"Thierry Born in Auvergne, Thierry Busset trained with European masters before taking his pastry prowess to London ’s Le Gavroche and Marco Pierre White (both of which peaked at three Michelin stars). His talent even tamed the famously mercurial Gordon Ramsay, who called Busset “one of the finest pastry chefs in the world.” Nestled on Alberni Street (which is rapidly turning into Vancouver ’s version of Rodeo Drive), Busset’s eponymous café is constantly bustling. Pop in for the pillowy macarons , but stay for the soups, quiches, and sandwiches crafted with house-baked bread. Open until midnight daily, the chic eatery also serves spiked drinks, perfect for sipping on the gorgeous heated patio. If you have your heart set on a particular treat, swing by early—fan favorites can easily sell out before noon."

Pricy downtown coffee shop and bakery. Very fancy looking desserts and a large selection of chocolates. A lot of seating is available outside in nice weather, limited seating inside. Limited service as they don’t bring the items to your table after ordering. The service was pretty slow on a workday at 5pm and many tables were left uncleared. Overall a fine coffee shop for meeting up or a coffee chat.

Desserts were beautiful. The decor was clean and outside seating was plentiful. I can see why this place has so much appeal. You eat first with your eyes. Picked out 3 desserts to share amongst 3 friends. Two out of the three were very rich and a bit sweet for my taste but if you love that in a dessert, this place is for you. The passionfruit was more to my liking because the tartness offset the sweet. They had a nice selection of macarons, chocolates, and coffee drinks.

What an amazing place to try my first pistachio latte. It was great. I also tried passion fruit cake. Recommend. Service and baristas were amazing and friendly

Excellent service and sweet treats. I used to say I don’t like matcha, but I like this matcha. Had the seasonal coconut mango matcha - yum! I recommend sitting with a friend and enjoying the spot.

Google
BEST little cafe in all of Vancouver. I come here regularly to get my cappuccino at the location on Alberni Street. I must say I have tried out various ham and cheese croissants throughout the city and Theirry’s has the BEST so look no further! Thierry is also a winner for the best chocolates - perfect for a gift and the world’s greatest macarons! Thierry will forever be my favourite cafe in all of Vancouver and I’m so lucky to have one in my neighbourhood!

今天跟朋友來 Thierry’s 咖啡館. I came to the one located in Downtown, but there are other branches in Vancouver. Macaroona and Canelee were great, but coffees were just fair. In addition, the chocolate cake was not soft and fresh (it was frozen) which was hard to cut into pieces. What we ordered in total was 34$ after tipps. There is a big table displaying most of the goods. One downside was the restroom. Once you step out the restroom, you are already in the main room, which makes the room a bit smelly (my friend and i were exactly in front of the restroom) and noisy due to door movements. I will return here though.

The Tahitian Vanilla Choux is literally the most delicious pastry I have ever had in my life. I went back twice during the week I was in Vancouver. Everyone needs to try this one pastry. It is truly incredible.

Google
Service was prompt and was greeted by multiple staff while waiting. Coffee and beverage was ok but service made up the difference. Pastry was the main selling point. Cakes were perfect and ideally consume in the cafe than take out. Macaroons were perfect to go sweets to enjoy at home. Lots of little to go attraction to enjoy while you wait. Always amazed by thierry's creativity and please keep inventing new and delicious pastry.

Yelp
One of the best Tiramisu desserts I've ever ordered. Light, not too much espresso, just perfect. So perfect I came back the next day to get another. This little bakery is so cute and I love that they are open late so we can get a treat after a nice dinner elsewhere. I noticed a lot of people just drinking coffee or on their laptops working. Very casual and busy. We got everything to go so not too much experience with the service except that they were very quick to help.

Yelp
I got an apple tart here and it was pretty good. I really liked the apple to tart ratio. The apples were very thin and so was the tart. It wasn't too sweet as well. However, it wasn't worth the price for me. Service is just counter service. The cafe itself feels very cozy and seems like a nice place to chill.

