Great spot but brunch service was underwhelming. Three Monks Banana Split was the best dish (lived up to the hype). Loved their drink “Hibiscus Kiss”. Friend loved her white slushie. Their regular menu looked more appealing so I would come back for that during their evening service.

My friend and I decided to try this place on a Friday night and made a reservation for 7pm. Really love the vibe of the restaurant, it’s small and probably seats around 15-18 people comfortably. The only issue I had was that the seats were extremely uncomfortable. So for the food, we got the Edamame, Lumpia (Filipino Spring Rolls), Pork Inihaw (Filipino BBQ) and Mama’s Roasted Chicken Rice. My friend and I initially wanted to try Crispy Lechon Rice, but apparently they had sold the last one to table who had ordered before us. Everything tasted pretty good, the rice and spring rolls were a bit oily for my liking, but overall flavourful. For the drinks, my friend got the California (asked for it to be in the cat mug) and I got the A Rainy Day in New York. Drinks were okay, I definitely preferred my friends drink over mine. Service here was alright, it was only one server making drinks and taking orders. I had a good time with my friend, but I think this would be a one time experience for me.

If you’re looking for a brunch spot with unique menu items, definitely check out this spot. 😍✨ It’s an Asian-inspired restaurant with 70% of it’s menu being plant based. Their brunch menu is only offered on weekends but there is something for everyone whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or love meat! It has the cutest little patio in the back with 💜 purple flowers hanging from the top. Their brunch menu is quite small and it was definitely hard to pick what to order but we went with the popular Three Monks 🍌 Banana Split and the Hangover Hakka 🍜 Noodles to try something new. From the photos I’ve seen, I thought the Three Monks Banana Split would be a lot bigger but it was the perfect size as it’s quite filling. It’s such a unique combination with pineapple-bun breading pudding, caramelized bananas, tapiocas, coconut ube sauce and ube ice cream from iHaloKrunch. As for the Hakka Noodles, it was honestly really tasty. It was a bit spicy from the hot chilli sauce but it definitely had a nice creaminess to it! 🤤 We also got some drinks including the 🐱 Cat Collins and a Pina Colada Slush. I’m not a cat person but my drink came in a cute cat cup. I couldn’t even taste the alcohol in this, I loved the combination of kindred pineapple kombucha, lime and gin! 😍

Came here for dinner tonight with a friend. Got seated quickly but waited a while for our order to be taken and for food to come considering there were few tables on the patio. We received our first dish, the oysters but didn't get any cutlery or side plates. We waited a while and no one came back so I had to go ask for it inside the restaurant. Other than that the rest of the service was fine and food was amazing! We ordered: Oysters 1/2 dozen Crispy Calamari Ktown Supreme Fries Send Noods Pitcher of Mojito The Crispy Calamari was very unique, the batter was super crispy and flavor unlike anywhere else I've tried - and I order Calamari every time I see it on a menu! On top of that, if smelled amazing too! The Ktown Supreme Fries flavors are to die for and the fries were still crispy considering the toppings looked very wet. Send Noods came last and we were pretty full by then but also tasted amazing, noodle texture similar to Shanghai noodles but thinner! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a vegetarian noodle so much 😂 Overall food was amazing, would definitely come back and prices are so decent! The portions looked a bit small as they arrive but you get to order a bunch of things to try.

Really cute restaurant with a strong vegetarian menu. The food is all very social media friendly and delicious! In terms of carnivore food we had the Pineapple in the Pineapple Bun, which is a twist on the old classic Chinese bakery pineapple buns - very delicious. For veggies, we had the Send Noods - not too saucy and salty and quite satisfying as well. We also had this cool fried veggie dish in a taro basket. Overall the food and drinks are quite excellent although the restaurant is small so make reservations and support local!

So happy TikTok had advertised this restaurant. Such great food, easy going service staff- all in all a great experience. Not to mention the drinks were ADORABLE. Must have menu item would be the Lumpia (Filipino spring rolls) and Send Noods dishes, although the pineapple in a pineapple bun was just as amazing. So good. Will 100% be back.

