A cozy spot with great ambiance and a VHS player with a ton of old VHS tapes. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the selection was excellent. I really enjoyed the music selection as well, very 90s peace punk vibes. Definitely going to visit again!

I am new to Oly and found this place serendipitously on a bike ride. Great beer choices, excellent friendly service and live music on Sundays in summer! I got to perch on a comfy couch by a vintage TV and play a movieI picked out, on VHS! I honestly haven’t used a VCR since about 1992 so that’s fun. Be kind, rewind! Highly recommend this place.

This was a cool and eclectic bar with pretty good beer. Dog friendly inside and outside! There were two food trucks outside. They have an older tv, vcr and a bunch of vhs tapes that you can sit and watch which is a neat idea! I really enjoyed my time here and glad I stopped by!

Food wasn't anything outstanding. Great selection of beer and nice atmosphere. Specifically we loved that the burger Buns were home made and they are a nice smaller size. Clam chowder wasn't anything special but nice and chunky. The chickpea bowl was a good size but overall a bit dry. The mushroom burger was good but also a bit dry.

Stopped in on my way to Bellingham. I was lucky enough to be able to talk to who may have been an owner but I think was definitely a brewer. Got a flight and they gave me some more samples......including a few of their NA options! Very impressed with the beer and highly recommend this location! The brewery and server allowed me to talk their ears off...soooooo kind:) Cheers!

I liked the place and they had a good number of beers but wasn't impressed with the specials that night and the food was very expensive! I tried three of the beers and liked them, the Rain IPA, little juice IPA and the High Road IPA... Unfortunately the High Road wasn't on tap but it was good. The food was good but seemed really expensive, it seems this place also does catering so that may account for it. The staff was nice but not really attentive, you don't order beers from the bar like most Breweries so in that way it seem more like a restaurant. It took them a while to find us, but the service improved. Overall I liked it.

This place is a gem! Tucked away off the street in downtown Oly, the atmosphere and service match the brews: high quality. When announcing 'I'm new' the help immediately began pouring me tastes until I found the right choice for me. They have a great resource for downtown food online (a great primer) a very nice patio, a comfortable 'working taproom' feeling with malt bags hanging from the ceiling... And best of all, very tasty beers with unique twists on solid style pedigree. Take beer to go, bring your own food, whatever. Three Magnets is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Fresh and colorful flavors, and a kitschy drink selection had me enjoying this beautiful sunny lunch date all the more as we enjoyed the outdoor seating option (indoor was also available). We tried the pork belly tacos and bucatini primavera with grilled chicken and both were great! Wasn’t as much of a fan of the cheese dip, but the other snacks and shareables looked worth trying. The sparkling lemonade was perfect for this warm summer day:)

Great little spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Bands outside and food trucks. We sat at the bar and ordered a flight of beer to try some different styles. Bartender was great, beer was good, loved this spot. Stained glass artwork behind the bar was cool.

I'm currently sitting at Three Magnets with a schooner of their Self Care festbier, so I maybe biased, but this is one of my favorite places in Olympia. Not bars, not pubs...places, period. Their beer selection reliably has something for everyone, and their non-alcoholic line (the aforementioned Self Care) is unparalleled, at least regionally. The Taproom is dog- and kid-friendly, with a spacious patio, food trucks, and regular feature events. And the staff are all super friendly. The only downside is uncomfortable seating, but that's clearly not a deterrent. Basically if you haven't been to Three Magnets, you're missing out!

Not many options for food but there's a really good burger food truck outside and you can bring their food in. Lots of unique beers and German beer on tap. Perfect stop for sports bar experience.

Really enjoyed this place! It was hard to find from the street because it faces a parking structure but I'm so glad I did find it! Lots of seating outside with inside having bar seating, long high top communal tables and a few lower tables for groups of 4ish. The staff were so lovely and made great recommendations. We were pleased to know they make non alcoholic beer and refer to them as self care options. My husband couldn't believe he was drinking a hazy ipa non alcoholic beer! And they had even more to choose from! When we were there, the Seahawks were playing and there were only. A few people inside. A great option when you're annoyed with the over crowded sports bar scene. There was only one food truck which we didn't try but the worker there said any outside food is welcome. They do sell snacks such as candy, chips, nuts, microwave ramen, etc. I really liked it here and will be back soon!

