The 38 Best Restaurants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin | Eater

"2025 may be remembered as the year Milwaukee’s microbrew wave crested and rolled back (R.I.P. Enlightened, City Lights, MobCraft, Company). But Third Space proudly carries the torch for Beer City. Since opening in 2016, it has established itself as a forerunner of all things hoppy, hazy, and juicy. The brewery itself features a sprawling indoor/outdoor tap room and “beer garden,” which is actually an industrial maze of riverside and train track-adjacent Menomonee Valley charm (though the space is plenty welcoming when filled with live music and food trucks). You’ll find Space represented on a lot of taps around town, usually anchored by the aptly named Happy Place: a 5.3 percent sessionable but potent ale that pops with just the right bit of bitter, which has become one of Milwaukee’s best, ubiquitous brews. Know before you go: If you don’t eat here, head across the street for a burger at Sobelman’s, and then make your way to BBC Lighting, a family-friendly treasure trove of bric-a-brac and miscellanea." - Todd Lazarski

Situated along the railroad isolated from the hustle and bustle of city centered breweries, this place features plentiful outdoor seating to enjoy the warmer days and parking to match. It provides a quieter scene being in a relatively undeveloped area. The beers are good with a healthy selection to choose from.

Google
We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Third Space Brewing, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was amazing — relaxed, fun, and just the right vibe for bringing everyone together — and all at such an affordable price. One huge plus was that we were able to bring in outside catering, which gave us the flexibility to make the night exactly how we wanted it. The bar staff were so kind, helpful, and made everything easy for us. The beer selection was incredible, our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! So many people said they can’t wait to come back and visit again. We’re so glad we chose Third Space for such an important part of our wedding weekend. Highly recommend for any event!

Google
My husband and I were looking for a venue to host a very casual rehearsal dinner before our wedding and Third Space was perfect! They have a great little separate area to rent for an incredibly reasonable price. The rental space fit about 40 people and we were able to bring in any food we wanted, so we ordered pizza and provided a selection of desserts and salads. Our event contact, Kara, was very responsive and let a couple of our friends arrive even before our rental time to set some decorations up. When severe weather caused a power outage, they were incredibly apologetic and still served us the best they could. The manager let us know they had to close early considering the outage, but truthfully, we still had a great event during the time we had. Our event contact, Kara, followed up with us the day after to see how they could make it right, which was a thoughtful, professional gesture. If you’re looking for a relaxed venue for a party or small event, Third Space was a great affordable option with an awesome, accommodating team.

Google
Beer was not that good and credit only option (odd for a place that has cash arcade/crane games?). Kid friendly too with some board games.

Google
Third Space is the place... to go to in MKE. There is so much space to chill out and have some great beers! Wide open concept inside and out. It's such a great chill vibe here. Keep up the great work!

Google
Stopped in a month or so ago with the kids and grabbed a quick beer. The location is great, and there is lots of parking. The environment is great and is child friendly. The beers we tried were refreshing. We will be stopping back when we have more time.

Google
Third time to Milwaukee, first time to Third Space. Coming from Colorado I consider myself a bit of a beer snob. But I was surprised by the selection of tasty brews along with the warm and friendly space. Took my grandkids there, and they were happy too. Nice place, Third Space.

Google
Third space brewing is such an awesome brewery with many different beer selections. The bar opens up so it feels like you are outside as well. Would highly recommend on a summer night as they have nice lights and seating outside as well. More importantly they have a lot of delicious beer options. Would recommend for any beer lover. Can't go wrong coming here!

Yelp
This was my first time making it out to Third Spacing Brewing. First thing to know is parking is extremely limited and you'll probably find yourself parking on the street. I wish they had a bigger lot because this place is pretty large if you are sitting outside. I came on a Thursday night at 5 and they had a live band at 7. I got a lavender lemonade ale but I couldn't taste the lavender at all. To me it was just okay as beer goes. They had board games you could play with friends. They didn't really have food but they had a vendor that had a tent outside selling hamburgers and things. Overall it's got a really good patio and I would probably come again on a sunny day and so I can try a different beer.

