Where to Eat at Nashville International Airport (BNA) | Eater Nashville

"I enjoyed a Tennessee Whiskey Trail partnership concept where 99% of the bar is locally made spirits, taps pour only Tennessee beers, and the food menu features burgers, sandwiches, and in-house barbecue, with a window for to-go cocktails or bottles." - Eater Staff

Bite to eat between flights. Very good service and yammy food. We had a cuban sandwich, kids cheeseburger and cobb salad. Reasonably priced too.

I had a layover in Nashville while flying from West Palm Beach to Milwaukee. We landed a little after lunch, so I figured I’d grab something to eat with the two hours I had to kill. I wasn’t expecting much—airport food can be hit or miss—but I was pleasantly surprised. My pulled pork burger was excellent, the local beer and whiskey selection was impressive, and the staff was fantastic. Isaiah was especially great, patiently putting up with my rambunctious son, which made the experience even better. If I end up in the Southwest terminal at BNA again, I’ll definitely be stopping in a second time.

Google
Three Casks is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and polished, perfect for kicking off a trip or unwinding after a long flight. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help, which makes the experience even better. The food is excellent for an airport restaurant, with fresh ingredients, great flavor, and generous portions. Their drink selection is impressive. Service is quick without feeling rushed, and everything arrives exactly as ordered. Big shoutout to my server Chris for the amazing service. If you’re passing through BNA, Three Casks is a must stop. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget you’re even in an airport.

Google
Patty melt on sourdough was packed full of flavor and juicy! The fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. The service was not what I expected. Server wasn’t friendly, or engaging but did get our order correct.

Everything was on point here! We were here the day before Christmas Eve, and even as busy as it was, Aliyah took real good care of us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn’t realize the time and needed to rush to close out to get to our gate. Aliyah was quick and efficient at making sure we were set to go. If we are ever in Nashville at this terminal, we will definitely return!

Vicky R.

Google
The Nashville Hot Chicken flatbread was such a treat. Add a bit of their Apple Pie BBQ sauce? So elevated. I need this sauce at home, by the gallon. The Tailgate cider was a new drink for me, having never been to Tennessee, and it was the perfect accomplishment. Cannot praise the food and service enough.

Andrew L.

Google
Aliyah crushed it today with 4 amazing Tennessee Old Fashioned’s. Pulled port with the sriracha stout bbq sauce hit the spot.

Google
Aliyah was amazing. Her warm greeting and smile absolutely brought us in, her service sealed the deal that we made the right food and drink decision. She was able to make recommendations, and had an endless smile on her face even at the end of a very long shift during the holidays. Highly recommend!

Yelp
For a quick stop before a flight, Three Casks was on point. It was bustling and crowded. We grabbed two seats easily though. Our server was so sweet. She was all smiles and very helpful. We ordered a giant sweet pretzel and two cocktails. Everything was delicious. Our visit was very pleasant.

Yelp
Situated deep into Concourse C, Three Casks is a solid spot to grab a drink and/or bite while traveling through BNA. I am usually flying SW out of BNA, so I spend most of my time in Concourse C, so Three Casks is always an option depending on my flight schedule. My latest visit to BNA saw a couple hour delay to ORD, and since I was already in C, I bellied up to the bar at Three Casks for a cocktail and bite. While they are a very whiskey forward and focused spot, I went with one of the house cocktails featuring gin, The Cumberland 75. The gin was tasty, the fruit gave it a bit of a bite, but the chamomille balanced it from being too tart. It was a decent cocktail that hit the spot. Since I was delayed, I decided I might as well eat, so I went with the classic nachos and added pulled pork. The nachos were solid. The cheese sauce was tasty, but a tad too thick. The pickled veggies were a stellar add, and the pulled pork was good and well paired with the house bbq sauce. Service at the bar was okay. They were overwhelmed I am sure given the amount of delays, so they provided the best and most efficient service possible. Overall, solid spot to visit when you have the time at BNA. If I was flying out of another concourse, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but when in C, it is definitely worth it if you have the time.