Great beer in a chill brewery! Very nice decor with a super interesting stained glass wall above the taps. The beer selection is pretty broad with a bunch of IPAs, as well as some neat German styles that you don't see too often.

Loved this place! Their is a beer for everyone and the servers are so great. Good vibes and has a food truck always rotating which keeps it interesting. It's great for kids with a lot of space and things to color.

Widest selection on Non-alcoholic beers that we've seen at a craft brewery so far. Both NA beers on tap were delicious (a red and a pale ale), and there was also a good selection of NA cans to choose from. Multiple food trucks out front to choose from for food options. I've had their regular beers in the past and those are also tasty.

I'm pretty shocked this is only 3.5 stars. The food here is really great. The beer is really great. The atmosphere is awesome, there's parking, the staff is super friendly - it's a whole vibe. I really love their Mojo Bowls (chicken or carnitas) - it's a healthy portion and deliciuos. And their Scherler pilsner is great. The cheese curds (I think they call them moonrocks) are must-get. They offer GF buns and dairy-free cheese. There is plenty of bar and tall top seating, regular small tables and a large covered patio. In the summer they do live music on the hill behind the brewery and they are big Sounders fans and watch all those games - as well as anything else that is important to the patrons. Truly a really good spot in town.

Really enjoyed their wild mushroom miso burger. Has a excellent texture and love the use of grains and oats while not sacrificing space for tons of mushrooms. Would definitely recommend

Great selection of beers and games to go with. We enjoyed our stop here. They even have non-alcoholic beers and snacks. Plus a food truck out front. Definitely worth checking out. Unique

This is a great locals pub that has survived the pandemic by cutting out its food menu and bringing in a very solid Indian-fusion food truck to fill the gap. If you are from out of town and coming here with expectations beyond what you would have for your own favorite hometown pub, I don't know what to tell you. Go eat at the marina. This is a brewery with very high standards for their beer. Come here for the beer and games and no b.s. vibe or go somewhere else. And, yes, their non-alcoholic beers are some of the best I've tried (on par with Athletic).

Cool location downtown near the courthouse. Indoor and outdoor seating is avail. Indoor seating is a mix of traditional tables and communal long tables... it was a little dark but I suspect it was the time of day and such. Had the fish and chips... hell yeah!!! 3 generous Cod Portions and hand cut fries... the starter sauce was pretty dang tasty as well. The server was very friendly and attentive. She knew the menu and her service was spot on. I think this place likely hops at lunch and in the evenings. If I'm not off my mark... the owners owned/own Darby's which was featured at another location on DDD but has since been absorbed here as they had to compress their interests due to a Budding fam. All said... I'd certainly recommend and eat here again. Kept kicking it folks.

Great brew pub. Plenty of beers to choose from and a nice menu. Food was great. We had the beer cheese soup with salad and the fish and chips. Soup per my wife, was awesome one of the best she has had. Fish and chips where great. Beer Batter was very good. Make sure and check out the stained glass above the bar. It was an original piece from the Olympia beer brewery. Pretty cool piece.

Good spot to have a bite to eat or a cold beverage on a hot summer day with social distancing! They have about 10 picnic tables setup all over the back of the restaurant/brewery that fit 6-8 people each. The contactless ordering and pickup system is easy and efficient. It was nice to be able to enjoy what they have to offer outside properly distanced from other groups. Someday we will enjoy the inside but for now this is a great alternative!

