Three Belles Marina

DO NOT bring a sailboat here! Zero communication. 5 weeks my sailboat has been in the water, still no mast. They are blaming the contractor.. Maybe get a new contractor at this point!? They told me they would tell me first before the boat went in the water, they didn't. They told me they wouldn't have put the boat in the water if it had service to be done it, they did. They had to pull it back out to install the transducer and then put it back in. Then for weeks and weeks they keep promising me they will step the mast this week.. it's been over a month. I'll be missing half the season by the time it gets put on. EDIT: And after you complain instead of making right they throw you out! Imagine rather sweeping your problems under the rug instead of address them and trying to improve

Wow. Hidden Gem hopefully not hidden for much longer. Amazing coffee, chill vibes and friendly staff; Nick and Abby are incredibly welcoming. Check out the menu! Wonderful place to come and have a bite while gazing at the water. Great business model, and non-pretentious.

I’ve had my boat docked at three Bell‘s Marina for the first time this season. I could not say enough good things about the facilities but more importantly the staff. Laurie the Marina manager has been a pleasure to work with. Ken, the service manager is top-notch, The guys at the gas dock are pleasant and helpful. Anything needed they all right there to help. They are courteous, pleasant, and competent.

I'm an indoor valet customer and this marina is by far the best. Great facility, great staff, and great atmosphere. Ken the service manager and Matt the yard manager are two main reasons I'm here. Thank you for many years of great boating!

Great customer service and a beautiful marina! I was having problems with my small Suzuki engine which another marina had been unable to fix. Ken took a look and had a engine running in no time. He was courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

I plan a trip or two every summer or fall to rent peddle kayaks. This year we took our friends who were visiting from out of state. What a relaxing time. Being seniors we all wondered if we would but up for the adventure but it all went as planned. I would strongly suggest making the trip to Three Belles and enjoy a day that you won't soon forget. Perfection!!!

Our experience at this marina has been exceptional. We brought our boat from Southern CT to Three Belles in Niantic for a re-power. They came as highly recommended Suzuki certified technicians, and we have found them to be both accommodating and professional. They have been remarkably responsive, timely and consistent in their follow through. We trust their expertise and would recommend them without hesitation.

For 5 weeks my boat sat in the water with no mast. The communication was terrible. They put it in the water to begin with when they said they wouldn't because service was going to be done and then they had to pull it back out again for the service just to put it back in. They don't communicate even with each other let alone to their customers. This all pales in the fact that they couldn't find a contractor to step the masts so all the sailboats sat for weeks.. very sad. Then after I gave them a 1-star review on Google instead of trying to better this year they banned me from the marina because of my review! Imagine instead of trying to be better just to try and sweep your problems under the rug.

Very helpful looking for fishing and boating products. Especially Allan! They even offered me a slice of their pizza. Highly recommend this business. All e.ployees extremely helpful and friendly.

Don't go here we had a get ski here for 3 years and it was 14000 and they treated us like trash parts were stolen when it was there and there is no cameras it was tampered with at 3 bells and insurance did not cover it because it was not there for the winter but if it was it would be another 2 grand don't give these assholes another cent take my word trust me!!!

I am not a boater but have thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and lunch at the Galley. The young people working there have been super... even call me Grandma!'. I love this place.

The Three Belles Galley in 2022 has expanded its menu and added soft serve ice cream. Breakfast & lunch are available W-Su until 3 (opens at 8 weekdays, 7 weekends). Last year they added dinners on F & Sa. The galley's primary mission is to provide an amenity for the people who dock at the marina. Prices are reasonable. The "old" galley felt like your mom's kitchen on a day when you needed extra love and she made your breakfast or lunch exactly the way you want it. I had the Philly cheese steak omelette cheese steak. Yum! My husband had "Breakfast Squared" a tortilla with two eggs, cheese, and bacon presented as a square. At this point, the galley is retaining enough of the old and welcoming enough of the new. Smith Cove is beautiful! You can rent a kayak or SUP and explore!

Adam and his guys where extremely helpful, i was missing drain plug and they went out of their way to find me one, highly appreciated and recommended.

I've been here a couple times to kayak (rented) during the summer and I've had a great time. The staff were easy going and answered any questions I had to make me feel comfortable. Also, they were super understanding about resolving any issues I had. Would definitely go again. #TBOSummer

I had Three Belles Marina clean & Wax my boat hull this year and my boat has never looked as good as it does now. I am extremely pleased with the job that Matt and Chris did on the boat and am amazed by the attention to detail in their work which resulted in the boat looking like it is brand new. Kudos to the Three Belles Staff for a job well done.