Came here for my Birthday dinner and was blown away by the hospitality that chef Mark showed my wife and I. My wife and I literally enjoyed this queen west gem beyond measure and I will tell all my buddies to experience what three monks and duck has to offer. The food was outstanding and you can't go wrong with buck a shuck oysters! (Certain days of the week) Come here for the wonderful atmosphere, brilliant food. They got s little something for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. The drinks were awesome, varying selections of local beer and crafty cocktails....also they play great music and you catch some anime episodes playing from an HD wall projector. This place is something special and the vibe is super chill.

WHAT TO TRY?? In terms of food, the pork belly pineapple bun, the send noods, the MacDaddy salad, and the Green Bird's nest. In terms of drinks, the cocktails are yummy if you like a sweet taste to your alcohol. I especially liked the cat's lady and the bourbon cocktail. This restaurant is new on Queen St W and is a restaurant opened by founders of iHalo Krunch. It is across from Terroni and is a small, cozy space. The moment you go in your eyes would be drawn to the bar because the bar is facing the front. It's very chic looking and the bartender would immediately see you come in. There's some spots in the front and back of the restaurant but overall, very small space. Their whole goal with the restaurant is to create a space where friends with different dietary preferences can dine happily together. No one party needs to feel compromised with the taste and quality of food. I like the pork belly pineapple bun because the pineapple bun is made in house and it tasted very fresh. But one thing to note is that the pineapple buns are on the sweeter side so if you don't like the sweet and savoury combination of pineapple bun to pork belly, then you might not like this pineapple bun. The send noods miki noodle is a vegetarian dish. The noodles were very tasty and the noodles tasted al dante. Even though there was no meat, the dish didn't feel bland at all. Best part yet, it had mushrooms. YUMM. The MacDaddy salad was one of my favourite dishes of the evening. It must be the sauce they put on the salad. It's shiro miso vinaigrette - didn't taste sour at all. I also liked the sliced avocado on top and the croutons..which usually isn't my favorite part of a salad...became the favorite part. It was brioche croutons so it wasn't hard, very buttery and crumbled nicely when you bit into it. It made a simple salad very yummy and I wanted more of it even though I was sharing with my friends. The Green Bird's Nest will be a fan favourite too. It had fried cauliflower served in a fried taro nest with other vegetables. At first, I thought it looked like fried popcorn chicken but the cauliflower didn't taste oily at all. I liked the part where I had to break the nest. LAST TIP?! The bathrooms are also interesting...so you don't want to miss out what the bathroom looks like. You might want to grab a pic with the décor!

Love the story behind the name of this place - doggie named Duck for the win. Came here for brunch with friends and we made a mistake - my friends who aren't from Toronto declined the patio seating because they thought it was on the curb but really they had just renovated the beautiful back patio that we totally missed out on. We sat by our lonesome in the main entrance and I felt like celebs where they shut down the restaurant for us haha. I arrived late so didn't understand what was going on until much later. Food was decent but portions were a tad bit on the smaller side. Spice alert! If you can't handle spicy food be sure to let the server know because I don't think it was that obvious from the menu or elsewhere that the food would arrive with hot sauce all over. Still delish though! I got the more westerny brunch - eggs benny and zero complaints. The asiany selections we found the portions maybe smaller - was our judgment clouded by normal asian portions we enjoy elsewhere? My friends and I are all hakka so it was neat to check out and support a fellow hakka person's joint. I think we decided to dock 1 point only because the food wasn't amazing enough to draw us back for another visit but worth a try at least once if you are in the area.