Yelp
I was having a really bad stomach ache today from dinner a day ago. So I opted to skip dinner, but still wanted a little something. My wife and I came here to share a piece of cake, and some mint tea to soothe my upset stomach. I'm not certain the name of the cake that we ordered. But it was a hazelnut flavor cake with mouse, a lovely layer of caramel, a delicious wafer crust on the bottom, and the entire cake had a wonderful chocolate shell. Everything about Thierry was fantastic in my opinion. Highly recommend this place to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Yelp
Thierry is so good, it should be considered a "destination" patisserie and coffee shop. It's on Alberni Street just past Georgia Street and the Hotel Vancouver. It has a large "semi heated" patio, and tables inside. This is an amazing place for chocolate or dessert decadence. If you need chocolate overload, order a slice of the Chocolate Marquise. Imagine a gourmet French snickers bar. Dark chocolate ganache covering a thick layer of fluffy milk chocolate on top of another layer or caramel with a hazelnut crunch bottom . I've been here two days in a row, and I'm pretty sure I'll make it three. The Spanish latte and pistachio latte are excellent. They also have croissants and all types of other baked goods. If you want something light order the chocolate mint eclair. Everything here is perfect! The staff are also excellent

Yelp
Thierry is a very convenient place for business meeting or casual catch up with friends in downtown. Service was honestly lacklustre considering the premium vibe they are trying to convey. If anything, cleanliness could be better because the staffs didn't really clean up the tables between guess. Pastry wise, I've tried their Almond Croissant ($7.45) and Hazelnut Pithivier ($7.45). Interestingly, my experience was very different each visit. The almond croissant was very, very hefty with generous almond filling. It was very sweet but still enjoyable for me (I have a very strong sweet tooth though). The second time I went there, I got the pithivier and another almond croissant. Both pastries were super dry (even a little bit stale) and the paste was very bland. Would be good if they can be more consistent as this makes me hesitate to come back. Coffee was just alright to balance the pastry, go with their hot chocolate if you want a better beverage option.

Yelp
I visited Thierry twice during my Vancouver vacation, both times before 9 AM so it wasn't too busy. I've tried a latte, croissant, ham & cheese croissant, and some of their chocolates. Everything from their pastries to chocolates to desserts look absolutely beautiful and delicious. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating, and service is quick and friendly.

Yelp
Thierry is my go-to spot for a petit déjeuner It offers an exceptional selection of coffee, and their pâtisserie is arguably one of the finest in Vancouver. The chocolats are divine, with every bite reflecting a true French mastery of the craft. As for the macaroons they are absolutely delightful, with the perfect balance of texture and flavor. And the cakes? They're like stepping into a Parisian pâtisserie -- delicate, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. It's a real slice of France in the heart of Vancouver. While parking can sometimes be a bit tricky, I always find that the ambiance and quality more than make up for it. Personally, I prefer a leisurely promenade to Thierry, where the walk only adds to the anticipation of indulging in their wonderful treats. Bon appétit!

Yelp
I stopped by here twice on my four day trip, and both times it was super busy. So come by before the lunch and dinner rushes, or be prepared to take your treats to go. My first visit was shortly after 7:00pm on a Thursday afternoon, and while it was busy the service was really efficient! I got the chocolate marquise, a lychee macaron and an oolong macaron. The slice of cake featured a tasty hazelnut dacquoise, hardened salted caramel, crisp and stable praline, and a rich chocolate mousse. It sounds like it'd be overkill on the sweets but it was super tasty, and the perfect portion for two to share! The lychee macaron had a strong lychee flavor and unexpectedly had bits of fruit in the center. The oolong macaron also had very strong tea notes. It was sweet but still earthy. I really enjoyed the oolong flavor! I also stopped by on Saturday around 12:45pm for a quick lunch. There weren't any open tables but I did notice that there plenty of people who had been sitting there for a while (without any food or drink at their table). Because I didn't see any open tables, I got my order to go. I opted for a raspberry lemonade (very refreshing and the perfect combination of sweet and tart), a lemon tart (not too sweet, with a very thick and rich crust), and a quiche Lorraine (don't recommend, it was fluffy and warmed but I just couldn't finish it because I didn't love the flavor or the texture). Given the sheer amount of cafes, bakeries, and patisseries, it's hard to say that Thierry's is the best of the bunch, but it is popular for a reason. If you're looking near the area and on the hunt for a rich (and somewhat expensive) treat, I recommend giving it a try.

