I have been wanting to come here for quite a while and it did not disappoint! I had the vegan/gluten-free "crab" cakes which were wonderful. They had a great texture and flavor. They were also baked which was nice. There are a number of gluten free options and frozen options to take home. I brought a pizza home to have for dinner which had a nice thin, crispy crust and lots of flavor! I look forward to going back when I am in the area.

This is one of my favorite vegan spots in the whole country. I make the trek here from NYC about once a year. Our favorites are the belissimo, the ruben, ceasar salad and the mac n cheese balls. The homemade mozz is iconic and one of their best creations. We got the lasagna for the first time and it was really good with a fresh and bright tomato sauce. The tiramisu is good, but not a traditional one. It had more of a cheesecake consistency. Highly recommend the 7 layer bar. Keep three girls vegan around please they’re so good

I can’t think of a single good reason why this place came so recommended to us. My friend and I drove 1.5 hours from massachusetts to try this spot, as we were craving some comfort food and a day trip. We had placed an online order at 10am for pickup at 1:30pm. Well, it wasn’t ready for at least another 20-30 minutes after we got there. By the time the food arrived, we were starving. We were so excited to try it, but the food was absolutely pitiful. I had ordered garlic knots and the meatball sandwich. The garlic knots were stale, tough, and hard to eat. They weren’t soft and pillowy as you would expect, and they tasted at least a day old. The meatball sandwich was pathetic. I was expecting a meatball sub, but instead, it was ONE MEATBALL in between a small piece of bread. The bread was soggy and the whole thing was inedible. Also, the prices were ridiculous. For $17, I’d expect a more substantial and tasty sandwich. And for $17, I’d at least expect more than one meatball. We are two vegans who eat clean, and only have “vegan junk food” for special occasions. The oil from this restaurant wrecked our stomachs for the rest of the day. And we didn’t even finish a single item that we ordered. We felt so queasy and had to “walk it off”. In addition to the slow service, the high prices, and the gross food, there was also zero ambience to this restaurant. It’s basically a “grab and go” place, which we did not know. Every surface is white and sterile (there’s only one picture on the wall). There’s also no bathroom. If you’re waiting for your food for 30 minutes, you shouldn’t have to go across the street to pee at mcdonald’s. It is not a very welcoming environment that you would want to dine at. I’ve been to dozens of vegan restaurants around the country, and I really cannot think of a worse vegan restaurant than this one. I’m not sure what people see in this place. We left this restaurant with our wallets emptied, our time wasted, and our stomachs nauseous. I wouldn’t bother going here.

There are no words for how amazing this place is. Let me state that I’ve been vegan for many years, traveled to a LOT of vegan places & Three Girls is in my top 3 BEST vegan food spots hands down. I travel for work but always make a pit stop here when in CT. The food here is to die for. 😬✨ Anything you can think of- but vegan! Comfort food. Italian style foods. Desserts. You name it. I love that they rotate what they offer menu wise. They are worth every penny. You are paying for good, home made vegan goodness. Fresh. Mind blowing delicious! I love everything here. The cutlet sandwhich is always a hit. I also got their vegan Mac & cheese bites which are MASSIVE! Their portions are huge so you will DEFF have left overs of their goodness! Staff is kind & welcoming! Store front is clean & beautiful. They have a couple indoor tables as well as outdoor tables if you choose to eat there!

I had always heard great things about Three Girls Vegan, but wow was I blown away! I’m not vegan and typically am not super into vegan foods, but hearing the hype about this spot peaked my interest. I have to say, I honestly would not have known that any of this food was vegan if I hadn’t been told. To say I was blown away was an understatement! The lasagna and sauce from here was better than I’ve had at some regular Italian restaurants, and I was so impressed by the variety of tempting desserts they had in their case. They were doing a great takeout business when we went for lunch on a weekend, and we appreciated that they had a couple tables to eat at since we came from so far. I’ve been recommending this spot to all of my vegan friends and can confidently say this was all the best vegan food I’ve ever had!

I ordered the eggplant parm sandwich to go. It was large enough to serve as my lunch with a bit left over for dinner. It was incredibly delicious - the eggplant, focaccia bread, and cheese/sauce were all so tasty, I can’t stop thinking about that sandwich I had a month ago. Service was very slow, so be sure to order in advance.

Google
Everything here is craveworthy. The BBQ Chicken pizza is perfection and continues to be my #1 order - best pizza I've ever had vegan or not. The garlic knots are big and fluffy and just like what I remember from non-vegan pizza runs. Prices are very reasonable reflecting the fact that everything, everything is made in house and also the portions. I thought the garlic knots being 9 dollars sounded a bit pricey but then I saw how big they were. Absolutely worth it. I placed my order in advance online for curbside pickup and it was ready at the time I requested with the usual cute hearts written on the boxes, even though it was a Saturday in the summer. You can also go in. Pictured is the clamstrip and onion rings platter as well as the BBQ chicken pizza. Could not ask for anything more!