Came for a private event and was greeted by a super cool bar area, cute drinks & an even cuter back patio! Drinks: Order a Malibu Barbie if you're into fruity refreshing drinks or Buddha on a Plane if you're looking for something on the stronger side ;) Food: - Lumpia (Filipino spring rolls): 4/5 this was nice and meaty and fried to perfection - Send Noods: 3.5/5 nice saucy noodles - Mamas Roasted Chicken Rice: 4.5/5 loved this dish! Great balance of flavoured with the rice and chicken The star of this restaurant has to be the delicious cute drinks that come in fun cups (for the gram!) Paired with the adorable back patio area that is perfect for a first date! Or any date ;)

Cute little spot. It does get quite busy so make sure you make reservations. Truthfully, the place wasn't good or bad either. It was just brunch. There really wasn't anything about it that stood out to me other than the manga wall near that back. In terms of food, it's nice to try to say you tried it but not exactly some place I'd care too much about to return to anytime soon. Like I said, nothing stood out of being unique, original, or memorable. The only thing I liked was that my eggs went runny unlike my friends. The people are friendly enough and I think they're a sister complaint with ihalo Krunch. I could be wrong so don't quote me exactly.

We had the edamame and taro chips and mauy Thai mocktail as well as the Hawaiian pineapple bread pudding with halo krunch ube ice cream that was phenomenal. It doesn't have a lot of seating so recommend a reservation. On the pricier side for not huge portions but good food!

Super cute bar in Queen West, love that they went all out on the theme. The bathroom's wallpaper is just endless rubber duckies staring at you which I found funny. They have coat hooks on the wall near the tables which was nice. Skip the green birds nest - I thought it had nice presentation but the flavour was lacking. Definitely get the chicken rice as it's so flavourful and tender. My friend who loves cha siu bao and bo lo bao liked their fusion version of the pineapple bun. I thought it was super cute that they served it in a pineapple shaped dish too. The crispy calamari was average - not amazing but not terrible.

Pretty dissappointed with my overall experience.... service was not great and the food was mediocre as well. I had booked a reservation at this place with a few friends excited to try some of their dishes. When we were seated, our server did not really provide any insight into the menu and was overall kind of rude, it really seemed like she wanted us out as soon as possible which was disappointing. Additionally, the brunch options were not the greatest. We got the eggs Benny which felt overpriced for what you were getting (just came with a choice of potatoes or salad I believe) and the Hakka noodles felt over cooked and kind of mushy :/ The only part I really enjoyed was the banana split -- this dish itself made up for a majority of the experience! Warm bread pudding with a caramelized banana and cold ube icecream for contrast. If you do go here, I would highly recommend this one item but also maybe give the dinner menu a shot!

Long story short: Delicious and reasonably priced! A new favourite of mine. Long story long: I've been eyeing this place for a while. The decor is so fun. Dark, but vibrant. Those Sailormoon scenes on the projector were such a fun nostalgic trip for me. The menu is one page, so you have limited options, but I thought it helped pick quickly. To be full, I would say you need to get a few items. For two people we got: the pineapple in the pineapple bun (tasty and filling, comes with 2), the crispy calamari (delicious, warm and fresh, none of that double frying taste!), the Xien Thit Bo/Xien Ga (beef skewers/chicken skewers - small portion, but beautiful marinade, so much flavour for both!), salt and pepper shrimp (also tasty and fresh), and finally, my absolute favourite, the Aspagarus Sabayon (egg emulsion). That dish was amazing, the emulsion was so fresh and clean tasting, there was some sort of acidity/tangyness that was so complimentary. I can't give and accurate description and I deeply regret not ordering 2. I kept eyeing my friend to see if I could snag the last asparagus and to my slight disappointment, we split it fairly. I also had the Muay Thai mocktail to drink - very refreshing. The staff are so friendly and they were attentive with our questions. The timing for food was reasonable. I learned that they also do private events and large groups for dinner too, although the front is a relatively smaller space. They also have a back patio that I believe is still going through some upgrades. I will 100% be back and bring more friends (and order two asparagus sabayon).

Nothing to write home about... Watered down asian flavours. If you know where to get the real stuff, then you're better off doing so. What it does give you is a cool atmosphere and good service along with some decent asian inspired food. I'm never a fan of making Asian food boring to fit in with a Western palate so I can't part with more stars than 3 for this place.

I think this is a cute drinks place. They project some cartoon clips on the wall. Very small space and washroom are down a flight of stairs.

