9am on a Saturday - didn't have to wait, service was fast &friendly. Small place, EXCELLENT coffee! Ordered hot Van. Latte and hot Mocha - tasted great. Leans towards sweeter side - i could have prob gone half sweet and still enjoyed. Saw some Royal Flamingo & Roosevelt Coffee Roasters Beans for purchase. There is a Drive through!!

Google
This place is the best coffee shop on earth. I love Tim and the staff, the coffee hits and the vibes hit even harder! I would give 6 stars if possible!

Google
Third way is so cozy & cute. Would be a perfect spot to stop by to get some work done. Love the vibes of this space plus their coffee is so good! We got the strawberry cold foam cold brew and the lavender espresso tonic — flavors were well balanced and played off on each other perfectly.

Google
The interior definitely looks different from some of these older pics, but definitely still a great vibe. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the prices were reasonable, and I got some of the coolest looking latte art I've gotten in a really long time. Will definitely be back

Google
I love this place. The cat mural sold me before I walked in the door. Very friendly staff with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Coffee and pastry options are limited but interesting and excellent. I like a place that does a few things very well!

Google
This is hands-down my favorite local coffee shop! Their lattes are consistently smooth, flavorful & perfectly crafted. The vibe is always welcoming and the employees are so friendly. They are attentive and always greet you with a smile. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular, even if it's your first visit. Highly recommend!

Google
I enjoy spending early morning hours here. I’ve been hooked ever since I had their seasonal strawberry matcha. It’s such a pleasure to visit the quiet corners of this cafe and journal. It’s a nice addition to the neighborhood I was born and raised in. I love the hilltop and I hope places like this continue to show everyone how much good this area has to offer and how it’s deserving of their love as well!

Google
I like this place a lot! Their vibe is lovely-community, quality coffee, FRIENDLY. Their drinks are yummy hot or iced, they sometimes send coupons on Sundays, and latte art is always appreciated 👌🏻

Yelp
My first time coming here and I will definitely be back!! I never leave Yelp reviews but had to whip it out for this place. I was unsure of my order and the Barista recommended I get a Baklava latte and it did not dissapoint...best drink I've had in a long time. Also such a cool and cute vibe in general at this place. 5 stars all day long !! 100% will be back :,)

Emily K.

Yelp
We LOVE Third Way! Everyone is so nice and chill. They have a new seasonal menu every few months with some delicious choices. Breakfast breads and pastries are available from Bears Bagels, Three Bites Bakery, and other local shops. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Finally made it out to Third way! I decided to be adventurous and try their new summer menu and get the Churro Latte. 10/10! Not too sweet at all, and I've had my fair share of bad churro lattes. Glad I gave it one last go, but I guess I'll be back for more!

Yelp
We stopped in to cross off a coffee shop on the never ending list of places popping up. It's really cute, inside and out! The available outdoor seating was a nice perk. The staff is very warm and friendly, and they made small modifications with no issue. The coffees were deliciously balanced. We ordered two scones - one savory and one sweet. I wish they'd been baked a little longer, but they were still yummy. My only other negative is the seating. The chairs weren't very comfortable and gave me a little bit of pause, being someone a little over 200lbs. They seemed to have a nice group of regulars! We would love to go back.

Yelp
My friends came here years ago and I never had the chance to come by. I got up early one morning and perused the drive thru. Tiny place. They do have a walk up window and a few parking spots. They don't really have a way for you to place your order ahead of time. You do it at the same window where you pick up drinks so it's not exactly the most efficient...I felt bad for holding up the line lol I had already looked at the menu online though. So I was prepared to order right away at the window. I got the pistachio latte and they nailed the flavors! Delicious! Espresso was kinda light though but at least the syrup flavor was good. Staff was nice. I had a pretty short interaction with them at the window but no one seemed like they were in a rush. I'll be back sometime! Love the murals they've got on their walls!

Yelp
We came through on a very rainy day, and decided to just go to the drive through. They didn't have a menu to view online which was a bummer, and they didn't have any drink specials on the menu outside, so I just ordered a mocha and my fiance got a plain latte. I personally didn't like my drink, it was not sweet enough for my taste. My fiance said his coffee was just okay. The workers were very friendly, though, and we could see ourselves coming back to dine in.