Google
Bangin vegan food, my go to for occasions. I don't normally leave reviews... meatball calzone is good value is good af. Cannoli fire. Chicken sandwich fire. But I Saw all the negative reviews and feel bad. I've never had any issues. The owner has gone out her way for me personally.. if people had an issue with the timing its because this place is fire, they are a small business and it takes time to make good food 🙄 just place order some time in advance, pickup time before you plan to arrive.. you can always call. I wait 15+ min at dutchess after ordering a fry, doesnt mean i 1 star dutchess. people just have no chill.

Yelp
I love Three Girls Vegan! They've definitely gotten better service wise now that we're out of that 6-feet apart phase in our lives. Though, I vowed never to come back after a few poor visits a long time ago, I'm glad I didn't keep that promise. Now that the cafe is open to the public again, things are running smoothly and it's nice to be able to interact with the staff. The food here is AMAZING. I'm not personally vegan but the menu items can easily turn anyone into a vegan. I'm currently learning how to recreate some of these recipes. I live in NC so when we drive to CT, Three Girls Vegan is a must-visit. Some of my favorite options are: the "clam" strips, chik'n bowl with mashed potatoes (it recreates the KFC bowl really well), Caesar salad, eggplant pesto rolls, and the chocolate donuts. I love going in after picking up my to-go order waiting outside because their bakery section isn't on the online menu, so I might add a few extra desserts while I'm there. The inside is cute, minimally decorated, but welcoming. There are a few tables inside but seating is mostly outside. I always look forward to my next roadtrip to CT because Three Girls Vegan will always be on that list of places I need to visit before going home. Yes, there is a location in SC but I have yet to go.

Yelp
Three Girls Vegan Creamy is 100% Vegan They have turned a number of Classic Italian dishes and more - into Modern Vegan Classic Dishes. Everything on the menu hits the mark without fail in my estimation. It appears their "meats" are made of a variety of ingredients including, vital wheat gluten, beets , mushrooms,, chickpeas, black beans, flax seeds - great ingredients all. It comes across wonderfully with great flavor, tenderness and mouthfeel. All cheeses are made in-house from nuts and are excellent. On a recent visit (just after a break-in) we had the Eggplant parmigiana on a delicious focaccia. Great choice! Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich on a pretzel bun - I will be eating that again - the "chicken" texture leans toward meaty, not super dense, very good, with a mild appealing flavor. The buffalo sauce had a kick though not overly intense and the ranch dressing was very good. We love the lasagna and chicken pot pie there are a couple in our freezer. Whenever we go we buy several different frozen meals to take home. The Tuna salad is so worth it - made from sunflower seeds. Although I haven't seen the clam strips on the menu lately, if actual clam strips are a former indulgence, eat these if they are available- ridiculously good. Calzones, various pizzas, delicious meatballs and sausage and crab cakes- get in line (or online) already! We normally order online on our way to the restaurant - seating is limited to a couple of 4 seat tables inside and a pair of two seaters outside - our food is hot and ready or close to ready when we get there. A while back they had a bakery in another part of town - loved it! Closed now but they offer a number of desserts in the restaurant. Recent offerings: Rainbow sprinkle brownies - classic fudge brownie style. They we offering samples, tried one, loved it, decided to order a couple to take home after eating our food but someone walked in and bought the entire tray. So, we had a very good 7 Layer Bar and Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Frosting - also very good. Once upon a time they sold the most amazing clone of a raspberry "pop tart" so much better than the "real" thing. Bursting with jam. It has disappeared though, I know not why... The staff is very friendly, the interior is very clean, well lit and nothing fancy. Lemon, Lime and Grapefruit Spindrift in the fridge. You can also order amazing holiday dishes online for delivery around the country-maybe beyond. Whatever your diet there is a chance you'll find something enjoyable here. Worth the price - this food is artisan Vegan at its finest.

Yelp
A trip to Guilford around lunchtime (and hunger) led me to check out Three Girls Vegan Creamery. I had heard many good things about this spot but had not made the effort to visit- and AFTER visiting I'm sad that it took me too long to visit. The storefront is small and there are not very many seats inside (I visited during a pretty cold Saturday) but they do a brisk takeout business. I am not vegan BUT I do have vegan friends and know how difficult it is to find a place to eat with friends where you are not forced to order a salad or tacos. Three Girls Vegan does have those BUT so much more. In addition to their menu they also have some amazing pizza and baked good which were too good to be true. My husband ( a self proclaimed meat eater) also raved about our lunch. Vegan or Not - you should add Three Girls Vegan Creamery to your CT Food list

Yelp
The eggplant pesto rolls were incredibly delicious. $19 for six rolls. Would definitely get again!

