Best Tampa-Area Spots For Chardonnay This Memorial Day | Eater

"Built out in the bones of a charming old farmhouse, the Three Birds Tavern delivers an assortment of delicious comfort foods to pair with your wine. Immerse yourself in the rustic atmosphere with a plate of chicken marsala, or head out to the patio and soak up some sunshine as you enjoy the warm breeze with a glass of Harken." - Matthew Meltzer

Great happy hour. Had an amazing espresso martini and lamb burger. Was able to hangout with my dog. The atmosphere is great and it's perfect with this "fall like" weather. The staff is always super friendly.

Came here after an event at the pier, dog friendly so we were excited. Met a cook in the parking lot who advised us not to eat here, laughed and thought maybe he was sick of the food. We should have listened. Wings were dry with NO sauce, asked for sauce got charged for wing sauce. Not the price that was the problem, it was the fact that wings were supposed to be tossed in a wing sauce and they were not. My chicken was overcooked as were my father’s sliders. Server was clueless. Bathrooms were clean and the entire staff loved my dog and was very friendly. Mediocre experience. Probably won’t return.

Solid food and a fun location. I had the fish and chips and tried the coconut mojito. Bonus: the deck is dog-friendly, which makes it a great spot if you're out with your pup.

I wish I could say my experience was good but the service was absolutely horrible. We watched servers shop off food which is a big no no. By the time our food came it was barely warm. When you order Corned Beef and Cabbage it should NOT be the thin sliced corned beef they use for sandwiches. The lady's restroom was beyond disgusting (it's too graphic to say what we saw) let's just say we showered as soon as we got home. I understand this restaurant is a staple in the area but the board of health needs to pay them a visit as restrooms can often tell you how a kitchen is treated. We had such high hopes going here but either the owners just don't care anymore because there location is so good they make their money or the managers don't know what they're doing and the wait staff desperately needs to be properly trained. I take no joy in writing this but with the prices they charge (they were out of 4 ciders we tried to order) at 4:45pm on a Monday and our servers (2) were just walking around lost. The peanut butter pie was good but definitely not made in house which is probably why it was edible. After 38 years in the Restaurant business I can honestly say the only thing this place has keeping it open is the location. I hope they do a major overhaul and train/re-train their staff and those restrooms have to be dealt with. No one wants to use toilets where the walls, floors and toilets are splattered with dried and wet feces. The decks and verandas are beautiful and the inside looked very nice as well. A team is only as good as their leaders and we saw none. No table touches, it seemed no one cared how service was going.

We wanted to try a local place this weekend, so we stopped here! They had an extensive drink menu with fun cocktails. We both got a smash burger and fries. The fries were phenomenal. We both agreed it wasn’t super filling. We were still hungry afterwards. If we come back, maybe we’ll try something else or get appetizers with it too.

We were there on a busy Sunday afternoon and was seated inside quite fast, there were 4 of us. Our drink order was taken quickly and brought to us pretty fast. There was a small wait between food order but all orders were correct and the food was fresh and hot. We had the fish and cgi I s entree, not to bad, a big portion with hot fries, good cole slaw and a tartar sauce made with malt , I believe, which was tasty. A little wait for our check but all in all a great meal.

A basic Irish tavern feel to this place. Nothing amazing the menu is basic with mostly sandwiches. I Was not really impressed with the food it was nothing to write home about. Drink prices are okay and it’s mostly outdoor seating and prices are mostly $17+ per item.

What a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Alexa waited on us and was amazing! Food was overall good. Chicken salad was top notch. Pretzel appetizer and cheese was delicious. Black & Blue burger was good but meat was a bit dry. Variety of drink selections sure to keep everyone happy!
