"La Boulangerie is Thierry Marx’s bakery, which represents the realization of a childhood dream. It offers a multitude of golden loaves and a varied choice of 'cuisine dans du pain', including breadmaki, inventive combinations of different fillings rolled in bread slices." - Stephanie Curtis

I don't understand why this bakery has so low reviews. Staffs are super nice and quiche lorraine was incredible. Only downside is coffee is from automatic machine. Other than that, everything was nice. You can use ur laptop but are recommended to order bakeries with coffee.

I can't quite wrap my head why this place has such terrible reviews - came in for a sandwich, and it was SO good that I had to go back in to get another one, plus more things to try! The chicken+sundried tomatoes+cheese sandwich on a mixed grain bun was just perfect. Also loved the spinach and mushroom quiche, gianduja financier, and chocolate Madelines!

The tropézienne tart I bought was ok but the praluline was quite disappointing. The cafe could use some aesthetic renovation to make it nice to spend time in. Right now it looks like a cantine. Nice staff though.

The Choco/Noisette viennoiserie was great. However, the Latte was served from a coffee machine and was not tasty at all. Also, the bakery actually expects people to come with their laptops to work but they don't have Wifi... So overall, the bakery is not an ideal place to visit to work remotely. Maybe the place is just meant to be a quick stop to grab a sandwich or bread ? Staff is very friendly though ☺️

The service is terrible, my husband came in with a coffee in his hand and made an order to take away, the attendant said that he couldn't bring in coffee from another place even we were going to get it to take away and we weren't going to sit in the space. The attendant started speaking in arabic to the other attendant and turned to my husband and pointed to a sign telling him to leave and that it was prohibited, extremely rude.

Great little place, with lots of outside and indoor space. Perfect for hot summers! Food was really tasty! We had a club sandwich and a mushroom quiche. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good and tasty food. I recommend the quinoa avocado bowl, although I don't think it was well balanced (too many seeds, not enough quinoa, not enough pomegranate seeds)... it was too expensive in my opinion, given the small portion. I understand it's Thierry Marx and his boutique is in the 7th, but still. It's a whole budget if you need to grab a sandwich or salad and dessert every day. He is famous for his praline brioche. All the viennoiseries looks delicious. The flan looked tasty as well. Good store, since you can find everything you want: savory, bread, sweet, patisserie, viennoiseries etc. The staff is pretty friendly. The store is weirdly designed, you have to loop inside and go out the way you came in, even though there are glass doors near the cash register (maybe because of covid?!). Will go back for the name and try new flavors but it's expensive, which is too bad. I would go more often if it was cheaper. Perhaps my liver will thank me for less butter and sugar! You can eat outside, which is really pleasant

Yelp
Happened across this place due to a couple of other closer boulangeries being closed. Great find with superb bread, baked goods, coffee and service to match.