Yelp
On a recent brewery crawl in Milwaukee, we stopped into Third Space to have a beer and play a game! A private lot outside makes parking pretty easy! The space itself has plenty of seating for various size groups! We grabbed a table near the loading dock, which was away from the louder noises happening around the brewery! Service was excellent! We wanted to play Yahtzee, and there were no score sheets left so the bartender went out of his way to print us out new ones. Top notch! The beer was lovely! Lots to choose from but I particularly liked the Smoked Lager! The rest of the group enjoyed their IPAs, as well! Some snacks (pretzels, popcorn) are available for purchase but no food on the premises.

Yelp
Tl dr: amazing beer, amazing space and kid and dog friendly! What's a set of parents to do when they have twin soon to be toddlers that (in the most loving way) keep them captive at home by 7ish when they go to bed???? Get your butts as a family to an amazing brewery of course. Enter Third Space - open during the afternoon with great beer, a wide open outdoor space for bags or other fun activities and a relaxed atmosphere. People seem to love to bring their dogs and children, so there's always activity and fun people/pup watching. My husband's favorite is Unite the Clans and I've always loved their Java Blanca but it's only available certain times of year. So, I'll normally get something random that sounds good to me, and it will be!!!! Staff is friendly and kind and the place is always kept clean and accessible. Lots of amazing ramps to keep things accessible for all folks. Will always make Third Space a part of our family's fun beer get-out-of-the-house-for-a-bit rotation. PS years ago I rented the space for my husband's 30th birthday. It was fantastic, the staff was wonderful to work with and it definitely helped with the space as it was a HUGE group of folks.

Yelp
Good sours, many IPAs, lots of outdoor space, run down industrial neighborhood. Go anyway.

Yelp
Probably our favorite taproom in the city! We love Third Space beers, always a bunch of options on tap. Their Ice Bear Fest in January is one of the best Winter events in Milwaukee! So fun!

Yelp
Checked out this brewery with some friends, and we were blown away by the creative selection of beers and excellent service. They were legitimately excited to have us sample various offerings so we could decide what to order a full pours of. They mentioned there would be a tour starting in about 20 minutes, so we joined it. Our tour guide McKenna was excellent - informative and funny. It is clear the staff here really care to make you feel welcome and their craft beer speaks for itself. Will definitely come back next time we are in Milwaukee.

Yelp
Great outdoor space to enjoy good drinks. I am not big on beer, but being in Milwaukee I obviously had to stop at a brewery. Third space is the first place my friend recommended and today was the perfect day to have a drink outside. The space gives industrial vibes being close to the railway and the bartenders were knowledgeable. Outside is dog friendly and that's always fun. Also there was a cool food truck parked outside! Having a taco truck on Cinco de Mayo was definitely the move. Overall 4/5 stars and I'd return again.

Yelp
Third Space is an awesome brewery, I personally enjoy their selections and the space is unique. They've expanded their outdoor seating area. It's a family and kid friendly place. They have live music so check their website for shows! I do wish they had some food options BUT they are okay with you having food delivered and have food trucks during the summer! Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street if needed. You can also buy their beer cans to go or at many local stores.

Yelp
"You have your home, you have your work, but everyone needs a third space". This is the motto of my favorite Milwaukee based brewery! Located in the Menomonee River Valley, they have a revamped, expanded beer garden. That space includes an outdoor bar, lots of seating, a stage and space for yard games, seating and fire pits. During summer they have live music on Thursdays and the Triciclo Peruvian food truck on site (bonus: they do allow carry in food)! But the real show stopper here are the beers. They have a great selection that is sure to please everyone! If you are indecisive like me than go for the Happy Place (flagship brew), a really smooth, balanced hoppy pale ale. Another great option is Unite the Clans: A Scottish ale with slightly roasty and malty flavors. All the IPA's are wonderful, and they also have some fun, interesting seasonal brews. Another cool thing about this place: Every Friday @ 5:45 they do what is called The Brewmaster's Toast: He toasts the crowd, taps the keg and every beer from that keg is $1 until the keg blows. They also do Yoga classes and other events throughout the year. This is a solid spot to hang out year-round, but if its summer in Milwaukee you'd be hard-pressed to find a better spot to grab a beer (or 2), take in the rays and listen to some tunes than at this killer brewery.