Yelp
Good coffee, blueberry muffin was delicious, service was friendly, small place but good vibes

Yelp
I always love to venture out to places over the weekend. It make me feel accomplish and as a way to replenish from the work week. This week venture out to the west part of Columbus, into Third Way Coffee House. Standalone building with a mini drive thru lane attached. Chill vibe with the blast of upbeat tune surrounded the place. They do have decent amount of seating to hang out or get some work down. Doesn't a cup of Golden Rose Latte sound soothing. My mood instantly boost up when I see the additional of the lovely heart latte art with the rose petals line up.
google avatar

Adam L.

Yelp
Big fan of Third Way! They're a center of community and bring the vibes you want in the neighborhood! Their seasonal menu is nice and they have a rotating menus of single origin espresso that is my go-to order.
google avatar

Bella M.

Yelp
Finally tried Third Way for the first time and it did not disappoint! My friends got an iced vanilla chai, a hot churro latte, and I got an iced maple vanilla latte with maple cold foam. We were all obsessed with our own drinks as well as each others. The employees were kind, helpful, and fast! Although very cramped, it is a very cute and aesthetic little shop. I will be return VERY soon, and probably very frequently!

Yelp
This shop is on the Columbus coffee Trail and is located in the hilltop community. We live on the other side of Columbus so this is a long, long long way from our home. We walked in and noticed theybuse and/or carry a lot of our favorite roasters coffees. Good sign. (brioso, flamingo...) I was hoping to try a honey oat milk cappuccino, but they were out of honey. I get that happens, but I was super sad. I went to order a blueberry lemonade. They were out of that I went to order a drink... Guess what it uses, honey! I ended up getting hibiscus iced tea... I have two big boxes of this at home for this was just killing me. Ambience of the store is nice. A lot of hanging plants etc. However, it's newly renovated and has that nice freshness to it. Last year they were located across the street in an older building that was much larger, but not nearly as nice. So I think the move is a good thing for their company. Wish them luck and hope they get some more honey! Lol.

Yelp
Second stop in 10 year anniversary of Columbus Coffee Trail getting an Autumn Tonic which I didn't know what it was. It is actually espresso and tonic water with some spices I think . A different take on coffee that I can drink in two days and without any form of milk which is fine with me. This coffee oasis in a gentrified area of Hilltop has a pretty good following and vibe it seems. The old drive thru has been turned it a quick jo stop and drop. Plus on the service where they were happy to see the coffee trail app!
google avatar

Brian E.

Yelp
Great shop, lots of good things to choose from on their menu for drinks and baked goods. 4th stop on the Cbus Coffee Trail. Having the Autumn Tonic for the secret menu item. Refreshing beverage. This place is much larger inside than it looks when driving up. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Definitely a great vibe, we will return!

Yelp
I just moved to Franklinton and discovered this coffee shop driving down west broad..... a little San Diego on the West side! The murals are so great, the staff super friendly and the coffee was superb! I'm so lucky to have some pretty great coffee places near where I live. ***Looking forward to the parking lot gatherings & live music this summer!
google avatar

Yelp
Always a joy to stop in and try the newest seasonal bevy . So glad they're in the neighborhood

Yelp
I was able to check out this local coffee shop . And from the moment I walked into the door, I felt the love and the warmth of the cafe! The owner and the young lady were very friendly . They recommended that I try the sugar cookie iced coffee and it was phenomenal. We chatted for a while about coffee and just the day! I highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a chill place to grab some coffee and to be around some pretty dope people. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu! Thank you third way coffee! You have gained a new friend!
google avatar

Yelp
A nice cafe, located on West Broad. A nice selection of coffee and tea drinks, plus a good selection of pastries. Very friendly staff. I will be back!
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
Loved this place. It's in a bit of a rough area but i felt very safe. All the seating was taken up which means it's popular! The server was super nice and the coffee was delicious!! Lots of outdoor seating but i locked a chilly day. Definitely want to support this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Let me cut to the chase here; this is not only the best espresso in Columbus, but the best espresso I've had in the country. I take my coffee very seriously and the espresso and cortado I had this morning from Third Way blew my socks off. The quality of the shot, the presentation with the shot of sparkling water and the friendliness and knowledge of the barista instantly transported me back home to my favourite espresso bars in Sydney. 10/10 no notes, can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Lois N.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite coffee joint I've been to thus far. When I first arrived, I almost turned around because it was an incredibly small cafe and I was worried I wouldn't have space to stay and study. I'm glad I went in because it's a super cute place with surprisingly more seating than expected. The barista was very friendly and was patient with me as I figured what I wanted. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but they were out of matcha at the time so I asked for a recommendation from their seasonal drinks and I got the golden rose latte. It was super creamy, and I liked the addition of honey and the dried rose petals in the drink--I'm all about the aesthetic! It also wasn't a super loud place and everyone was working on their own things diligently. I would recommend, and I'd go again--if anything to try their blueberry matcha!