Yelp
We rolled up to Three Girls on a holiday weekend but it was empty, so we ordered the touted lasagna rolls and I had an eggplant parm sandwich, my daughter a sausage & pepper sandwich, and my hubs a meatball parm sandwich all to go as the few tables inside aren't really meant to eat at. The lasagna rolls were the highlight for me. I didn't like the sauce in them or on my eggplant sandwich very chunky tomato sauce the vegan cheese however was amazing, and the fry bread delish. My hubs thought his meatballs should have been sliced in the sandwich as you couldn't eat it like a true meatball sub but instead like an open face sandwich. My daughter enjoyed her sausage but also not the sauce. The variety of selection for anyone vegetarian or vegan is vast which is always a welcome change. The prices are high but this is to be expected for specialty food items and for its location on the Guilford shoreline. We also tried a cupcake which was just ok, honestly my niece makes prettier more yummy gf vegan cupcakes but this venue is really shining in options and we would return again.

Yelp
Three Girls...what happened?? Two heirloom pizzas, yellow one from today, and the other I believe is from your website, but is exactly like what I got last year. I was so excited to get another, at least something like the awesome one I'd had before, but big disappointment. I couldn't even pick up two of the slices from today's, as it was mush in the center, had to use a fork! And I paid for all of that dry crust! My daughter was also disappointed with the GF crust on her pizza, she said she thinks it's a different recipe. Again I ask, what happened??

Teresa C.

Yelp
I have been going here for years and always loved the bakery. The baked goods used to look professional and beautiful. They now look homemade and have a much smaller selection. I went last week and got the carrot cake and chocolate cupcakes and they were nothing like they used to be. They were dry and flavorless. With a price point of $5.50 per cupcake, I would expect better than this. I was so disappointed!!

Yelp
I cannot believe how different the offerings were on a recent visit compared to two years ago, when I felt compelled to leave a 5-star review! While I can say that the counter staff was polite, I have to note that I initially left feedback on instagram, where my concerns were straight up deleted. Yes, they offered to "remake" my pizza" but that is not a convenient or one-sized fits all solution to offer. I have also seen them try to offer this resolution to others - so this is an ongoing problem. I had ordered a gluten free pizza that was supposed to include red peppers and basil. It barely had any red pepper and nary a leaf of basil was present. The photos of this pizza on their website must be from a different pizza, because the anemic pizza that I was given paled in comparison. I am accustomed to gluten free options leaving much to be desired, but the last time I had their gf pizza, it was great. I feel like they are cutting corners and not being honest, and deleting my concerns was adding insult to injury. A loved one also ordered a meatball sandwich (all of this was to go) and we were shocked to open the container later and find one meatball floating around some sauce in a large, rectangular cardboard container. The option to have the bread separate from the meatball was nice, but what a weird and sloppy packaging option. We also got a slice each of a lemon loaf and a gf chocolate banana bread. The only flavor in the lemon loaf was in the icing and the chocolate banana bread was sour. Inedible. For the cost and quality of their offerings, this was just all a very shocking experience. We won't be returning. This place is giving veganism a bad name. I wish I had taken photos, especially since they thought it was good business to delete concerns instead of offer a refund. It also speaks volumes for the owner to throw an employee under the bus when given a poor review - who is in charge of training new employees, or maintaining quality control? You can't just blame staff, not even new staff. It has also been very obvious that people associated with this business have tried to request to connect with me on Instagram and that is weird, creepy, bully behavior.

Yelp
My partner has been wanting to come here for a while so it worked out that we could stop on our travels. The costs of food was a bit pricey but the portions were large so it made sense. The server was super friendly and welcomed us. We decided to eat-in. What was shocking is that there's the ability to eat in but there's no restrooms for patrons. We were instructed to walk over to the McDonalds. It took a while for the food to come out but we were excited when it arrived. We got the crispy spicy chicken and a personal pizza. The pizza had a gluten free crust which was described to me at delicious and it looked great. They allowed her to customers the pizza. It lacked flavor which was disappointing. The sandwich came on a pretzel bun and the chicken patty (which I wasn't expecting a patty) was much larger than the bun. The chicken lacked flavor and was not that crispy. The spicy came from a sauce which tops the chicken. We also grabbed some dessert: the tiramisu which was less of a tiramisu and more like a custard type of cake. The flavor of espresso and the thick middle of the wafers were absent. It was still VERY good. I grabbed a donut. Chocolate on chocolate was all they offered. The cake was moist, maybe a little pasty but great flavor. My biggest issue with the donut is that instead of a frosting it was a thick harden shell of chocolate on the donut. I'm not sure what that is, but it's not a donut. Overall, it's a cute tiny spot in a quiet plaza with a friendly staff, great natural lighting, very limited seating, large portions but need seasoning.