Yelp
Everything at Thierry is exquisite!! The desserts are the most beautiful and delicious, rich in flavor!!
google avatar

Yelp
Tasty drinks and desserts here. Quality is usually there when the pastry is fresh. Took one star off because I feel the tables and chairs can use an upgrade as they don't seem to fit the nice ambiance of the cafe. It's a busy place and there is often a lineup, and tables are usually full so you have to be lucky to get one.

Yelp
Got their pastries in the morning! My favorite is their ham and cheese pastry! Pain au chocolate, raspberry pastry were also delicious. Friendly staff, nice interior. They also have some patio seating.

Yelp
We had a bit of time to kill so we stopped in to this lovely cafe. Not only is the cafe itself beautiful but everything they sell is gorgeous too. We finally landed on a pistachio and salted caramel macaron and a chocolate hazelnut cake that had all the flavors of a Ferrero Roche. It was so delicious.

Yelp
I loved this place. Got there at opening and pastries came out warm and flaky. Delicious. Prices reasonable and packaging beautiful. Servers were very kind.

Yelp
My husband and I had a serious sweet tooth because it was raining, cold & all I could think about was hot chocolate! We decided to come here because it was a very short walk from the hotel. We both ordered oat milk hot chocolates. I also ordered the lemon tart & my husband ordered a couple of macarons. Our cashier was extremely friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. It was pretty busy in there, but we were able to find a table. We didn't wait long for the desserts and hot chocolates to be ready. They serve them on these really cute trays and the presentation was nice. The hot chocolate was delicious! So rich, but the whipped cream cuts the richness very nicely. The lemon tart was to die for as well. It was the perfect balance between sweet and tart. My husband's macarons were also really tasty! They tasted fresh compared to a lot of other macarons we've tried, and had a nice consistency. We would definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver! Also loved how they're open pretty late!

Yelp
Delightful pastries and lattes and hot chocolate! After dinner and a Robson street stroll, we longed for a dessert. Happily, we ended up at Thierry. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was slow, but they were training someone to make the drinks.

Yelp
One of my favourite dessert place in Vancouver! This place is always so busy, sometimes I like to get some desserts and coffee to go and take to some garden around! Love their dessert from the macaroons to the pies. I used to come to this place since 2018. Never had any disappointments. The atmosphere is amazing, not so loud and not so quiet. Their menu is fabulous and there are a lot of good options. My favourite one is the pistachio choux and I love their pistachio latte! Both are perfect combinations! tiramisu and Spanish latte are good as well! Don't forget to check them out, you will not regret!! Cheers

Yelp
Found this place nearby the metro hotel that we were staying at. A lot of desserts selection and some pastries. We tried out the ham and cheese and also quiche. Ham and cheese were delicious. The quiche was ok. The service was superb friendly and welcoming. It's pretty quite not too loud. I thought it was to access water was to ask each time. It is behind the counter near the coffee bar. Oh yes. It's pretty pricey by the way.

Yelp
The Earl Grey Blackberry Chocolate Cake, the Black Forest Cake and the Tiramisu all tasted strong. However, they could have used more decorations for the cakes (e.g. instead of putting a ribbon around the Tiramisu, they could have decorated the top of the cake instead). In general, the taste is better than the presentation which is a bit saddening. In terms of service, the server was not well-trained. He only put a piece of plastic to prevent the cake slices from touching each other but he did not put a piece of plastic between the cake and the box, and the Black Forest Cake mashed onto the box which ruined the cake. Moreover, they should use some icing to stick the bottom of the Black Forest Cake onto the cardboard for stabilization. Also, the sides Earl Grey Blackberry Chocolate Cake were peeled off. Therefore, it looked inferior. We did not know if the cake was that way or if it was ruined by the server. These mistakes are unacceptable for a high-end bakery.

