"The second outpost by the North Park-based brewers, Thorn Brewing has been crafting some of its best suds at their Barrio Logan outpost since opening up production at the space in 2017. The modern tasting room features a large opening into the street and seating along production and fermentation tanks. Very open and relaxed, the bartender helped me with the beer selection, and she was really nice! Clean bathrooms and the open atmosphere really helped me feel I wasn't stuffed into a box like other breweries. Also, the tacos were crazy good and tasted like the ones in TJ. Go say hi!

Such a great place. Wonderful beers (I recommend the Hopster Pot) and awesome staff and patrons. Would come again if i didn't live on the other side of the planet.

Came here on a day off to catch the women's world cup. They opened early for the game (normally open at 2, but today it was at noon). Bartender Morgan was super knowledgeable! I got to sample one or two beers suggested to me before I settled on the pina colada sour. They have a few snacks, mostly chips and beef jerky, available. They also have some hummus and crackers from a local restaurant. You're also more than welcome to bring your own food in. It was fun to watch the beer production going on behind us while you're enjoying a few beers! I would definitely come back, except next time I would take an Uber lol

Great service, polite and friendly. Helpful and informative with the beer rotation on tap. Chill laid back vibes, beer selection was pretty decent. Plenty of space and seating for large and small groups. Not directly from the area but, will definitely continue to make the trek out here.

Stumbled across this place while heading from Attitude Brewing to Mission Brewing and we weren't disappointed. Great building, great beers, great staff! Just a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Good place to jump on the bandwagon of "ethnically infused" artisanal beermaking. Thorn Brewery makes mediocre "spicy" and "chocolate flavored" beer - this front then helps them sell unique IPA's and pale ales to local gentrifiers. Dont believe me? Check out the last names and skin color of most of their other reviewers.
