Three Lions Denver

This is my favorite soccer bar in Denver. They have good English food and a fun atmosphere for big games. Because the place is large and rectangular the sight lines are still good when the place is crowded. The wait staff get overwhelmed at times during big games but that’s almost part of the atmosphere.

This place is great, but has taken a noticeable down turn over the last 6 months. We only stop in periodically anymore. The energy just isn't the same. Bartenders have moved on, and new management seems less enthusiastic about this place being a daily go to. We use to love coming here on a daily basis and for special sporting events... lack luster. Even the beer taps feel the neglect... 3 empty taps because the kegs are kicked and there isn't anything to replace them. LPC management needs to take notice.

The Three Lions has a nice atmosphere. At the end of day it is a pub with pub food. I was happy to get a London Pride with my fish and chips. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hummus plate was.

Love the place, I just have a question. Where is the pic(s) of Cristiano when he used to play for Manchester, or any pics. Of him.

Came in and sat down at an empty bar. Waited 20 minutes and sign of life, no bartender, not a soul. Several patrons at the bar so not sure what was going on. Ridiculous.

Great for soccer sporting events.. and F1 race events. Great selection of beers and breakfast [irish]. Great soccer themed decorations, however, the service is lacking a bit, you might wait a while for someone to serve you and bring your check. It's a seat your self place... so I can see where the slow service is. Great for a pleasant visit.

I'm probably not the best person to review- I don't enjoy watching sports, and I don't drink beer. Fun atmosphere. Live music. Everyone seemed to be having fun. Their food menu was quite interesting. I was impressed with what they had to offer. Better than most bars.

Not a bad joint, and the best neighborhood bar around this area of Colfax, but it's always empty when there's not a big soccer game on. Kind of feels like it doesn't live up to its potential. If they cleaned it up a little and marketed themselves to a larger audience, and got better food, it could really be a special place. But for now I'll settle on the really unique Euro beers (London Pride on tap), super cheap food and pool table.
