I often walk by the patio when I park in the Nordic ramp but never have stopped in until now. Even though I came back close to the time the kitchen took last orders, the waitress was friendly and was not rushed for us to order, eat, and leave. She was patient and took time to talk about menu recommendations and give time to decide what we wanted. The patio seating was pleasant; only two other tables occupied at that time. Could see people playing bags in the common area, which was fun dinner entertainment. Here’s the meal breakdown: - Watermelon Quinoa Salad — excellent salad! Usually would have passed over the salad but our waitress highly recommended it and I’m glad we ordered it! Hearty salad with quinoa, kale, sunflower seeds, feta cheese. Sweet and juicy watermelon is a perfect compliment! Delicious summer salad! - Burger — Great smash burger! The burger was covered in gooey cheese and topped with house made pickles. Nice crunch with the softness of the meat, cheese, and buttery bun! - Goat Cheese & Mushroom Pizza was okay. The flavor of the dough was good; it’s just that one side was thicker and was not as cooked through as the other side, so it looked and tasted doughy. Although, the more cooked side had a nice herby crust edge and the toppings were excellent together. Overall would rate 4.5. The food is good and will return again with friends to try more! Thank you for a great dinner!

This place is very nice! The food is good, they have indoor golf, the drinks were nice and as was the staff! We tried it for restaurant week but will definitely return!

Google
Enjoyed our visit to the restaurant - no golf simulator review. Service was great, sat on their shaded patio. Always wondered about the food as the primary emphasis is on the golf and what looks like a nice bar. Smash burger and fries. The kimchi fried rice was well seasoned. Looked like a good brunch menu as well.

Google
Sweet place to hangout and grab drinks. Got an opportunity to do virtual golf in four of their bays. We had two servers dedicated to our area and they were very helpful at grabbing drinks and clearing dishes. We had a light buffet for lunch but the food was overall good. The avocado bruschetta was my favorite out of the salad, nachos and roasted cauliflower. The ambiance and vibe was very chill and relax. You can park in the ramp located above this location but note that parking is not comped.

Google
Beautiful building. My waitress (Abigail) was amazing! We had a big group and everyone came at different times. There were some who kept playing musical chairs and (by experience) I know how hard it was to kept track of everyone, especially when everyone is paying their own tabs. She was great!!! Food was good. I didn't like the Ice cream cookie dessert. There was wayyy too much sprinkles and the cookies was too thick and hard. Not fresh and soft. However, the rest of the food was good.

Google
Great food for some late breakfast fare. We had a burrito which was very filling. Also, the best hash browns around. The very best part is the breakfast nachos. The place is very comfortable and the parking is attached to the building and easy access.

Google
Love Thr3jack! The food, drinks, & ambiance are great! I have held private events here and gone with just a couple friends and love it every time. Also love the golf/bar/restaurant combo which is very unique to anything else in the area! The owner, Lucy, is the kindest ever and is always willing to go above and beyond. As are all the staff.

Google
I took my partner here for his 30th birthday because I won a silent auction at an old workplace. While the 3rd party the voucher was initially purchased through was a mess, Thr3 Jack was absolutely wonderful to work with. Management was responsive, helpful, and more than accomodating. They let us bring in presents and even a little cake from a licensed bakery. Megan was our server and she was awesome; very attentive and when we were done with our time in the private golf room, she helped us transition smoothly into the dining room so we could eat our entrees and enjoy the U.S. Women's National Team game that was on. The drinks were delicious and the food was oustanding! At the end, Megan even offered my partner a choice between a bucket of cookies or a free shot for his special day. Everyone here really helped me make it the best day ever for him and I am so grateful! I would recommend Thr3 Jack to anyone looking to have a great time in a great place with great food!

Yelp
Don't go unless you want to sit at the bar. Interesting happy hour menu. Avocado bruschetta was absolutely awful. Light beer was alright Check out my instagram for pics @ellie.mca.dams

Yelp
I've been here a couple times. I've used the golf simulator twice and I've come for food 2-3 different times. The service is always pretty great. Both the inside and outside our great spots to enjoy your food/drink!