Yelp
We were here for a layover on our way home. Had a couple of hours to kill so we got some nachos and some drinks. Nachos we got without the cheese sauce as we were not sure if it was GF. Their apple bbq sauce is GF and it was tangy and slightly sweet. Quick service initially. After our drinks we ordered a second round of snacks, my wife the desert and I ordered the large pretzel that looked amazing! It started getting busy and orders are coming out and we never got our last order. So we decided to just check out. It wasn't on the bill so she absolutely forgot. That was a large bummer. So hence the lesser stars. The bourbon selection was amazing though.

Yelp
For a place in an airport, where genertically speaking one never usually finds food worth stopping for, this place was above average. BISCUITS & GRAVY - Buttermilk Biscuit with Sausage Gravy, Served with Choice of Hashbrowns, Grits or Fresh Fruit, for a breakfast stop before a morning flight worked out well. Service was attentive and even though it was close to the gate and out in the open you still managed to feel like you left the airport for a second.

Seth W.

Yelp
Situated at the end of Terminal C. Stopped in for breakfast and sat in the bar area. Most people would agree that airport food experiences are pretty meh. This was not meh! What a pleasant surprise. Ordered the Three Casks Breakfast. Ample amount of scrambled eggs, fresh sausage patty, hashbrowns and toast. Service was great and the ambiance was just fine. Of course airport priced, but that's expected. Overall made my layover a pleasant experience.

Yelp
Great start to my Thanksgiving morning....I came in VERY early Thanksgiving morning and was greeted by Aliyah right away. She was super friendly and went above and beyond. She kept my coffee full and suggested I get the pancakes which were delish!!!! Thanks Aliyah and great job!

Yelp
A gem in the BNA Tennessee airport! It took a bit of time, causing some anxiety to board my flight in time - but that's just apart of the airport experience. We got the chicken wings and they were definitely hot, fresh and delicious!! We paired it with some absolutely POTENT margaritas. I enjoyed our server who was so lively I wish I had caught her name. I took a bite of the wings and ate the rest on the flight. Clean and open bar area. Good amount of seats right in front of our Southwest gate.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch before leaving the airport. They were out of most of the dark beers on the menu, but the amber I ended up with was fine. I went with the Rachel sandwich, which was turkey, Swiss, Cole slaw, and a few other things. It was pretty good...actually a little spicier than I expected but fairly tasty. I had the roasted queso corn for my side. Spicier and a little soupier than I expected but still really good. Service was super quick and friendly enough.

Yelp
Lucky you if your gate is next to this airport' restaurant! Sat at the bar with super friendly staff serving us. This restaurant is lively yet not boisterous. We we able to relax before our flight despite the Tornado warning in effect. We enjoyed the flatbread and the Caesar salad. Both were great! The salad greens were crisp and fresh. The flatbread was crispy and thin with a generous portion of chicken and whisky infused pickles - flavorful without feeling heavy or greasy. This place has a large selection of local beers on tap as well as over 30 local whiskeys to choose from. Don't fret if your plane is delayed- - instead enjoy Three Casks! Cheers!

Yelp
We had a little over a 3 hr layover so we went here to get some food and drinks. David Tucker was our bartender and he was great. Made the best old fashioned my husband has ever tasted. We were never without a drink, David took great care of us and we greatly appreciate it. Food was very good as well.

Yelp
Excellent service from Ashley. The Great Gal and I split a Tennessee BLT, fries and a bowl of tomato soup. The T in the sandwich was a fried green tomato. Loved it! The Great Gal thought the tomato soup was too thick. Anthony, true to great customer service replaced the soup, advising that it had sat awhile, so had thickened. The replacement was quite tasty. I also enjoyed a Tennessee Old Fashioned as the GG enjoyed a hazy IPA. Pretty nice little meal on a short flight change in Nashville.

