The place is cool, it has a fun vibe. The beer is good. Love that it's pet friendly. The food could use some help. We sent back pizza that looked old, apparently from sitting under a heat lamp. The charcuterie board was okay but could easily be much better. The chicken curry sandwich was tasty but fell apart. We'd go back for a drink but not to eat

Google
Great Vibe, Solid Brews, Always Something Happening Thirsty Street Brewing is one of those chill spots that feels like your go-to hangout. The industrial-style taproom is super welcoming, and the patio’s perfect when the sun’s out. Their beer lineup covers everything—from smooth ales to funky sours and even gluten-reduced options. Service is friendly, and there’s usually something going on—trivia, live music, ping pong, you name it. Just know the beer quality can vary a bit, and food’s more of a snack situation than a full meal. But you MUST HAVE a pretzel with cheese, easily shareable.

Google
Absolutely love this brewery. Great family and fun atmosphere. Incredibly creative brew and the best sours in several states. Awesome food options and fun events. I’ve been tasting Shea’s creations since they opened years ago. Can’t wait to go back!!

Google
Thirsty Street nails it every time—unique drinks, amazing food, and a vibe that’s both laid-back and family friendly. Whether I’m enjoying their beautiful patio, petting pups, or just soaking in the atmosphere, I always leave feeling full, relaxed, and grateful. Their support for our local community is phenomenal, and honestly, Billings is lucky to have a spot like this. Cheers to great people doing great things!

Google
Had the absolute best service here. The beertender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. I love the selection of brews on tap and there were so many yummy ones. I bought some off-sale to share with others who will enjoy them as well. Loved the vibes and everything there as well! Will definitely be back!!

Google
Bartender was very friendly. She gave us several tasters before we made our selections. I had the Skela Double and he had the Sack Lunch PB&J Stout. Both great and this place has a cool set-up both outdoors and inside (stage for live music too).

Google
Love this place. Great beer, staff, music, darts, patio ... basically everything! I personally always go with Staycation (their IPA) but really all their beers are great and have won multiple awards around the nation. If you are ever passing it by or considering going just do, you wont be disappointed.

Google
Best beer selection and tastefulness in Billings. Mandie is a very knowledgeable and professionally thoughtful bartender that does a great job of managing customers and conversations as well as the workload of the bar. A great multitasker. Mandie has great customer relations that make drinking at Thirsty Street Brewing Co. well worth the stop.

Yelp
Very kind staff!!! Crowler canning machine and happy to can anything on tap! (I got 7-they offered me a drink while I waited) They have a great flagship selection and most of their seasonal when I went were sours which are my favorite!!! (Also why I took 7) Plenty of table seating for a happy hour crowd. It appears there is also a mug club!
google avatar

Yelp
I love atmosphere. Friendly fast service. Many times i visit they have live music. My go to place for sours.
google avatar

Yelp
Steve and I really enjoyed the sour beer we had from Thirsty Street Brewing! The name of the sour that we had was Lemon Drop. This really refreshing and well balanced sour was so good! Not too sweet at all unlike some sours I have stumbled across in the past. Flavors like lemon, citrus, sourness and a crisp finish will blossom upon your tongue when you take a sip. The beer is very light bodied and easy to drink which is easily an extra plus for us!

Yelp
Service was good and the beer was decent--some better than others. This place is either 3 or 4 stars. What i didn't like was that a live band was setting up inside and i saw a bucket of ear plugs on the bar. the sound check got loud, so if live music is your jam, this place is probably a 4 for you. (not for me!)

