The Three Horseshoes, Lickfold

We travelled 50 minutes over to this beautiful pub today, off the back of a recommendation. What a fantastic country pub. The menu was fully loaded, the atmosphere was warm, the staff were super friendly, fantastic service and the food spoke for itself. A delicious pink sirloin of beef roast dinner with all the bells and whistles. We will definitely be looking to come back to try the Honeycomb and Sticky Toffee pudding, we were quite simply too full to eat anything else, after a delicious bread and olives board was enjoyed, whilst we waited for our Sunday lunch. When you turn up to a venue that secluded and the car park is overflowing, you know you’re in for a treat! Thanks very much guys!

We recently visited The Three horseshoes which is beautifully situated in the English countryside. Immediately greeted with a warm welcome by Charlotte and Darcy. Excellent food - fish and chips, atmosphere and staff with brilliant service. Will definitely be back with friends! thankyou very much ladies ☺️

Lovely pub been here various times over the past 5 years. I’ve never felt like an unreasonable customer but I almost did today. Being Christmas (and in addition to their regular menu) they’re offering a festive menu - 2 or 3 courses. I only wanted the main course of turkey ballottine, so I suggested paying the highest amount of any individual main, or whatever they suggested. This was a problem - they wanted to sell 2 courses or nothing. I could not understand the lack of foresight ‘computer says no…’ mentality. Even a high street chain is more flexible than this. But I pushed it and the manager eventually checked with the chef who of course said it was fine. I think mangers need to remember than reasonable flexibility is important the hospitality trade. Anyway, the food was delicious, fantastic seats by the fire and the staff were actually very nice. This is a great countryside pub and I’d have given 5 stars aside from the issue mentioned. Good with dogs too! 🐕

Not only is this a beautiful pub that thinks about all the fine details down to a very beautiful loo roll holder and roaring fire. The staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming 😌 the food was also absolutely delicious, probably by far the best meal I've had out in a long time! I can't wait to go back!! I would highly recommend! I would also like to add that they can make a very impressive espresso martini ! What a lovely post valentine's Day treat

Came nearby for a hike and was searching around for a local pub to find this gem. Food was incredible, ordered the pork belly and every aspect of the dish was cooked perfectly well. Really incredible flavours, this was done perfectly. Stayed for dessert and ordered sticky toffee pudding which also was done well. Highly recommended. Came for a Sunday roast and was very good again, not disappointed, amazing Coconut and Sweet Potato soup, also had a Sunday roast which was done brilliantly, Perfectly cooked beef and Yorkshire pudding - Needed slightly more Jus, the roast potato could have been more fluffy and crispier, but overall amazingly great taste. Definitely a favourite! Great atmosphere inside and outside and friendly staff.

Visit fairly regularly and the food has always been good, standard fare, nothing pretentious and just done well. The service is pleasant and meets the expectations of the type of pub/restaurant. The inglenook fires provide a cosy atmosphere and we were not rushed out the door and had plenty of time for a good chat with family and friends.

On a grey wet lunchtime in November it was wonderful to find a warm welcome, a roaring fire, terrific landlord (and playlist) and a pub lunch that completely hit the spot. Highly recommended.

Very nice pub. Staff very attentive, food very well presented and tasty, nice atmosphere too with the roaring fire going. Will definitely be back.