Great Asian fusion food with a vibe. Their ceilings are decorated and they project throwback anime on the wall. Service is great. Menu is no longer vegetarian focused, which was fine with us. This is my third time here and I've seen Three Monks and a Duck try to pivot their offerings in the last 2 years to cater to the changing interests of the customer. I hope they continue to stay in business!

My friend and I were excited to try this brunch spot. This place's electricity bill is probably $5 a month - that's how dark it was. We chose a few items and turns out that we couldn't order from the regular menu on the weekend... okay.. why not mention that first then... The food was nothing to write home about and was pretty pricy for what we got. The 'three monks banana split' was a little expensive. The bread ended up being soggy and kind of hard to eat. Ube soup. 2.5/5 The 'hangover hakka noodles' were flavorless - I almost used the tears I shed to add some salt to it. 1/5 All in all, it was pretty unmemorable, probably a one-time experience.

The fun name of this restaurant caught my eye so we came here for a weekend brunch. We made a reservation online. We shared the noodles, which were amazing! We also have the taiwanese sausage breakfast but it was a bit heavy.

Food was good, presentation was cute, the boozy coconut is presented cutely with the shot of alcohol separate so you know you're getting the amount you paid for in case that was a concern . Some dishes like the noodle was a tad too salty for me, but overall enjoyable. Food was served a bit slow, but if you're there for drinks with friends it's not a problem. The sauces they made for some of the apps were delicious. We ordered the lumpia (loved!), taro bird's nest with fried cauliflower and beans, calamari, chicken rice (good, it's like hainan chicken rice), and stir fried noodles (called send noods lol). Dishes are meant to be shared bc they come in tapas sized plates and flavour is strong. I think the strength of this restaurant is in their sauces - just absolutely addicting and makes everything better. Definitely worth a visit!

The best part about my experience was the ube banana split. I like that it's unique and that it's one of the restaurant's signature dishes. Food overall was average. Apart from the ube banana split there wasn't much else from the food that stood out to me. It was just okay. The service however was not good. When we arrived for brunch the restaurant was half full. We felt that there was a lack of common sense with our server and that she didn't want to be there at all. She forgot one of our orders (the ube banana split) until we reminded her. She also tried to seat us right next to the door (it was something like -10 outside at the time) when she could've seated us away from it (the restaurant had other empty seats). I'm not too keen on coming back due to the poor service. There are plenty of other places to brunch with better service and better food.

Let me preface by saying I came here excited to try some vegan dishes, like their menu photos show. Come to find out, they have not updated their yelp page and no longer have vegan options beyond fries, noodles, edamame, and cucumber salad. Nothing on the menu can be modified enough. Being vegan, I would never suggest this place. This was very disappointing to me... tofu is not expensive nor hard to store. But that's besides the point. Upon inquiring, I was told they changed the menu to cater to the meat-demand. Had I not been so hungry after traveling all day, I would have left. Overall, the noodles were good. But not an exciting dish like I was hoping for. Also, it was empty for 7pm on a Friday night.

Favourite item: pineapple bun - so tasty! The pineapple bun has a nice crisp on the top but is otherwise so soft and fluffy. It's not as sweet as the traditional HK pineapple buns I'm familiar with, which is perfect for the pork belly combo. The pork belly is not overly fatty and the actual pineapples in the bun add some sweetness. Other mentions: Mama's roasted chicken rice - the chicken is so crispy and juicy and the rice is so tasty. This dish reminds me of hainanese chicken rice. Lumpia (spring rolls) - perfectly crispy and a lot of meat in the filling. A little different from your traditional spring rolls. Send noods - good noodles, but beware, it's quite spicy. This dish reminds me of Shanghai fried noodles. Drinks - I liked the white slush (refreshing, sweet, lychee) over the purple slush (milky, tasted more dessert-like, ube)

I was looking for a brunch spot that could provide me with tasty drinks with something savory and sweet-- Three Monks delivered! The staff was super hospitable. The food was really good, especially the meal I had with the purple ice cream. The ice cream was the perfect touch to the meal--not too sweet. I sat in their backyard, which was cute and decorated. You can enjoy it by yourself or with a group. It seems like you do need a reservation for the place--I can see it getting busy. I made one, but forgot to tell them at first. When I arrived they seemed concerned they couldn't sit me outside until I told them about my reservation. Next time I'm in Toronto I'd definitely return.