Yelp
This was the highest-rated establishment of any kind in the area I was in so I had to stop by. I have been to several coffee shops that are drive-through only, and due to this place's small size and parking lot, I mistakenly thought it was drive-through only. The outside of the building is covered in artwork, so this drive-through wasn't as dull as they usually are. There is no ordering speaker box or menu before the window, so you have to frantically decide your order at the window, where the menu is posted. When I pulled up, they immediately opened the window so I didn't get to see the writing on it to ask about their homemade scones. The person who helped me was very nice and had radiating energy that you could tell she loved her job. I ordered an iced rose latte, and it was fine. It tastes like a standard iced latte with pumps of syrup, with a very faint flavor. I probably would have had a better experience if I had gone inside and got to think about the menu and browse the pastries. I would support this business based on the employees but I wouldn't go out of my way for the lattes. I wouldn't avoid it either if it was in my passing.

Yelp
Amazing pistacio cake. Was even better a day or two later. Might be a bit pricey for some, but quality ingredients.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
What a cute local coffee shop. Lots of drink options from coffee, lattes, teas. Great matcha tea. Comfortable and casual vibe. Small outdoor tables and lots of indoor space to work or chill.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
Service was friendly and quick! The caramel latte was perfect, great flavor and crisp coffee face. I do wish they had some more food options (they did have muffins and cookies).
google avatar

Riley H.

Yelp
Third Way is delicious. Their espresso tastes high quality, coming from one barista to another (cafe, haha). My husband tried their sugar plum muffin, which is an earl grey muffin with berries, and I tried their chai muffin. Both were a lovely compliment to our drinks. Their oat milk lattes were lovely, and their syrups didn't taste artificial in the slightest.
google avatar

Yelp
Skipping Starbucks has never worked better for me. Third Way cafe is tucked away off Broad and is an easy stop for me to make in between appointments for work. This was my first time working in the cafe instead of stopping in and I've found the environment, as well as the people who stop in and barista, to be warm and inviting. Between the mission of giving back to the community, small book corner to purchase from, and the coffee that beats out the "typical columbus places " this may be my new favorite Friday tradition. Cinnamon Carmel Lattes are a must here.

Lee B.

Yelp
I've seen a lot of "third wave" pretenders out there; claiming to care about their craft but faltering. Third Way is NOT one of them. I had great craft brews from both the drip and the pour over. The staff was really personable and knowledgeable. We chatted a lot about their various coffees available to suit the different tastes of my group. And how can you not love a place with art like this? (See image)
google avatar

Gabrielle E.

Yelp
The menu was very limited and they were out of a few things. It was kind of a bummer that I couldn't get what I wanted the first visit I've ever been to this cafe. It had a nice vibe but we have to sit outside cause it was such a small cafe. The coffee was a little bitter. Like maybe the beans were pressed too hard before pulling shots. I would definitely go back. Very reasonably priced for what you get.
google avatar

Ralph H.

Yelp
Great staff. Enjoyable coffee. They even serve alcohol. This is a business that supports the neighborhood and serves quality product. If you like coffee, it is a must.

Yelp
I think I've fallen in love... with Third Way Café! This little coffee shop has been on my radar for a while, but it took me a hot minute to get there. The moment I stepped through the doors a giant smile spread across my face and I knew I was right where I needed to be. The café is somewhat small and it was packed full of people eager to start their weeks. I noticed folks playing board games, having business meetings, catching up with old friends, and simply stopping by for a cup of joe. After having a look around, I found a big table towards the back that was wide open. I grabbed a seat and got cozy. They had an outlet for my laptop, and I loved how I was almost completely surrounded by walls of books. All kinds of books too! I got lost for a minute browsing through them all. Once my friend arrived, I ordered some coffee drinks to get us caffeinated for the morning. My friend went with a simple drip coffee and I got a vanilla soy latte. Seriously one of the best lattes I've had in a while. I'm pretty sure I said this out loud at least 10 times. I don't typically go with flavors, but the vanilla wasn't too intense. I could drink one of these lattes every morning. I stayed for a few hours and got a lot of work done. The bathroom was clean and had Glenn Ave Soap (love!), the fellas working the café were great, and I easily found free parking on the street. I highly, highly recommend and will be back!