Yelp
This place is banging! I had the eggplant rollatini and it was awesome. Flavorful, tasted just like the real thing. Cheese was wonderful, and I normally hate vegan cheese. The picture doesn't do it justice. I just ate it at work and I am very happy!

Yelp
This meal was average, and the service was unabashedly bad. What Three Girls does is effectively operate as a pick-up stop/kitchen, with no interest in serving those who want a sit-down dining experience. While there are two tables with four chairs each inside, there is no semblance of sit-down service; your order is handed to you in a paper bag, no utensils are provided, and the place quite literally does not meet the constraints of a restaurant -- there is no bathroom! I found the employees to be hostile and overprotective of what was a haphazard experience. They have a bunch of outdated paper menus lying around, and their focus is not on walk-in take-out orders either; they seemed to be behind on their online orders and they definitely do not invest in front of house. It was never explained that in-restaurant dining is discouraged, and it seems weird to me that they would have tables and chairs (as opposed to benches) when they don't want you there! It's also really overpriced for what it is, considering the lack of service. The food itself was OK -- I got the crab cake burger. It was good, save the lettuce piece that was overwhelmingly massive inside of it. It came with a side salad that was really lazy. It had tomatoes and strawberries with balsamic dressing, but the strawberries were halved with the leaves still on. That's sloppy and does not go at all with the crab cake (made from artichoke hearts). The burger/sandwich/whatever was good; I was really hungry, and it did the job. I'm sure that maybe their desserts and cheeses are good, and this place has rave reviews from VegNews and IG follows from lots of prominent vegan chefs (Chloe Coscarelli, Isa Chandra Moskowitz). Their influence helped me land at Three Girls today, but I see no reason to ever return.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a long time. It's a vegan place that serves mostly Italian-style food. They offer only curbside pick-up. Their weekend menu is extensive but on other days they offer only limited items/frozen stuff. I have tried a variety of items here and what I like (loved) the most are eggplant pesto rolls, onion rings, and the guacamole they served with the burger. The eggplant calzone I tried was okay-ish. The most disappointing experience was the guacamole burger. I have no idea why it tasted so bad. I was so disappointed that it ended up in my trash that too after spending $16. I am still rating them 4 as I really loved some of the things here and will be returning to try the other items on the menu especially because there aren't many vegan food options nearby. The orders are always ready on time and I like the way they pack the food.

Yelp
So yummy! Love this spot! The food portion is big so come hungry! The service is so great! Our cashier was the sweetest. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I love this place so much. My friends and I try to go when we can make the trip. The food is soooo good, and the DESSERTS! I had a citrus donut there that rocked my world. Delicious and unique. Lucky to have this spot in Connecticut. Keep it up!

Lynsey K.

Yelp
The food is excellent but the wait time for it is not. Today I had an order put in that was supposed to be ready for 12:15. I get there around 12:20ish and it's still not ready so I go out to my car and wait and then it's finally ready around 1:00. I think that's kind of ridiculous for a wait if the online service says your pick up time is a certain time that you pick. They should change their online system or do something else because it clearly is not working.

Yelp
Please read this from a former employee before you support this restaurant who is quick to comment and bully anyone who reviews them but does not address many of the genuine complaints they receive. So much for being a "compassionate vegan company". Quoted from a public Facebook group below: "As someone who was employed by TGV through 2 holidays, I can attest to the fact that they gaslight & scare their staff, often leaving them without the proper tools to handle such high volume. One Easter pick up day, I was actually sobbing trying to get orders to our very angry customers. I know I will get heat for this, but I think it's worth noting that they have been historically horrific to their employees, and most of us feel terrible about the way we were treated. I've been in the restaurant/hospitality business for over 15 years, and theirs was one of the worst businesses I've ever been a part of. I am a long time vegan, and want to support anyone trying to add to our community, but it really helps to be decent human beings. Thank you for this post, I think it takes a lot of courage to speak up about things like this. Merry Christmas vegan friends!"