Yelp
I would actually rate my last experience a 3.5. The drinks are consistently good and the macarons are some of the best I've had in the city. But service varies depending on who's working. If you've never been before, their ordering system isn't clear right away. There are usually people stationed at various sections (pastries, chocolate, etc.) and you're supposed to pick those out before going to the register. However, there are more savoury options and the drink menu by the register, and pre-packaged goods are scattered around a giant table in the centre of the space. So what happens is a lot of people seemingly jumping the line to get to what they want and pay. Once you know how they operate, you can get things pretty quickly. It's difficult if you want to look at everything before deciding what to get though. My friend, who was visiting for the first time, wasn't being served, so she went to an available register to order instead. I had faced a similar situation earlier. The person I interacted with was cool, calm, and collected, and I got everything no problem. Someone else was behind the counter when it was my friend's turn and they were not as chill. I was shocked and dismayed at how they treated her. The response was "you know you should've..." in quite a condescending tone. Given there's no signage explicitly stating how to order, this was really rude. To make matters worse, my friend paid and then was told to wait off to the side for her dessert. We waited five minutes and nothing. Then, when we noticed another employee who wasn't preoccupied, we went to talk to them, proof of payment in hand, but they couldn't help. So we had to track down the person who served my friend and wait until they had a spare moment. A lot of trouble to get one treat. It all comes back to their complicated service system. I felt bad because it was really busy, being close to Christmas and all, but with that in mind you would think they'd be better organized.

Yelp
I visited this amazing place three days in a row when I was in Vancouver. The matcha latte was creamy, robust and just right. The barista handcrafted my matcha latte - stirring the matcha powder in the traditional Japanese way to make it as a matcha latte. Though it took time but it tasted so differently good. The bakery is yummy and presentable. Whether it is a simple croissant, almond croissant, hazelnut pithivier or macaron, all are amazingly good. Not super sweet but all look nice. I like the hazelnut pithivier the most as I don't see something like this in US. With all the nuts, it feels healthier. The croissant is also great. It is fresh, not greasy. The vibe is pleasant. There are limited number of tables inside but there are outdoor tables surrounded by plants. The quiet heaters make the outdoor tables comfortable and relaxing. This place is great for a coffee drink with friends or for a me-time. It is also a great go-to for coffee/bakery/chocolate gifts.
google avatar

Ingrid L.

Yelp
Indulge in crispy, flaky croissants that transport you straight to France. While the menu isn't vast, I found the limited choices quite charming.
google avatar

Yelp
FOOD A luxurious patisserie located in downtown Vancouver. It's clear that the desserts here are made with quality in mind, and the range of desserts available is wide. I had the mille-feuille/Napoleon. It was rich, decadent, not too sweet, and very creamy. It's definitely best to be shared. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly. There is a $0.25 upcharge if you would like a bag. AMBIANCE There is limited seating inside and outdoor seating available is available as well. The decor is absolutely cozy and lovely-- a great place to catch up with friends and a great escape from the rainy weather on the day I went. PARKING Parking garages are located nearby, and the storefront is also located nearby multiple avenues of public transport.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place out after seeing all the raving reviews. Came on a rainy afternoon and there were already a lot of people here but I didn't have to wait too long to order and get the pastries which was nice. - Passion Fruit Cake - Honestly this is THE reason why Thierry deserves a 5-star review. The creme was incredibly light and melted in your mouth with a just a bit sourness in it so that it wasn't too sweet. The baby macarons on the side gave it a really nice texture, and the passion fruit jam tasted like someone blended passion fruit and poured it directly on top of the cake. I cannot recommend it more. - Chocolate Marquise - If Ferrero Rocher was a cake it would be this. I wasn't a huge fan of the extremely sweet caramel underneath the cake but the chocolate mouse on top was to die for with its silky smooth but decadent flavor and taste. I really appreciate that the chocolate wasn't too sweet too which I think is the biggest downfall in desserts. Overall, would highly recommend coming to Thierry. Honestly, the price isn't too bad either because when compared to other places with similar reputations, the pastries would probably be selling for $10+ CAD.