Been coming for years. The location is great, good seating outdoors and in. Nice brewery. Food is very dicey. We've been here dozens of times, and something alway comes out black (charred), cold, or raw. There is no basic quality control. Do not expect to get good food here. Doesn't matter if it's slow or busy. Someone needs to train kitchen staff and train them again (and again) on basics. Ordered the Cuban today, the meat had been fried to a crisp, and the bun was literally black and hard as a brick. If it's black, don't send it out. Blood red with bloody juices flowing is not medium (a typical burger experience). Fries frozen in the middle are well, frozen. I'll still probably going to support the business because there's not much else in this town, honestly. So this is more of a plea. Management, please, train your kitchen staff.

waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get my food that's 1 hour and 20 minutes I could have been doing the whip nay nay. After the excruciating wait I finally got my food it was quit scrummy, overall good vibes saw a cute chihuahua, and I get that all the ingredients are locally sourced but quite pricey and not worth the wait. So in conclusion I gobbled the food up like gollum and his fish but the wait was like gollum waiting to get the ring

Food: I don't think I've ever had anything here that I didn't like. I've been for brunch and dinner and have always been happy with the food. For breakfast, the chicken and waffles and the burrito were a big hit. If you go for lunch/dinner you can't go wrong with the frites or the salmon bowl. I love the moonrocks but the portion is a bit small. Beer: Great beer selection and something for everyone. Service: Service can get a bit slow but they are generally friendly and attentive. Ambiance: Can get a bit loud during sporting events but it's a great place to come for a casual and relaxed meal. Can feel crowded inside at times, but it's great when it's warm outside and the patio seating is available. Overall: Recommend this to anyone looking for a place to eat or enjoy a good beer in Olympia!

Really enjoyed my visit, but a few misses. Each IPA was really tasty, but they only had a two. I would've loved a bit more selection. The patio was a great setting to drink in. The pickled veggies were really good; very pickled. The cheese curds however are a must pass; Panko crusted for some reason and hardly a hint of cheese in them, which is fine because it doesn't appear to be cheese curds, but just cheese. The pretzel was good, but the berry flavored mustard was gross. Not one person at our table could even tolerate the mustard. Great overall experiences, but some menu items I would definitely steer clear of.

Been here several times. Great variety of "their" beer and guest taps. This time I had the Cuban (again). Pork was great flavorful and mostly moist. The fries we really good too. Paired with a Double IPA. MMMmmmmm

We first came across this hidden gem while doing the "Sip-n-Stroll" in downtown Olympia. At that time we only saw the private event space but were impressed with the sampling of food & beer served for the sip-n-stroll. Recently we went back on our own and were pleasantly surprised with the vibe in the main restaurant space and I myself was overjoyed to find out they serve spirits!!!! I thought it was just beer/wine. We had eaten before we went because we expected it to have your standard bar menu, but now we can't wait to return to try out the menu...so many options...healthy and overindulgent!!

Came here for brunch today with a party of five. Arrived around 11am and we were seated right away. The food was good - the cheese beignets and French toast sticks were particularly good with the raspberry preserves. Our entrees were well prepared and tasty. I had the smoked salmon benedict, which had large portions of smoked salmon and perfectly cooked home fries. Service was good. Note - the entrees are all savory and there are no pancakes or otherwise sweet dishes. Overall, I recommend coming here for brunch if you like a savory breakfast and I plan to return next time I'm in town.

Really love the vibe of this place. Note: I have not read any of the other reviews. First of all, it's great beer. Happened to be traveling for work and realized it was close by so coming here was a no brainer. Upon entry it was so unassuming and just "find your way past the brewery to the noise in the taproom" that I couldn't help but smile. These are my people. The beer staff was fantastic in entertaining my questions and requests. FANTASTIC. The stained glass art showcasing the beautiful PNW above the bar was stunning. The smell of garlic kept me frisky the whole time I sat and sipped. I stumbled in (unbeknownst) on their anniversary and it was so unpretentious and perfect - the taps were unique and rare and nobody cared, it was busy and exciting but not snobby or exclusive. Again, without reading the reviews, I'm not sure why it only has 3 stars. I'm pretty happy with my experience. Obviously.

We went for lunch around 12:15pm on a Saturday and it was fairly quiet. You order and pay on your phone which I don't mind, makes it easy. Good beer and great food! We each tried one of the $3 pint specials. He had the hot chicken sandwich and I had the pork belly tacos. The 3 tacos were huge and so delicious!