Yelp
Great, fast service (lemlem H?) and the best meatloaf and coleslaw I have ever had! Not your usual loud airport cafe. A bright light in a day of flight delays and crowded flights. Thank you (I thought later I should have photos of the dish, but ate too fast to do so this photo is what i sent to my family:)
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
The service was great! Thank you Alexa. My fired green tomatoes were fresh and hot (yes!). My Old Fashion was delicious. Not to dog anyone, definitely better than Ole Red (Sorry Blake). I hope when I return home to Vegas your Ole Red will redeem itself. Make sure to stop by Three Casks.

Robert H.

Yelp
Stopped here during a layover and I have nothing but positive things to say. The food was good. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Lem Lem was a sweet wonderful server. The Manager was very personable and stopped by tables to see how things were going.

Yelp
This business made my layover very pleasant. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated immediately. The bar area was clean and the bartender was very welcoming. I ordered a Nashville hot chicken flatbread, slaw and drink recommended by the bartender. The slaw was my least favorite but the flatbread and drink made up for it. The manager even came out to greet me and to ensure I was satisfied with my service. The restaurant is perfectly located near terminals with adequate seating. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Location Terminal C Nashville Service Just one bartender-made it happen! Menu Wide selection of choices. We had the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw. Both excellent. The green beans are nicely grilled and tasty. Summary Awesome airport bar. Great food! Good service!
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Food is fresh and hot. Place is comfortable. The service is friendly, attentive and fast. Very tasty Cuban with hot, crispy fries! Thank you Beshoy and team!

Joel S.

Yelp
Customer service was great and the place was clean. The food and beer just is NOT for me. The mushroom burger had rubbery stringy onions I couldn't chew through and the buns were very weird. The beer was so damn skunky I almost threw up. I'd avoid if you're looking for neutral inoffensive food. Hit up the place a little further down for more traditional, less fancy-pants craft food and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing service and great staff that check up on you regularly & make sure you have a fantastic dining experience. The smoked barbecue is rich in flavors and the sides are equally incredible. This place is a must if you ever happen to be catching a plane at the very end of the C Concourse.

Yelp
Delicious food during a layover! Highly recommend the Bootleggers Mac and Cheese. It was SO good! The service was also great! Beer was great as well!

Yelp
Airport food with dining in option. You go in and find your own seats and a waiter shortly comes. Service was prompt but food takes a little while. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and hot chicken flatbread. Pulled pork sandwich 3/5: good smoky flavor and pulled pork was moist. It came with fried onions which gave it good texture. Would have been 4/5 but the pulled pork was slightly cold. Ordered a spicy coke slaw as a side and it was good but too much onions. Nashville Hot chicken flatbread 5/5: I didn't think I would like this as much as I did, but it was very good. Flatbread was thin and crispy, hot chicken has great flavor and was actually a little spicy. The pickles went well with the flatbread as well. It gave a little tartness to cut through the richness of sauce. I got the flatbread without onions and Bleu cheese.

Kathie K.

Yelp
Ride waiter, my dinner mate had a mishap with her condiments on the table. He took his sweet time, she was full of BBQ sauce, on her, on the table, her plate, the floor, the table next to us. She had to ask for napkins, water, and she still had sauce all over herself. Very dissappointed. My food was horrible. Stale chips for the nachos. Not very good flavor. The table on the other side of us was complaining too. Beshoy Saleh needs to be more customer friendly.
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Great food for an airport, large portions too. The pimento cheese was mediocre. The hot chicken flat bread was good. The Cobb and Cesar salad as were amazing