Went on a family vacation in Connecticut and want to do some kayaking, three Belles was the hotel recommended place to go. Was one of the most pleasant rental experiences I've have in a long time everyone was extremely helpful and the route we took had the best views.. of course we had someone flip the kayak and the residents of the area were very kind and helpful as well! Will most definitely go back to Three Belles when I'm in the area again.

I typically don't write reviews but had to this time to share my experience. I called with a Mirage drive/stripped gear problem on my Hobie kayak. There's lots of different drive models and we weren't sure which I had, so John asked me to come in with the drive to check it out. Not only did they have the part I needed, but John offered to help with the repair on site. And even better, Addison Carter (of the Hobie fishing team) happened to be there and did most of the wrenching! It was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had anywhere. Thanks again guys!!!

This month I brought a 6 hp Outboard motor in for a carb cleaning with the understanding it would be removed and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner. The motor ran fine, but the idle jet was clogged. A "1" hour job took a week. When they "cleaned" the carb it was never ultrasonic cleaned. First it was the only do it to "big blocks"(?), then is was we never do it to small carbs, and finally "we don't have one! Which was why I brought it there. They stated it had low compression, wrong. They just did not know anything about how to work on it.So much for truth in advertising. Got it back in the same condition delivered, just $222.00 poorer. Thanks to a reputable service person at Defender who said to tell them to clean the carb and I would be all set. Well Defender had a month back log. Bought new carb ( clean). Dropped it on and running like a top within 15 min. It was quicker to change the carb out than pay the bill. When I told people where I went they laughed and said they would have warned me if I spoke up. Had they been truthful, they would have said they were not competent on 6 hp 4 stroke non Suzuki motors. PURE THEFT in my opinion. Didn't even offer to discount the bill due to their ineptness.

I recently had my 26 foot Robalo repowered at Three Belles marina. The whole process was easy. Starting with Amanda in the office. I went with twin 200 hp. Suzuki 4 strokes. I spoke with Ken, who is the new service manager. He went over the different motor options and accessories. Working with Ken was a pleasure as I've gotten to know him over the last several months. To say I am very pleased with the repowered would be an understatement. Kens attention to detail is second to none. My boat is 26 years old so there's always something to repair. Kens work is meticulous. He kept me updated daily on the progress from derigging the old motors to final sea trial. I highly recommend Ken for all your mechanical issues. If Ken can't fix it then it's not broken. Thank you Ken. I couldn't be more pleased with the results

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered Jet Float products from their website. They were quick to take the amount off my credit card but not to fill the order. I tried emailing them but received no reply. I phoned at least 6 times but could never get anyone knowledgeable to speak to. They always promised to have someone return my call but I guess their phones only work one way. I am still waiting for a call. I am going and try to cancel the order however I am not holding my breath about that credit to my card. Don't deal with these people via their website.

Update Since my last review a year ago. I now have no choice but to update my previous one. I have since last year waiting for Tao to get me one (just one) jet dock. He has been promising me for a year now that it will be ordered. Today 5/18/17 I tried to call him and I received no response from him. All I need is one jet dock that I paid for last year. If you need to order something do not pay until you get it. Enuffs enuff!

Decided to finally try out stand-up paddle boarding and rented from Three Belles. Absolutely loved it and wanted to learn more about necessary gear and best boards to buy for myself. The staff (particularly Theo) were incredibly informative and helpful - really nice, more than happy to share tips about paddle boarding and outdoor life in CT/MA/NH. Will definitely be back.

This is the best marina ever. The people are super cool and helpful. We came with a groupon and we are definitely coming back to buy one of these beautiful honor fishing kayaks. Thanks Tay o and Devon for hooking us up. I tried the paddle board with pedals that was so awesome!!!

I've kept my boat at this marina since 2003, when it was still under the ownership of Bayreuther. I can tell you that our boating experience went from a parking spot for our boat, to a family gathering place, and a marine country club, once Toby and Libby bought the marina. They are honest, hard-working owners who take incredible pride in the facility. Once they took the reigns, they began immediately renovating throughout, and refreshing the entire experience. The marina attracts boaters who take pride in their vessels, and share a common respect for the grounds. The marina facilities are kept clean and in proper working order. They have expanded offerings in the cafe' and in their boat supply store. Am I getting the lowest price for a slip? I don't know, as I have no reason to shop anywhere else. Whatever I pay, I know its a fair rate for what I receive in services.

They were friendly until I took out my checkbook. At that point the contract started to have additional fees and restrictions. When I protested, they got just plain nasty. Much happier at another marina :)

My wife and I rented paddleboards last weekend and had a fantastic experience with the boarding and with Three Belles Marina. Theo was extremely helpful, showing us how to get started and giving us a great start. We had so much fun we're going back today for another 1/2 day! We HIGHLY recommend Three Belles Marina if you're in the area and want to give it a try. They also have a good selection of kayaks to rent and some amazing Hobie Kayaks to drool over inside!