They have plenty of parking but it's tiny cramped parking, if have bigger vehicle FYI. Had the Pompano burger and regular fries were mediocre at best, not remarkable. Yet, the burger more than made up for any lacking quality of fries, it was really amazing! The meat itself was very good and tender, wasn't dripping with grease, scrumptious. Only downside was more of a well done instead of medium burger, will adjust next time when order. Highly recommend this brew pub, plus, they have excellent non alcoholic beer!

I am in Olympia often with a daughter at Evergreen. I have been impressed with 3M after tasting their beers in cans when in Bend and at a bottle shop in Skagit. Although I was surprised to find the location tucked into an office building type of space. But when inside it feels cozy and community-minded. We Started with a beer flight and was impressed with the originality and experimentation! We had the wild salmon salad which was delish, the handmade veggie burger which surprised and delighted, and hubby had the chicken blt slider with heirloom tomatoes, fresh lettuce and tasty bacon. They had a special on 4pack pints to go!

This is strictly a review for their catering services. Chef Frank and Olivia were THE BEST vendors we worked with for our wedding this past weekend. They were so accommodating and understanding for all the constant changes we had to do due to COVID. They're extremely friendly, so easygoing, and incredibly professional and helpful. The food they made for our wedding was all custom and all of our guests said it was the delicious. Nothing was over cooked, everything was seasoned and dressed perfectly. We had plenty leftover too and it was all still tasty the day(s) after. We were seriously so impressed and happy with their catering services. We will absolutely be recommending them to others!! We're even making a special trip down from Seattle to Three Magnets Brewing in Olympia to pay them a visit.

The only positive I can say is they offer GF buns and dairy-free cheese for allergies. Service was subpar. The pistachio chicken salad looked amazing at first glance but tasted like I was drinking vinegar. The dressing was too strong and too much. My husbands pork belly tacos also tasted like vinegar and he could barely taste the meat. His fried chips were cold. The kids fries were too salty. We drank water so can't speak to the beer. My husband asked for a to-go container and received a very bad attitude as if it was a huge inconvenience. Felt dirty inside where we sat by the window. We won't be returning.

This brewery in underrated on Yelp. It seems many complain about the slow service, and I agree that this was a problem in the past. But Three Magnets has turned the corner and the service is now perfectly fine. I sincerely hope the low Yelp score doesn't deter you from giving this place a chance. Aside from service, the beer is quite good and the food is great. Full disclosure: the avo fries are bland, and I wouldn't order the shrimp & grits again. But the fries, burgers, chicken sliders, and salmon bowl are all excellent. Inside, I love the stained glass windows and cozy feel. And in warmer months, the patio is a great place for a post-work beer. Three Magnets is not a three-star brewery, and I hope the rating begins to more accurately reflect what it truly is.

The first time we visited 3 magnets was for dinner time. I cant speak to the dinner menu at this point, but i think our first experience was a bit of a fluke. Since then I have fallen head over heals for their beer and I think overall we have fallen in love with 3 Magents brewing. In the past 6 months I have had a multitude of 3 magnets beers. Starting with their standards and stretching as far as their special releases. I think they are on par with one of the best breweries in Washington. For some reason our first experience was tainted with a mediocre experience. Now i can think back on my state of mind of that day, It was a day of day drinking with friends watching horror movies. We had a friend from out of town that wanted to go line dancing and I had sour tummy, but wanted to visit a new brewery as I do. We saw the lunch menu that offered sandwiches and was disappointed we couldnt grab that. From then on I didnt want to drink much, and nothing sounded good to eat. My wife and friend grabbed some food and a flight to split. I think it was just a bad way to visit a new place that we didnt know much about. On this trip we had just spent 4 hours floating the river in tumwater. We were starving and tired. It was the perfect combination for an experience. The waiter was extremely friendly and the beer was amazing. i grabbed an IPA and I was going to fill up a grumpy, but my grump was smelling bad. For food I grabbed the jalapeno jam burger which was amazing!! The fries were good and the burger was dope!! One of our friends grabbed the avocado fries and those were pretty dope as well. Definitely enjoyed the beer and food!! Our experience this time completely changed our feelings on 3 mags. The food, the wait staff, the environment, the beer, everything was on point!! Definitely will visit again... Oh one small point, we got 2 burgers and 2 beers and it was around $50. Not terrible, but not amazingly priced as well. Just average to normal for a place like this. Similar price range to Mcminnimens and i would pay my Mcminnimens price for this place again!!

