Wow! This unassuming little place in the heart of Chinatown is a refreshing take on Thai food. Centering around chicken there are numerous fried chicken platters with various sauces and styles. We ordered the Zab fried chicken, (Zab is a Thai powder flavoring made with crushed cooked rice and lemongrass). This came with sticky rice, a salad and a cup of broth. We also ordered the scallion pancakes which are epic! Not dry at all, light fresh and delicious! My wife ordered a poached chicken that came in a broth with glass noodles. All in all the food is fantastic! Such a great alternative to the same same at so many other Thai spots. The decor is super fun! Kind of a dinette with a circular bar in the back and great knickknacks on the walls.

Their white meat poached chicken is so sad, dry, and bland. Just look at these photos - tasted as bad as it looks. My friend only managed to eat a few of the pieces. Their rice is sadly plain and average. The Zabb chicken just has the powder drizzled on top, doesn’t really feel like it’s been marinated and soaked into the chicken. One of the worst chicken rice experience I’ve had, even worse since I’ve just lived in south east Asia for 3 years where it’s rich in flavor, cheap, and have tender juicy chicken with fragrant tasty rice. Hard pass, don’t bother coming here.

An absolute gem. New favourite in Chinatown. The fried zabb chicken was perfectly seasoned, not too oily. Ginger rice was delicious and savory. Not only that but the staff were incredible attentive and nice. Restaurant had tons of seating, a bar, and pristine. They just opened 5 months ago.

As a regular at Three Roosters in Hell’s Kitchen, I couldn’t be happier to see them in Chinatown! Their second location is bigger and their menu is extensive. At their first location, they mainly serve 3 kinds of chicken & rice but now they extend their specialties to serve chicken & noodles too! I tried their Tom Yum Chicken Noodle and Loved it! It reminds me of the chicken noodle I had in Thailand. Their flavor is authentic. So happy that I can now have this noodle in NYC! My husband tried the Massaman Fried Chicken rice and he enjoyed it. From my understanding, most Thai places in NYC, serve Massaman curry with boiled chicken but it’s my first time seeing Fried Chicken served with Massaman curry and it’s a hit! I can see this dish as their next best-selling dish. They also offer more appetizers. We tried chives pancakes and they’re so good. The texture is like mochi but it’s crispy outside. We also ordered our favorite appetizer “Zab Fries”. Their Zab seasoning is so addictive. Definitely try this if you still haven’t tried. The service is topnotch just like at their1st location. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. They are now in soft opening with the promotion to win a prize (free chicken & rice for a month, Bogo free, free app, 10% discount etc.) I definitely recommend this place.

I recommend the grilled chicken +sticky rice set. I ordered the fried chicken Zai but I like my friend’s grilled chicken better. The taro sticky rice dessert is really good too. The quality deserve its price. I would definitely recommend and try it again with friends.

This is a nice single serving place for chicken over rice. The roasted or fried chicken is better than the peaches poached chicken. Fried tofu was pretty good. Service can be pretty slow though.

Amazing service and ambiance. You are allowed to sit inside or outside. The combo chicken dinner dish was amazing and crunchy. The chicken tastes even more delicious when dipped in the broth. For soup and broth lovers the Tom yum is heavenly! We also had the rolls and samosa/empanada like treats and they were perfection.

The perfect spot for lovers of chicken and Thai spices! The staff here was more than willing to accommodate my party of 10, and served everything very quickly. All the dishes were well-seasoned and fresh, not oily or greasy despite being fried.
