This was my first time stopping into the shop and I’m so glad I did. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a great conversation about how he got started with the bakery and you can really feel his passion for what he does. It made the experience so special. They even have a photo wall featuring customer’s pets, which I thought was a meaningful way to include the community in the business. The moment I walked in, I could tell everything was made with so much love and care for our pets. There were so many adorable and creative treats to choose from. I honestly had a hard time deciding, so I ended up leaving with a bunch for my dog. The prices were super reasonable too, which was such a nice surprise given the quality. It’s rare to find a place that puts this much heart into what they do. I’ll definitely be back and I can’t wait to bring my pup with me next time. :-)

Extremely nice people who work here and my dog loves the treats! Sometimes, I wish they made stuff for humans because they always look so appetizing. 😆 I attached a picture of the beautiful 6" bone cake they made. Of course, my dog loved every single bite. He will be getting more of it for the next couple of days because it was big! Thank you for all that you guys do.

This place is absolutely adorable! Tucked away between a few specialty shops, including a groomer, in downtown Plymouth, it’s a hidden gem that every pet owner should visit. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the most amazing smell! The treats look so good, I almost wanted to try them myself! They even offer custom birthday cakes for your pets, which is such a sweet touch. The store is packed with a variety of toys, treats, food, rawhides, and the most adorable clothes for your furry friends. Whether you’re shopping for a special occasion or just because, there’s something for every pet. The staff is incredibly friendly and inviting, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. The prices for the treats are very reasonable, and while I didn’t look at prices for other items, I imagine they’re fairly typical for specialty stores. It’s a wonderful spot to spoil your pet, and I’ll definitely be back!

I called to see if they had any cakes already made since my fur baby’s birthday is tomorrow. They said yes and asked if I needed anything written on them cake they did that for me as well the two ladies there were super friendly and nice I will be back with my little Tinkerbell. She only had a few licks of the cake only because we are letting her tummy settle from eating her food first. But she loved it. 🥰❤️🥰 HAPPY 3rd birthday TINKERBELL PS WE LOVE THE CAKE ITS SUPER CUTE AND SMELLS REALLY GOOD. Thank you so much for the phenomenal customer service we will be back.

So thankful I found this bakery through Google reviews! My doggo had a lot of food sensitivities so I was pretty nervous to try new desserts with him for his 11th birthday! But he absolutely loved ALL of the desserts, cookies and toys from this bakery! The staff is really professional and I had the best time getting advice over the phone from one of the employees. I didn’t get a chance to ask her name but she was hilarious! And I wanted to extend my thank you to her, and the staff who were there to give me recommendations when I went to pick up his cake!

Google
Have been buying our dogs their birthday cakes here for many years. Such nice staff to help if you have questions about ingredients in their bakery products, as one of our dogs has an issue with a wheat allergy. They also have pre-boxed treats, toys, little jackets when it's colder out and dog and cat accessories too. So our girls loved the dog bone cake, with peanut butter and the birthday treats. Definitely recommend stopping by here, for your special pets.

Google
Always love Three Dog Bakery. Great selections of delicious treats for dogs! Got my pup a 6 inch bone cake (carob flavored) he had a peanut butter one last year! Such good service!

Google
I usually walk in and buy personalized treats for my dog's birthday every year. The lady behind the counter was friendly and greeted me with a smile. When i asked for a personalized treat, she informed me that she would add my dog's name to the treat only because they were not busy. While she did add his name to the woofie pie, it was the first time in 8 years that it seemed to be a problem to have my dog's name added. I previously came in when the store was crowded, and the staff gladly added the name. I am not sure if their policy changed regarding personalization. The young man that was there never even looked up when I walked into the store and certainly did not greet me. It was an interesting experience, not what I am used to when I come to Three Dog Bakery.

Yelp
Such a cute store! Stopped by this weekend to get our dog some yummy souvenirs and bought ribs and fries from the bakery. Any type of food item you can think of, they can create for dogs. Ingredients for everything are listed on the glass. Our dog has a very sensitive stomach and luckily had no issues with the treats.

Yelp
Last year I visited this bakery for the 1st time and had a great experience. This year the customer service was TERRIBLE! I drove about 35 minutes to the bakery to pick up some treats for my dog's birthday! When I walked in, there were 3 staff members in the shop. One was working on a cake closer to the window and never looked up to acknowledge a customer had walked in. There were two ladies behind the counter further down having a conversation. I started walking towards the bakery cases and one mumbled under her breathe how are you while the other just stared. Very uncomfortable experience. My gut told me to just turn around and walk out but I had drove a nice distance and wanted to treat my dog. One of the women stood at the register and just watched me look through the casing. Didn't ask if I needed help with anything or nothing. Feeling uncomfortable, I just hurried up and picked two things so that I could pay and go. Never have I ever felt like an unwanted customer. I will never return here.