Yelp
This is brewery #195 for me. I'm rapidly closing in on 200. Who do you know who has visited that many individual breweries? No one? That's what I thought... Thirsty Street is right next door to Angry Hanks so I can see a lot of spillover on busy nights. Having two breweries right next to each other is cool. TS is in an old brick building and had a laid back vibe. No real food here but they do have soft pretzels, nachos, beef jerky, etc. There is plenty of seating, which is good since they have about 20 beers on tap. I went with four starting with the Rimrock'd amber ale in honor of SWPFTD who could not be with me on this trip. I came through Billings with my family on vacation last year about this time and being here without them put me in a bit of a melancholy mood. Hopefully these beers will cheer me up! The amber was a nice amber color of course with great caramel flavors. Yes, SWPFTD would like this one. Next up was Hopster Doofus which I really ordered just because of the name. Yes I enjoy hazy IPA's but the name got a chuckle out of me. Very fruity on the nose with a consistent hop bitterness that lingered on my tongue. The Vanilla Mazevo vanilla latte stout on nitro was next. And that was a mouthful. Not just the beer I mean, but the label. I had no idea what "Mazevo" was but apparently it is a local coffee company. I definitely got coffee from this but vanilla was a little harder to find. I was kind of like that gif of John Travolta wandering around looking confused in Pulp Fiction. This was still a good beer...wait, you know on about my fourth taste as I'm still typing this I found the vanilla. That just shows you I do my reviews live. Last for today is Big Bison Stout. I appreciate that they use the term bison instead of buffalo. Roasty, chocolatey and just what I expect from a stout. Tasty all around. Just a good lip smacking stout. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you!

Yelp
Great location with a rustic yet modern feel on the inside. The staff are well informed and polite. They have the perfect balance of being attentive while respecting your experience. Great beer selection with a dog friendly outdoor area. The pretzel wasn't the best. But who goes to a brewery for the pretzel anyway ;)

Yelp
Was nearby (in Billings, MT) and decided to stop by Thirsty Street. Glad I did! I had some great tastings of their beers (Gutsy liked several). Really liked Trail Junkie, Good Times, the fabulous Mountain Margarita (rude Gusty), and Lemon Drop. They rotate different beers in. They also have a "mug club" if you are local. A husband and wife team own and have been operating for over 7 years. Jerry served me and made sure I had all I needed. If you are nearby, give it a try. Enjoy!

Yelp
WOW. What an improvement over where this place started when it opened! I am from Billings, but only make it back once or twice a year. Have always loved the breweries there, and Hanks is a sentimental favorite, so we dropped in TS after a quick stop next door. Not only was the tap list expansive, but they have some really adventurous items with their sours and krieks. All the beers we tried were really good, and I love the creativity. I'd always held this place as subpar from my first trip there when they had the old extract system (I think), but they went from worst to first. Will for sure be back. Also, LOVED the shuffleboard table. Great addition!

Yelp
Great brewery near downtown Billings. Walkable to restaurants and there is another brewery next store. Huge windows let natural light into the place. Windows face the street so you can watch people or cars go by. Huge space too. Plenty of space for a large group. The side room also has table shuffle board. Plenty of beer options, especially their seasonal selections. There is a small parking lot, but still plenty of street parking near by. This place is only a brewery with light snacks available for purchase. Week days can be quiet, so could be a good place to work for an hour or so. Overall great space, location, and most importantly beer.

Yelp
Excellent beer, good people, friendly atmosphere. Lots of good music, local events, indoor and seasonal outdoor seating. Has lots of free games like darts and giant jenga. If your in Billings definitely stop in.

Alex B.

Yelp
Some of the best beer in Montana. Hopster Doofus is probably my favorite beer that I have ever had. I love all the local music and travelling music they bring in. One of my favorite spots in Billings, hands down.

Yelp
What a treat during my Billings visit. Excellent beers all across. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Great selection of beer and ciders. Good snacks. Awesome people! Nice and chill on a Sunday afternoon!

Sean K.

Yelp
I love this place!! they have great beer! great atmosphere! The owners are the coolest people. some really cool artists playing on the weekends if you're looking for a show.

Nick P.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming here. I especially enjoy trivial night on Wednesdays even though I'm terrible. But it's always a good crowd and the staff is amazing

Adam G.

Yelp
Great beer and cool vibe at the bar. Perfect place to hang out, have a drink, and have fun with friends.

Yelp
Hey, you like beer you say, and you like real craft beer? Then you need to stop in and chat it up with the bartender from Bend while trying out some of the really (really!) good brews. Food selections are very limited (Very) but hey, you're not here for the food, you're here for the beer! The dubble was superb! And the prices (shhhh!), are very good. Next time you're in the area, stop in, and try some of their many tasty brews.