Alex ..

Yelp
Great pastries and desserts. All made on the premises. I would recommend the pistachio latte. Unassuming from the outside. But the interior is very much felt a step up above getting caffeinated at Tim Hortons. Great location in the West End.

Yelp
Hands down easily one of the best dessert spots I've ever tried. I try a lot of dessert locations! I had a decadent chocolate slice with a layer of Carmel on the bottom. It's one of the best desserts I have ever had. Then I had a pistachio hot chocolate. Easily also the best I've ever had. This place gets more than 5 stars! Incredible!!!
google avatar

Anokhy D.

Yelp
Every time we visit Vancouver, I have to stop at Thierry. No one does pistachio with chocolate better! We of course stopped in for pistachio lattes, but came back that night for the drinking chocolate (so rich, so good) and some dessert (an alien concoction that was so refreshing!). I'd highly recommend everything in this shop and only regret the timing not working out, since I usually leave town with a small package of Thierry pistachio marshmallows (sold out when we got there). I did get the pistachio financiers though, and those lasted a good week unopened in the package before they were consumed.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
The best chocolate macarons in the city!!! I would eat these everyday if I could. It can get pretty busy and hard to find a seat, but grab them to go it it's packed inside. They are a bit pricey but worth it. #contestentry

Yelp
We came on a Wednesday at around 6pm and it wasn't overly crowded. Still a bit of seating left. We got the tiramisu and the mango tart. Both were okay. For what you get, the price is a bit steep. The mango one was nice and sour. Very refreshing. The tart wasn't too hard to break you and there is a decent amount of mango on there. The tiramisu wasn't overly sweet. It was creamy and the dark chocolate on the outside helped offset the sweetness of the inside. The tiramisu didn't really taste like a tiramisu. Wouldn't order it again. They are famous for their passionfruit (which is my favourite) and their triple mousse which I think is better than these two which I tried. Overall the service here is super nice. When it hits a busier more crowded time around 7pm. There's pressure from the crowd waiting to move as they are staring you down waiting for a table. Wish the staff could have a more orderly way of controlling that
google avatar

Waiyi C.

Yelp
The coffee shop itself is nice, but the service was lacking due to new staff or no training well? We ordered two coffee and two croissants. The cashier did not say anything of we paid. So, I assumed they will heat my croissants and call out my coffees. When we got our coffee, our croissants were not ready yet! So, I asked the staff and she just grab it for me without heating up. Why I need to wait then. The cashier should give it to us after we paid. Poor customer service without apology.
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
A pretty store (because it's filled with pretty desserts). Tried the whiskey truffle, passion fruit cake, banana coffee almond, chocolate marquise, and chocolate trio. Of all the items, the passion fruit cake ended up being my favorite. The banana was my least favorite. Everything was good, but nothing stood out so much that I would have a craving to return.
google avatar

Poonam S.

Yelp
Love Thierry's during winter months. Today it was packed so we waited a little bit to get a table. There were five of us but their seating space is so small that it's difficult to merge tables. We needed up doing it anyways with the help of a lovely waiter. Pastries were good. I am a savoury croissant fan so I got a jumbon croissant with ham and a pan au chocolat for my other half. Friends got Tiramisu and a few other pastries. Everything was good. Latte was delicious and their artwork was neat! Service was good. The prices are quite fair - I paid about $45 with tips for 3 people - 3 coffees, a tiramisu, and 3 savoury pastries. Downside: parking in the area is nuts - $6 per hour. But this is Vancouvers CBD and as much as I hate paying this much for parking, it was raining and cold so I sucked it up and paid for 2 hours!

Yelp
A nice spot on Alberni Street across from a lot of the local restaurants and shops and near downtown hotels like the Sheraton Wall Center and Hotel Vancouver for a coffee and sweet treat. Americano was great and croissant was so flaky and delicious I could have eaten 3 or 4 of them, but I didn't!!lol Lots of desserts and pastries to choose from. A nice patio to sit and chat and people watch or they have seating inside as well. Friendly and courteous staff and lots of traffic and looks to be a local favourite for downtown residences and I can see why.