Yelp
This is a really nice space with lots of seating and light. The atmosphere was very friendly - I chatted a bit with other patrons while waiting for my coffee, and it seemed like people there all knew each other. The coffee was freshly brewed, very smooth and reasonably priced. It's not a part of town that I usually visit, but it's good to know that there's a nice spot with outside picnic tables to stop at if I need it.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! First: Vinyl. Yes. Second: BOOKS!!!!! Third: Fantastic coffee (yep. This from a coffee snob). Fourth: Wonderful local resources. Fifth: A variety of seating, from tables and chairs (GAME!) to couch and softer seating. Sixth: Delightful barista... Seriously, this is a GEM that any coffee lover (and coffee shop lover) needs to visit, when in Columbus. We'll be back!
google avatar

Timothy ..

Yelp
Really not great tasting. It's drinkable but doesn't really hit the spot. I would compare it to Starbucks. I ended up dumping my cold brew out & going to another cafe
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
New layout since our last time here. LOVE the maple cinnamon cortado. There's a meeting room in the back for use.

Yelp
What an adorable spot in an under-serviced area. I found Third Way while doing the Columbus coffee passport thing. This isn't too far from where my mom lives, so I've stopped here a few times. It's really nice to see businesses in the area that provide a valuable service to the community. There's WiFi, comfortable seating, books galore, good drinks, games, and is all around a good place to hang out. The coffee is good, the people are nice, but the best part is most definitely the books. Do you like old books as much as I do? Well then, you'll be in heaven here. They acquired books from Acorn Books (gone too soon, RIP) when they closed so they have shelves of old used books. I've gotten a few that have beautiful hand written notes inside them. I've found old copies of classics, books that were considered influential but have kind of been forgotten, and books I've never heard of that ended up being really engaging. Do yourself a favor and go check this cafe out and grab a beautiful book or two (or five)!
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
Ordered iced caramel latte with oat milk and it was very refreshing. You could taste the caramel but not overly sweet. The lady at the counter was very nice. Parking was a little tight and I didn't see the wall of books represented in the photos but the coffee was delicious. They also have water cups available as self serve.
google avatar

Yelp
While I don't live in Westgate, I don't live far, and know people who do live there. I heard about this new cafe from a resident and agree it is a fabulous addition to the area. It's right on a corner along with an antique shop and pottery shop. I took a break shopping the other day, and stopped in to check it out. It's a great space, and actually larger than expected. There is plenty of seating, and tables. They offer a huge book selection, and video games. Katie helped me choose from the coffees, and I couldn't resist a coconut cupcake. I suggested adding almond milk to the coffee bar, and she liked my suggestion. I sat in the adjoining room with tables arranged together and chairs around them. I even visited the cute ladies' room. I like it. Good refreshments and it's cozy. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
Third Way is one of the highest rated coffee shops in Columbus... Rightfully so. Third Way isn't gonna wow you with impressive interior design or an extensively large menu. You aren't gonna feel boujee just for ordering a drip coffee here... I think that's why it's rated so high. Third Way has culture. The instant you step into this coffee shop, you will understand. The slightly cluttered little shop is packed with people. Bible studies, friends chatting, people working on their laptop... all there for one reason: the cozy feeling of sitting within Third Way's bookshelf-lined walls. Oh, not to mention, their coffee is stellar. As mentioned before, their coffee menu is small. They do what they do. And they do it well. On top of this, their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. Maybe the cheapest cup of coffee in Columbus? Couple that with some timeless culture and the simple fact that the coffee is GOOD... You have a 5 star coffee shop. Bravo, Third Way!

Yelp
Couldn't believe I have lived in this area for over five years and this is my first time to find out this place. Loved the latte here and really nice service.

Virginia H.