Yelp
Another great stop for local beer and chill vibes! Third Space has some of our favorite tap selections in the city! Happy Place is my go-to brew at pretty much any local bar or restaurant. We were lucky to be here on an unusually warm April day, so our pup got to join us outside! Their expanded outdoor space is fantastic, and we can't wait to come back for some outdoor events and live music on the stage. Would be great if dogs were allowed inside the taproom, since they don't seem to have a kitchen, but the fabulous outdoor vibe makes up for that. Don't miss this one!

Yelp
What a difference a couple years makes. Not only has Third Space upped the game but they set the bar at an entirely new level. I'm so glad I didn't "give up" on this place. Hoppy Place has been and will always be one of my favorites go to beers and Third Space keeps rolling out the hits with a solid assortment of stouts and IPAs. Then icing on the cake is the revamped outdoor space of the brewery and the amazing IPA Fest they put on with more Wisconsin breweries than you could shake a stick at. We came in VIP style and I'm sure glad we did since we got to go around and sample a good portion of the goods and sit in our own dedicated area that included 5 beers not on tap for anyone else. Third Space is beer heaven. Keep up the good work and keep making the digs as comfortable and chill as they come!

Yelp
So, here's the issue. 2024 Reel Craft Pass book (buy one, get one free), is a fabulous format to introduce you to breweries throughout the state that you would otherwise not know of their existence. This is the only brewery that gave us a limited choice of brews that we could select. So if your preference is for an IPA, you are out of luck. If you've traveled across the state to reach this destination, don't bother. There are plenty of others within a close proximity that will welcome you. I don't need a free beer. That's not why I purchased the book. I just want to be introduced to something I might forever be loyal to and love. They highlighted the "Unbridled Enthusiasm Juicy Double IPA " in the book, so lured us in, but alas, that was not an option. We did not use the book (why get something you're not fond of). The IPA was good. Will not be back.

Yelp
After receiving a recommendation from our favorite Chicago brewery, we stopped by Third Space Brewery the last two times we've been in Milwaukee. We were not only pleased, but we were blown away! My spouse loves IPAs and he was thrilled at the hop-forward nature of many of the beers. His favorite of the IPA option was the Heavenly Haze. He loved how it was hop forward, while also being juicy and flavorful. He looks forward to continuing to try more varieties in future visits. I've tried a variety of different beers during our visits, but some of my favorites include the Ice Bear (Baltic porter) and Thaison (Thai spice saison). Both are creative and rich in flavors. But my favorite was the Frog Weiss, the raspberry fruited sour. The flavor was bright, crisp, and distinct without being overly sweet. I also look forward to trying many more in the future. The staff are great, health and safety rules are followed enabling employees and customers to both be safe, and space is wide open for spreading out, both inside and outside. Chic, new, and ever expanding, it is a great place to come with a group or for some one-on-one time! There is a food truck on site, but you can also bring food from outside. Win-win! We highly recommend Third Space and we look forward to many more visits in the future. It is definitely the best new brewery in the Milwaukee scene!

Yelp
Cool people. Good beer. Great signs. The beer signs are so fun and creative! They make me want to try all of the different taps. Bri is very talented!

Yelp
Had a really nice time checking this place out on a Saturday afternoon. They have a great indoor and outdoor space. You can see the brewing area from the indoor seating. We wanted to try a couple of flights. I loved the mystic knot and the Java Blanca. We will definitely be back to enjoy their outdoor space this summer.

Yelp
Working warehouse brewery tasting room with outdoor biergarten. Busy and successful place. Go up to the counter and order your beer of preference. About 16 choices. Flights, too. Snacks like curds, large pretzel and burgers available to order.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Third Space has the perfect open chill vibe that you're looking for in a brewery! The staff was super helpful to explain what the beers were like compared to the type of beer we usually like. The Heavenly Haze IPA is our all time favorite Hazy IPA out of any we've tried. If you like Hazy's, you must try the Heavenly Haze!