Yelp
Amazing, edible works of art. The desserts here are perfection. Interesting textures and sublime flavors combine to make confections that aren't too sweet nor overpowering, but satisfy the sweet of tooth in the best possible way.

Yelp
This has been my go to place for hot chocolate late night and has been my fav spot for the last 3 years.

Yelp
Beautiful desserts, amazing selection, difficult to restrain myself buying one of each, the lattes were also excellent. Definitely a great place to take visitors for the wow factor.

Richard J.

Yelp
The new raspberry eclair was sooooo good! Loved the filling which is not too overly sweet. If I could get this everyday, I would! The pistachio hot chocolate was nice as well! I got it because I've never seen this on the menu at any other place and it did not disappoint!
google avatar

Sharyse W.

Yelp
The interior is a dream. It feels so luxurious and all the pretty pastries are lined up in the glass. We came here mainly for the hot chocolate, but decided to pick up a pastry as well. The Pan Au Chocolat was just average in our opinion. It was good, but just as good as any other chocolate croissant we've had. The hot chocolate though, AMAZING. It was creamy and not as sweet as expected (in a good way). The slightly bitter chocolate flavor and milk really melted together for a delicious treat. The cafe also offers lots of indoor and outdoor seating so there's a place to really enjoy! I would definitely return here for the hot chocolate, and maybe give the other more unique and signature pastries a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Continues to be one of my favorite dessert spots downtown! Love their macarons and individual cakes. Tasty and decadent.

Hailey W.

Yelp
The almond croissant is delicous. While Thierry is on the pricey side I don't mind paying because the quality is worth it. The almond croissant is a good size. It's crunchy on the outside and soft with lots of filling inside. I would also suggest visiting when they have the 'Fete Des Beignets'... the beignets with the caramel sauce are divine :) #ContestEntry

Yelp
Great cakes , good service and atmosphere , the chamomile tea is fresh , great location .

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night and it was quite busy, both indoor and outdoor seating was a little difficult to find. The ambiance is quite nice as the outdoor patio is nicely heated and well lit. We ordered the passion fruit marquise, opera cake, and earl grey blackberry chocolate cake. We agreed that the earl grey blackberry cake was the best, as it was not too sweet, had a strong earl grey taste, and all of the flavors surprisingly worked very well together. The passion fruit marquise was also quite good and had a nice sour passion fruit taste. The opera cake was nothing special and was too sweet. This place is quite pricey as well at about $10 per cake.

Yelp
If there was a such things as taking heaven and boxing it up to eat, that would be this place. I am FLOORED at how good each item I got from here was, and how I a) didn't know it existed until I decided to forego dinner for dessert and b) don't have any of these in Seattle because....I think we all need one of these. On my trip I got a raspberry eclair, which I was disappointed in because I wanted a traditional one but this was the only option, a tiramisu, a marquise, and a millefeuille. Lots of people were getting for there, along with coffee or tea, and enjoying the ambiance of the location which was tres chic, however I was on a mission to grab and run back to the hotel. Once there I bit into the item I expected to be my least favorite, the raspberry eclair, and OH. MY. GOD. It was amazing. Like truly amazing. I was planning for a couple bites of each item and that was it, but I ate the whole thing before I even realized what was happening. I take back any bad thoughts I had toward it before, because it was splendid and fresh. The rest only got a bite, but I can honestly say they were all amazing. I think my second favorite was the tiramisu, which I used the chocolate "leaves" enclosing it to effectively scoop the middle filling into my mouth, with a bite, to include the chocolate. Can't hate a dessert that includes edible silverware. ;) The Marquise I had purchased at several recommendations on here, and I agree the top mousse was divine, but the salted caramel bottom could have been left off and it would have stood find on it's own. The Millefeuille was added in as the lady before me snagged the last mango tart (curses!) however it was very delivious, albiet hard to eat as each layer was either really hard to cut through or really soft and squishing out the sides. At any rate everything from here was delicious and I cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
My partner loved this place. Every cup of coffee, every piece of dessert, even the pistachio marshmallow dipped in chocolate we brought home. My 7 yr old finished his passion fruit dessert! He almost never finishes anything! I didn't even get to try it. My older child loved the mango tart. It was delicious! We went there twice since it was walking distance from our hotel. Must try. Wish it wasn't just in Vancouver.