We went for brunch and it was definitely a good decision. The back patio was busy, so unfortunately we sat inside, but the decor was nice with the neon lights. We got the traditional breakfast and banana split. The Taiwanese sausages were delicious and a nice change in flavor from traditional breakfast sausages. The banana split was amazing and tasted as good as it looked in pictures. The ube ice cream from iHalo Krunch and tapioca balls were a nice touch and made the dish sweet and savory. Service was great and pricing was reasonable, looking forward to go back and try the dinner menu.

Spacious patio on Queen West! Went on a Friday night and it was comfortable and not too packed. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were on point! Their brunch menu looks really good, so I'm excited to try those dishes next time. Lots of Filipino love in the menu; very cool to see!

first time here and really happy with the service and the food. I loved how the portion was a great size - it wasn't overwhelmingly huge we had the Vietnamese Iced coffee eggs benny w/ potatoes korean pancake w/ house salad. definitely will be back!

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. Maybe their brunch menu is better, I don't know. But anyways. I took my friend here for her birthday on a Friday night. We were seated around 7:50, and ordered 2 dishes around 8. The menu was pretty sad and was a big let down - I expected better veggie options. I kid you not, we received our food just past 9:30. AN HOUR AND A HALF WAIT, for a plate of noodles and some raw tuna on a big cracker. Was it at least worth the wait? No, the "send noods" noodles were extremely salty and had a really weird aftertaste. It was just basic noodles drowned in soy sauce. Even my friend thought they were WAY too salty. Her tuna was also extremely salty. Oh, and the waitress didn't even come by to tell us sorry for the wait or that our food would take time until a little past the hour mark. I know it's a Friday but I've been served much faster in FAR more crowded restaurants on Friday/Saturday nights. No excuses. Will never go back.

Went to this restaurant with some friends to celebrate a birthday. They have a real fancy patio at the back of the restaurant which you have to walk thru the resto get to. Friendly staff and great food definitely helped make this birthday celebration a good one. I had the K-town Supreme Fries for an appitizer and it was delicious. For my main meal I had the Mama's Roasted Chicken Rice (roasted lemon brine chicken thigh on bone broth infused jasmine rice with scallion ginger, sweet soy and spicy sambal). It was the perfect size after eating a big app. Definitely head back over when I can.

Had a fun time at this patio (makeshift, on the street) a few weeks ago. The drinks are cute and the food is presented beautifully. Surprised the portions were pretty big! My friend had the spring rolls, and if I remember correctly, you got 6 large rolls (I didn't try them as they had pork in them, but she enjoyed them). I ordered the chicken on rice and it was great! I mean, you actually got big pieces of chicken sitting on top of the rice! Not some tiny pieces hidden in the rice. The chicken was crispy and flavourful, and it was a huge portion! I've been curious to try out their brunch menu! Would also love to sit inside at the bar, based on other reviews, it seems like a cool place to be!

Nestled in the back of this Queen St restaurant, theres this quaint and serene secret patio which makes you feel like you've left downtown Toronto. Their plates and glasswares are all so cute and Asian inspired which I LOVE. I like how their decor is representative of their Asian fusion dishes. We ordered: Send noods: These stir fried noodles are vegan, which isn't typically what I would go for, however they were recommended to us. I found them to be a bit bland and dry and prefer that kind of noodle to be saucier Mama's Roasted Chicken Rice: This was probably our favorite item. The scallion and ginger toppings were delicious Pineapple in the Pineapple Bun: The BBQ pork shoulder was very tender as it was sous vided for 14 hours. However I found the pineapple bun was nothing like the ones you would get from the Chinese bakeries. The buns here were far too dense. It would have been better to buy pinapple buns and stuff them IMO K-Town supreme fries: The fries were decent, but nothing to write home about Morning Glory: These were done Chinese style with fermented bean curd, however the sauce was too watery and there wasn't enough flavor The drinks however were on-point and really stood out because they were served in vessels such as coconuts and "Lucky Cat" jars. I would definitely come back for a drink on their patio in the future but probably not the food