Yelp
I stopped into Thr3 Jack for lunch with some co-workers and it was not great. We were prompted to sit anywhere we'd like and we chose the outdoor patio. We noticed there were about 3 other tables seated in the entire restaurant, which was a little odd considering the neighboring restaurants were packed. Well, we now know why. I split the Thr3 Jack Burger and Roasted Cauliflower with a co-worker and both were good. One of my co-workers ordered the Smoked Chicken Nachos and they were terrible. The chips were SO greasy, the melted cheese was globbed together, and the chicken didn't taste smokey at all. Also, the waitress was very attentive with water for our group which was great, but went MIA after our food arrived. We had to flag her down to get the bill -- Mind you, the restaurant was not busy. We were there mid-week for a quick-ish lunch and it ended up being about 1.5 hours -- not ideal because we had to get back to work. Also, when it came time for the bill, she didn't bother to ask if we wanted the bill split or have it all on one -- so more wasted time. Overall, the food is very sub-par so it wasn't surprising they weren't busy for lunch. I won't be back for food.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and dinner and were delightfully surprised at how delicious it was! We didn't do the golf simulator, but we loved the upscale and moody vibe of this place - plus it's in the heart of NoLo, so the perfect spot to start the night. My friend and I split the Margarita pitcher for $35 on HH, which got us each about 2.5 drinks. Not a bad price compared to drink prices at other NoLo restaurants, but I'd say it's too pricey not on HH. These were really fresh and light margaritas, not syrupy and mixy which I appreciated. A friend and I split the whipped Goat Cheese pizza and were surprised that it was one of the best pizzas we've had in the area! The flavors were fantastic and the crust was perfectly done. We were expecting more bar-food, so this was a pleasant surprise! Definitely would come back here for HH and eats before a night out.

Yelp
I made a reservation for Thr3 Jack for a Saturday evening. This area does not offer a wide array of parking options and we did spend lots of time looking for a parking space before our meal. In hindsight, the reservation was unnecessary as Thr3 Jack was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. We were promptly seated at a booth and ordered drinks. We chose to share the nachos which were really delicious and filling. For my main I ordered the caesar salad which was great, the perfect amount of dressing and parmesan. In addition to a large restaurant, Thr3 Jack offers simulated golf. This was not something we tried, but looked fun, and would try this in the future.

Yelp
Went here for a friends birthday! It was a Friday night and we didn't have a reservation but it still wasn't very busy. We waited about an hour for a table, which was fine but it was also odd because no one else was sat while we waited so not sure what the wait was for. Either way, we got drinks at the bar while we waited. We were sat but had to bring our own water to the table. The service was slow which was once again weird because it wasn't very busy so they must be understaffed. For food, overall it was good but I ordered the Steak Frites which were tasty but I found them to be over priced for the amount of food you got. I believe it was $24 for the dish. The ice cream sandwich was delicious though and was a decent deal. I would try this place again but don't have the highest expectations.

Yelp
This place has to be a hidden gem. We enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and eventually dinner! The roasted cauliflower was to die for. Service was great as well. We had both a simulator assistant and a waiter who attended to us regularly and gave great recommendation. The indoor golf simulator was a perfect activity for a freezing evening. Husbands played and enjoyed St Andrews The Old Course on the simulator.

Yelp
We had a couple coupons for free happy hour items and decided to try out Thr3 Jack for the first time. From the beginning to end we thought the customer service was great. They checked up on us multiple times and made sure if there were any concerns. The food was great too! The HH menu had a good variety and they all sounded interesting. We ended up getting the smoked chicken nachos which we thought could've had more chicken and sauce. The wings were really tasty though, I really enjoyed the char-grilled cook with the runny sauce. The burger was also a highlight where the toasted bun & sauce elevated the flavors. I'll have to try some other items next time.

Yelp
Very cool place! We went here for their open house event and was able to check out the luxurious venue and fun golf simulators. Breezy outdoor seating available with a fun vibe surrounding area of businesses and park area. Tasty food options with a variety of selections. Golf simulators were very entertaining but you need to get used to their "touch". Staff was incredibly friendly and outgoing - a rate treat for downtown restaurants. Overall a great place for a lively, entertaining hangout spot!

Yelp
This is by a very long shot the best restaurant on the block but it's vaguely in a shadow so no one goes. What a shame. Everything I've had here is fantastic. My favorites are the harissa cauliflower, the moist flavorful lamb meatballs with tatziki, and the BUCKET OF WARM MINI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, dear lord they are incredible. Patio seating, indoor/outdoor bar, golf weirdly. Very clean.