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been to Third Space taproom (due to Covid). The brewery has that great industrial look and feel because I imagine it used to be an old warehouse. Typical brewery! It's fun and spacious area which is nice right now. Can definitely spread out. I'm here on a Sunday. The crowd is small at the moment and the weather is beautiful. Always afraid I'm going to miss it but when I see the bright green lines along the brewery side, I remember where I am. I'm a big fan of the seasons and speciality beers they do. If your a tourist or a locals it's definitely worth a stop and City Lights Brewing is tight around the corner.

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town, and Third Space Brewing was near the top of our list of places to check out. Everything from the beer to the food to the atmosphere sounded great online. The reality was completely disappointing. The beer was okay, and might have been good enough to enjoy the place a little, but so-so beer and a really rude, crabby bartender when there are so many other options isn't worth the time or money. ($21 for a flight of four small pours? The brewers seem to think a lot of their creations.) Besides the really unwelcoming attitude when we went to order beer, the food truck employee seemed to be really unhappy with her job/life and took it out on the customers. We ordered two things to share and only received one. After the unpleasant experience so far (who wants that on vacation?), none of us wanted to deal with the surly person at the food truck or get another beer and wait for the missing food to be prepared, so we chose to leave, disappointed in the experience and having paid $20 for food we didn't receive. Not on our list of places to revisit on our return trips to Milwaukee.

Yelp
Third Space Brewing offers up craft beer for beer lovers of every variety, whether you love a malty stout, hoppy ale, or an easy drinking golden--Third Space has it. Plus? They have an amazing space. Their tasting room is huge! Sidle up to the bar, one of their communal tables, or head back to enjoy one of their bar games. If you come in warm weather, they have a large outdoor space with picnic tables and outdoor bar games as well. Onto the beer. I've tried a few of the brews and find they lean a bit on the hoppier end of the spectrum (great news for hop heads!). This last time I went, I tried their Acres Edge (oatmeal stout), Liquid Layers (spiced barley wine), and their Ice Bear (Baltic Porter). The Acres Edge was a solid stout though a little less boozy than your typical stout (5.7 ABV) which came across in the flavor for me. But, what it lacked for in depth, it made up for in complexity (roasted, malty, nutty, even a bit chocolaty). The Liquid Layers was a miss for me. It was actually quite boozy in both flavor and ABV (9.4) as well as offering the complexity of a barley wine with the addition of holiday spices. But, the flavor had too much going on for me. However, it could be that I just didn't fancy some of the spices they used. The Baltic Porter, however, was my favorite. Rich and malty with a hint of smokiness, Ice Bear is the perfect cold weather brew. At 9.5ABV, it'll warm any cold winter's eve. They don't offer eats, but I've been in both warm and cold weather and each time I've been there's been a food truck on site (niiiice!). If you're looking for a fun atmosphere with some kickin' brews to boot--this is your spot! Get to it!

Yelp
My husband found a groupon for this brewery and decided to check it out while we were exploring downtown. The venue is pretty cool and they had a lot of tables and lights set up outside. I am not a huge fan of a large variety of beers and I did not see many options on their tasting menu that I was interested in trying that were included in the flight. I was intrigued with trying their Barrel aged options but in the included flight, you had to pay an upcharge for one of these which was the exact cost of a 4 oz sample, so no reason to use it in our flight. One of the main beers on their regular menu (Java Blanca) that I wanted to try when I knew we were coming here was also out- I tried the Acres Edge, White the Clans, Oktoberfest, and Cold Fusion- the beers were fine but I would not order any of them again. We ended up leaving after the tasting since we didn't want to order anything larger than our samples. The actual brewery area is cool and it is nice that they let you bring in your own food as well! I would not recommend this as a must visit if you're just visiting but seems like a popular place for locals & just depends on your specific beer preference. The staff were nice as well!

Yelp
Great beers, nice space both inside and outside. Perfect place before a Brewers game.
google avatar

Mark Y.