Yelp
A cute dog bakery with a assortment of cute and unique treats that our dogs love. The bakery also has dog toys, accessories and dog bones. Staff is very friendly.

Yelp
Adorable & the pups loved it! I stopped into Three Dog Bakery for a neighborhood puppy's 1 year old pawty! I wanted to get something custom & Three Dog made it happen! Since it was day of, I got a dog shaped cookie with the pup's name written on it. With more advance notice. they can make custom cakes! When I walked in, it smelled so good -- just like a bakery. Everything they use is human grade but no salt, sugar, chocolate (obvi). They had such fun seasonal-themed treats with various flavors so they can help recommend based on your doggo's preferences. I'll definitely be back and plan ahead next time for my puppers' birthdays! I wish there was one closer to Ann Arbor!

Yelp
Bought a Lions bandana for my dog and WHILE STILL AT THE STORE, tried it on her. It didn't fit on her collar right and couldn't get a refund. This is after buying 6 baked goods for her. Why? There wasn't any packaging issues as the bandana was simply clipped to a piece of cardboard. Won't be buying any wearables or toys from them anymore. : (

Yelp
My family and I love this pup bakery they are always so helpful and kind also very clean!

Yelp
I purchased a cake for my dog's first birthday. I was so very pleased with the appearance, quality, price, and service I received! (And the dogs LOVED the cake, gobbling it up almost instantly!) It was very easy to place my order via email, I got a confirmation quickly, and when I picked it up everything was exactly as I expected. Plus, the price was very reasonable: $21 for a 6-inch heart-shaped carrot cake with birthday message writing on it. The shop has lots of very cute bakery items such as cookies, seasonal themed cake slices, and other pastries like cannolis and non-chocolate brownies. They also sell dog toys, treats, collars, and other accessories. I will be returning many more times in the future!

Yelp
Three Dog Bakery is awesome! My dogs love their treats and I do too because they are so cute. My favorite are the treats that look like hotdogs and I love purchasing the huge personalized dog bone as gifts for my friends' dogs. Awesome bakery and staff. They always love meeting my dogs and answer our questions about the ingredients. Michael Burkey

Yelp
What a cute store! The man who helped me was so nice and helpful. I told him I was looking for treats for my puppy and he described many treats that would be good for both play and training. There is such a wide variety of treats and accessories in this store. I bought a "French fry" from the bakery case and a bag of mini cremes. I will definitely be back with my dog!

Yelp
It's no doubt I'm a crazy dog lady (and a crazy cat lady but that's another issue altogether). So when my dog's birthday was approaching I had to do something special. That something special? Get a cake from Three Dog Bakery! See, they have lots of cookies, treats, etc (all baked in house) but they also have three different larger sized cakes to choose from. I selected the smallest of the three cakes, a peanut butter flavored bone shaped delight. They even wrote Oliver's name on it and threw in a party hat to boot. It was really effing adorable. He's a peanut butter fiend (seriously, the rest of the world disappears when I put a spoonful in his Kong) so I was so excited to give it to him. Sure enough he LOVED it. I had to take it away from him so he wouldn't go overboard. We also managed to score a few treat boxes for some "gifts" for the little guy as well. They also carry collars, some clothes, a few toys, etc. Staff here is super nice, they've got a great location in downtown Plymouth, and, while the prices are a bit steep, it's perfect for a once and a while splurge.

Yelp
Just got an adorable cake for my dog Ace two days ago. It was the vanilla flavored birthday one. Ace really enjoyed it and I plan on getting another one of these cakes for him next year. Very cute bakery in Plymouth and definitely highly recommend for your dog.

Yelp
Omg love this place!! Found through Yelp! I got the dog bone shaped peanut butter cake. And even a hat!! It came frozen so that way it lasts! So you just it thaw out a little then ta-da. My dog LOVED IT. I even got his name on the cake. They had such great customer service and were really helpful. Will order from again!

Yelp
My dogs love their treats & their birthday cakes are awesome! I loved that they saved my dogs information in their system and gave me a call this year asking if I wanted to order again(of course I did!) Can't wait to take him in again to pick up some treats too!