Yelp
We booked Thr3 Jack for 5 of us to golf on the curved screen for my father in law's birthday. We were running about 10 minutes late and got a call from the front desk on our way there; they offered to push our time back so that we would get our full booked time. That alone was enough for 5 stars, but our server was helpful and kind, and we got mini cookies as a birthday treat! The entire place is very nice and clean, the staff are super helpful, and prices seem reasonable (especially when booking for a group; it's nice to pay by the hour & split, rather than paying per person). We had the avocado bruschetta and it was delicious! Perfectly proportioned and crispy, with a tiny hint of spice. My husband has had the burger in the past and loved it as well!

Yelp
I've visited many times since my last review and have continued to have great experiences. I've come twice with large groups for dinner parties and they can handle groups no problem. It always feels like a special place with the nice ambiance in the bar/restaurant area and makes for fun celebratory photos for a special occasion with friends.

Yelp
We had come in during restaurant week & had mixed reviews. The food was okay- I feel like it had the potential to be really good but it was all a bit dry. The cauliflower had a unique flavor but wouldn't order again. The avocado toast was delicious! I love their take on it. The steak sandwich was dry & not really a sandwich- it was some sliced steak on open faced bread. The peach cobbler was underdone & the crumble didn't have flavor. The cocktail flight was fun, but it they were coming out in phases and after our food. It was really slow despite a relatively empty restaurant. Overall I'd say this is a great cocktail bar with awesome north loop vibes but the food left something to be desired.

Yelp
Food, staff, and ambiance is incredible!! The staff is so kind and responsive. Their happy hour is delicious, specifically their wings and beef pizza. It has become my regular spot. Sam, Jeff, and Jamie are awesome.
google avatar

Jim R.

Yelp
A golf-themed sports bar in trendy north loop. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and were two of just a handful of people there-I think it's more of a happy hour and beyond spot. The smashed burgers we enjoyed for lunch were good and I liked the crispy fries. Parking is in a huge ramp directly above the restaurant or on the street although they are set back quite a ways from Washington Will have to try dinner sometime
google avatar

Anna H.

Yelp
We went here for a team HH & outing after work and it did not disappoint! We had a golf simulator room booked and it was so much fun! Many of us ordered off the Happy hour menu and they had great prices! I got the bubbles for $6. Definitely recommend companies to host their HH and events here.
google avatar

Yelp
Hidden Gem in the North Loop, The food and service have been amazing the three times I've been in. Sean the bartender is awesome. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Yelp
This was an awesome indoor event for a cool Friday in Minnesota! We went after lunch on a Friday so it was during the "cheaper" times. It was 35 dollars an hour for the widescreen bay and normally is 65 an hour. While we were there, I got a margarita and this time we didn't end up getting any food but I would try it next time I go. There's a computer at your bay that you select which game you want to play and they provide clubs so all you have to do is show up and pick what you want to do. You can have up to 15 people at a bay but that limits how many times you get to play depending on how long you are there. We had 3 people for an hour and 15 minutes and that was a good amount of time. There is a parking garage above Thr3 Jack that we noticed after we were there; we had ended up parking on the street nearby. Leave a little extra time to figure out parking. When you walk in to Thr3 Jack they have a cool dining area/bar that has golf balls on the ceiling to set the vibes. Really cool venue that I'll be back to!
google avatar

Xia Y.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Fast service. We stopped by for a quick eat and the staff were friendly and attentive. There's also indoor golfing so definitely a great place to hangout with friends.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
I haven't gone indoor golfing here but I had brunch with my friends here and it was definitely a cool spot to catch up. I wish there was happy hour Sunday for brunch on mimosas and such but it made sense for my table to split a Champaign bottle instead of like one mimosa.

Luke B.

Yelp
Just was here for happy hour; food and drinks were amazing. It's about 3:45 on a Sat and people are rolling in, was pretty quiet about an hour ago.
google avatar

Jeongmin H.

Yelp
Came for brunch and their food was absolutely delicious. The benedict was so rich and creamy, and the mustard caviar added a nice kick of flavor. Flapjacks were amazing and I especially loved their honey habanero sauce - it's pretty spicy though!

Al P.

Yelp
The service, ambiance, and food was all amazing! We were greeted immediately by all of the staff that was working. It was pretty cold so I immediately went to look at the merchandise and bought a long sleeved shirt with hoodie! Great quality and nice looking. The drinks were delicious and so was the food! We ordered the burger and it was very tasty and juicy! I never order burgers and fries and I would highly recommend this one!
google avatar

Jeffrey F.