Yelp
Above average beer in a cool location with a great vibe. Their pretzel was the best I've ever had- perfectly crispy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside. The Unite the Clans Scottish ale was a standout, as well as the Unbridled Enthusiasm DIPA.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Great local place and super clean , doing a great job here for social distancing. Love the India Pale Ale
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
A fun and spacious brewery! They had a large selection of great beers, both seasonal and year round options. I enjoyed my flight and loved the "Heavely Haze", a juicy, and as the name suggests, hazy IPA. If you're looking for a cool warehouse brewery vibe with space for large groups and refreshing beers, Third Space is an excellent choice!!
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Such a good brewery to go to, just a bit further from the ones downtown but totally worth it. They have great beers and I love that they have a food truck there as well. I'm glad the outdoor area is complete as it provides great summer seating in the patio area.
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
Third Space has managed to maintain its spot as one of the stand outs amongst what seems to be an ever growing list of Milwaukee breweries. They've managed to appeal to the beer nerds while still maintaining a healthy list of very sessionable beers, so hats off to them! I love that they've upped their game by continuing to offer more special release bottles/ events. Plus, they're in a great location/ space to host some great parties. Great spot for groups, tough spot for quiet conversation. I see that they're starting to branch out and offer a wider variety of events including a running group and I think even yoga?! So I guess basically what I'm saying is Third Space gets a lot of things right- beer list, location, space (including the coveted PATIO). What's not love, really?

Yelp
Would've totally checked in here, had we not lost track of time enjoying the atmosphere and let our phones overheat in the sun!! Beautiful, spacious outside seating usually complimented by some kind of food truck....great if you catch the muchies after a few beers! Plenty of tables inside and out, and the last few times I've visited there has been a group taking advantage of the wonderful inside/outside space with some kind of private party (wedding shower, birthday party, etc). The beer I'm not head over heels for..mainly because I have one of those unusual palates that doesn't appreciate a hoppy beer, but I usually get a Kolsch or Oatmeal Stout(both are good options if you're weird like me) Another few notable things: -Seems to always be a very family friendly place, not sure if this is becoming a new thing but I'm seeing a lot more children and strollers than I'm used to for a brewery. -Parking is plentiful and simple...no worries or stresses about tickets and walking far. -For entertainment play a game of bags outside or sometimes catch a live band setting up...they've definitely got the space for it!
google avatar

Yvonne D.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite breweries in Milwaukee! Their service is always so great. They have a good range of beer selection so people with all preferences can enjoy. It has become a weekly tradition to go to their brewmaster toast for one dollar beers until the keg blows. It is always really great to see craft breweries making their beer affordable. They are also a part of deals in the area especially for brewery passes like pub pass, reel pass, and they are on Groupon. I am always the first to tell people to go to third space when they're looking for a brewery to go to in Milwaukee.
google avatar

Jenilee C.

Yelp
Love Third Space Brewing. They burst onto the local brewery scene and haven't looked back. They take their beer brewing serious and their involvement in the local community as well. They host a variety of events in their warehouse space, but the best is still just showing up on a weekend to hang out and have some good beer. They do have a space for bean bag toss and a spot where you can have a semi-private party. Last time we were there people had rented it for a surprise birthday party. This is just a personal preference, but wish so many people wouldn't bring small children to breweries. I know Third Space isn't the only place this happens. It's still a "bar" like atmosphere and it feels a little weird to have kids running around. I can't wait to get back here when the weather is better, as they have a bigger outdoor space in which you can relax. They also have had a food truck option parked outside every time I've gone, which only helps us stick around longer! Also love that they are distributing some cans, always excited to find them in stores or walk out with a six-pack or a growler. Their tour is worth doing once, as it is done by one of the owners, and you can tell how deeply invested they are. They look to make it your "third space" after your home and your job. So far, they've succeeded!

Yelp
Awesome selection of beers from sours and goses, to ambers, IPAs and Pale Ales, but no true dark beers. The outdoor patio space was cool too, with Cornhole (bags?) And all that.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Tasty brews in a casual, dog friendly atmosphere! So happy we got to try some Seinfeld beers with our pup in tow! Beautiful day and loved that they had shaded/umbrella tables!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We love Third Space! Fantastic beer (plus growlers and six packs to go), a welcoming and fun brewery, and a nice (dog-friendly) outdoor patio area. The service is good, and we always have a good time when we go. Bike racks outside, bags on the patio, occasional yoga classes (with wonderful instructors!), and often a food truck outside. Try Groupon for a deal on a flight of beer. Our favorite of the newer Milwaukee breweries!
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
I'm a fan of any brewery that has an outdoor patio and Third Space does not disappoint. The location is a bit off the beaten path but you can't miss it with it's side building paint job that points you in the right direction. The brews are solid - right up there with some of more mature craft breweries in the city. They have a full variety of styles and draft/can. I first tried them at a Brewers game in Miller Park which is why I ventured over to the home base to check them out. Indoor space is big and airy and outdoor benches with park games along with food truck delights are there for the enjoyment. It's tucked back away from the street so no distractions from passers by. The outdoor space resides between buildings with some graffiti on the walls so gives it an urban feel with a bit of grit. Like that! No pansies here. All in all, a solid newcomer on the scene - good job getting your IPA in Miller Park - was a great way to introduce me to something special. I'll be back even if the sun isn't shining.