Yelp
I've supported Three Girls Vegan Creamery business from the start when they did a Pop up at Compassionfest, through their first location and at both of the newer locations. I've spent a few thousands on their food. They don't like to hear about unhappy customers when they mess up an order. Believe me, it has happened quite a few times. Although I did let them know about the mistakes, it didn't deter me from continuing to order from them. Some of the issues were : Ordered a Broccoli and Cheese Soup served in a Bread Bowl. They ran out of Bread Bowl but didn't tell me ( that was the only reason I was ordering it). Nor was I given a credit for not receiving the bread bowl. Ordered a Mozzarella en Carrozza Sandwich to heat at home. The picture showed a container of sauce to dip it in. Well, no sauce was given. When I questioned it, they said that they only give sauce if you order it to be heated. I didn't have sauce at home, so I had an added cost to buy some. I ordered an Eggplant Sandwich on Ciabatta Bread, but they made it on a Fried Dough. These problems were brought to their attention. Also, recently I went to the Downtown location and purchased some baked goods. I paid in cash. It came out to exactly $25. I did message them to question how it could be an exact amount, no taxes, etc. Their response was that they don't have any change in the cash drawer, so they round down in the customers favor. What about all the tax revenue the State is losing out on? One of my recent orders, I was sent via Door Dash, the wrong soup. They were out of stock on what I ordered. Without my consent, they gave me an entirely different one. When I called to question this, they first said to take it up with DoorDash. Why should I fault the delivery when it was Three Girls that made the decision to give me a different food item. After going back and forth with this via phone calls and emails, they finally agreed that I could come by and pick up another soup. Mind you, it was over $17. for the White Bean Soup that I originally ordered. I kept on checking their website, but that particular Soup had not been back on the menu, so I waited a while longer. It was almost a month, and it still wasn't featured. I decided to call again and ask for a $17 credit so I could get something else. The other soups they were making did not appeal to me. I ended up on the phone with one of the owners. She started out pretty nasty, saying that they gave me enough time to get another soup. I tried to tell the owner, Tracy, that I was waiting for the White Bean Soup as that is what I originally ordered. She went on about how long it takes to wash the Escarole, how it takes 4 days to make, etc. During our conversation, she was swearing, dropping the F-Bomb more than 20 times. She said that I'm never happy with the food, that I complained about it a lot, etc. I'm not sure what she wants customers to do when their orders are wrong. She was yelling and angry the whole time we were speaking. Finally, she said, "Come and get your soup, but then don't come back." "We are not a good match.Think of it as a break up" "Go on with your life, but don't come back here" After being a loyal customer for years, bringing the mistakes to their attention got me banned from their business. Unbelievable!

Yelp
I have an egg and dairy allergy and this place made me want to buy everything inside. They are extremely nice and welcoming and if I had to choose between the tiramisu and my left foot, I would need crutches. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I make the drive to Guilford for Three Girls Vegan Creamery and Downtown as often as I possibly can, if I'm anywhere near Guilford I always make a stop for some sweets. Three Girls Vegan has delicious food and the employees there have always been extremely kind. It's disheartening to see people complain about petty things in their reviews, not every place has the capacity to 'wait on you' this is a small, family owned business. To me, the main focus is always how delicious the food is. There truly is no other place like this, Three Girls Vegan offers a unique delicious vegan experience. If you appreciate wonderful next level vegan food you'll love this place.

Yelp
I'd preface this review by saying that I am not vegan, but I enjoy the food here. My wife (also not vegan) is a big enough fan that we try to plan a stop whenever passing through. We both find the food to be delicious, and like to try new menu items each time. In fact, today we made a special trip up from Stamford, about an hour trip each direction, just to get their food one more time before we move even farther away. When we arrived back home we noticed our bag was missing the cupcake. Not a huge deal but my wife contacted the owners who promptly apologized and issued a refund...of 50¢. Apparently the cupcakes are technically a free part of the meal, so we were given 50¢ to feel better. Again, not a big deal but it's an odd strategy to make the customer feel better. Even though they're delicious, I'd generally rate them 4 stars due to them being pricey, and also because we have had to wait upwards of 30 minutes past our scheduled pickup time the last few visits (but today was on time so that could be a thing of the past). I'd say my last few visits have been average, but my wife might rate it higher.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the staff were the best! Totally worth the drive from Long Island just to try it! We had the friend chicken with mashed potatoes, the lasagna and added 2 meatballs and also the really good "marble" cake (?) 100% recommended!

Yelp
Still offering curbside but I'm sorry to say quality control fell off in a major way. The pictures on their IG and website are so unlike what you actually receive that you start questioning reality. I noted hints of this in my last review but now it's gotten to the point where I can no longer recommend TGV. A month ago (around the time of the first Dutch's popup) I had the mashed potato pizza because it looked amazing on IG. It was a weekly special, what I received was an overly layered, starchy, gloopy mess of fake cheese and over-mixed potatoes that had congealed to this awful jelly like mess that tasted terrible. There was barely any bacon and I threw the entire meal away. I thought it was a fluke because I previously had good experiences so I told myself that maybe they had an off day. Today I went back because they had a one day only special of prosciutto and ricotta pizza and again, it looked great on IG. As noted in my previous review, I liked their prosciutto and peach pizza, so I braved impending rain to get some. I also picked up the sausage and peppers pizza after eyeing it for some time and seeing reviews that it looked legit and some apple cider donuts. The ricotta on both pies had a weird alkaline aftertaste, the sausage had very little salt. The layering on top of both pizzas was thick, like the mashed potato pizza I had earlier last month, and the crust was extremely thick (even thicker than I had noted last time), like it wasn't rolled out enough. It was a lot to eat but it wasn't terrible. What really made me and my friends laugh were the donuts. We had assumed the donuts had been fried, but if they had been baked that wouldn't have been an issue had the batter been poured correctly and I wasn't given a weird muffin donut hybrid. Comparing what I received with the picture on the site should give you a nice laugh. The flavor was ok, it was well spiced, but a bit too sweet to finish one doughnut in a sitting. Honestly, I know not everyone in the business went to fancy culinary schools, nor should they, but the importance of presentation and taste cannot be stressed enough. It feels like TGV reverted to like a level 1.5 Epicurious chef's skill of cooking, and to pay over $40 for a meal that I could have made myself is a bit insulting. They showed no pride in the meal they served today and it was honestly embarrassing. I wouldn't have served this to anyone for a dinner party, let alone sell it to customers. As they say, fool me once... I won't be back again. Good luck to you, TGV.