Yelp
Wandered into this place in the north loop. Look mostly like a drinking establishment and was golf-based as they had a huge golf area where you can drive balls into a video screen and a very large bar with golf memorabilia. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. It was pretty good. The cauliflower was just OK and the calamari was pretty good. Price point was decent and the food was better than average
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
I've been here three or four times. It's absolutely great for the golf. Really fun to hit some golf balls, and it's physically really comfortable with a great atmosphere and ambiance. However, we were here on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. When we were done playing golf and eating, we went to the bar. We had just dropped about $250 for the golf, beers and food. So when we went to the bar we were planning to get one or two more beers before we left. The bartender didn't acknowledge us or offer to serve us for at least 10 minutes, even when there was no one else at the bar. Eventually my buddy asked him pretty aggressively if we could get another beer. He very reluctantly provided one. He never asked us again if we'd want another beer. He never offered us any water or a menu to order more food, which we probably would have done if he'd offered. It wasn't late. Maybe 9 pm. We weren't intoxicated or impolite or anything like that. If I owned this place, I would want to fire that bartender as fast as I possibly could. He was totally worthless. Overall, I really like this place. I think the food is solid, and it's a great place to swing a golf club and have some fun with a few buddies. But the service was pretty suspect. We probably will never go back there ever again.
google avatar

Yelp
Thr3 Jack does a solid job of marrying up some of my favorite things - golf, good food and good drinks. We have only stopped in to play some sim golf over the brunch/lunch hours, so I can't speak to the nightlife at Thr3 Jack. That said, the brunch and lunch menus have hit the spot each time. The breakfast nachos are fantastic and big enough to share, the tuna melt is solid and the lamb meatballs are a nice dish to split. The boozy brunch beverages have also been good. The space itself is fairly expansive and nicely decorated. The simulators aren't top of the line (go to Birdi in Woodbury if looking for top of the line sims), but they have plenty of courses and games to choose from with his and hers PXG clubs available for those that don't bring their own.
google avatar

Jen J.

Yelp
We went here today in hopes of my daughter and husband to play some golf and have some drinks and food. No reservations were booked until 4:00. When we arrived at 1:30ish and asked if there was room to play the manger very rudely told us it wld be at least an hour wait to play so we opted to just have lunch. The food was delish and our server was very nice. My complaint is the manager was rude, didn't seem to want to let us play golf and as I walked around and saw multiple simulators open and it was not busy at all it felt very odd to me. Extremely disappointing especially for my daughter who wanted to golf. It was as though the manager didn't want us there. Bummer experience for the first time :(

Yelp
Just came back to visit thr3 Jack a couple of weeks ago on a hot Saturday. They are doing a great job at making you feel safe with COVID policies in place. All staff are wearing masks and there is constant sanitizing going on in between customers. We sat on the patio and tables are nicely spaced apart and it is shaded so if it's as hot as it was on the day we visited it is definitely needed. We didn't order food this time, just drinks. Still a good beer selection and great drinks being served. We saw a lot of people getting nachos so that must be a popular dish! Highly recommend supporting them as they reopen during this time we are in. They did inform us the simulators are open for reservation as well inside! Good work Thr3 Jack!
google avatar

Gary K.

Yelp
This place is great. I really like the golf theme with the simulators that you can rent out. The food , service and atmosphere are awesome.
google avatar

Yelp
Best kept secret in the North Loop. A must visit. Great happy hour specials (something for everyone), friendly staff, prime location with lots of parking nearby, and excellent food. This is contemporary urban at it's best. It's great for catching up with friends. And, if you're looking for a great team event / outing location - the party room and golf simulator make Thr3 Jack a no brainer. Your team will love it. From the menu, I highly recommend the burger (reminiscent of the fabled Parlour burger), lamb meatballs, chicken nachos, and carbonara.
google avatar

Meldria E.

Yelp
The food was nasty and over priced. Our waiter was extremely disrespectful as she ignored us multiple times, and threw a pile of napkins at our table when we respectfully asked for napkins. The restaurant ambience was OK but personally, I would come here only for the mini golf. The burgers were greasy, the drinks & water tasted like sewer water, and the chicken nachos barely had chicken in it. Personally, I'll never go back.

Yelp
Celebrated a friend's birthday there. Cool interior and with some good choices of food and drinks.

Yelp

Yelp
Went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that they had a non-dairy White Russian inspired cocktail. My food was tasty, bacon crispy, fried green tomato, and garlicky sauce. However, my friends didn't get so lucky, they're just finishing up with a bout of food poisoning and highly suspect that it was courtesy of Thr3 Jack.