Yelp
This photo was like a month or so ago... BUT, I loved my time at Thierry The staff are so friendly and kind, shoutout to Joshua & Wendy!!! Oh and the lady who helped me select this cake when I came Was blessed to be able to get a seat to sit in when I went. My favourite thing from Thierry apart from the atmosphere and good vibes, is their macaroons

Rachel L.

Yelp
I came here a few years ago and had the best chocolate cake ever. I decided to try their hot chocolate this time and it didn't disappoint. It was so rich and creamy, but not too sweet. We came mid afternoon, and had to wait a few minutes for a table. Once they give you a table, you go inside to order and bring your food back to the table yourself. The hostess was attentive to remove trays as needed though.

F T.

Yelp
The chocolate marquis here is the most delicious thing ever. Seemingly too decadent looking, but in reality, it is more smooth and luxurious than it is decadent. The chewy bottom is an interesting and joyful compliment to the over texture of this magnificent dessert. Absolutely loved pairing this with a hot pistachio latte. Not many places offer pistachio lattes, let alone make it right. This place absolutely does! I usually don't prefer sitting outside when it's cold, but it was the only seat available and was beside a heater lamp. I was so happy with these 2 things that the cold didn't even matter anymore.

Yelp
Great option for an afternoon pick-me-up or a sweet treat. Definitely a lot of options to choose from for desserts and we asked for recommendations. Order: -Chocolate marquise: Hazelnut dacquoise, salted caramel, crisp praline, chocolate mousse. Definitely a decadent treat. The mousse is on the less sweet side which is preferred as it's balanced by the salted caramel. I love the different textures available with the praline -Passionfruit cake: Must get! Passionfruit mousse, white genoise, passion fruit galée. What a wonderful combination of fruit and flavor. The passionfruit comes out well, the mousse is airy and light. The macarons around the sides were extra cute. -Macarons (one of each flavor): Wins-- coffee, spiced plum, cranberry, salted caramel. Miss- sesame, gingerbread, lemon. Definitely a preference here, but to each their own! -Spanish latte- Pretty good, just definitely sweeter than your typical latte, but reminds me of Spain! Only downside is that it got pretty packed in there. Had to quickly snag a table as someone left. Lines can get long.

Yelp
The inside of this place was super cute and clean! In addition, probably one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever been to haha. The staff was quick and efficient with orders. Chocolate Marquis - Honestly I felt like this was too rich for me. The caramel on the bottom felt like a bit too much combined with the richness of the chocolate. My family members and I decided that this was the mousse version of the Ferrero Rocher chocolates. If you love Ferrero Rocher, you will love this. Passionfruit Cake - This reminded me of the type of dessert I would get at a Chinese bakery. It was amazing, not too sweet and strong passionfruit flavor. Also, it was super cute with tiny macarons embellished on the side of the cake. Although you couldn't really taste it, it added to the aesthetic. Overall, I would definitely come here again and recommend the passionfruit cake.

Yelp
We've been to 2 locations and experience at both were similar. It does get packed during peak hours but the service is fast and the packaging is good. If you're craving desserts and don't want to go on a guilt trip of buying an entire cake. Or just want to try out out different options you can consider Thierry. We've liked pretty much everything we've tried from here. Chocolate Eclair, Passion Fruit Cake, Chocolate Trio, Chocolate Marquise, and the blackforest cupcake. If you're thinking of coming here by car do remember that getting a parking nearby is a pain. And if you're stars align or you're just super lucky and do find a spot, parallel parking with the constant traffic will test your parking skills under high pressure.