Yelp
We love thirdway! They have lots of options for drinks and pastries. The sevice is quick, and workers are extremely friendly! The building is super cool, and is decorated with the work of local artists! Not to mention that dogs are welcomed!! If you are looking for a cafe that caters to the community, and provides a warm atmosphere, this is the place :)
google avatar

Casey G.

Yelp
Many of my associates go to Third Way before work everyday. I finally had a chance to try it for myself one morning. It is a cute space off of Broad on the West side of town. It is on the corner with glass windows to let in a lot of light. There is street parking nearby. When you walk in there is some neat art and tables to sit at. They have books for purchase. They offer hot and cold drinks, and a few muffins. I got the chai latte, it was really good. I can see why my co-workers visit Third Way everyday.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
What an awesome place with even more awesome staff. I was here for the first time for a community event they hosted and have been back twice since. I wish I could go more often because it's in my top 2 favorites on this side of town. Definitely worth the trip if you're looking for a new place.
google avatar

Lauryn K.

Yelp
Local favorite for coffee and a great conversation. Staff is always friendly and chill, music and artistic atmosphere sets for a great place to relax or work from. Coffee is spot on, prices aren't too high and they give back to the community in great ways.
google avatar

Abby K.

Yelp
First time coming here and had a great experience. Within 5 minutes of being in cafe I knew I would be coming back. Great seating options (both big and small tables), staff is very friendly, have der Dutchman food, and lots of books to read. I got a chocolate muffin and a cold brew. Both were amazing. I really liked the cold brew, probably one of the smoothest cold brews I've had in a while.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
This place was so cute! I'm so glad we tried it out. You walk in and are greeted by friendly staff. The menu is simple but diverse and I loved the overall aroma when you walk in. The mix of books and coffee with a few pastry selections. The coffee was amazing and fair prices. I was really surprised. You walk back into the shop and you feel like you're in your own little world surrounded by books and novelties. It's small but quaint and nicely set up. Make sure you stop for a cup of coffee if you're in town. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Third Way Cafe is so cool and a place you need to check out! They've intentionally placed themselves to have a positive influence on the Hilltop and Columbus in general. They generally care about the community and city and it's super fun to talk to them about their passion and vision. The coffee they serve is mostly from The Roosevelt and they also sell beans from all the big players in town. Walking in they have a wide variety of comfortable seating, local art, and lots of great books. They have a record player and they even have live music on certain nights! They also work with Coffee Crafters to intentionally employ and work with men who have been incarcerated to help them transition back to society. How can you not get on board with that mission?! So make a venture, take a trip, explore something off the beaten path. You'll be glad you did.
google avatar

Roza M.

Yelp
I've been meaning to check this place out for a while now, and I'm so glad I finally made it! Kind of an unexpected business in the area, but I'm so glad they're servicing the local community. They have a mission to actually help the surrounding people, which is amazing. The shop itself is very comfortable and homey, with a lot of different seating options and shelves lined with books. There's board games and even a piano. I got an iced chai latte, which are unfortunately so hard to get right for so many coffee shops, but it was really good here! Not overly sweet and not overly mild. The barista working was so friendly and chatted with us when we were the only customers in the shop, explaining their mission and what else they're doing. Overall a really nice spot and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
MISSION AND CULTURE RULE! When Third Way opened, I was living on the far side of town and now I'm in Westgate only a few blocks away and in walking distance. A. The Mission... COPIED FROM THEIR WEBSITE IS WHY I'M SO VOCAL, SO EXCITED, SO UPBEAT AND POSITIVE AND THIRD WAY CAFE.... Third Way Café opened in December 2017 in the Greater Hilltop area. Our goal is to bring people together from all walks of life to discuss all of the different areas of social challenges. We are here to support the communities around us. We want to be a place where people can come together, where people can have a home away from home. Drink coffee, read a book, relax and be surrounded by people who care about the common good of all. -------- COFFEE BOOKS COMMUNITY There's not much more that grabs me than realizing society and those of us breathing this air benefits from commitments to Social Entrepreneurship.

Yelp
I love the chill vibe of this place! Today my husband and I got a gingerbread latte and they were delicious! The regular gingerbread latte isn't as sweet and can be a bit spicy bc of the cinnamon but if you like your sweeter like meeeee then have them add white chocolate it's bomb! Iight
