Thumbs Up Diner

It was our first time here back in May and it was so delicious! A friend recommended it to us. I had a build your own breakfast platter and the price was super cheap for how much food I got. I wish I could remember the server's name but he was patient and super nice and silly. Thank you for the awesome experience!

The absolute worst service a person could ask for. Not only was the food cold and tasteless, the server had no concern about how I felt as a consumer or just as a person. The place is very out of date I visited due to the great reviews then thought they cant be speaking of this location. Regardless I say spend you money elsewhere THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BE.

The food was mediocre. I ordered the chicken, eggs, and waffles. It was very bland. I can make better tasting food at home. Also for almost $12 the portions are despicable. I will not be going back! I have uploaded a pic of the supposed to be chicken strips. The service however, was ok.

I have tried this place on/off for the past year. When it is good, the food is delicious and the décor works well. The staff can be friendly and welcoming which creates the diner atmosphere their marketing implies. The problem is inconsistency. I have ordered the same dish four times to varying result: Waffle extra dark Bacon Eggs medium well I have received an undercooked waffle once. Regular once and extra dark twice. My eggs have come out medium well once. They've either been completely well done (twice) or nearly over easy once. I would rate five if it weren't for inconsistency and cash only.

Food was average/good (depending on what we ate). Worse service I have ever experienced. First time in my life I didn't tip. He maybe came by two total times including our order. To be fair a lot of the other servers were attentive to their customers but we didn't seem to be lucky.

Pros: - great veggie toasted bagel - biscuits were good - so cheap! Cons: - spuds were meh We got to sit outside, the waitress took our orders promptly, and we got our food quickly. The bagel didn't have as much cream cheese as I was expecting but it was still surprisingly good. Our total was under $15 for two people, great deal for the price.

The food was good and the sizes are large. We order two pancakes and two pieces of french toast which was enough for 3, 4, 6, and 7 year olds. They also give large side orders of french fries with their sandwiches and they have the best seasoning. Line does move fast so our wait for an 8 person table on a Saturday morning was quick.

Service was not the best, waitress never came to check on us, no refills. I ordered the Belgium waffle alone with my meal, and never received my butter or syrup so I didn't eat it. And was asked if I wanted a to go plate for my waffle. Once she bought the to go plate out and as she walked away I had to still ask her to bring me condiments to eat my waffle with. And also paid 10$ to park, 4$ initially to park and 2$ every 20 min there after. Much better experience and service at the Edgewood location
