Speechless! This is something you truly have to see to believe. The sheer amount of effort, architectural magnificence, engineering, and interior design that went into creating this real-life castle is extraordinary — it genuinely feels like stepping back in time. The selection of antiques, the intricate plasterwork, and every fixture have been chosen with incredible care. And the surrounding landscaping, with its magnificent old trees, completes the scene perfectly. Just wow.

This place is simply magical. The grounds & location are perfect and the actual castle and its rooms/fitouts are out of this world. You can tell this stunning Castle is a labour of love & truly one of a kind. Ken & Nydia's customer service was second to none & we truly felt like royalty during our stay. We will most certainly be back to try the other rooms. A truly special spot. Food (breakfast & afternoon tea) = amazing Rooms, furniture & antiques = impeccably clean & like something out of a fairytale Service = well worthy of all the accolades Thorngrove has received. Thank you Ken & Nydia!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating our 10th anniversary at Thorngrove Manor. The detail and care of this place makes you feel like you’re living in a real fairytale. We stayed in the Tower room, the spiral stairwell and cosy yet royal feel was everything we wanted to relax. We’re so grateful.

Thorngrove is a sublimely aesthetic and enjoyable fairytale experience and a passionate love letter, impeccably and intentionally envisaged and designed down to every last detail. The manor and its furnishings are gorgeous, and as the only guests staying, you will be treated like royalty by Ken and Nydia; attentive and non-intrusive. A one of a kind stay, worth every penny.

Words can't describe this place. Nothing short of amazing. Ken is a legend. Luxury at it's best. Beautiful gardens, great collection of antiques and luxurious dwellings. You must visit this place!

I cannot express how unbelievably amazing this place is — the place of my dreams 🏰✨ Feels like you’re in a peaceful, magical town in Europe. My partner and I flew in Adelaide from Sydney just to stay here. He also proposed to me here and I wouldn’t have it in any other way. Kenneth and his wife are both so kind, accommodating, and passionate about their work and the whole place 🤍 their passion is clearly reflected in the interior and exterior of the whole facade. Would definitely be back 💯 I’m giving it an 11/10 if I can! ⭐️ Thank you for making our stay out of this world and for being so sweet. You guys have made our trip extra special with all that you have offered and the service that you’ve shown. I think everyone should stay here at least once in their lifetime, such a magical place 🥹