Yelp
I visited Third Space Brewing today, 5/21/22. I visit craft breweries as a hobby and likely as a excuse to also visit nearby restaurants. Third Space is somewhat off the beaten path (or might be on a path that was beaten, beaten again like a dead horse, then zombified and beaten again until little remained). It might be fair to say that there was little traffic on the road when I arrived. Once I arrived I lucked out in finding parking in the lot close to the entrance. The establishment was busy and had a Peruvian food truck parked in its back lot next to the main entrance of the tap room. I got a flight including a variety of 4 including a schwarzbier, sour, wit and Pilsner. $15 for the flight. All were good; I tried to pick seasonal options over their year round brews. My favorite was probably the German Pilsner which had a very clean and solid hops profile that let you know it was a Pilsner. While drinking my flight I took advantage of the food truck and got a pork & sweet potato empanada that had a great paired sauce. I felt satisfied with both the beer and food available. Wi-Fi was solid even outside once connected. I got a free brewery sticker when I asked and the bartenders were friendly and efficient. They don't take cash at the bar in taproom. Generally good experience and I would return and recommend to others.

Yelp
Beers are interesting and we probably would have stayed for more than one round but the service left ALOT to be desired. First two people behind the counter didn't reach out when I approached...sat there drinking their beers. Third guy, who was cleaning for Covid around the space, was the one who approached and ask if I was waited on. The other two shrugged and kept drinking their beers behind the counter. That was annoying but the fact that the space only accepts credit cards AND they automatically added a gratuity to the order. All they did was turn to face the tap, pour a beer, and turned back to me....that is worth$2 without my permission? I questioned it and he quickly took it off but was offended when I asked for the receipt. Maybe a bad night, maybe not the right group of bartenders....don't know but there is no strong desire to return.

Yelp
Went to Hot Head Chicken/Crafty Cow for a Third Space beer dinner pairings. The food was awesome but I was definitely blown away by the beers. So many different varieties and types... all of which were great! One of the Third Space employees explained all of the beers and was very thorough and gave great descriptions. The brewery itself is one of my favorites in the city. Happy Place beer definitely makes you happy

Yelp
Great atmosphere! When pulling up you wouldn't know anyone is inside or what great warm and cozy space they have inside. The open layout and y'all ceilings make the space huge and accommodating. All staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable and will help you select the perfect beer that you're looking for! I loved my fruity request. The Cranberry Beer selection I tried (thx to the girl who helped me pick it) it was fruity as I asked; but not overdone! The added sour taste toned down the cranberry perfectly! Customer service...WONDERFUL-Great selection made by my recommendation which I was super pleased and happy about; it was just right and exactly what I was looking for when I asked for recommendations.

Yelp
I came to Third Space Brewing on a hopping (pun-intended) Friday night for a friend's birthday. Couple things stand out: - the food truck outside - the picnic tables outside - the lighting outside and inside - the very clean, multi-stalled bathrooms - the variety of beer I did not spend a huge amount of time here, and I cannot comment on the tour as we did not do it, but I'll definitely be checking it out again!