Yelp
Love love love this place! Beside the vegan standards they have many gluten free option which is spectacular for my wheat and dairy intolerant daughter. I send her home with a cooler full of lasagna, pizza and cake! Can't say enough good things about it. Heard Lizzo put in a big order last time she was in CT

Yelp
The Bellisimo is my go to when I come here. It's a vegan chicken cutlet, roasted red peppers, and vegan mozzarella,on pesto fried dough. All of it is made in house & delicious! I drive almost an hr to get here & it's well worth the trip.

Yelp
I've been going to Three Girls since they were doing pop-ups in Clinton. I went this weekend and was so disappointed! Usually their portions are gigantic so my boyfriend and I shared the Eggplant Broccoli Rabe sub. Not only did it taste a little "off", but we were hungry after because it was so much smaller! I've ordered it a few times before and could never finish it. It came with a very small handful of potato chips. Also, for the first time ever, the place was empty. Very sad. Not sure I'll be back, since it's an hour drive anyway.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and the buffalo wings w/ tater tots and it was amazing! The employee was very friendly and even asked customers what kind of music to put on. The mozzarella pearls looked so authentic it was hard to believe they were plant-based! I highly recommend to anyone (vegan or not), the food is delicious!

Yelp
My dad ordered this as a special treat for us, as we've been drooling over your food photos for months. In all earnestness, I don't know if this is some serious false advertising or the product was expired. But they advertise this beautiful vegan pastrami that looks delicate and flaky and pink and we received a chunk of dry, brownish gray seitan type meat substitute. It wasn't the worst meat substitute I've had (wasn't very good either) but I feel pretty misled after thinking I was receiving something similar to the picture. We also tried their homemade poptarts. The first bite I took was just the flaky crust. And it accomplished flaky--but it tasted very savory. There was 0 sweetness to the pastry portion and it honestly tasted kind of salty/a little garlic-like. This was the first thing we tried and it was not exposed to anything like garlic or salt. We left them in the container all individually wrapped. Once I got to the center, the filling and frosting tasted good, but the crust portion was truly not very tasty. We really wanted to love this but it missed the mark.

Yelp
Unorganized! Understaffed! Did holiday preorder for pick up at 11am. It's 1pm, and I'm still waiting outside in the cold. Why schedule a time for pickup when it's not going to be ready?

Yelp
OMG GUYS!!! You have to come eat here! I never had vegan food that tasted so good in my life. I'm a vegetarian that loves vegan food and let me tell you it was everything you can ask for. The food quality & portion is phenomenal! I find it so cute they write your name on your bag when you curbside pick-up your order! Thank you once again! I'll definitely return very soon!

Yelp
I ordered mac and cheese balls and eggplant rollatini. The mac and cheese balls were pretty good but I'm pretty sure I must have been given the wrong food because the eggplant rollatini was awful. I found no eggplant and the inside of this looked like shredded chicken...and the flavor was not very good. It came with a buffalo sauce? I'm not sure if I would come back here because the food is VERY pricey for what I got and I am discarding the rollatini. I was hoping this would be a good place to get dinners for the busy days but....I'm out.

Yelp
I've been vegan for 14 years and have tried a lot of restaurants but this is by far my favorite. The scalloped potatoes were amazing!!! I also tried Buffalo cauliflower and some desserts. Will be making another 3 hour drive to come back for sure!

Yelp
Three Girls is a rare treat for me! My favorite is the Bellisimo sandwich, followed by close runner-ups, the Lasagna and Chicken & Eggplant Sub.

Yelp
We enjoyed various lunch items and desserts. Everything was amazing! So much flavor. These chocolate tart with caramel was to die for!