Recently started seeing a lot of social media posts about three monks and a duck and wanted to check out what this place is all about. Great ambience, great environment, and music playlist was on point. That's about everything that this restaurant has going for it unfortunately. Customer service was lacking, and kitchen was understaffed. There were a number of instances where finished plates and finished drinks just sat on our small table even though servers walked by. We ordered pineapple buns, dozen oysters, taro nest, and mamas roasted chicken rice (not pictured because we were almost 2 hours into our dinner, and kitchen didn't start on it yet, so we cancelled the order). Pineapple bun was really good, the buns added a little sweetness to go with the pork belly, I'd recommend this. Taro nest was an interesting spin on a classic dish, deep fried cauliflower with mayo was something different. Overall, probably wouldn't come back for food, but for a drink absolutely. Definitely more of a bar vibe with good music to hang out with a few friends.

I've been here a couple occasions for dinner and brunch. While I love the fusion concept I do find the execution doesn't always hit the mark. This is just my opinion and I'm not saying the food is bad by any means, but I personally found either the food was too heavy (e.g. French toast) or lacked flavour. I really do love the idea of the restaurant and they have invested a lot into the decor and service so I'd give this place a go if you're remotely interested in Filipino/Asian fusion.

I'm sure we've all seen pics from this restaurant take over our feed in the summer. Finally went to try this place on Halloween and their outdoor patio was closed for the winter season. Their indoor dining area was very small and can fit around 15-20 people? If you want to try this place, I highly recommend getting a reservation as people kept walking in asking for a table and there just wasn't any room. The drinks were fun. I got the cat one and it was like any girly drink - sweet and tangy. For food, I got the banana split and for the price (around $13), I was expecting the portion to be double the size. The tapioca bubbles were very fresh and soft. The Ube ice cream was not overly sweet and the bread pudding was soft. Sure, I was full-ish after my meal but I definitely snacked later on. We also got the eggs Benny with a sausage add on. Not sure why it costs $6 for one sausage.. again, small portions for the price. The potatoes were really good. Overall, good service, good food but portions could be bigger.

The first time I was here with my boyfriend was for a quick drink. There was a list of Asian-inspired drinks, and I had one with calamansi, which I absolutely loved. We really liked how small and intimate the place was and the decor! The second time I came was with two friends for dinner. Together, we ordered three dishes and we were satiated. We had the pineapple pork bun, the taro nest and their version of a hainanese chicken rice. Fortunately, we were able to order one more bun, instead of have to share two buns amongst three people. The meat was incredibly soft and the bun was flakey. The taro nest/bird's nest is vegetarian, with the option to add meat. It tasted similar to something you could get on Chinatown, but slightly saltier. Our favourite was eating the taro nest! My favourite dish in the world is Hainanese chicken rice made in Singapore. To my surprise, they had their version here which was somewhat similar and very rich in flavour. Our rich was also rich, but slightly salty My only complaint was that it was so good, I wish I could have ordered two plates. Overall, we enjoyed our time here, and I really enjoy the ambiance and the cute logo.

This place is aesthetically pleasing but the service was below average. They paid no attention to us and had to flag for their attention a few times during our meal. The spring rolls and poutine were great and the drinks were pretty. Overall I would recommend this place for one drink to maybe get the night started.

Although I love the concept of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters dining together, the food and service was mediocre. They have a pretty small menu so I was surprised to hear when they ran out of the greens birds nest. The drinks were above average but took over 20 mins to make. Food wise, I only ordered oysters, noodles, pineapple buns. It took over an hour to get the oysters, then 10 more mins to get the noodles and 5 more for the buns. The noodles were very overly salty. The pineapple buns tasted good but had very dry meat and does not taste like it's been sousvide for 14 hours. I initially thought it was a one off day but it seems slow service is a pattern. I also think that you should give your guests heads up if the kitchen is backed up rather than assuming people will be okay with it. If you do come, don't come hungry

Such a lovely time. The cocktails are the real draw but the food is also awesome. Professional and charming staff, a bathroom with duck wallpaper you're apparently supposed to fuck in, and more hipsters thank you can shake a stick at. The only thing keeping them from being five stars is how limited the menu is. They have the kitchen and the staff for it so they should expand the food options.