Yelp
Had 3 hours to kill and the name caught my eye immediately. I was hoping to find some good Tennessee whiskey/bourbon and I definitely did! I loved that it was all the way down at the end of the C terminal and wasn't super crowded. Sipped on a blueberry lemonade seltzer while perusing the whiskeys available. They do flights which is awesome with so many local distilleries around. Settled on two whiskeys and a bourbon. All three were great and I got some other fantastic recommendations from the bartender, Rafaele. Even bought two bottles based off his suggestions. Needed some food, so I got the craft nachos with turkey. Good portion size, the turkey had great flavor and the cheese sauce was delicious. Loved the BBQ sauces, as well, especially the apple pie one. I might even go out of my way to have a layover here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly wait staff, open seating and quick service make this an inviting stop in off a flight in terminal C here at the end of the terminal at BNA. But if you have time, reconsider other options. I found this to be sad overpriced airport food that will leave you questioning your choice. I had 1 beer and 1 burger, the waiter upsold my side dish to green beans automatically. $37. The beer was small, the burger way overdone, the pulled pork was old and bland. All 3 BBQ sauces at the table were all sickly sweet. The Siracha BBQ sauce was also super sweet. The burger was tiny and the bun soaked in oil.... It tasted terrible. Those uncharged green beans had some 'smoke' added to them. But it's the fake smoke that kinda leaves a lighter fluid after toast that a cheep pellet smoker leaves. I have to go wash my hands now and find something else to eat. Servers are friendly a quick however.
google avatar

Shane M.

Yelp
I never thought I would find my fave all time biscuits and gravy at an airport restaurant , but oh my. The food in this place just screams freshness and the employees are over the top nice. . Thanks for making my layover great!
google avatar

Meesh L.

Yelp
Great place to hang out before a flight. You seat yourself among the ample seating with outlets to charge your phone and/or work on your laptop. There is bar seating, regular tables, high tops, and seating that face outward towards the terminal, making it perfect for people-watching. The staff is very friendly, and the service was quick. There is an extensive drinks and hot food menu. I ordered a whiskey (lots to choose from) neat, fried green tomatoes, and whiskey baked beans, which were not bad. If you need to relax and unwind in a quieter place than the middle of the terminal with its loud bars, this is an ideal choice for a peaceful pre-flight break.

Alex S.

Yelp
Tried the fried green tomato but which was great. Services is friendly but slow. Check it out if you have time but if you do might be worth the stop. Also has a nice local beer selection.
google avatar

Christy M.

Yelp
I got to the airport early for my flight, so I settled in here for lunch. If you sit at the high-top counter in the front you have access to outlets to charge your devices. Despite the the airport being busy, I had no trouble getting a spot. I decided to try the fried green tomato BLT with pimento cheese. It was fantastic! The soda refills and good place to get some work done made for a delicious and productive lunch! The music playing was eclectic but not the best- I could have done with less autotuned pop music, but it wasn't as loud as most of the other restaurants (as cool as it is to have live music in an airport, I really did need to get work done. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely be ordering that sandwich again!

Shelley C.

Yelp
Wow, loved this place! Aliyah was bright and cheerful first thing in the morning and she really took care of us, and the delishious breakfast will carry us well into the day. Loved the grits... best I've had! Will be back.

Yelp
With an extremely long layover, after reading the menu for the restaurants in the concourse I was in, I picked Three Casks all because of the fried green tomato and pimento cheese BLT sandwich. There wasn't a sign that said to seat yourself but someone noticed me standing at the entrance and said to come on in and grab a table. My server was Almaz. She was pleasant and only ran into problems trying to find a drink list with their beers listed in it. She found one so I ended up taking a picture of the sour beers and letting her have it back for others. I ordered the fried green tomato BLT on sourdough with a side of their pickled hot slaw. The sandwich came out with fries so I waited until she came back before touching the plate. I did this; one because it was not what I ordered and I thought maybe it was someone else's food, and two because the guy next to me ordered a salad before me and had not received his food yet. It was mine she just was so used to people ordering fries that's how she entered it into the computer. As for the sandwich I did not get sourdough. The bread tasted like toasted garlic bread to me. There's nothing wrong with that, it just wasn't what I was expecting. The fried green tomatoes were small and there was a ton of bacon on the sandwich, but it was cold bacon. The slaw was pickled with a kick and really good. The two sour beers I ordered were both good. The part that worked for me but not for the older gentleman that came in towards the end of my meal was the house party R&B music they had blasting. I thought it was great, but after Destiny's Child asked to Say my name, say my name for the 100th time, the guy turned to me and said I hate this music! Hahaha kinda like when your grandparents hated your parents music and your parents hated your music. That's what his comment reminded me of!!! If I find myself in the Nashville airport I would definitely return and have drinks at the bar.