I don't know what the deal is with the poor and mediocre reviews - we went here recently and really enjoyed it. The area is a bit sketchy, but not terrible. Just something to be aware of. Once you get inside, the place is really cozy and casual. Several TVs play different sports matches, making it a nice place to have a few beers and watch a game. The beers we had were delicious - the Aroma of Tacoma was a notable standout and one of the best juicy ipas I've had in awhile. The big Tom's milkshake IPA was tasty too - not as bold as the Aroma, but still a satisfying drink. Can't speak much to the food as we only has their basic fries, which were decent at best. In all, we'd definitely come back! This was a great little find!

The brewery is operating under all COVID-19 regulations. They are doing a very good job with getting orders out for food and beer. The beer we had was okay and we didn't eat. I would recommend trying the brewery out, good outdoor seating, staff was friendly and very accommodating. I will being returning to the Brewery once they can seat people inside. The inside looks really cool and they have the rollup garage door to the outside which is always. I nice in the summer months. Note ordering is completely online which is good but if you want to try and get a few beers or a beer and then food you have to keep running your card. Not a big deal but for me was to much. Cheers!

Was alright. Good friend of mine, knifemaker Mareko Maumasi suggested the place. Nice big wide open space. We shared a plate of the cheese curd beignets, and they were tasty, but there was a berry topping on them that was not very flavor forward, so it sort of moistened the beignet and that was unnecessary. We each had a sausage, mine without bun, and it was very tasty...although I would have preferred a stone ground or dijon mustard, served on the side, so I could season as desired, fries were great! Our server was not on her game, and we were ready to leave about 10 minutes before we were FINALLY handed our check. I'd go back when in Olympia....for a glass of cider, but in my estimation, Trinacria is STILL the restaurant to beat in Olympia for food!

This is hands down our favorite place to eat in Olympia!! We stop in every time we are in town. Nashville chicken and the Salmon salad is a must have every time. This place has a warm vibe and great beer. We love Three Magnets

I can't believe I'm only now writing this review as I've been here a while back and loved my time here. They've got a great selection of local beers and a bunch of mixed drinks to choose from, and the food is super delicious, although a little on the pricey side for what it is, though I'm not complaining because it was definitely well worth it. The staff is super friendly which, if you've read any of my other reviews, you know how important that is to me. Even now with the current restrictions going on throughout the state, there's outdoor seating and you can order online very easily, so no worries about close contact. Definitely check this place out, you won't regret it.

I walked in here having absolutely no idea what to expect from them, and that's speaking as somebody who spends waaaay too much time reading about new breweries, special releases, and beer industry news. I don't know if they're under the radar, or there's just too much going on to keep up anymore, or whether it's because they've only just recently begun shipping kegs up north to the Seattle area, but all I knew about them was their name and address. Clearly, though, in the year they've been here, they've already built up a nice following and they know what they're doing for sure. They're right downtown, near the capitol (I say that like I know Olympia geography...forgive me if this area isn't considered close to the capitol). Even very early on a sunny day when most of the world was probably headed outside to recreate, they were already building up a steady stream of customers through the door. You can park on the street on one end, or in a decent-sized lot on the other. The parking lot enters on the bar, and the street side brings you into a medium-sized cluster of restaurant seating. In between the two, there's a kitchen and a brewhouse. The brewhouse looks sizable, with nice shiny new equipment, but it wasn't in operation on the Sunday we visited. The kitchen was bustling (plenty of staff all flying around at the start of the lunch hour), though. We wandered down to the bar. There's a big high bar with tall stools, a long barback, some communal highboy tables, and then a scattering of smaller tables. They have nice coasters and glassware, and the tables even have the company logo burned into the wood at regular intervals. Lots of full-custom construction everywhere you look. These guys got some cash from somewhere before they opened this place, that's for sure. They haven't even been around a year yet and they already look as nice as 90+% of the breweries around. Fortunately, the nice touches extend far beyond the superficial. The beers were all startlingly good, and not messing around with a garden-variety lineup, either. We had an APA, IPA, saison, table bier, pils, and kellerbier. They all had great flavors with real clarity and balance. Only the pils showed some off flavors, with the pilsner yeast throwing some esters that smelled (and tasted) like swimming pool toys. This is an easy mistake to make in brewing a pils (and it's not even a mistake, so much as it is a yeast by-product), and I'm sure they'll tidy this beer into lovely shape in short order. We didn't try the food at all, but the burgers cooking definitely smelled great. There were tons of families and small groups of friends coming in for meals and beers. It seems like this place has already found its niche. The staff are super friendly and nice, cheerfully answering questions with information that was helpful far beyond just addressing the specific questions we were asking, telling us all about the local beer scene and interesting details about the brewery. I like everything about this place (most importantly, the beer), and will definitely be back.