Yelp
A local writer recommended this brewery for me. I started with a flight. The beers were all pretty good, but nothing that blew me away initially. But the tour included two free beers, so I used one on something different. During the flight, my favorite was the upward spiral, which is their IPA. It's funny to think I never would drink an IPA even two years and now it's my go to during cold weather. So this place has a double hopped upward spiral. I tried it and I could not believe how good this beer was. It was drinkable like a pale ale but had the smoothness and boldness of a stout. I never drink stouts, but this was incredible. In fact, I used my second drink ticket on the same beer. The tour was very informative. I've been on a few brewery tours, so I'm pretty familiar with how beer is made. But what I really liked was the guide talked about the history of Milwaukee and he was able to discuss the intricacies of what made Third Space different from the many other breweries in Milwaukee. I found it interesting that the building had stayed empty for decades. In fact, it was an abandoned stamp factory before it became a brewery. I look forward to seeing Third Space grow. They have great beer and great people working for them. And let's get some more double hopped brew going. Cheers!

Yelp
They have a huge selection of beers so you're bound to find something delicious. The patio is a good space. Happy we got to sit outside because the inside had a bit of a smell to it. I get it - brewery. The smell didn't smell beer-related though. But, that being said, not enough to drive me away from trying it out again. Free parking and easy to get to from the interstate.

Yelp
Wow! I was super impressed with the beer that Third Space is coming up with. It really is a must try for anyone in the area for sure. I loved... -The beer (Happy Happy = Great IPA) -The outdoor patio area (Great for summer!) -Lots of seating inside for large groups of friends to gather -Private parking lot (Much welcome after dealing with Milwaukee Downtown parking for so long) -Friendly staff With that said... the door is slightly hard to find in the dark.

Yelp
Nice place for some chill time with friends - it's less busy Than I was expected. The beers are okay, not too impressed with it.

Yelp
Really liking this place so far! I was at Sobelmans this morning drinking a really good beer chaser with my Bloody Mary so I asked the waiter what beer it was- turns out it was from a new brewery just down the street. So right after we ate we headed over here. They have a nice large taproom and outdoor space complete with yard games. There's currently 4 beers on tap and I'm really loving the pale ale. The owners are serving up the beer and are ready to chat about their brewery. This place is located just past the Amtrak station and is also right off the bike path, so check it out!

Yelp
The gorgeous grey and lime color scheme is super noticeable from the street and directs people in the door around the back. The scheme carries over wonderfully inside - as a guy married to an interior designer, it's pretty easy to see they either knew exactly what they were doing or hired a company that did - this "Third Space" is awesome, back to front. It's my third time at Third Space, and every time, they've had food trucks outside which is excellent as they DO have a patio but DON'T serve food. The beer is pretty incredible which is why a middle-aged guy who was at City Lights previously taking notes on the beer in an actual notebook "followed me" over here, landing right when they opened, and presented them with a "Best New Brewery in Wisconsin" plaque from RateBeer. It all makes sense now... The only thing I don't like is that the tall, lacquered wood bar (that's devoid of stools) also lacks some sort of foot rest. Let me put a damn foot up!

Yelp
The beer is great so far! The Happy place is my favorite out of the 2 I've tried so far (upward spiral was the other one). There's a fairly large space inside their brewery/tasting room, and even more seating out on their large patio area. There's some games set up outside to enjoy with your beers too. Really liking the place!

Yelp
My son recommended that I had to check this place out if I was in Milwaukee. I'm glad I did. A very urban and industrial feel to both the outside and inside of the building. It is easy to drive by but once you drive into the parking lot, just follow the big arrow painted on the side of the building! As you drink fresh craft beer you can watch people filling kegs and trucks. Entertainment! Happy Happy DIPA was great!

Yelp
If you enjoy a cold atmospheres and a not so cozy experience inside a warehouse and brewing facility. This is the place for you. I was not impressed with the flight because nothing was labeled. I had no idea what I was drinking and really only enjoyed two of the five I was given. Not knowing very much about what they had I asked the bartender to make something up based on some of my favorite things about beer. My husband was able to bring two of his back and actually get two different ones but still had no idea what he was even given. I will probably never go back to this place ever again. There were also kids everywhere and this place seems to be the birthday party headquarters as one balloon parade left another one arrived

Yelp
Great beers? Check...Friendly Staff? Check....Bar games? Check! I mean this is a great place to grab a beer and enjoy a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Came in here to grab 1 drink, stayed for 3. Great place to hang with friends, play some games and drink some brew. The pizzas smelled good, but we did not have any. Guess I have another reason to come back here!