Yelp
Totally not raw and healthy which is my preferred way of eating but it was amazing. So glad I stopped! And glad it can give G Zen and their erratic energy a run for the money. It's convenient off 95 and in a strip mall with loads of parking. Seating is very limited so plan accordingly or take what you order to the beach as everything arrives in to go containers anyhow. It was moderately hard for me to order as I wanted something light and the caprese salad was sold out. I opted for gluten free lasagna and a slice of birthday cake figuring I'd just turn today into my treat day. Omg was the food fantastic. To die for. The lasagna was so creamy and so large it'll be at least two, if not three, meals for me. I had my birthday cake while waiting - any of the desserts in the case looked incredible and I nearly got the pop tart which another reviewer applauded but the sprinkles and any birthday cake bring me joy. It kinda reminded me of Real Foods Daily in Santa Monica when I first started eating vegan food. It was so exciting to see all the foods you thought you'd have to give up on the menu. If this place were in a major city, I bet lines would go around the block. So, at the moment, you've got Bloodroot in Bridgeport, this in Guilford and then Karma in Mystic for your i95 veg travel recommendations. Places not mentioned are intentionally omitted.

Yelp
Wonderful vegan food. I also enjoy their shipping option to send gifts to my children. Their holiday offerings are tasty and enjoyed by all - vegan or not !!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately, it's a no for me. The take and bake chicken pot pie was gelatinous and tasted old. The frozen lasagna was just ok. It didn't have enough sauce and was reminiscent of a bargain frozen meal from the grocery store. Me & my husband samples their chipotle cheddar and it was terrible. No flavor, oily, waxy. And that's confusing, because their specialty i thought, is vegan cheese. The first visit we got the chicken bucket. The chicken and tater tots were good but the biscuit wasn't. It was hard, crumbly, dry and tasted old. The 2nd time we got the chicken bucket both the chicken and biscuit were cold in the middle. We had to take it home and cook it to temp. The biscuit was horrible and the chicken suffered because of the additional cooking. I could be wrong, but this place gives me the impression they pre make and freeze ALL of their food. Including what's consumed at their location and take out. If that's what they're selling, that's fine. But tell people that. Please don't charge fresh prepared food prices if it's not fresh prepared. You're simply reheating cooked/frozen food. I do feel they are overpriced, I can't go back.

Yelp
To start this review, I am not a vegan. I went here after many people, vegan and not, raved about it. I ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, lasagna eggrolls, pizza and wings. I was very excited but honestly not impressed. Again, it could be because I am not a vegan but I thought most of it was very greasy. Also, have everyone the smelliest gas.

Yelp
Really delicious vegan fare! I haven't had a clam strip in several years, and this was a smash. My 14 month old was obsessed with the creamy sauce and kept dipping things in it We also had the buffalo cauliflower which wasn't spicy at all, it was tasty but wouldn't say buffalo. The size of the caulis was perfect. Partner had the bellisimo cutlet sandwich and wouldn't shush about the cutlet. If you're looking for raw and healthy, look elsewhere. But if you're veggie or vegan looking for delicious kinda greasy sandwiches, 3 Girls is a must visit. We got a bunch of goodies to try at home including the cinnamon buns, ricotta pie and crab cakes. Apparently we got the last rolls, so you may want to come early or call ahead for some items in the case. Seems like the reason for the line is because everyone does the same thing and spends tons of money for hot food + take home 1:30pm on a Sunday and it was about 5mins to order and 10mins for food.

Yelp
Right now I wish I could add 5 more stars to this review! Three girls vegan is the absolute best vegan food I've ever tasted. The women behind the magic (aka recipes) creates meals that will make your taste buds dance. You can check them out on IG too, there's always scrumptious meal pics that will impress you. My husband and I ordered the chicken eggplant sandwich & crabmeat sandwich with a salad; we also sampled a few customer favorites; and LOVED IT ALL! If you're looking for a place that is casual and offers delicious vegan, GF, & plant based options, bookmark this restaurant & head to Guilford!

Yelp
We were blown away to find such an amazing vegan spot so close to my husbands parents house! When we got there on Sunday the line was out the door. Made me so happy to see as a vegan. The food was better than we could've ever imagined. There's no way on the planet you'll Ever miss the taste of meat at this place. Husband had the bbq cauliflower bites and I had GF lasagna w meatballs. The portions were so big we had to take the rest to go. If you're in the area and are vegan, vegetarian or just looking to try something new and hugely beneficial to your health and the planet, you Must check this place out!! Btw they have Delicious desserts too.

Yelp
So, my wife was craving some 3 Girls Vegan on Sunday, so we packed up the kids and took a drive. I was kind of reluctant because of the last time I was there because of the price to portion ratio, but I gave in. We got there and the line was out the door again which we didn't mind, but they now have a girl who comes out and takes your order so it's ready by the time you get to the register. (+) My wife wanted the clam strips, but I told her they might be sold out bring it was noon. They were, but it was expected. So we then ordered the "Bacon cheeseburger", meatball sub, chicken parm. Yo... these things were off the hook!!!! The portions were huge! The flavors were perfect, and so filling. I haven't eaten a real burger in years, I was in a food coma before I even left the parking lot after I ate the burger. The Meatball sub, had 4 large "meatballs" on a soft grinder roll, the prices were comparative to what I'd expect to pay for an entree at a restaurant. (+) I have no complaints this time. Very friendly staff, and plenty of help in the kitchen.