Was in a very cute place. The overall restaurant is kinda small but we didn't really have to wait. The lychee mimosa was actually really nice and went really well with what we got. The ube ice cream French toast was realllyyyy good. The ice cream itself was different than what I usually get but paired really well with the toast. The Benedict was good too but I wouldn't say anything too too crazy but still good. Overall, would definitely recommend this place if you you get the chance to!

Loved the fun Asian fusion dishes here! Creative dishes and cocktails. I had the cat Collins cocktail which came in a cute cat mug.

Came here because of an insta post a while back for the banana split brunch. I have to say it did not disappoint. I already want to go back and get another one it was so good!! Not a bad price for brunch either (given the area). I will def be back to try their brunch again and their lunch menu, and to sit on the patio! Took a star off because we were pretty squishy in the front of the restaurant like an inch away from the table behind us :( could hardly hear my friends I came to brunch w because of the loud and close table behind.

The food is amazing! The restaurant is very tiny so make sure you make reservations which is easy to do on Yelp. We had the pineapple bun, rice rolls and the chicken on rice. All 3 dishes were very tasty. The menu is quite small and plates are made to share with others. The only thing I would recommend is to create a dessert menu. They only had 1 item for dessert which we passed on. The brunch menu looks fantastic! I now need to come for brunch so I could try their benedicts.

The food is EXTREMELY AWFUL! We wait for 45 min for our food. Extremely slow and it is really really disappointing. The food have no taste at all. Is water down and really bad flavor. If u are hungry DO NOT COME! If u are a foodie, DO NOT COME! If u have expectation for this please, DONT! We are really mad at ourself even walk in the restaurant, we spend $67 dollars for the worse food ever. Just don't waste ur time or money on this place. Just horrible!

Amazing service here! Was able to grab a table on the patio. They have a great menu of cocktails to choose from. We ordered the pina Colada slush (absolutely delish), boozy coconut (refreshing) and the aperol spritz. For food, we got to try the crispy calamari, pineapple in pineapple bun, morning glory, roasted chicken rice, and send noodz. The calamari was a decent portion and I loved the thickness. The pineapple bun is a MUST! The pork belly is cooked to perfection and was perfectly seasoned. The roasted chicken rice was great, loved the ginger onion seasoning on top. Had a fantastic time on this patio recently! All the food was super flavourful and plated beautifully. The overall vibe was also great, and I loved being able to enjoy these great fusion tapas while also enjoying Queen West. The only thing I might not order again are the fries--while I like the idea of them, I think that using ground meat vs thinly sliced strips made it a bit more difficult to enjoy, and the taste of the blowtorched cheese wasn't great. Also, the cold kimchi felt like it was just thrown on top--I think that grilling/pan frying the kimchi first would make it more cohesive and elevated.

Interesting asian-inspired small brunch & dinner dishes and drinks!! Reasonably priced too at $8-$13. Outstandingly was the UBE BANANA SPLIT. That pineapple bread pudding, carmelized banana, soft chewy tapioca, all topped with cold ube ice cream...A++ for the textures & creative flavours. I've tried their Cat Lady & Buddha Belly drinks and enjoyed the alcohol content & tastiness of both. Bonus points for also coming in the cutest figurine mugs !

Do yourself a favour and get the lumpia (Filipino spring rolls) and take an order to go as well - they are nothing short of incredible! Ambience was fun and relaxed on the patio. Perfect place for drinks and sharing plates. Would definitely come here again!

