Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Charleston | Eater Carolinas

"Find Three Little Birds Cafe tucked behind the Earth Fare in West Ashley. This adorable eatery offers plenty of breakfast and lunch options for those not eating meat. For example, there’s the classic tofu and veggie scramble or sweet potato Benedict in the morning and a barbecue tempeh melt in the afternoon (plus other offerings)." - Erin Perkins

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were super excited to find that Three Little Birds Café offers gluten-free options — both of my children are gluten-free, so this was such a wonderful surprise! My daughter loved her yogurt and fruit parfait — it was huge, beautifully layered with fresh fruit, and made her day. My son enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and said the gluten-free bread was delicious. I had the mushroom omelette, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The café itself is small but cozy, the service was friendly and attentive, and we really appreciate that they use fresh, “for the table” ingredients. We’ll definitely be back! The food was absolutely delicious! I was a little bummed at how few strawberries were on the stuffed French toast, but there were plenty inside! My husband enjoyed the apple pancakes and same can be said for those: the batter contained little bits of apple. Very delicious! Would eat here again. The service was efficient, if not a little rushed, but I was thankful to not have to ask for boxes or the check.

Carrie is amazing. Our service was 10 out of 10 stars. She also let us know about half portions of pancakes and French toast which was a game changer. Fresh squeezed juice/smoothies and amazing food.

Fantastic breakfast cafe hidden behind a shopping mall! The space is small, so expect a wait. But the food was amazing! Breakfast classics taste as they should- but the strawberry stuffed challah French toast was a showstopper. Never had anything like it. Huge fan! Would happily come back here.

Fresh And tasty, small colorful Cafe. Always popular among locals. It's a great place to meet a friend for lunch.

Went here for an early Saturday breakfast. It is a darling little cafe. We were seated right away. Our server brought coffee for the hubs - which he said was very good. He ordered pancakes and bacon. I had a few bites and whatever syrup they use is especially good. I had the eggs in a basket with a small salad. Both were delicious! We had good service and we appreciated how professional she was.

Great little brunch spot overall. Solid menu variety along with quick service. The food was delicious and the portions were pretty good for the price. The art on the walls adds tremendously to its atmosphere as a little local spot.

Great option for breakfast or brunch! Tucked back behind Earth Fare, a good option if you don’t feel like waiting in the ridiculous line for Miller’s All Day and probably just as good. Ample parking (massive lot). Forewarning - do not serve Booze.