Yelp
Thirsty Street Brewing is a great space featuring a variety of awesome beer ranging from a few exotic sours to more everyday brews. I especially enjoyed the peach sour, which includes a roasted malt that imparts a coffee aroma to the tart, full-bodied brew, and also enjoyed a gin barrel-aged sour and a stout. I would definitely come back and try all of their other stuff. Not exactly a place for a full meal, but they do have snacks. Had a nice chat with the bartender and was talking with him for quite awhile until I was accosted by a guy I'm pretty sure was either a reincarnation, or astral projection, one, of Ronald Reagan hisself. We had an interesting chat about agriculture and commodities markets until the conversation turned to the virtues of our President and the purity of American meritocracy, in which rich people like him create value but the dirty poors do not. Relatively sober and hungry for a real meal at that point, I didn't have it in me to deck him, but I decided I'd rather brave the torrential rain and took my leave at that point. Not even the rain, nor the imposed ruminations on the impending collapse of American economy or social fabric could dampen the quality of my experience.

Yelp
Another brewery in Billings used to be our favorite, but Thirsty Street has definitely taken over. The bar staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, the beers rotate frequently enough that there is always something new to try. And they have sours for my wife and dark beers for me. Plus the atmosphere is chill and fairly quiet, without screaming kids or loud college kids. We love this place.

Yelp
I've never been here, but I want to shoutout their customer service. I called to see if I could order a gift card for my friend that's moving out there, and they were so kind and helped me get it done. Even offered to mail it and everything. Someday I'll go visit her, and I hope to stop here and have a beer! Cheers

Yelp
This 6 month old brewery is coming for the older breweries in town! It's got all your standard things like a wide variety of delicious home brews, t-shirts and growlers with their logo, fenced in outdoor seating with strings of lights, kitschy names for their home brews etc. But what sets this brewery apart from the others I've been to in Billings so far are a number of things: They want your business! Obviously, they haven't been around as long so you'll be greeted warmly as soon as someone behind the bar sees you. It's not as cave-like: with high ceilings, big windows (letting in lots of light) and an open floor plan, you won't feel as claustrophobic here as you would in other places in town. The decor is simple but classy. Some color pops from the signage (handwritten in colored chalk) on the walls. Some local photographer's art (for sale) decorates the walls. A live music schedule on the wall (when we came a young gentlemen was strumming his guitar and singing). And they've got a side game room for people who get anxious just sitting and drinking beer: complete with shuffleboard, pool, darts, and a big screen TV. Looks like they've got some really good happy hour specials from 3-5 Monday-Friday! We didn't have the pleasure as we just stopped by for a growler, but we'll be back soon! *Bonus: Noodles O'Brien food truck sets up right outside from 5-8 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Yelp
Thirsty street how do I love thee Belgian brews, let me count the ways... Dark Belgian beer be still my heart--Dubbel Trubbel is as sweet as a setting sun on a hot day, like a quenching thirst only given way by a cool taste of Carmelly, yummy, smooth delicious glass of beer. Okay my Ode to Dark Belgian sonnet is done. It just wasn't very good. I love this location. I like the vibe here and the decor. Shuffleboard table is awesome. Patio looks inviting. Beers on tap are awesome and love love love the variety, including several Belgians. The only thing better would be parking lot full of food trucks!!

Yelp
Was in town for one night, dropped in for a one of a kind beer and found just that. This is the epicenter of Billings sour ales, I'm not a sour ale kind of guy but I tried one and....if I was to become a sour drinker this place would be the connection. I tried a hot pepper IPA, and a Hazy IPA both were unique and one I would have again. My co-worker and I were served by Rachel, and she was not only taking care of a pretty full place, but performed as a brand ambassador. Hope to be back soon

Jacob P.

Yelp
Awesome experience. I'm a Mississippian traveling across the west and popping into places like this. Best bartender, great drinks and conversation.

Yelp
There are only a few breweries in town but this one is definitely one of my favorites. It's a super casual atmosphere, plenty of seating, snacks (soft pretzels and meat sticks), and obviously good beer! They have a good variety of their brews on tap, something for everyone. And they also serve wine if beer isn't your thing. Prices are super cheap for this former Denver girl, and who doesn't love saving money! None of their beers are huge standouts for me, but I have enjoyed all the ones I've tried (of the darker varieties). I'll keep coming here for the convenient location and easy going vibe.