We have been meaning to try this place forever and we finally got to go! We had to start off with cocktails cause that's what they're known for and it absolutely didn't disappoint . I got their pina colada slush and it came with such a cute raccoon faced cup. This cocktail was legit a vacation in a cup . My bf got Flannel Season because he loves ginger beer, and it was a strong but delicious drink . There were so many dishes I wanted to try there so we got three . First, we had to try their vegetarian dish, their Green Bird's Nest, which had tempura battered cauliflowers and green beans. It was placed on top of a crispy taro bird's nest, which was such a unique presentation . We absolutely loved the kewpie mayo and furikake on top of these fried veggies. The second dish we got was their signature pineapple bun. It sandwiched a gourmet bbq pork shoulder and we absolutely love the pineapple jam smouldered on it. The pineapple bun's crust was so sweet and flaky and it adds a layer of complexity to the burger. Lastly, we got their K town supreme fries and it was such a delicious finger food. It was like a nacho dish but a Korean fusion version with fries. I loved the bulgogi meat as well as it was sweet and savory. The decor was so cute and cool with all the purple neon lights too. We also loved their comic book wall at the back by the stairs to the washroom. You have to check that out . If you want a cute intimate date spot, or just a vibey place to hang and chill with friends, this place is a must try spot.

Just left this place feeling so stuffed. Wow we had their pineapple bun and it was bomb! We ordered the chicken rice 3/5 (sort of dry), Morning glory 3/5, Taiwanese noodle 5/5, pineapple bun 6/5, the cauliflower 4/5. They also have oysters on special Tuesday's-Thursday's. Also they have a ton of different cocktails. I'm coming back for that pineapple bun with pork ...

This place had a cute decor but is very small with limited seating. We made the mistake of showing info up without a reservation on Saturday at 12:30. They luckily managed to seat us at the bar and the manager/ owner (?) was very accommodating on allowing us to swap seats once the reservations became a no show. There was a limited brunch menu but we tried 3 items and it was all very good. Disclaimer we did go to a yoga class beforehand but I still think the portions are a bit small. We ordered the Hakka spicy noodles, Korean stuffed pancake breakfast and the Three Monks Banana Split for dessert. The Hakka noodles were very spicy! So make sure you're okay with spice before you order this. But this was delicious I even stole some hash browns from the pancake breakfast to soak up this sauce. The Korean pancake had a great chewy texture to it and the hash browns were done as well. The highlight for me was actually our dessert dish! The Ube ice cream, deep fried banana and bun was a perfect combination with the chewy tapioca. Also have to note the amazing mimosa special- $8 dollars for a maximum of 8 mimosas. You can pick from lychee, guava, and orange juice. I can't wait to come back for dinner to try their dinner menu.

A super cute small restaurant serving up small share dishes and delicious cocktails. [Pineapple in Pineapple Bun] - These were AMAZING!! Our favourite dish of the night [Send Noods] - While this dish was good, it didn't really stand out to us [Mama's Roasted Chicken on Rice] - Assuming their version of Hainan Chicken on rice, this dish was delicious with tender juicy chicken.

Passed by this new micro bar on Queen West. Wandered in with a couple friends to try them out. They have a unique menu with combining Asian inspired dishes in a tapas format. The place is small so arrive early. Staff are super friendly and service was quick. They even have lots of interesting drinks that have garnishes grown in-house. Definitely a gem in Queen West area. I loved the drinks and the pineapple pork belly bun as my faves. We also found out that they are the same owners as ihalo krunch which is a few doors west. Although they offer dessert here, it is tempting to visit the ice cream shop nearby.

Cute little bar that seats like 20 people max. Most items here are vegetarian and vegan, friendly except for their made in house pineapple in the pineapple bun, which is famous for their 16 hours marinated pork belly inside. My beau was just craving for something like after our dinner and walk through Trinity-Bellwoods Park. We ordered the Forgot the Flour, which is coffee froth and deep fried mochi donuts. Donuts were sweet and chewy, while the coffee was light and frothy. The chococubes were deeply rich and had cranberries, apricot and almonds inside! Super friendly and attentive staff that ask you for allergies and made great suggestions! Only takeaway was that this place is otherwise far and too loud for me. It is a bar after all, but because the space is quite small, it just felt even louder than needed. Still, I am so happy to know that there is now a bar for vegetarians and vegans!!
