Where do I start:
Went there on Saturday 19th November with my girlfriend and the place was half full, went to order at the bar and was informed upon ordering that there was a 30mins wait on food. I could not understand why, as it did not look that busy. Anyway 50 minutes later and still our starter had not arrived.
During this time we noticed two tables get up and walk out, which we thought was strange. Eventually the one starter we were sharing arrived and as we were so hungry we scoffed it down in a couple of minutes. It was beef nachos which to be honest was ok (pretty hard to get them wrong).
We then had to ask the staff to clear the table as we were waiting for our mains. Another 20 minutes past and by this time we were getting pretty frustrated. We noticed that there was something seriously wrong as the bar staff did not seem trained, the waitress was not sure what she was doing and it being a Saturday afternoon at around 1pm they should know it would be busy.
Our mains eventually came and my girlfriend's lasagne was covered with an unnatural amount of cheese that after the first few mouthfuls made the dish inedible. I had the steak & ribs combo.. Steak was dry; ribs were overcooked with no sauce. The whole dish was like eating cardboard. After asking twice for tomato sauce I decided to go up and get it myself.
After attempting to eat half my dinner I simple gave up and left. When we were looking to make a complaint about the service & quality of the food we discovered we had to ask a member of staff for a complaints form, fill it in and hand it back to them.
This we decided was a pointless task as we did not want to wait any further and what was the point in asking someone for a form to make a complaint, then give it back to thee same person who it them meant to hand it to the appropriate management. (this is never going to happen) This process should be easily available with a deposit box that is easily identifiable within the location of the bar.
We left and will never be going back. We noticed at least 4 tables that were not happy on our visit and that's a big no no.