Yelp
driven up from Rhode Island a few times to have lunch here, it's heavy sometimes greasy, but tasty vegan fare, not health food but I wouldn't drive 90 min each way for sprouts either, I can eat healthy at home. The eggplant, mozz, rabe and red peppers sandwich is delicious, only complaint they could season the eggplant a bit more. I've had the clam strips, eggplant/chicken on fried dough sandwich (what a belly bomb!), a piece of my gf's friend chicken bucket, and one of the chicken sandwiches before it's all a nice treat on a day trip. The staff can get overwhelmed by the amount of orders and so there's a wait past when they say your food will be ready sometimes, but be patient it's worth it!

Yelp
So I had this great idea to drive 2.5 hrs from NYC to Connecticut just to try some vegan food from Three girls vegan (TGV). And it was a great idea the whole time I was praying the food would be good and to be honest I had high expectation, most of the time when you go into a place with expectation it usually doesn't go well. But not TGV, everything was piping hot freshly made just on time for pickup. I ordered: Tiramisu 10/10 (better than any regular tiramisu) Bellisimo 10/10 ( smells divine) Clam Apizza 9/10 ( oregano oil, oyster mushrooms ) Pretzel with 3 sauces esp. "secret sauce" 100/10 I also ordered pesto eggplant rolls and my carnivorous picky eater friend was mind blown by the vegan cheese used in the rolls and that's saying a lot! Never been to a place where am finding it hard to dislike anything. It was pricey but the portions were big I ordered for two people but end up sharing with four. I literally asked them to sell that "secret sauce", in a jar or a tub because I'll buy it. It was like crack you have one bite and you want more!! I was literally dipping anything I could find lol. The owner said she dreamt about the recipe and she needs to continue to dream more delicious recipe coz am here for it! So if you are ever in Connecticut or just passing by check this amazing place out. Also, sorry for lack of pictures I literally inhaled everything lol.

Yelp
My cousins and I drove almost 100 miles to try Three Girls Vegan food, it was worth the trip! We had so much good food, before we went to the downtown restaurant for dessert. We met the owner, a lovely woman that told us how they came to be. We are already planning our next trip!

Yelp
Three Girls is hands down the best food I've ever had, vegan or not. The restaurant is about an hour drive from me, but I've made the trip several times to get their amazing food and to share it with my friends. Every time I go there, their food is so incredible that it can easily fool an omnivore (more on that later) and the portions are HUGE. If you're able to control yourself and NOT eat until you're about to pop (good luck), you easily have enough left over for another meal (and sometimes more). I got married this weekend and the obvious choice for a caterer was Three Girls. Tracy, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful in explaining what my options were (they can basically do any dish you ask for) and how many portions to get for the number of guests I had attending. She also included the catering setups for me, which made preparation way less stressful. My family went to pick up the food on the morning of my wedding and were very impressed with how helpful the staff were. They brought out all of the trays and helped load them into the car. Setup was easy because heating instructions were provided. The guests (none of them were vegan) were extremely impressed with the food! People kept telling me how amazing it was! My dad, who is kind of meat-obsessed had low expectations for a vegan meal, but ended up LOVING all of the food. As he came up for a second helping he told me he was wrong and that the food was REALLY good. If it can impress my dad, you know it's got to be amazing! We were given a suggested range for the number of servings to purchase and I went with the larger portions because I was nervous about feeding everyone, but when you order with Three Girls you get A LOT of food. Even though people got second and third helpings, I ended up with a ton of leftovers. I think I still would have had a bunch left over even if I had gotten the smallest portions of everything. I am super happy about this though because it means I don't have to cook for several days and keep getting to eat this delicious food! Thank you Three Girls for making my wedding extra special! I will keep coming back again and again!

Yelp
We drove from Boston to CT a few weeks ago, for a hike with a bunch of friends, and to finally try food from 3 Girls. I think we ordered nearly everything on the menu, and it was all great! Favorites were the clam strips, buff cauliflower, fried chicken, and eggplant/chicken parm sandwich. As I ate all the yummy, wheat based food, I did find myself wishing for some greens.. but the ice cream cake my friend brought home made up for the lack of veggies! One star is off for the terribly rude service. We arrived early to pick up our order and were basically yelled at by the pink haired girl. We knew we were a little early and weren't expecting our order to be ready early, but were hoping to purchase some extras from the case to bring home. If this wasn't okay, i think there are kinder, more professional ways to communicate this. My friends who are local to CT always raved about the kindness of the folks who work here, so maybe it was just an off day?