Yelp
OVERALL: Drinks are flavorful, activity was fun, food is okay (and some were even poor/a big miss) FOOD: starting with the food, this is the main reason why it's 3/5 stars. The appetizers were good but nothing to write home about. The nachos didn't have much chicken for chicken nachos and stacking it makes it very hard to share/pull apart. We also got the calamari that tasted like it came from a standard "frozen squid rings" box and they load on a bunch of sauce to hide that flavor. They also add jalapeños into it as well, once again trying to mask the bland flavor of frozen calamari. For the entrees, we ordered the ramen fried chicken sandwich and the burger. The burger was a good smashed patty burger. These are pretty standard now-a-days. The real reason for this review was the ramen fried chicken sandwich. This is hands-down the saltiest sandwich that I've had in years. Maybe of all time. We brought it home but immediately through it away when we couldn't fix it. It was truly inedible but wasn't worth sending back because we ate the side (which was a side of slaw- while others had French fries and we were not given the option to swap even though we don't really eat slaw). But truly , if you're curious about this sandwich do yourself a favor and do not order it. DRINKS: the drinks are unique and flavorful and fun. We liked the mule the best and the autumn cosmo. They seemed small/lots of ice for the price. PRICE: It cost about $15-$17 per entree. The drinks were $12 each and steep for what it was but standard for north loop pricing. SAFETY: Very clean, and the employees still wear masks. ATMOSPHERE: Fun and lively, great decor. GAME PLAY: we played "beer pong" and the driving range which was fun! SERVICE: service was okay, not fast but not slow.

Danny H.

Yelp
The service and the food are fantastic. Everyone is treated like a regular whether you like golf or not.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this new restaurant on a Friday night after realizing that Freehouse had no room at the bar to sit. The space is nestled in the back of Washington Ave under an apartment complex. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the restaurant and the fact that they had virtual golf available for groups or parties. I sat at the bar and of course had to order the burger which the bartender claimed was "better than Parlour's" and the Bahamian Fury cocktail which was made of rum, pineapple, chai, egg white, and nutmeg. The fries were nice and skinny and the burger was tasty having an American and Havarti cheese blend but could use more salt and be less greasy. All in all I enjoyed the food cocktails and love the golf/food concept and would come back! with a group

Polly D.

Yelp
Great spot for brunch, lunch or any meal. The food was delicious and the service was great. Prices are reasonable. It also offers golf simulators (6 rooms!), but that doesn't define the place. Go have a great meal in a fun spot!
google avatar

Agnes N.

Yelp
First time trying a Cosmopolitan I loved it! The brunch was great too I had turkey Benedict and they were nice enough to help substitute with chicken upon request.
google avatar

Yelp
Best avo toast everrrrrr and golf was super fun and easy to use. If you haven't been yet, don't walk, RUN.

Ava R.

Yelp
Service was horrible. Waited 2 and a half hours, and had to remind the waitress multiple times about our orders. They would write it down, then say it never went through. Also, they still missed 2 orders. Had to get them to go, and they were incorrect. My friend asked for salmon with her salad (which she paid more for) and they didn't give her any. Ambiance was good. My chicken was disgusting, and had some gross colors.
google avatar

Sharon R.

Yelp
Don't miss this spot! Ticked away across the plaza from another popular restaurant, Trr3Jack is fun, delicious, and friendly. The outdoor patio is well appointed and has abundant seating. Inside it's golf theme snd decor is nice as well. We stopped in for lunch snd enjoyed a burger. They are super up on COVID safety and kind.

Yelp
I have to admit, Thr3 Jack was mind-blowing. Can't wait to try everything off the menu here. Most everything I've tried up until now have been quite good. Really pleasant, attentive and professional. But try Thr3 Jack for yourself and you decide.

Yelp
This place was the worst service I have ever had. I don't remember my servers name but he was the rudest server ever. My gals and I are in the industry ourselves and would never leave a review if it wasn't necessary... Do not recommend!!!!

Thr3 Jack is a great place to start the night in North Loop. The golf simulators are fun for any ability, just know that an hour really isn't enough time for a group to play much... of you have 4-5+ people think about 90 minutes to two hours.

Yelp
Their steak fries were amazing. I still actually crave them, I will be back soon just to get those.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Hard to pick a favorite but the blue corn shrimp was unique and delicious. Avocado bruschetta was great with tomato jam, as were the nachos. Cocktails also good!! Autumn cosmo was tasty and not too sweet. We mostly played the virtual range but would love to come back and try out more games. Would highly recommend, especially great for groups looking for something different!