I liked the vibe and the wide variety of food and beers offered. It's also cool that part of the brewery is family friendly. This made it possible for us to stop in now that our group includes a baby. I love that Olympia businesses are so family friendly. On a Saturday night the vibe was still chill and nice for a spot to have a drink and catch up with friends. They also offer non alcoholic options like ginger soda and rootbeer which were definitely house made. I loved this since I don't drink if I'm driving. The rootbeer was crazy good. The best I've ever had. The only area I think they could pick it up a little was with the service. On the family friendly side we waited at the counter for quite awhile without getting any service. I ended up having to walk down to the other side to order my drink. Someone else had to order for my friend with the baby since she couldn't take the baby to the other side. So, awesome that they have a family friendly side, but it'd be even better if they better staffed that side. We definitely weren't the only people on that side either. I'd love to come back and try the beers that my friends really enjoyed. I'm definitely getting the rootbeer again too.

These folks are brewmasters of the highest quality. They are always crafting some new brewskis and they aren't afraid to get funky. I thought they had a slam dunk with their everything bagel beer but a true artist is never satisfied and they no longer have it on the menu. The sheer number of beers they have brewed is astonishing and I'm happy to keep popping a squat and trying the newest creation.

Kind & welcoming staff. Beer is on point. Really enjoyed the Juice Smoothie IPA, awesome. Ordered the fish & chips, ok but not awesome. Wife got the poutine w/ hangar steak and it was amazing! Visited with a 2year old, mid day weekend and no prob. They have coloring books.

Popped in here on our way back to Oregon on Boxing Day. Interested in checking out Olympia more as I look for places back in Washington to retire. Had a great selection of beer got to do a taster flight with a vast array of styles across the spectrum to really get a feel for how they stack up. I wasn't disappointed with any of them. My favorites were the Orange Treat, an Imperial Milk Stout, and their ESB, Oliver. We had just eaten lunch but snacked on a terrific pickled vegetable assortment that balanced quite nicely with our assortment of brews. Loved the feel of the tap room as well, kept the historic touches of the building with long, tables of good sturdy wood. If I retire to Olympia would definitely be in here quite a bit.

What's not to say about this Crazy brewing company that makes extremely fresh and vibrant cuisine from scratch? You tell me. We have pretty much tried every item on the regular menu like fried chicken sliders (crazy yummy) the house made burger with an amazing 3 mags fry sauce. pork belly sliders (no joke melted in my mouth that amazing) and fish n chips to name a few delicious bites. we have also tried the weekend brunches, I sugest you do as wel! Their spin on a chicken fried steak that isn't chicken at all but rather beef topped with an onion gravy is a super crazy and yummy spin on this traditional dish. Pretty much any item you try from here wont let you down, allmade from scratch and mouth watering delicious. They have a few cocktails that are handmade and very inventive as well as a crazy huge rotating beer line up. And I mean some down right crazy beers! If you get a chance swing on it and give this place a go. You'll be presently surprised! Bon Appetite Chef Michael