Yelp
Went here to order my puppy his first birthday cake. Walked out with two handle bags of goodies. Very friendly staff, excellent service. I highly recommend this place to spoil your fur baby!

Yelp
Such cute things for the pups. The kids who work here are very nice and kind. Came here once before and an older gentleman wasn't very welcoming . Love the cute variety of choices for the fur baby

Yelp
Love this place. We made a stop just to get some treats for our pup's 10th birthday. It's been many years since we've been coming here. From birthday cakes to ice cream to cookies and ice pops for pups. My pup, and human pups both enjoyed our trip here.

Yelp
Based on my experience last week I absolutely had to update my review. Came here on the 18th as it was my dog's first birthday and I knew I wanted to get her a cake. Walk in there and my dog is crazy excited to be surrounded by the toys and treats. There was only one woman working there and making some really tasty looking treats. She compliments on how pretty my dog is *blush* and asks me if I needed any help. I let her know I wanted to get my dog a cake and hopefully write her name on it, as if my dog actually cares. She shows me my options and naturally I pick the biggest cake you could get. She proceeds to write "Happy Birthday Kikka" on the carrot cake bone shaped cake but the carob wasn't doing what she wanted so she continued to work on it until it met her standards. I loved that! While it took a bit to get the cake in order my dog enjoyed being able to pick out her new toy and rawhide. My dog loved all her birthday treats and it was fun to give her the cake. Although pricey ($25 for the big cake) I'll be back next year for bday cake #2.

Ociel T.

Yelp
The bakery worker was so helpful and answered all my questions. The treats and birthday cake look delicious!

Brittany S.

Yelp
My husband and I love this store! The employees there are all very nice and welcoming. We buy our dog food from there, now, so we go in there once every other month or so. It's a little expensive, but the food we get from there seems to have solved our dog's allergies/anal glad problems, so it's worth it. Our dogs absolutely love all of the little treats we get from there.

Yelp
I love stopping by here when I'm shopping in downtown Plymouth. The treats and fresh baked doggie cookies look super cute! They have a great bakery display with all kinds of treats, cookies and even doggie cakes. They offer some really cool dog toys and accessories as well. I would love to buy more from them, as they have a really good selection of dog items and treats, but sometimes the prices seem little bit high. I'll usually get my dog the treats or the rawhide from here. The only issue I have with this place is that the treats give my dog some stinky ass gas! So as much as I like this place, treats from here are given on a minimal basis for the sake of my nose and air quality at home!

Deb S.

Yelp
Great place and a must-visit for all dog lovers. The guy at the counter was super helpful, friendly and courteous. Everyone should take their fur friend to some paw licking delicious baked goodies here!

Yelp
My dog loved his peanut butter birthday cake. :)

Yelp
My pup Coop loved the place when we lived in the area. (at that time he was a puppy under a year old) Great treats to spoil your pup, and I love their selection of food dishes. I bought mine there long before I even adopted Cooper, and he STILL uses them to this day. :-)

Yelp
I picked up a dog cake for my dog's birthday last week. I forgot to plan ahead but they had a few premade in the freezer. My dogs absolutely loved the cake, and we shared it with the neighborhood dogs. My only complaint was the price. I felt it was pretty expensive for how little cake there was. But despite that I'll definitely be back. Perhaps next time I'll stick to the treats instead.

Yelp
Got my dog a tear resistant toy in April. It's still in good shape. No tears or anything. I love three dog bakery. I'm happy there's one in Michigan too!
google avatar

Claire C.

Yelp
So cute!! I hadn't been here before but as a die-hard dog lover I was tempted to check it out with one of my girl friends. They have cute and high-quality dog clothes and toys but are known for their dog treats and cakes. I casually mentioned my little dog's tendency to tear toys up and was impressed by the sales associate's knowledge of their products as she pointed out a few toys that were specially stitches to last longer. My dog is also really picky when it comes to treats and food, sticking her nose up at many of the crunchy treats carried by most pet stores but she loved the doggie ice cream (which was mousse like, not frozen). I will be excited to go back for her birthday!

Yelp
Omg i love that dogs have their own heaven. It's nice to have somewhere to bring the fur babies and people actually love them.

Daniel F.

Yelp
The best store in downtown Plymouth, heard a child said the young blond lady was 'the nicest lady who works in a pet store'. Staff are all personable and ready to assist you. Our dog gives the store a "paws up" too.

