price. It's in a quiet corner of a strip shop. We make the drive from West Katy to enjoy the phò, bánh mì, and the Vietnamese yogurt. All so good at a great price.

I arrived on their opening day. The restaurant was really clean. I ordered 'Bo Ne' (beef combination) and milk coffee. Everything was tasty. Beef was moist and juicy. I like the idea of sizzling beef, keep my food hot while I eat to the very end. I would come back here anytime for Bo Ne in the future. The owners were nice and attentive to your need. Also I bought some 'Banh mi' (combination sandwich) and they were also good.

This was a great place to grab lunch from, the food was delicious. The service was really good as well, for being my first time here I can’t wait to get back to tryouts some of the other items on the menu. And for my fellow Coffee drinkers make sure you don’t leave without a Vietnamese iced coffee with milk F2 on the menu. Trust me you will definitely enjoy this drink, if you love coffee as much as I do… 😎

Bún thịt người was a good size even for a big adult. Good amount of noodles and veggies, meat are good but I prefer them more on the grill side. Pho also good size and pretty well made. Cute safe type environment and the corner of the shopping area

Everything was delicious! This was our 1st time here and not sure what to except. Even my super picky husband really enjoyed the Shaking Beef Rice dish. I had the House Special Pho which was favored very well.

Went here today for lunch with a co-worker. Here's my review: 1) Food: We ordered 2 Phở, very good. 5 Stars 2) Service: Quynh Huong is very nice and polite. 5 Stars 3) Atmosphere: Clean and organized. This is a good restaurant, but the location is not visible from the main street. Recommended for others to give it a try.

Very nice and attentive service. The food was amazing definitely 10/10 would recommend The phõ tái nám very delicious the egg roll and shrimp tempura well done!!! Dessert yummy in my tummy!!😋😋

The best Bò Né. Super clean place. We love it

Small little cafe in the corner of a small shopping center. They offer pho, bánh bao 3 ways (steamed, baked, and fried), bánh mì, rice plates, BoNe, and some desserts. I was stopping by to grab a quick lunch before work and wanted to get BoNe. However after seeing the $17.99 price on it I thought that was a little too much for lunch so I got the fried bánh bao $4.00 and bánh mì xíu mại. (Meatball sandwich) $6. The fried bánh bao was delicious! It's bigger than the ones on bellaire that sell for $3 and IMO taste better. The Banh mi Xíu mại was literally stuffed with meat! Well worth it! The male server checked on me a few times which I appreciated. Support this local Katy bánh mì shop!

I was so excited to try this place out but it was a big disappointment. My husband is easy and he even said he would never want to order here again. We ordered many things: combination banh mi, pork banh mi, cupcakes, eggrolls, che Thai, salted egg banh bao, cream puffs. The eggrolls were tiny and shrimp was half raw. Banh mi and banh bao were old. I could tell how they reheat it. The pate or butter was too salty. The cupcake was dry and didn't n't taste good like its look. Only the che Thai and cream puffs were good. I thought this place mainly sold banh mi and supposed it's good. I was wrong. I don't think it's worth a comeback for some dessert.

Went there for lunch pick up and was extremely pleased with the quality and flavor of the pho as well as the yogurts. They also have a mini bakery so there are always different cakes and jelly's to choose from. Overall, highly recommended.

Their sizzling beef steak on hot plate was amazingly delicious and the desserts/ drinks are a must. Great portions and price. I recommend going to this location for all occasions. The staff and owner are always warmly welcoming and friendly.

Been a long time customer at their old location, love their Vietnamese coffee, sandwiches, snacks and desserts but now with dine-in at their new location, get to enjoy their hot plate sizzling beef, always soft and tasty meat. Always great service and great food.

Tôi oder bánh mì,chè thái,bánh bao chiên, bánh kem chanh dây, bánh su kem và bò né đặc biệt. Các món ăn khá ngon, nhưng món bò né 21$ cho 1 phần khá đắt rồi nhưng lại để trong hộp đựng quá lỏng lẻo, làm nước sauce trong hộp đổ hết ra ngoài, khá thất vọng,món chè thái,đây là lần đầu tui thấy togo mà bỏ đá luôn trong ly chè, tôi hi vọng nhà hàng mình sẽ khắc phục những thiếu xót ko nên có đó!

bad service and bad food... never come back, pho likely is cooked and microwave so many times..