Jake C.

Yelp
Amazing place for whiskey and food. The bartender Zane had amazing recommendation's and the Cuban sandwich was a winner.
google avatar

Shania J.

Yelp
Talk about southern hospitality. This place is a must-stop-at when arriving in Nashville for business, pleasure, or the unbearable layover. Get some of that Chattanooga whiskey down your throat, and thank me later.
google avatar

Kayla M.

Yelp
Stopped in while headed to Chicago. Sat at the bar and had great service from Bethany. The food was yummy! She recommended the breakfast sandwich and it did not disappoint. The siracha mayo was so good!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Great food! I highly recommend the Fried Green Tomato BLT! It was delicious! Service was friends and fast. Place was clean. We has to sit down at a dirty table because it was open seating and there weren't any clean & empty tables. But out waiter quickly finished clearing it and wiping it down. It was super close to our gate at gate C24.
google avatar

Kylle S.

Yelp
Typical airport food. Tried a bunch of stuff. Seasoning was way hit or miss, but the service was great. The staff does their best.

Yelp
The Cobb salad was excellent and the service was top notch. I would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
Yelp it from the rooftops! Get the espresso martini and you'll be happy happy happy!! So amazing! And If Danielle is your server....lucky you!

Yelp
I guess I love this place because it is right next to my gate C20 at the Nashville airport. How can you not love a great bartender who is fast and makes sure you get your wine and delicious food ASAP ! After all, we have a flight to catch. I recommend the BAR B Q - whatever kind you want - I had the pulled pork, because you are going to drench it in their awesome bar B Q sauce anyway. Don't forget the spicy Cole slaw that the chef gave me the recipe for (hint...add jalapeños...) This is the second time I have visited the Three Casks.

Terry L.

Yelp
Worst food I've ever had in Nashville I got the Brisket Caprese plate pasta was cold brisket was almost all fat never again in this place !
google avatar

Haley P.

Yelp
Rafeale was phenomenal!! Traveling alone and found this bar and he made me feel so welcomed!! Really appreciate the hospitality!!

Luvell G.

Yelp
Food is great. Especially the smoked turkey. The bourbon is very good and they have a great variety. My go to at BNA.

Olivia A.

Yelp
This place was the perfect airport stop!!! I don't normally get excited about airport restaurant food (just from experience), BUT this place was so lovely I had to write a review. I ordered several drinks - the bartenders are so nice and knowledgeable - especially if you're a whiskey lover. I only ordered an app - the Nashville hot chicken flatbread.... OH MY. It was wonderful. Stop in here!!! I didn't even think to take a photo of the food, because I didn't anticipate writing a review, but definitely try this place!
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. Service was great. The bartender was friendly. I loved my food and will dine here again.

Yelp
When you fly, you expect the food at the airport not to impress. I mean you are trapped and you are limited on options, but Three Casks bucks that trend. Selamawet greeted me and promptly sat me on a late Monday night. After getting some fresh brewed tea, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with the TC Slaw. When it arrived, I was greeted with a sandwich with perfectly grilled sourdough bread, creamy pimento cheese, and crisp maple bacon. I got that wonderful crunch sound as I took my first bite and realized I'm in for something good. To keep with the tradition of the "Nashville Hot," the slaw packed its own heat, this coming from the sliced jalapeños. While not overly spicy, those that expect a traditional slaw, this is your warning. With over and hour until my plane began to board, I opted to finish off with something sweet. When Selamawet mentioned they had pecan pie, I was ready for something spectacular. This is where Three Crates return to normal airport fair. While the filling of the $10 slice was enjoyable, the crust was obviously from a frozen pie crust package. While the size was perfect for a single serving--it was less than an 1/8th and could have been a 1/10th size slice, the price was more deserving of some more. Overall the meal was great, but do yourself a favor and stop before dessert.

Yelp
Three Casks...Leteyesus was a waitress...drinks were amazing! She took really great care of us! You should make sure this is one of your stops too!! And make sure to ask for Leteyesus!!