Yelp
The beer was great and the staff was very friendly. Dog friendly!!! 18 beers on tap. Live music. Sausages, pretzels, nachos to snack on.
google avatar

Kelley B.

Yelp
My favorite brewery in Billings so many great beers to try! Great vibe all around and try the sours, sooo good!!
google avatar

Brandon O.

Yelp
Beer rotation is always great, and one of the few breweries in town that does dark beer right. The Big Bison Stout is phenomenal, and one of my favorite beers of all time. Please don't ever take it off the menu. The space is pretty quiet, and has plenty of space to sit. Back room also has a pool table and darts.
google avatar

Jeb B.

Yelp
Great craft beers in Billings! Very good atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating. $4 pints regular price! Also, you can get a flight of 4 three ounce glasses to try several beers. Flights are also $4.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Great beer in a nice setting. I like that you can choose smaller pours if a whole pint isn't your thing. I take advantage of trying as many of their beers as possible. A friendly staff and (oddly) one of the only breweries in Billings that accepts cards and not just cash.

Ben B.

Yelp
Has some good beer. Has some decent beer. Good atmosphere. Allows well behaved dogs which is a plus for any dog lover!
google avatar

Jim U.

Yelp
Last stop on our micro brewery tour today. Second place next to Carters. Well done beers specializing in sours. Sours are not my thing but I can say the porter is excellent. Friendly service and not overly loud or crowded. Go here BEFORE Angry Hanks.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
We did the Billings Brewery Hop and found a beer or six we loved from every brewery... except this one. The atmosphere wasn't bad but the beer wasn't great.
google avatar

FoodieAtHeart P.

Yelp
Delish! This is different than on marked tourism maps. Great sours and Belgians, which is a plus for us!
google avatar

Russ H.

Yelp
Always a favorite atmosphere for my wife and I. We really love the interior restoration of the old building; it just feels comfortable. The Belgian beers are unique to my taste experiences. The Belgian Saison is probably my favorite when on tap. I had never tasted a Saison until I discovered one in Ontario (Canada) earlier this year. It was a wining discovery then, and it is so nice find a very close match here in Billings!

Michael S.

Yelp
Great brews, especially the Rimrock Amber Ale. So very good. Friendly environment and had a fun time at a fundraiser. If you're looking for great local brews, this is your place. There are some bar games too, like shuffleboard and is a good place to meet with friends.
google avatar

Matt T.

Yelp
Had friendly service...they have flights available. I thought their malty styles and Belgians were above average...nice representations on each style....the brewer needs to be a bit bolder in his hoppy styles...overall a good time and I would go back again.
google avatar

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the beer I had here. Wish they had a better/more private patio. Or maybe even just adding more tables would be beneficial.
google avatar

Scot E.

Yelp
Great home brews. The location is awesome and accessible to other brew pubs, restaurants & shopping in the downtown district of Billings. The atmosphere is phenomenal and authentic to the rich history of Billings. They have a shuffle board, pool table and dart board for added fun. You can also watch your favorite team on their flag screen TV's. Also food is available on a limited scale. Definitely worth coming back for more or better yet as a regular hang out with all your friends.

Megan W.

Yelp
Amazing new spot in downtown Billings! The patio seating is great for when the weather is nice, but there is plenty of room to sit inside as well and even a game room to enjoy with family and friends! All the beers are great, service is fantastic and brewers Jill and Shea are so friendly. Definitely worth a happy hour visit and more!
google avatar

Jeff O.

Yelp
Our bartender offered recommendations, the atmosphere was really cool, we loved the overall feel. We were extremely satisfied. The location is also pretty great, and the space is comfortably large an not crowded.
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice. Stout was pretty good. Kid pouring could work to be a bit more polite

Beth B.

Yelp
This is the most amazing place! My husband and I were tired after a day of traveling and came upon thirsty street, thank goodness!!! Maybe it was the waitstaff, the atmosphere or the much needed beer, it absolutely hit the spot!!! Beers are amazing!! Atmosphere revitalized the soul!!! Thank you thirsty street!!