Three Magnets is one of my favorite spots in Olympia. Service can be a bit slow but the beers are awesome, and the pub style food is delicious. The restaurant is large with tons of seating. Food: The price of food here isn't cheap but it isn't overly expensive either. The fries are some of the best I've ever had and burgers and cheese curds are wonderful too. The Bahn Mi is good but a bit bland. The chipotle wings are amazing. I've never had the steak frites but I've seen it ordered and it looked BOMB. Chicken inferno frites is super tasty. It's heavy on the sauce which can be good or bad depending on your preference. As for appetizers, the pickled veggies are good but I'd go with the snack plate instead which comes with pickled veggies AND olives. Better bang for your buck. They have avocado fries which I've never tried but that's because they're always sold out so I'd recommend those if they're available. Finally, they have specials every day and on game days, but Monday's they have a burger and beer deal where you try an experimental burger and get a beer for $15 or 2 for $28. They sell out so go early(ish). Drinks: All of the beers on tap are good. There aren't a ton of options but I assume that's because the brewery is fairly new. They have a ton of IPAs (which is very PNW) and have incredible house made root beer! There are usually 2 guest taps from other brewers in the area.

Waited over 30 minutes for soggy and cold burgers and fries. I would not come back here. I've came here before and was great, but not anymore!!! Why pay for an 18.00 burger and fries when fast food joints can do better!

I drank a beer at the bar while I was waiting for a friend. The beer was okay, but I had to wait forever to get served, and I was sitting at the bar. They did serve me a schooner, so three stars for being okay.

Three Magnets Brewery Dale is the bar tender. He Was nice and helpful. He understands the beer and what the flavors do. Ratings 0-5 stars Triceratops- rhythm and rye ipa. ABV 6.5% Triceratops Brewing was supposed to open upstairs. They instead, chose to sell their micro-brews through Three Magnets downstairs. I like the fullness of this IPA. Enough bitterness due to the rye yet it has a smooth taste. ***** stars Chefs choice no 1 - rye porter - ABV 8.2%. this is a very interesting tasting beer. I know it has rye in it. There is a slight sweet taste too. The garlic and vanilla bean make this beer complex. Though different the flavors produce an imaginative combination. It has a decent finish that does not linger. ***** stars Because ghosts - urban farmhouse - ale ABV 6.2%. This is pretty flat. There is some bitterness. It reminds me Of a light lemonade without sugar. The beer grows on you. *** stars Rain rain rain - iiipa - ABV 12.2%. Can an IPA make you smile? This one can. Definitely a triple IPA. It is best tasted at room temperature. Great drink; Hoppy without being citricey. It just plain makes you happy. ****** stars

After having many of their beers in Tacoma, I was able to finally make a trip down to Olympia to visit their brewery/restaurant. I KNEW I loved their beer but I was extremely surprised with the quality of food. For brunch, as they serve breakfast until 2:00PM on the weekend (huge plus!), I had a breakfast carnitas borrito which was equally as good as the beer! This thing was massive - easily could feed two people. Amazing south sound brewery for the quality brews and now knowing their menu is as good as it is now, clinched my top seed south sound breweries.

Nice place! I love the burger taste! There was no bison :( which us what I really wanted. We also ordered a large Lemonade but there was no large glasses, which it was ok cause we could gotten refills, except the waitress never came back to refill it. Other than that, clean place and relax. I changed it to 3 because time to pay the bill. They didnt know which was our table, but there was only 2 busy tables. :/ parking was great.

We were so disappointed. This was our worst restaurant experience in years. We ordered food around 1:30 and it arrived around 3 for a table of four! The restaurant was not overly busy. Once the food did come is was over cooked, under seasoned (lacking flavor, acid, and salt!!) and made us nauseous from the amount and age of the fryer grease.

Beware! I sit outside routinely with my bird and drink beer. Me, not the bird. When he's had a few he likes to look for people he doesn't like and then poop on them. So, I try to either not take him with me when I'm in an outdoor area, or I limit him to only one beer. The great thing about when my bird does poop on some jerk, the staff is QUICKLY right there to offer a wet sanitized rag while surrounding patrons also offer their napkins. The staff always apologizes right away when they bring the wet rag. That's as far as the staff needs to do to remedy the situation. I always feel like when this happens that they care and are quick to remedy the situation. Seriously, the food here is AMAZING and the beer selection is always first rate. Always something for every taste and always plenty of gems that get tapped on the regular. Service is always friendly and fast. Highly recommend giving them a try.