Yelp
I first went to Three Dog Bakery during the Plymouth Art in the Park and it was an amazing experience. The woman behind the counter was knowledgeable about the product, friendly, and very helpful. I purchased some human grade dog food in bulk and a small sample bag of baked lite dog food. My pets love it! The shop offers other dog baked treats and accessories. This store is a must stop for any pet lover.

Yelp
I'd give this place a 5 star review, but the attitude of the employees ticked me off. My dogs loved coming here to sniff the goodies and check out the toys. Unfortunately my dog lifted his leg and peed on a leash rack. I asked for paper towel to clean it up and apologized. The girl who worked there said she would take care of it which was very nice. However the other lady mentioned, "This is why we like to have owners keep their dogs close to them and encourage them to go outside first before coming in." She also told me that they just finished mopping the floors. I was a bit put off by the comments since my dogs were close to me, (it's a small bakery) they did pee outside before coming in and I'm sorry, but like kids, dogs have accidents. This is why I offered to clean it up. The comments were totally unnecessary since the first two were just assumptions. All in all the dogs had a great experience which was what our trip was all about. They didn't get any free samples like the other dogs there did, but maybe you have to ask for them. My dogs did get some really nice braided peanut butter rawhides, Barkscotti, Snickerpoodles, Barkaroons and other cute fancy goodies. They use carob not chocolate in some of the cookies which is a nice alternative for the dogs. Also the treats have no sodium, are low fat and are sweetened with apple sauce.

Yelp
DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE! -I have been a loyal costumer for over a year. I bought my dog a toy this week. When I got home, I noticed it was ripped. I took it back the next day. To my surprise, they would NOT back their product. -When I confrunted the manager she was very rude and claimed the toy a bought was a play toy, not a chew toy. When I informed her that my dog had not even played with the toy, she stated that there was nothing she could do. WHAT A JOKE! DON'T BUY ANYTHING AT THREE DOG BAKERY! Plymouth, Michigan

Yelp
Cute place with a nice variety of treats and goodies. Perhaps my bulldog is spoiled but she turns her nose up at ANYTHING I offer her from TDB. She thought the biscotti was going to be good and actually took it...but immediately spit it out...like I'm trying to poison her!! I've personally tasted every treat and they do have a staleness about them. 2 stars for cuteness and variety.

Yelp
My daughter and I decided to surprise our Sparky( a spoiled Chihuahua) on his 9th birthday and taken him to this bakery. His nose went crazy from the time we walked through the door!! The workers greeted us with smiles and was very helpful and offered Sparky a treat. We ended up getting him a Drooly Dream bar(peanut butter flavoring) , some strawberry cremes, and a Pupcake Red Velvet. Sounds like I should of order me something, oops its a dog store I had to remember. We were debating on getting him a personalized cake, they sell them there as well but we will wait until his 10th Bday. So, we went home put on Sparky's bday hat and set him at the table, song happy bday and let him tear up his Drooly Dream Bar!! He absolutely LOVED it!! And that is why I gave Three Dog Bakery 5 stars!! All of the bakery items are HEALTY made from HEALTY ingredients!!
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
The staff is so rude, last time in the person behind the counter did not even turn around to greet us. In a store that is full of stuff you really don't need its easy to leave without buying anything..........

Amanda C.

Yelp
Very poor service. Wasn't welcomed upon entering the store. Pulling teeth to get them to answer my questions. Unable to comment on the quality of product as I left because the older gentleman made me feel stupid when asking questions.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Very good service and selection. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Their dog toys are virtually indestructible so worth the little extra you have to pay. Their antler bones are my dogs favorites too. I like that they use fun flavors like peanut butter, apple, and carob for the dog treats. I give these as gifts to other friends with dogs !

Yelp
This is a great place to get fresh hand made dog treats. My dog really goes crazy for their treats. We buy her birthday cake from here every year.

Ngoc N.

Yelp
Love this little store, so cute and nice. Especially my dog loves the food here. I take my dog here once every 3 weeks!

Yelp
i agree with the other person on here who said the employees have an attitude. i know exactly who she is referring to because ive noticed that, too. i went in there because i had thought they overcharged me for something and instead of being understanding and patient this person was very rude and impatient. she made me feel inferior and acted as if i was the idiot. the last few times weve been in there, she just hides behind the counter and doesnt come out to say hello. i dont know how they stay in business, theres never anyone in there. this person definitely does not have business person skills and because of what happened with her attitude with me, never again will i go there. she has lost a customer that had been going there since they opened.
